Sanyukta</p>

<font size="4">Aggarwal Mansion</font>:

Amidst, the chirping of the bird lays a girl who at the
point is looking nothing less than an angel resided on earth, sun rays are
playing peek-a-boo with the curtains hanging around the window in the room. She
scrunched her eyes as the rays are directly falling on her face disturbing her
sleep. She again turns her face mumbling something which sounds like this "Sunji
please, don't disturb me na" and then goes back again in a deep peaceful
slumber of sleep which again is broken by a shrill sound of an alarm clock kept
beside her bed side table. She sees the time it's 5: 30 am and gets up with a
jerk.

Her eyes are as wide as saucers seeing the time as she's
late by half an hour. Immediately she closes her eyes and joins her hands and
starts praying to the god.

"Dear God ji firstly very very good morning to you. Thank
you for everything. Hope this day goes smoothly without any trouble as it is
very important day for my family as my dad is working very hard for this
business deal. Please support him. Thank you."

She quickly finishes her prayer and jumps out of the bed for
getting ready.

"Chal Sanyu ab jaldi se ready ho ja...ek toh waise hi aaj
tu late hai."

Soon we get to see a beautiful girl clad in maroon red color
churidar making necessary arrangements for breakfast. By 6:45 tea is ready, she
goes to her parent's room to wake them up and give them their morning tea and
coffee. She reaches the door slowly handling two hot cups of tea and coffee simultaneously.

"Maa, Papa wake up, its morning" says Sanyukta
smiling loudly.

The door opens and Sanyukta's mom appears

"Hum dono toh kab ke hi uth gaye...agar tere bharose
rehte na...toh aaj toh bhagwan hi jane kya ho jata" says Mrs. Aggarwal
sarcastically.

Sanyukta's smile dimmed a little bit.

"Nai maa...aisa nai hai main who aaj..." said
Sanyukta but was rudely cut off by her mom

"Ab tu mujhse jaban ladayagi...teri itni himmat" Said
Mrs. Aggarwal by pulling her elbow. Due to this sudden jerk, half of the hot coffee
and tea spills on Sanyukta's hand making the cups fall down.

"Aaahhh...maa ba...bahut dard ho raha hai...aahh...ple...please
chodiye na" says Sanyukta crying hysterically.

Seeing Sanyukta's crying face Mrs. Aggarwal makes an
irritated face and says

"Yehi teri saza hai manhoos...tujhe pata hai na ki aaj
tere papa ki kitni important deal hai phir bhi tune aisa kia...ab
bhughat...acha hi hua jo bhi hua...issi karan tujhe apni galti ka sabak bhi mil
jayega." Says Mrs. Aggarwal while twisting her ear hard.

There words were stabbing Sanyukta's heart like anything.

"M...maa pl...please I...am...so...rry...sorry maa...aage se
aisa kabhi nai hoga...please mujhe jane dijiye" says Sanyukta sobbing.

While on the other side Mr. Aggarwal was being a silent
spectator to this scene, watching with a contented face as if it is not a big
deal.

"Ab aise khade-khade kya dekh rahi ho...yeh cup ke tukre
kaun uthayega...jab se aayi ho tabse nuksaan karwati aayi ho...huh" Mr. Aggarwal
sneered.

"J...ji" says Sanyukta feeling scared.

As she bend down to pick the pieces up, her hands were
shaking and paining badly from pain and now these glass pieces was not doing
any better job instead hurting her more in the process. Nonetheless she picked
those pieces up and scurried out of the room.

As soon as she reached her room...her only sanctuary, she
let the pain consume her body and mind and broke down as more than the physical
injuries; the emotional injuries were causing her pain. Without caring about
her hands and tending them she reached out for her parent's photo albeit a real
one and hugged the frame close to her heart tightly.

"Kyun...kyun hota hai mere saath aisa. K...kya galti hai
meri boliye na maa, papa."

Sanyukta wanted to pour her heart out in front of her
parents so as to seek comfort from them and wants them to understand her
predicament. Tears were flowing down continuously on her soft cheeks which had
turned red due to continuous crying and were not in a mood to stop.

"Kyun Anju maa mujhe pasand nai karti hai maa. K...kyun
mujhse itni nafrat karti hai who even papa bhi...maine to bas unse thoda pyaar
chaha tha...phir kyunnn!!!!!!" saying she broke down completely.

After crying for an hour or so Sanyukta composes herself.
Big red puffy eyes were the only proof of her condition which itself was
depicting how much pain she was in. Though her family never loved her, abused her,
sometimes even physically, she still love them. Luckily the marks they gave her
would fade away in a few days so no permanent damage. She believed that love
will one day find its way into her life and she will wait for that day.

No sooner the time arrived of everyone waking up. Sanyukta
sets up the breakfast at the table in a clean and pristine manner as everyone
likes it. Soon we saw four people coming downstairs heading towards the dining
table. Two of them we had already met and the remaining two were Ankit and
Vidushi who were twins two year younger than her. Even though they both didn't
like her and may not treat her well but Sanyukta on the other hand treats them
like her own siblings and loves and cares for them very much.

"Aye Sanki...ugh...I mean Sanyukta aaj kya banaya hai
khane mein?" Visushi asked warily.

"Vids aaj na maine tumhare liye tumhara man pasand aaloo
puri banaya hai...tumhe bahut acha lagta hai na...batao na kaisa bana hai"
asked Sanyukta excitedly.

Here Vidushi scrunched her face in disgust in seeing such an
oily food though she really like eating it while Sanyukta was looking at her
expectantly.

"Yeh kya banaya hai tumne Sanyukta...itna saara oily
food...maine tumse kaha tha na ki main dieting pe hun...phir bhi tumne jaan-bhooj
kar aisa kia hai na...taki main apna figure na maintain kar paun" said Vidushi
furiously.

Sanyukta's mood went off the drain as she prepared the dish
with so much love and excitement...but

"Nai Vids...woh..."

"Pehle toh yeh...tum mujhe Vids mat bulaya karo...kitni bar
kaha hai...mera naam Vidushi hai" said Vidushi abruptly cutting off
Sanyukta.

"Par mujhe tumhe Vids kehna acha lagta hai...coz you are
my sweet little sister" says Sanyukta lovingly.

"Whatever" Vidushi said disinterested.

"Maine toh yeh aloo-puri islye banaya coz ek toh tume
itna acha lagta hai aur upar se sara time dieting karte wakt tumhari health bhi
kharab ho sakti hai." Says Sanyukta affectionately.

"Tumhe meri phikar karne ki koi zarurat nai hai...samjhi
tum" "Mere Ankit bhai hai meri care karne ke liye" said Vidushi.

"Par tumhari phikar nai karungi toh aur kiski karungi
Vidushi" said Sanyukta mentally.

"Haan yeh sahi keh rahi hai...tumse jitna kaha jaye utna hi
kaam karo toh acha rahega...zyada interfere karne ki zarurat nai hai" said
Ankit rudely.

"Acha acha ab sab nashta karo" says Mr. Aggarwal.

This was a daily morning routine in the aggarwal mansion
with Sanyukta making their favorite dishes and serving them.

Suddenly their chattering was being interrupted by the door
bell.
