"What?!" both said in unison. Impossible, Sanyukta thought.

"Bullshit. Someone's tricking us," Randhir said confidently, while he still held doubts in himself.

"Ye-" before she could complete, she dropped something from the letter. That's weird, there was nothing in this earlier, she wondered.

"What's that?" Randhir questioned while he picked it up - it was a tiny CD, wrapped with a red ribbon, with a side note stuck on it.

"Let me read it," Sanyukta said as she read aloud..

Surprise! First task,

You will have to perform a dance on this song.

There will be a total of five tasks, which will purify your bond of love. Don't want to do these? Too bad. Destiny's after you.

"God.." Sanyukta said, holding her head in her hand. "We are so not doing this."

"Ye.. Yeah," Randhir agreed, even though he had a sudden urge to actually dance to the song with her.

"Is this a prank?" she looked in his eyes and asked.

"Has to be.. Why'd.. Someone think we're meant to be? Bullshit, yeah," Randhir said, trying to make himself believe the words he had just uttered.

"Hm.." they said and exited the room, only to see two flyers flying to their faces.

Sanyukta removed it and read,

"Annual Prom 2014 - FITE. Must come with partners, special trip for winners, compulsion for the dream team."

"I'll have to rethink about the 'prank' thing, this Eros guy is really messed up, isn't he?" Sanyukta said and proceeded, scared to think about the next day's consequences. She just knew, there was a lot on the plate for her tomorrow.

And it sure as hell was going to include Randhir in it.

Uh Oh.

To. Be. Continued. Yep, I'm making this a Short Story - consisting of around 8- 10 chapters/ parts. :P Loving me yet?

You are such a tease, you seem to be very similar to the quirky Eros in this story, don't you? Totally Faboosh...

I'll love the next chapter? I'm sure I will, the story and the setting is lovely and so is your writing, like you

said it's pretty short, on the other side, I totally get you don't want to it all in one update. Loving it so far. Prom and the dancing sounds promising.
