Three months later- TR home, taani in her room , door knock and sharon walked in
All fine? Sleeping? She asked in a loud whisper
Taani grinned at her and nodded pointing to the crib placed next to the bed , sharon
walked to the crib looked at the sleeping child and sighed looks perfect while sleeping!
And not screaming and looked at the baby from different angles
Kya hua sharon bhabhi?
Nothing And sharon sat on the bed , looked at taani s happy face slight plump ,actually
swayams mom said something ...and stopped and then looking at taani s face knowing
nothing would dampen her happiness said she said the baby reminds her of your mom,
dekhne mein nahin but generally ...tumhe bhi yahin lagtha hain? taani smiled and didnt
answer, still smiling! three months and your smile s just not going haina? Taani s smile
widened ,sharon smiled back in her happiness
The door knock and then reys mom head peeped in whispered sleeping? Taani nodded
She walked in followed by reys dad as well, they peeped into the crib and mom stood
near the crib adjusting the perfect quilt while reys dad gave taani a cover and sat on the
bean bag saying here, tumhe jo karna hain decide karo but i just wanted to say that you
can join back when you want , the project will begin complete field work from next
month onwards ...and stopping for a second ...im being selfish taani but i want you back
mera kaam easy hojaayega and i really enjoyed working with you smiled at her
affectioantely
Arre look at him and he kept telling me mujhe tumhe blackmail ya force nahin karna
chahiye...reys mom shook her head at the husband ...but why are you asking her? Rey
has already told you she wont aaur wo bhi loudly ...loud enough for the whole world to hear
Why will he decide ? Sharon asked a little loudly while reys mom
shhhed and pointed to the crib
Door knock and swayam peeped in all ok? Everyone inside nodded and he walked in
followed by tauji and his mom who went straight to taani and sat next to her , kissed
her on the side of the head giving her a side hug saying teek ho? Taani smiled at her and
at her tauji who had gone to sit on another chair...wo teek hain? Pointing to the baby
And stroked her hair again, adjusted her earring saying khaana...
Taani held her hand and said taayji stop na, main teek hoon, teen mahine hogaye hain!
Babys fine im fine sab teek hain ab tho guilty feel karna band karo
Tum nahin samjhogi taani, i should have been here, tumhaari maa...she ll never forgive
me and taani sighed , exchanged a look with sharon who rolled her eyes (and swayam
frowned at them)put her arms around her taayjis neck and said main batadoongi unhe ki
aap sab the mere saath,aapne mera perfectly kahyal rakha ... now stop ...pleeeaaassse
eee and made a funny pleading look...the three women smiled at her affectionately
Tauji also smiling commented that wont do, zindagi bar yeh khosthi rahegi apne aapko...
but tell me tum jodhpur aarahin ho? And then looking around to see reys dad and mom
asked or are you staying here and getting back to work?
Taani looked around at all of them- at her tauji s simple questioning look , at reys dads
hopeful look , at reys mom s curious look and at taayji s not necessary now look, at
swayams now whatrey doesnt want you to go look and then at sharons damned if you
do and damned if you dont look and smiled at sharon ...sharon grinned back at her
Door knock, loud noise and vicky head peeped in asking can we come in? And someone
pushed him from out and the whole lot fell inside and started talking all at once - wth,
arre u pushed ...not me ...tum log ...kab ...shhh ...sleeping ..achha so rah...mujhe dekhna
tha...mera selection tha wo dress...and then the baby screamed loudly making all of
them look guiltily at one another
And taani picking up the child in her arms rocked it while sharon shooed everyone out
making more loud noise

Late in the night
Taani lying down on the bed and rey holding the baby in his arms and rocking it and
then placed it in the crib carefully ,kissed it and turned to see taani smiling at him..he
moved to her side, lying down next to her on the side said dont be jealous and kissed
her on the lips ,one more and kissed her again little more firmly his hand on her waist
and moved his head to the crook of her neck nuzzling her
She smiled and putting her arms around him said main jealous nahin hoon aap ho..he
lifted his head up immediately
Haan hoon ...more than 20 hours of the day tum uske saath ho he complained and she
laughed when he placed his hand on her mouth saying shhh pointing to the sleeping
child and taani laughed more looking at him

