Thanks a lot guys for such a beautiful response to the prologue.

Finally got bit time to update and here is the First Part

A New Start

Randhir Singh Shekhawat, 29 years old, A quite successful businessman, owner of Shekhawat Construction Company with great personality...who knew just some things in life, how to turn things into his favor, how to make money out of losing projects...a complete business man...People were afraid to compete him knowing he doesn't know how to lose, he is born to win only...

But each coin has two sides...

This was his brighter side, but second side was...he was broken... completely broken man from inside after death of his loving wife Ankita...

He had met Ankita ten years ago in college, they fell in love soon and after completion of college, Randhir joined his father's business to take it to new heights and with the consent of both the families, they got married very soon...

Both the families were happy with their marriage, life was going wonderful for them... business was expanding as well as their love... But suddenly everything changed, when while giving birth to Pihu, , Ankita's condition was worsened and she had expired...

That day broke Randhir Singh Shekhawat badly, it was Ankita, who was burnt to ashes, but with that all the happiness, all the feelings and all wishes of Randhir had also burnt to ashes...after that day, no one had seen him smiling.

Sanyukta was Ankita's younger sister...she was seventeen when Ankita and Randhir got married, like all normal girls, she too had dreams of having some antics with her jeej... some fun, some naughtiness with her jeej, but it never happened...as he was so much reserved with all...talked just to point, smiled just when required...and moreover considered Sanyukta as kid, as she was just a kid at seventeen even being youngest and pampered by Ankita and parents at home...

Moreover Randhir was so much busy in his business and Ankita that Sanyukta and Randhir could never get along...it was just hi, hello relation between them...

After Ankita's sudden death... and moreover new born Pihu, Randhir was all lost for long not caring for Pihu even...that was the time, when Sanyukta handled Pihu with lots of love with help of her mother Anju and Randhir's mother Renuka...Randhir was so much engrossed in his saddened word that he didn't care about Pihu even...

Anju had offered Renuka to give them Pihu forever, so that they may think about Randhir's second wedding so that Pihu will not be a hurdle for Randhir's future as he was just twenty five at that time, this was the moment bringing Randhir back to reality knowing Pihu's importance as Ankita's last gift to him and he came back of his trauma...he declared Pihu will be staying with him only...and he will never marry again...

So Sanyukta and Anju used to see Pihu at Randhir's home...and somehow Renuka, Sanyukta and Anju were trying to fulfill Pihu's need of a mother...though Randhir and Sanyukta still had quite a little interaction...if there was any , that was just due to Sanyukta's stupidities in their living room, in kitchen or some breakages here and there while playing with Pihu...which Randhir used to ignore...as somewhere he respected her as she was trying to fill the void in Pihu's life...

But being only son of Shekhawat's, they too had some dreams for Randhir, they also wanted his family complete again, they wanted him to be happy again, they wanted him to marry again if not for him, then for pihu...to give him mother as Sanyukta too was at marriageable age now and Pihu will be all alone...moreover suddenly Renuka had heart stroke... Then she pressurized Randhir to get married...and he had to agree somehow...

After a search of three months, Shekhawat's and Aggarwal's had finalized Vidhushi for Randhir, who was manager in Randhir's company... Randhir had nothing to do with that, he just needed a mother for Pihu...

And in a small family function, Vidhushi and Randhir were engaged...

Sanyukta was also trying to get along with Vidhushi though she didn't like her but she knew, Vidhushi was going to be Pihu's mom after few days.

But it was the Diwali Party at Randhir's home, when Agarwal's were also present with Shekhawat's and Sanyukta found Vidhushi scolding Pihu badly just for dropping a bit food on her...

Sanyukta had taken herself granted for Pihu in last four years , she had been quite protecting for Pihu...She immediately confronted Vidhushi for her behavior and with her replies, Sanyukta found Vidhushi quite cunning..

Five days had passed to that incident and Sanyukta was still thinking about same...

Finally she took a decision... Much for the shock of both Shekhawat's and Aggarwal's and biggest shock for Randhir... When she asked both the families that she wanted to marry Randhir...

Everyone was shocked, as no one from the families had ever thought so...due to difference in their nature, prospect towards life and moreover Age...

Randhir Paused for a moment...humm...he nodded... Ok, if you have decided then I am also in for this...but one condition...nothing...he stressed...means nothing will change between us after this wedding except you will be my wife officially for our families and outer world just sharing space with me as a ...roommate...but still I give you a chance to think... Because I don't want you to regret later on or feel frustrated in a useless relation...Saying Randhir left from there...

Sanyukta thought for few minutes...and she too followed Randhir for dinner...

As all had settled on the dining table...when Sanyukta coughed a bit taking everyone's attention...

Mom, dad...i have made final decision...She whispered...

All looked at her in curiosity...

My decision is still same...I want to marry Randhir jeej...she paused...i mean...Randhi... She kept quite now knowing what suffix she should use now...

Randhir looked at her with usual blank expression and their eyes met for a nano second...and she was sure he was not so happy with her decision... But she looked at Pihu, who was jumping in joy when her nani, i.e. Anju told her Sanyu is going to be her mom from Mausi...

