Part 1
Vd sir made an announcement in the class"our fresher's party is on Wednesday. And he progressed to the remaining topic of 2nd lesson. But all students are excited. They are planning what to wear in the party. After Vd sir's class, one of our senior came into our class .
Senior: "so friends, I came here to invite you all for the fresher's party officially on behalf of ur seniors. So guyz, are u all excited?"
All students:" yes sir."
Senior: "well, we r too. I want to say 2 things. 1st, the theme for the night is beach party.'2nd, some of u have to participate in the cultural program. (to Rd) Rd, give me list of students who will dance or sing by afternoon."
Rd: "yes sir."
Senior: "k,i'm going now. U guyz, come and njoy."
Arpu gave her name for dance. And turned towards me and mouthed u dance?'. I mouthed a big no'. the remaining periods went as usual. After the last hour, another senior came to class with final list of students whom will participate in the cultural events.
Senior: "for dance, Priya, Deepika, Arpita, x, y, z,...participate in group dance. And a solo performance by Sanyukta Agarwal."
WHAT??? Me, a solo performance???? No way. Even though, I'm a trained dancer,I didn't perform on a stage. I only dance for my njoyment. WAIT, who gave my name?? may be I know the culprit. I looked at Rd. he gave me his trade mark smile, a sarcastic one. I got my answer. How dare he?? I'm going to cancel my name.
But that went in vein when senior announced another thing ie, that was the final list. No changes will be made on it.
Oh god. This is it. I'm going crazy bcz of that stupid RSS. What should I do now? DANCE, what else?? Chalo Sanyu, karo dance. All the best to me.
After reaching hostel,I asked my buddies to suggest a song on which I can dance. They said many songs. But I didn't like any of them. Being exhausted, I left to canteen. Ordered coffee, waited for that and thought abt some songs. Just then I heard a mobile ring tone- main ruthiya yaar manawangi...' I turned back and saw the owner of that phone- Jignesh. He smiled at me and to my surprise, he came and sat on a chair near me.
Me: "hai, Jignesh."
J: hai Sanyu.
Me: Sanyu?? Ohh, Kausthu told u that.
J: yup, and ha, plz call me Jiggy.
Me:k,k, Jiggy ab khush?? Y did u came to me all on a sudden?
J: Kausthu messaged me abt u and ur dance, just now. Wanna song to dance?
Me: hmm(so Kausthu shares everything with him )
J: may I suggest?
Me: my pleasure.
J: what abt kamli song?
Me: u mean, from dhoom3?
J: yup
Me: no yar, it's really very fast no. and more over, doesn't have enough time to practice.
Then I heard Rd's voice: then y don't u step back from it?
Me: hey u, better don't interfere in my matters.
Rd: I will, bcz u r my partner Ms. Lab partner.
J: arrey Rd bhai, her name is Sanyukta, Sanyukta Agarwal.
Rd: then, Ms. Agarwal, u better don't dance on that song. I want to live here with dignity. After all, u r my partner, people will laugh at me also when u screw up on the stage."
I was hell irritated by his words. What he thinks of himself?
Me: "what? I can dance on that song."
Rd: "u can't"
Me: "I can."
Rd: "better show this attitude on the stage."
Me: "I will."
With that we parted each other leaving a hell confused Jiggy. Jiggy looked at me then at Rd and finally sat on a chair with his hands on his head.
I stormed into my room. Walked inside room. What he thinks of himself ha? I can't dance? Yes I can dance on that song. I will show it to that sadu. Argh...
I said all things that happened in the canteen to Arpu and Kausthu.
A: "I suggested the same song early. But u don't like that. Look now, u r going to dance on the same song bcz ur partner said u. what's on going on btw u two...ha??"
Me: "enmity. And 1 more thing, he is my lab partner, not life partner."
With that I rushed out of room. I heard laughter of Arpu and Kasuthu.
Oho, I'm crazy. I need some fresh air.So I went to school's terrace. I looked at the sky. It was awesome. It reminded the sun set point. That was really really... I don't have words to describe it. I was calm. I closed eyes, extended hands sideways. I felt the breeze that is touching my hands, back, hair. I felt me, the real me. I needed this feeling. It's just like...
"hey u, what are u doing here?" these words interrupted my thoughts. I turned back and saw,
Parth: "Sanyukta, right? what r u doing here in this time?"
Me: "hmmm, nothing. Btw, what r u doing here?"
Parth: "I usually come here on eve. U know, it's beautiful to watch that view" and he pointed to the sky.
Me:(sighed)"ya, I wanted some fresh air, that's y I came here."
Parth: "k, I'm going now. U carry on." I smiled, he waved at me and left
I should concentrate on dance, right? What abt practicing now? I played kamli song in my mobile. Wait, I should assign some steps 1st. so I stopped the song and sing in my mind. In order to remember allthe steps, I took video of the entire things' in my mobile. After practicing for 1 hour, I left that place. In my room, I was smiling at nothing. Seeing that Arpu asked me, I shrugged my shoulder in reply.

