Again a lovely chapter by all accounts Vats, girl take a bow for writing this bittersweet romantic story that has almost come to an end :( Kudos to you for keeping your characters true throughout the story... Not once have they deviated from their basic nature which is really a feat in itself & yet you managed to spin a love-story around their starkly different personalities & keeping the story interesting throughout deserves a round of applause. 👏 👏

Finally, Arnav & Khushi have achieved the impossible. They have become one & Khushi has become Arnav's completely. I have often wondered throughout the story who is making who mine?? For most part of the story it seemed, on the surface at least, that it was Khushi who was trying to make Arnav hers but I knew better than to question your title & storyline. So I waited for you to reveal why you named the story the way you did when it seemed it should have been named the other way round i.e. Making Arnav Mine. But with this chapter, you have removed all doubts from my mind & I would like to congratulate you on the way you spun the story around in the last chapter & made the title come true...

This indeed has been a journey of Making Khushi Mine by Arnav on his terms and style. Not once during the entire story did I see Arnav budge from his position. It was always Khushi who gave into Arnav's whims & fancies, his coercion, his temper, his tastes, his hobbies, his mood, his insecurities etc. etc. Yet after all that, he did manage to achieve the impossible, something that he had only hoped to achieve but wasn't sure he would one day i.e. to make Khushi his & only his.

But now, Khushi is definitely his & his alone. Gone is from Khushi's life Arnav's numero uno nemesis, her so-called BFF i.e. Rishabh Raichand. She has voluntarily dropped him from her life thereby giving Arnav his ultimate wish that she would only be his & no one else's. Arnav can now breathe a sigh of relief. Phew! Even Khushi's other friends like Lavanya have taken a back seat to him, forget friends, even her own Chachu is now secondary to him. It is truly amazing how he achieved this in light of all the contradictions in their lives 😊

Although Khushi for the first time called Arnav cute in this chapter, to me, he has always been cute if only one looked beneath his rude & angry exterior. Granted he has been more than a difficult person to live with, but he too has certainly made huge contributions towards the success of their marriage, but on his terms & conditions. Taking Khushi's pictures whenever he could & hiding them from her, is perhaps the cutest of all of them 😳

He has from day one taken his responsibility towards Khushi very, very seriously. I am not sure how many of us married women out there can claim this kind of devotion from their husbands. Starting from wanting to foot all of Khushi's bills from the moment they got married, giving her full liberty to spend as much as she wants, equipping her with his credit cards & cash all the time, so that she may never ever run out of money & never hesitate to spend his money is one of the cutest things he has done IMO.

Watching out for her safety is another. Be it during the Surajkund Mela, the kitchen, Chandni Chowk, Dubai and even now in NY. Her safety is his utmost concern. Him worrying over her treatment & keeping tabs on her medicines is just another instance of his care towards her. He may have left her owing to his own insecurities & guilt, but he would never abandon her completely. Taking care of Khushi is so intrinsic to him, he cannot even think otherwise.

Making sure that she is comfortable at all times, feeding her, indulging her wishes, like letting her taste alcohol, letting her help with his tie etc. are all different aspects of Arnav taking care of Khushi. He has been doing nothing but making sure that Khushi gets what she wants. The only thing he had ever wanted in return from her was her exclusive loyalty, which she unfortunately failed to understand in time & paid a huge price for it...

But all's well that ends well :) Arnav has finally accepted his feelings for Khushi, she is his Tesoro & Mi Amore for sure and they are finally together against all odds. Here's a toast from my side to the recently reunited, not so newly wedded couple, a lifetime of peace, happiness & good health!! But I am looking forward to more of their cute romance. 😉
