CHAPTER 5: LAMB IN LION'S DEN

Khushi would have refused(even after facing her chachi graima's wrath) if any told that the world is nothing,but now she wont. Day by day she could sense some kinda emptiness in her life. In the morning as usual she will go to work (every day puntual in time) ,then face her boss's painfull words. Its been a weak since she joined work , to her fortunate time her boss flew to malaysia to sign a deal with ALVIRA Designs, the nxt day of her joining the office . So she was spared of his wrath, But lavanya was there to fill it.Lavanya...Lavanya Khasyap ...Model at AR,kinda rude and money minded ,always at the back of asr only for money. Khushi woke up with a tint of enjoyness and fear on her face , both bcoz her boss is arriving today. And she quickly got ready in a light blue salwar kameez. She searched in her cubboard and took her mom's saree where she hid that money which her boss threw on her face before , and left for office , not knowing abt the hell that is going to welcome her with opened gates.As usual she reached office on time and straightly went to her desk. After settling her things , she took a notepad, pen and left to report at lavanya's desk.But there she couldnt find lavnaya and hence went to Aman and asked him wat should she do ?? .For which he told her to ask ASR.

With shaky legs she marched towards her boss cabin. After knocking the door and getting his response she entered.

"Sir my work " asked khushi ,not showing fear in the voice.

"Oh were u not doing anything these days ? " ...before khushi could say anything he conitnued..." i know u r here for trapping anyone..now as to compensate ur previous days u gonna do overtime" ...said he and added " now go to aman and get the ALVIRA group file".

Khushi couldnt say anything as he didnt even considered her as even as a furniture there.With hatred filled heart she went to aman and got that file and gave it to her boss. And after that Arnav didnt even gave a second to khushi to rest . Even during lunch he assigned tasks for her and before she could complete that he would finish his lunch and not bothering abt khushi , he would add tasks not even letting her to breathe. And finally it was 5 pm, every one started to leave except few and again khushi went to Arnav and asked wats her work. Arnav was bit suprised ,but hid it immediately and gave her orders. Khushi did her work sincerely but often her empty stomach would grumble and disturb her. But some how she managed to work , and finished it and looked around only to find the office empty, but still he was there. She decided that its right time to give his money and so took his money and the file which she worked and walked to his cabin.

"Sir ..here is wat u asked for " said khushi and handed the file to him.

"ok . u may leave " said he ,but on seeing her standing still he asked "what??" ..

Khushi slowly placed that pack on his table , with a confused and annoyed face he looked at her . "ur money sir , i kept it as such to give it back to u" said khushi and was abt to leave the room , his voice stopped her.

"wait" said he angrily , "wats this new drama ?? ,here take it back " ,added he.

"I dont own things which is not mine" said khushi.

"oh I see, ur new drama is nice , u may leave" said he in a tone that was no less than an ordering voice. Khushi left his cabin , took her bag and walked out.

Here Arnav called some one and told "Simar I will go as per ur idea , tell them to start the work tonight and remember that nobody should come to know abt it" .

WAT IS GOING ON ????
