Chapter -12

Rd was shocked to know the most painful moments of Sanyu's life. They were sitting on a bench in the foundation. The kids and old peoples were nowhere to be seen as it's almost late evening. He was staring at her whether she was looking at the far end of the garden but at nothing particular. Her face was blank and her lips pressed in a thin line. He slowly intertwined his fingers with her to hold her hands which she reciprocate.

Both were sitting there for few moments without speaking a word when her phone started to ring, flashing the name Parth'. Sanyu pick her phone up by her right hand as her left hand was still occupied holding Rd's hand.

While she was speaking, Rd was constantly looking at her as if he want to know what's going on in her mind, what is going on in her heart, what she is thinking right now. It's like the most important job for him to know her inner turmoil.

She finished her call and turned towards him only to welcome by his intense gaze, which was quite unusual for Sanyu. She shrugged her thoughts aside and shook him.

S : Chalo, Parth and everyone is waitng, bohot der ho gayi hai.

Rd : Haan chalo.

S : Main sabko bye bolke aati hun.

Rd : Ok, main car leke aata hun, tab tak tum millo sab se.

Sanyu stood up and then she realized that both are holding hands strongly. Both looked at their intertwined hands and instantly took their hands. Sanyu moved towards the building while Rd goes to the parking area, but both are thinking the same.

Rd/Sanyu's POV :

What's wrong with me? How can I hold his hand that too so tightly? Kya sooch raha hoga/hogi mere barein mein? You are a stupid Rd/Sanyu. Par usne bhi to pakkadke rakkha/rakkhi tha/thi...But y I'm missing his/her touch?

Rd' Pov :

I think I like her touch...touch, not only touch I like to be with her, her smile, her antics, itz cute...but tu to usse hate karta tha na Randhir...haan to kya huya, abhi we are friends... And she is different. I like ur friendship Miss Sanyukta Agarwal.

Sanyu's Pov :

Nehi, nehi sanyu kya sonch rahi hai...bekaar ki ye battein dimag mein mat laa...he is just my colleague, nothing else, haan sirf colleague hi hai...par koi aapne colleague thodi na past ke barien mein batayegi, haan toh thik hai, sirf friend hai, bus nothing more than that.U r only my friend Mr. Randhir Singh Shekhawat.

After few minutes both are in the car. Rd in driving sit while Sanyu was sitting engrossed in her thoughts. But Rd was constantly glancing towards her. He wait for few good mintes and decided to interrupted her thought process.

Rd : Ummm, Waise tum yahan roz aati ho?...

When he didn't get any answer he looked towards her and find that she was still busy in her important work, thinking.

Rd : Sanyu...Sanyu...Miss Sanyukta Agarwal ( lil bit high tone to get her attention)

S : Haan...tum kuch keh rahe the?

Rd : Yehi ki mein itna bhi bura nehi hun kit um mujhse baat bhi na karo...ya phir u r still angry with me?

S : Aare nehi nehi...main bus kuch sooch rahi thi. Tum bolo kya bol rahe the?

Rd : I was asking kit um yahan daily aati ho?

S : nehi Sunday ko aur holidays mein aati hun. I Like their company.

Rd : And they also like u alot.

S : ya I know.( Smiling genuinely)

Rd : It's strange, yahan koi aane bhi nehi chahata hai par tum aati ho.

S : Kyun ki in sab ka jog ham hai I know that. Life ke kisi bhi stage mein koi aapna na hone ka dukh wohi jante hai jinke pass koi aapna nehi hota hai. Hum sab k life mein kuch bhi hota to tum daudke aapne aapno ke pass hito jaate the, jo humse pyaar karte hai, har bar, harm or pe hume ehsas dilate hai ke there are always with us...chahe koi bhi ho, parents, family, friends. Har kisike life mein koi na koi hota jarur hai unke kushiya aur gham bante ke liye. But in logo ke pass ek dusre ka alwa koi nehi hai. Yahan old peoples are guardian of the kids and the kids are their child. But ye realtion bohot pure hai. Inn sab ka dil connection hai ekdusre se. I love their bonding.

Rd : Hmmm.

S : Chalo bato bato mein ghar bhi aagaya.

Rd : pata hi nehi chala kaise itni jaldi ghar aagaya...ok chalo main chalta hun.

S : chalta hun kya? Come inside, dineer karke jao.