I was roaming inside my room as if I forgot my eve walk. But actually I was thinking. What should I wear in the party? And it a stupid theme"beach party. Koi rakhtha hai kya aisa??
Thaen Kausthu entered the room and said:"arrey Sanyu, come...come with me." I raised my left eyebrow for'y?' she rolled her eyes in reply.
K: "offo, sanyu. We have to go for shopping and grab some nice dress for he party. Arpu is waiting downstairs. Come fast. "
We left the room, actually she dragged me out of the room. We came at the bus stop near our school. and we the shopping mall.
In the mall, I stood near a pile of dresses which were selected by Kausthu for me. She told me to took any one from those. Oh god, this girl is making me crazy.
Me: "Kausthu, I didn't select a single ribbon for my school till now. And u also know that. Still, u r asking me to select one dress from these. U r kidding me."
Kausthu: I know that. But there is always a 1st time. Do it now. It's not a big matter."
Me: "it-is-a-big-matter. U know, I'm confused as hell by seeing all these dresses. And u r asking..."
A: "offo, hei drama queen, I will help u." I smiled and nodded.
A: "now, close ur eyes.(I did so) walk forwad, took any one among from them"
I touched something. I opened my eyes. It was a nice sky blue dress. I liked it. Looked at mirror,holding the dress in front of me. My buddies showed their thumbs. I asked them to select dress for them also. To my surprise, they said that, they already selected dress. Can u believe it?? They selected dress within 15 minutes. May be I'm not that good in selecting dress. Anyway, the dress I selected was vey good. On the way back to hostel, I asked Kausthu
" baby, I have a doubt."
K: "shoot."
Me: "when u asked me to select one dress from the pile that u made in front of me, I didn't see any sky blue one there. But how did i...??"
Kausthu looked Arpu to answer me. And I shifted my gaze to Arpu.
A: "actually, selected that dress for u Sanyu. When I asked u to close ur eyes, I placed that on that table."
Me: "thank u so much Arpu. U guyz r world's best buddies. I L U.
A: "if u really wanna thanks, then say it to Parth and Rd." and she bitted her tongue. I looked her with confusion.
Me: " Arpu, what really happened in the mall?"
A: "actually Parth, Jiggy and Rd were in the mall. Parth said he will select dress for me. I agreed. while he was selecting dress, by mistake Rd fell on a chair. For balance, he grabbed this dress which was hanging on a stand in front of him. He got up and passed that dress to me. Then Parth said he will select dress for me. And they began arguing on that. For stopping their small fight, I said I will give this to Kausthu. Then Jiggy said that he already selected one dress for her. So I decided..."
Me: so u decided to give this dress for me."
K: "but the dress in nice."
Me: "and it is selected by RSS. My arch enemy."
A: "he didn't select that..."
K: he picked that.
Me: "one minute, y Parth and Jiggy will select dress for u?"(they kept mum) I'm asking u guyz(they looked each other) that means, the boys called u for shopping. I'm being fool, I think..."
A:" no Sanyu, Parth called me. Then Kausthu and me thought, by this we can select dress for u. even if he wouldn't have asked me, Kausthu and me already decided that we will take u for shopping."
Me: "that means, u and parth, kasuthu and jiggy r in relation. Right??"
A: no,no, not yet.
Me: that means, may happen in future.
A: I don't know.(she rolled her eyes, turned head away from me and began flushing.)
Me: hey Arpu, u didn't notice one thing.
A: what?
Me: Kausthu is not denying that she in relation with jiggy.
K: i...me... us...
Me: us??hm.. ur love story progressed that much!!!!!
K:u r too much Sanyu.
Me: I know that. Anyway, y u guyz didn't tell me these b4?
A: baby, don't get it in wrong way. U know that parth and jiggy are in Rd's gang. And Rd is ur enemy. How we r supposed to say this to u?
Me: arrey, I only have enmity to Rd. not for his all friends. Btw, u agreed that u r relation.
K and A looked each other and slightly punched on my tummy. I giggled. And we reached our hostel.
When I was trying to catch some sleep, I just revised the whole day. I liked the dress that is picked by Rd. Arpu and Kausthu's love life. I'm happy for them. Parth and Jiggy are good guys. The only drawback is they r friends of Rd. arggg . y I'm thinking abt him?? I better sleep now.

Thursday, the fresher's party.
I was scared. Both Arpu and Kausthu decided to enter the venue with me. But I said:" I'm ok. U guyz, go and spend time with ur lover boys."
A:" not this time Sanyu. U r nervous and it is written over here (pointing to my forehead), here(to my trembling hands), and every inch of ur body.
K: " we r staying with u. that's final."
Me: "but guyz..."
A: shut up Sanyu, for god's sake. One more word, I will slap u. u got that."
I nodded. I felt sadness and happiness. Sad- for my buddy's lover boys. Happy- bcz my bffs preferred me over their love. I looked at Arpu and Kausthu. Arpu side hugged me.
Just then, some boys entered the party. All other students are making way and greeted him as if he is a Prince.
