Drops of tears fell from her eyes as she thought of the beautiful memories she had spent with her best friend. Mutual trust had always been present between them but he had broken the tight bounds of trust. Ever since her childhood, she had always hated people who lied and he had always respected her feelings towards this matter. This understanding between them had been the string that had attached them together. His one lie had torn them apart and forgiveness was not an option. While she was dwelling on the sweet memories, she heard the doorbell ring. With one swift movement, she wiped her tears away and walked towards the door to open it. She opened it and immediately regretted her decision. Standing in front of her was Rey, her best friend, with a bouquet of red roses. Without even asking for her permission, Rey walked into the familiar house and faced her. He bends down on his knees and asked for her forgiveness. "Mujhe maaf kardo Taani. Maine ye sab purposely nahi kia tha. I promise ke mein dobara galti nahi karonga." Fresh tears formed in Taani's eyes and she silently walked away from the sight of him. Knowing that Taani is a tough nut to crack, Rey as usual started to think of numerous ideas to bring a smile on her face and receive her forgiveness. He could never bear tears in her eyes because she was the love of his life. Although he had never confessed his love for her, he had always been by her side, protecting her from every problem. Now that he was the reason for her unhappiness, he had to make it up to her.
*Music Starts*
She was sitting in the bed, irritated with the fact that he was roaming around in her house. With a sigh, she decided to just ignore him and listen to some soothing music. As she was searching for her earphones, she felt his presence behind her and she turned to see him really close to her. His intense gaze was making her uncomfortable and she quickly turned with her back facing him. Rey took a blindfold and tied it around her eyes. She started to protest but he placed his finger on her lips, stopping her from talking any further.

Her breath was starting to increase as his finger was still prominent on her lips. Noticing that she was feeling slightly uncomfortable, Rey removed his finger from her lips. She was momentarily silent as she was still in a hazy state but she snapped back into her senses when she felt his hand wrap around her waist. He pulled her closer and traced her cheek with his nose, forming a blush on her rosy cheeks. He stopped teasing her and in a fluid movement, he picked her up in his arms.

Confusion was clearly present on her face but he refused to give her an explanation. Rey walked towards his car and placed her on the passenger seat. Taani tried to remove the blindfold from her eyes but was yet again stopped by Rey from doing so. He sat on the driver's seat and started the car, taking her to a destination that was unknown to her. The ride was a silent one but thankfully it lasted only for a while. Rey stopped the car and opened the door of his side. Treating Taani like a child, he undid her seatbelt and picked her up in his arms, again.
*Music*
Anger and irritation was clearly visible on Taani's face, because she was brought to an unknown place forcefully and wasn't even allowed talk. She heard the sound of a door opening and suddenly felt warmth surrounding her. Not wanting to, Rey put her down gently and held her from her shoulders. He steered her towards the middle of the room and wrapped his arms around her waist. He leaned his head into the crook of her neck, creating havoc in her body.

He removed his hands from her waist and finally took off the blindfold from her eyes. Brightness shined in her eyes and she covered her eyes, adjusting to the change of light. She lowered her eyes and the sight before her brought tears in her eyes. In front of her was everything she loved and treasured in this world. Her favorite chocolates, food, drinks, desserts, and soft toys were all arranged in a beautiful and romantic candlelight dinner. Shock consumed Rey as he saw tears form in her eyes because he thought this would be a delightful sight for her. "Mujhe maaf kardo Taani. I didn't know that tumhe ye sab pasand nahi aayga." Taani looked towards him and flung herself into his arms.

Rey's level of shock increased as he was confused by her actions. Taani broke the hug and cupped his cheeks in her hands. "Rey, this is the best gift anybody as ever given to me. Thank you so much." She hugged him once again and this time he wrapped his arms around her back. Breaking the emotional hug, Rey led her towards the table. He pulled the chair out and made her sit in it. Arranging food on one plate, he fed her with his hands while she did the same for him. Eventually they both had finished the plate and Rey bent down on his knees. Silently he asked her hand for a dance and she accepted.

He twirled her around in circles, keeping one of his hands on his back. Rey brought her closer to him and made her dip down, tracing his nose up her neck. He brought her back up and twirled her around, making her back face his chest. He removed some strands of hair from her right shoulder and placed them on her left shoulder. He placed light kisses from the tip of her shoulder, making his way up to her neck. Shyness consumed Taani, and she tried to walk away. Rey gripped her wrist and made Taani face him, with intensity present in his eyes.
*Music*
Not wanting to wait much longer, he confesses his feelings for her. "I love you Taani, I really love you." Tears of happiness form in her eyes and she hugs him. "I love you too, Rey", she confesses. Happiness fills up inside of both of them and Rey twirls Taani around while hugging her. He places her down and cups her cheeks in his hands. He places a kiss on her forehead, knowing that she wasn't ready for the next step. He kisses her on her eyes and cheeks but stops there, not crossing his limits. Touched by his care, Taani gives him approval by kissing him lightly on his cheek. Elated by her trust in him, Rey captures her lips in his and their gentle kiss turns into a passionate one, when she starts to respond.

They break the kiss when they feel short of breath and sit down hugging each other. With their backs supported by the cupboard, they get lost into each other's eyes. They start talking about random things, making each other laugh and having a good time in each other's presence.

Naughtiness and pagalpanti consume Taani and she gets up. Confused by her actions, Rey also gets up and follows her. Taking a pillow from the bed, Taani starts to hit him and tries running away as he replicates her actions. A pillow war begins between them and their laughter lights up the whole room, giving the night a blissful feeling.

Tired from their childish fight, they both hug each other with passion. Rey places one final kiss on her forehead and tiredness eventually takes over them. Putting immense trust in Rey, Taani lays down on the bed and both of them sleep in each other's embrace. That night had changed their lives forever, as they had made their journey from being best friends to being passionate lovers.
