This was a daily morning routine in the aggarwal mansion with Sanyukta making their favorite dishes and serving them.
Suddenly their chattering was being interrupted by the door bell.

"Sanyukta jake dekho to kaun hai" said Mrs. Aggarwal.
"Ji maa..." Sanyukta nodded her head and went to open the door. As she opened the door, a courier man came into the view.
"Mam, Mr. Aggarwal ke naam pe yeh courier aaya hai"
"Here, give it to me" says Sanyukta.
Sanyukta signed the receipt and walked inside closing the door behind her.

Few minutes earlier:
When the courier guy was about to ring the door bell. A voice called out to him from behind.
"Suniye bhaiya...rukiye ek minute"
Hearing the voice the guy turned around only to see a slim looking girl walking towards him.
"Kya hua madam?" the Courier guy asked the girl.
"Who bhaiya kiska courier aaya hai?" the girl asked him.
"Ji madam ek toh Mr. Aggarwal ke naam ka letter hai aur ek Miss Sanyukta Aggarwal ke naam pe hai."
The girl then said something to him and takes the letter from him who was addressed to Sanyukta with her and walks away while on the other side the courier guy turned towards the door and rings the door bell.

"Kaun tha Sanyukta wahan darwaze pe?" asked Mr. Aggarwal.
"Papa who courier wala tha, aapke liye courier aaya hai" says Sanyukta.
"Lao dikhao" said Mr. Aggarwal.
Sanyukta handed the envelope to her dad and as soon as Mr. Aggarwal opened up and read the letter, his face brightened like a 100 watt bulb.
"Papa kya hua, aisa kya hai iss letter mein?" asked Ankit curiously.
"Boliye na papa, kya likha hai isme?" Vidushi piped in as Sanyukta and Mrs. Aggarwal also waited curiously for the answer.
"Arre bhai, maine tum logon ko bataya tha na ki aaj meri ek important deal sign hone wali hai, jisse humhe bahut fayda hoga bas ussi ka acceptance aaya hai...WE'VE GOT THE DEAL!!!!" Mr. Aggarwal screamed with happiness.
Soon the whole house erupted in happiness creating loud noises, some cheering, some hugging, laughing and crying. As Sanyukta turned and hugged her father tight wishing him
"Congratulations papa...I'm soo happy for you" said Sanyukta smiling widely.
Mr. Aggarwal rudely pushes her off which makes her stumble back a little but she holds herself from falling down with the help of the table. Vidushi and Ankit silently giggled seeing this.
"Haan, haan theek hai" Mr. Aggarwal said disinterested.
Sanyukta smile started to fade but it came back as quickly as it was gone. She will not take it to her heart and now was used to this kind of behavior. But nevertheless she was happy as finally her father hard work pays off. She mentally thanked her god and prayed for her family happiness to always remain entact like this.
After few minutes, Sanyukta brings sweets from the kitchen for celebrating the news.
"Papa, aaj itni achi news mili hai, kyun na hum celebrate kare" says Vidushi excitedly.
"Haan papa, Vidu sahi keh rahi hai...kyun na hum abhi ek mini outing ke liye jaye?" asked Ankit.
Vidushi and Sanyukta's eyes brightened up with excitement.
"Mini outing...kya?" asked Mrs. Aggarwal being confused.
"Uffo maa, mini outing matlab shopping + movie + dinner...wow kitna maza aayega, chaliye na maa papa please" Vidushi explained.
Mr. Aggarwal appeared to be giving it a thought.
"Chaliye na maa papa" Sanyukta also pleaded.
"Theek hai chalet hai" said Mr. Aggarwal and Mrs. Aggarwal also nodded in approval agreeing with him.
Sanyukta s eyes glistened with happiness and excitement on the aspect of going out with her family and celebrating but before she could voice out her thoughts Mrs. Aggarwal interrupted her breaking her line of thoughts.
"Tu yahan khade-khade kya muskura rahi hai Sanyukta, humare aane pehle, mujhe saara kaam pura milna chahiye...samjhi tu" said Mrs. Aggarwal sternly.
"Par maa, main bhi..." Sanyukta started to say but never got a chance to complete her words as father's voice interrupted her making her flinch.
"Suna nai tune...ja jake apna kaam kar" said Mr. Aggarwal shouting at her.
"Huh, badi aayi humare saath chalne wali" Vidushi sneered.
Sanyukta hurriedly went to her room feeling scared with tears streaming down at her face.
As soon as she reached her room, she closed the door behind her and sat down on the floor with her head resting on the bed and tears continuously flowing down on her soft cascaded cheeks. After few more minutes of continuous crying there were no more tears left to shed, the painful look into her eyes has been replaced by a faraway look but in reality looking at nothing in particular.
She really wanted to go and spend some time with her parents and celebrating with them as its been soo long she'd actually gone out enjoying and spending time with someone but unfortunately never got the opportunity to.
Suddenly, there was sound of door bell which were succeeded in bringing her back from the thoughts which will only give nothing but pain.
She reached the door and opened it to find a young girl, with big round shape eyes shadowed by rim shaped spectacles, grinning cutely at her.
"Tum yahan" said Sanyukta genuinely surprised.
"Haan main, kyun nai aa sakti" says the girl smilingly.
"Nai nai aisa nai hai, I'm very happy to see you yaar, I missed you soo much Kausto" saying Sanyukta hugged the girl tightly.
Yes, the girl here is Kaustaki.
"I missed you too Sanyu soo much" said Kaustaki happily hugging her back.
"Tum theek toh hona Sanyu, unn logon ne tumhe pareshan toh nahi kia" said Kaustaki roaming her eyes all over her body checking for any mark of injuries present there.
"Main bilkul theek hun Kausto, tu chinta mat kar" says Sanyukta smilingly.
"Tu chup kar Sanyu, chinta toh hogi hi na" said Kaustaki holding her elbow while walking inside.
"Waise yeh tumhare chidiya ghar ke prani nazar nai aa rahe hai kahi...kahan hai sab?" said Kaustaki looking around the empty house not that she was in any mood to meet them.
"Kausto...chup aise mat bol, jaise bhi hai meri family hai...who kya hai na, aaj papa ki ek bahut badi deal sign hui hai...islye sab celebrate karne ke liye bahar gaye hai" said Sanyukta, her expressions changing from once happy to now sad.
"Aur tumhe unn logon ne saath le jane se mana kar dia hoga?" asked Kaustaki tersely.
"Nai kausto...who toh maine hi mana karr dia...a tha..." says Sanyukta but seeing Kaustaki glaring at her, her voice become low with every passing syllable as she knows that she was blatantly saying a lie.
"Huh...unn logon se aur expect bhi kya kar sakte hai" Kaustaki muttered.
They were now in Sanyukta's room.
"Acha yeh sab chod na...aur bata kya kar rahi thi aaj kal" asked Sanyukta sitting on the bed beside Kaustaki.
"Main aisa kuch karke aa rahi hun...jisse teri aur meri kismet hamesha-hamesha ke liye badal jayegi" said Kaustaki smiling mischievously at her before flashing two white colored envelopes in front of her eyes which were addressed to both of them respectively.
Sanyukta's eyes widened at realization and her heart literally stop beating for a second in anticipation of what is hidden behind those white covers.
