Yes, it is. Burnt dal also signifies that Arnav is jealous, because kuch jal raha hai. Burnt dal also signifies how passion burns and sizzles between the two of them. The dal is thus the most important component.

Arnowji has a lot of pent up chotey things. So he locked the door. He didn't trust himself enough that he wouldn't launch back to where she is. 😉

And here we had been cursing Dal Roti and talking of indigestion. 😆 I'll never look at the Dal Roti with the same bhaav again.