Rd : Nehi, I'm tired now, phir kabhi aayunga. Tumhe manane ke chakkad mein bohot bhag daur karna pada mujhe.

S : Toh maine kahan tha?

Rd : Nehi, mere dilne kahan tha.

S : Kya?

Rd : Kuch nehi, chalo bye, gd night.

S : Gd night.

Sanyu turned to open the door but Randhir held her hand. She look at him asking her "What' through her eyes. Instead of answering her, suddenly he hugged her, making her surprised.

S : Randhir... ( putting her hand on his back lightly)

Rd : Don't worry Sanyukta, sab kuch thik jayega. Just trust yourself. Main hamesha tumahare sath hoon aur rahunga, I promise.

S : I know Randhir. Thank You.

Both broke the hug. Sanyu came out of the care and started to walk towards the house but stopped and turned and waved her hands at him, he smile and waved back. He keeps looking at her retreating figure until she entered the house and then he drove back to his house.

Next day

Randhir was driving his car and on the way to office. His face glows more than usual making him more handsome. And his everlasting smile is constant. He stopped his car at the signal. He switched on the radio and a song started.

Aadat ho gayi

Uski sauhbat ho gayi]

He turned his face towards his left side and there were Sanyukta sitting beside him smiling to him. Both were smiling and staring each other but his trance broke by car's horn which was exactly behind his car and telling him to move on and the signal turns green already. He turned towards front to see the signal and then again turn his left only to find the place beside him is empty. He shook his head on him stupid imagination and drove towards office.

Dil ki aafat ho gayi

While driving he saw her on the road side telling him to stop the car for a ride but when he stopped and looked back he again found on one there.

This lines was making his heart more happy as he also agree with the lyrics. He felt that this song is just made for him.

In their cabin both were working when he felt that a petal falls on him. He look towards his side and saw that Sanyukta is playing with flowers petals throwing them in air. He also started to do so and at last he took a flower and bend down on his knees in front of her.

He came back to his sense when a peon shook him. He take look of the room and found her still busy with the lappy and file. He bit his tongue and move towards his earlier position.

At lunch time both were sitting on a table in an restaurant in lunch hour. Randhir was eating less and staring at her while her full concentration was in the food and the project about which she was talking. She was eating when a food particle stuck near her lips.

[Jaaga na soya hoon main

Musafir khoya hoon main

Kuch sarfira sa hoon main

Budhu zara sa hoon main]

He indicates her to remove that but she fails to understand the exact position. Without getting any other option he remove the piece resulting his fingers brushed with her lips slightly and both look at each other and caught in an eyelock.

Sanyu broke the trance first but the uneasiness was broken by him. On the way to office both were silently reminiscing the previous encounter.

S : Wow!!! Abb ye baki tha, Great.

Rd : I'm trying na Sanyukta, have patience.

S : Patience? Really Randhir...hum pichle adhe ghantse yahan khade hai aur tum iss khatara car ko thik karne ki koshish kar rahe ho, jo ki bekaar lag raha hai abb and now no network and more over there is no one to help us.

Rd : Toh maine kahan tha short cut se chalne ke liye? It was you who insist me to take this road.

S : Haan kyunki yahan traffic kam hoti hai, you stupid.

Rd : I'm stupid? I'm stupid? Itni hi akaal hai toh aayo na ye car thik karo, baree engineer bante firte ho, do this.

S : Kyun ho gaya tumhara try? Tumhari engineering tay tay fish ho gayi? Hato, let me see then.

Randhir step aside to give her some space to fix the car which has some major prob. After some time she also got frustrated.

S : Jaise tum waise tumhari car, KHATARA.

Rd : Nach na jaane angaan tera...kya baat hai, khud ko kuch aata nehi dosh mera aur mere car ka.

S : Tum se bhi nehi huya ye thik.

Rd : ( took a deep breath) Ok fine, ye thik hone se raha, aab koi or option soche ghar wapas jaane ka aaj ki aaj hi?

S : Kaise jayenge, network nehi hai, koi car nehi hai aur ye aajeb si road.

Rd : Lets try, kahin na kahin network mil jayega, search.

Both were searching for network walking in several direction but seems like their luck is in no mood to help them. While searching Sanyu stand on the middle road and try to connect the call.

Randhir's back was facing Sanyu and he was also busy with his mobile. He feels some uneasiness and turned towards Sanyu only to be horrified.