Both the families were happy with the decision as they had shared quite an understanding bond in last six years...in Ankita's presence and even after her death...

Finally as decided, next week, Randhir and Sanyukta got married in a very small family function followed by court marriage to complete the official formalities and it was evening by which all the rituals were over and Sanyukta was brought to Shekhawat mention ...In all these hours, Randhir had not looked at Sanyukta even once neither he talked to her for a single moment...

As he entered the home, Pihu came running to her and hugged her tightly... Mausi...

No Pihu, now call her Mom...Renuka spoke with tears in her eyes...

Mom? Pihu too had tears in her eyes, Sanyukta picked her in her arms and hugged her tightly...

Welcome beta... Renuka and harsh took her in, there was nothing new to Sanyukta there, Pihu was chatting with her continuously as usual and she was calling all her friends telling, finally she got her mom...Sanyu Mom...

Randhir was quiet since morning just working as a machine...without any emotions...

As the dinner was over, Randhir went out for a walk while Renuka asked Sanyukta to go to Randhir's room. for a second, Sanyukta's heart beat stopped... In his and her sis's room...how?

She had been in that room numerous times but four year ago , when Ankita was there, then she used to stay over here and both she and Ankita used to make Randhir go out of room sleeping both sisters in that room, but after Ankita's death, she had never been there even for a single time...

She gulped the saliva in her mouth and took heavy steps towards the room that was at first floor...

Dadi, main bhi mom ke sath soungi... Pihu shouted...

A sense of relaxation passed through Sanyu... come Pihu, we will be together...she called her...

No beta...not today... Renuka picked Pihu in her arms... aaj dadi mamma ki tabiyat thik nahi hai... Ap mere pass ruk jao na.. Renuka made a puppy face in front of Pihu...

Ok sweetu dadi... main apki care karungi...Pihu kissed Renuka.., sorry sweetu mom... hum kal sath rhenge... Pihu spoke to Sanyukta...she was used to call everyone, Sweetu dadi, sweetu nani, sweetu mausi...as Sanyukta had taught her...

Sanyukta sighed and again walked slowly towards Randhir's room...she slowly opened the door.

She was a bit relaxed seeing there was no decorations in the room... it was same as she had seen four years ago...there was a large portrait of Randhir and Ankita on backside of bed and their small portraits from their honeymoon, their outings, from Ankita's pregnancy and many more...and if anything new was there, that was Pihu's portrait just in front wall of bed.

She looked all around and tears rolled over her face...i am sorry di..but I am not here to steal your love...i am here just for our Pihu... Saying she caressed Ankita's picture...the gate of the room opened slowly and she knew who may be there...

It was Randhir as expected who didn't notice her presence even there in the room as she was standing in one corner...

He went to his Cupboard, slowly opened it and took his night clothes starting changing it...

Listening noises, Sanyukta turned and saw towards Randhir who had removed his shirt by then...

Haw...)... suddenly she shouted turning her face away...

Randhir picked his face and found Sanyukta standing there on the other side of bed...

Stupid girl...he muttered wearing his shirt back and moving to the washroom.

Stupid? She looked in anger...you should know, there is a girl in the room...spoke in lower voice.

I forgot...he shrugged his shoulders...as I am not used to see anyone in my room except Pihu sometimes...and e moved towards washroom...

How can he call me stupid at his silly mistake? Sanyukta was still blabbering... But any benefit of all this, he is same since years...main to hamesha hi inhe stupid hi lagi hun, ab kya nayi baat ho gyi? Speaking nonstop, she picked her own night clothes and went to change as he came back out of washroom without giving him any look..

As she came back after changing, Randhir was lying on bed checking at his mobile...she looked around there were single sofas in the room, a working table and chair in the room. But no other place, she could sleep...she sighed a bit and wet near bed...

Randhir looked towards her an without a word, he moved completely to the right end of the bed giving her indication that left side belongs to her.

Without any word, she had laid on the bed, took the blanket trying to sleep, but not for a single second she was able to forget where she was lying and with whom...

Randhir switched off lights and laid next to her keeping himself on the right corner of the bed. while she was in extreme left corner of the bed.. Practically the space between them was enough for two more persons to lay, but they both were struggling with strange silence and strange feeling between them.

Randhir sighed and spoke to himself... Forget someone else is in the room...he closed his eyes and tried to sleep...

But Sanyukta was feeling so much strange...she turned to right... oh no...its facing him...she turned left, to right,...to left...to right...

Stop it Sanyukta... Finally he broke silence...For god sake stop fidgeting ... You are making not only yourself but even me so much uncomfortable...I have already told you, nothing is going to change with this marriage, so please behave normally...

Yes...she spoke with difficulty...yes jeej...

Jeej? Still? Randhir was a bit irritated...

I..i am sorry...yes...Sanyukta paused, what should she call him now?

Randhir... You may call me Randhir, that will be better for you to save yourself from public embarrassment if you call me jeej there...

Yes Randh... Randhir... Word came out with quite difficulty from her mouth...

Good night now and please sleep properly...I have a lot work in the morning...

Randhir sighed... This girl can't change ever...he sighed turning his face away from her calling it a night.