Rey she placed her hand on his cheek comfortingly and said forget it rey, kitne baar
wahin yaad karoge he kissed her hand on his cheek and bending over her started placing
small kisses on her neck as her arms went around his neck and she closed her eyes
enjoying the feeling of his warmth on her, of his warm lips on her skin when he suddenly
stopped and still bending over her said taani waise im angry with you
She smiled and without replying pulled him closer by the neck and gave his earlobe small
kiss making him lift his head up, move slightly away from her and say im still angry, i cant
believe you did that
She sighed and said im sorry , mujhe aapko pehle batana chahiye tha but sabne saath
mein poochliya tho i just ...rey i know aapne mana kiya tha but i also know ki aapne
mana kyun kiya tha and ...i ...i think ...i think main karpaaoongi...rey, dad needs some
help and i know i can manage
But you never wanted to taani...phir se
Rey, she cut him, aapko pata hain meri mom housewife thi? He stopped to listen and
after she left ghar mein koi rehtha nahin tha and i ...really missed her.. her voice soft, no
tears in her eyes , comfortably talking she continued and i always wanted to be like her ,
shayad isiliye main itni stubborn thi ki mujhe kaam nahin karna hain but i ...i now know
that aisa nahin hain...main ghar mein rehke bhi kaam karsakthi hoon aur kaam karthe
bhi ghar mein rehsakthi hoon...i like it rey
But see sweetheart, tumne d3 ka finances aur investment plans ke bhi responsibility li
hain, it was my stupid mistake i shouldnt have asked you that but we needed someone urgently a month back and the way tumne aashi ki finances ... he said slightly guilty
Rey aapko mujhe expalnations dene ki zaroorat hain? He stopped...d3 jitna aapka hain
utna mera bhi hain...rey its not much, both of it is not full time...

She smiled , kissed the tip of his nose cutting of his sentence and said smiling half
seriuosly half flirtingly jab tak aap mere saath ho mujhe kuch bhi difficult nahin lagega
forcing him to smile back at her and he sighed , kissed her again saying this is not done , i
told the whole world loudly you wont work again, ab mom mujhe ithi tease karnewaali
hain ! She laughed her tinkling laugh
Shhh he frowned and looked at the baby , sleeping ...he turned to her , she had this
apprehensive look on her face , he raised his eyebrows asking what?
Ummm...aap mujhpe hasoge nahin? He wondered what it was and shook his head ...
main..i wanted to learn dance ...phir se...matlab and he burst out laughing making her
face fall in disappointment, she knew it - he was going to laugh of course but then itna ..
..rey! Itna funny kya hain? And then as he still laughed pushed him off her and sat up , her
face in a scowl ...he fell on his back on the bed and pulled her , she resisted irritated at
his laugh but he pulled her forcibly making her fall on his chest and then before she
could escape , enveloped her in his arms and still with a laugh in his voice said why? Still
jealous? thinking the little girl in her never goes
She hit him though with difficulty as he had her locked , he laughed at her irritated look
and said u still look cute and kissed her nose, she tried to move back but he kissed her
again on the cheek and then on the eye and then pulling her up , on her lips ...she stoppe
d resisting and kissed him back, his hands caressing her back, hers on his chest...she
pulled back from the kiss and met his eye and then looking questioningly tho? No reply...

karpaayi tho ...she looked at him anxiously
Tho you try again taani and again...till you are happy about it ...dance khudh ke liye hota hain, dil se hotha hain, dont think of theworld , of the team or even mere baare mein ,im sure you ll be able to do it, you should have done this long time back he smiled
and she smiled at him her anxiety reducing
And kissed him again in gratitude with love her fingers in his hair , her hair falling over his
face as his grip around her waist tightened and he pressed her closer , his fingers tracing
her spine over the night dress, his fingers moved inside the top she wore touching her
smooth skin kissing her still , her breath in gasps... he stopped as she moved to take a
breath still looking at each other and then
WAAAHH
They sprang apart and ran to the crib , rey first and lifted the screaming baby up and put
it on his shoulder , the baby continued to scream as he tried rocking it
Rey give me...
Why? Abhi abhi tho feed kiya tha na...wait ... I can manage...he snapped at her dismissively
Taani frowned , went and sat on the edge of the bed ...and waited...a few more screams
rey came and gave her the babyreluctantly..she took the child and held it close to her
breast softly shhh shhhing and then recognising her warmth , the familiar smell and the
gentle rocking , the cry reduced and the baby turned face towards her bosom and slowly
fell asleep again as she hummed tunelessly softly
Rey who stood watching the child falling asleep came and sat next to her and looked at
the now peacefully sleeping child in taani s arms and at the peaceful expression on taani
s face ...he felt a sudden surge of love for both of them and side hugged taani
whispering she always knows its you , she looked up at him and catching the love in his
eyes smiled , looked at the child and felt complete - this was her world
