I enjoyed the rest of the chapter as well, but my heart was stuck on this para. It's so beautifully describes their relationship. I honestly have no words to say how amazing it is.

She closed her eyes as warm tears fell out. Even after all these years, remembering the separation still hurt.

I was literally on the edge of my seat expecting to know what happened but yet again you left me hanging😆

Oh the dreaded cliffhanger we writers love so much. I understand that it's required to make sure your readers come back for more. But as a reader? This is shit sucks...🤢😆
