Sneak Peak of Part 9

Passion to kiss him frantically drove her hands towards his face to hold it and keep him needing her further. She moved the files away from his desk to make some space for this encounter which she knew he can never deny. Afterall they were not home, not in his bedroom which he could claim to be only his WIFE's. Arnav Singh Raizada was too lost in his own world to realise Sheetal's intentions. She was close but this closeness clearly meant nothing to him. Even the thought of kissing someone like Sheetal reminded him the forced Kiss he gave to Khushi, biting her lips and making them bleed in the rain. He fisted his fingers and moved Sheetal away from him. His mobile rang which was the best way for him to ignore every possible feelings in his mind. But the name which flashed on the screen was not of any common person whose calls he keeps getting. Sheetal was surprised too seeing Khushi calling Arnav. She didnt expect this after knowing what happened in Shantivan last night. According to her, the end of ASR and Khushi's relationship was quite close and on the edge. He tried the best he could to avoid attending this call but finally gave up.

He took the call but didnt speak. He didnt wanted it to be like last time when his number was dialed by mistake.

Khushi's breathe hitched with this silence from the other end but she still managed to ask.

Khushi: Arnavv ?

She expected him to at least confirm he was the one who answered the call but he never did that too. All he did was wait to know why she called him.

Khushi: Arnavv my Car broke down at the College Parking. So. Uhh. I mean. Can you pick me? Please.

Her reason was genuine but why did she call him to pick her? "I will be there" is what he replied and cut the call picking his Car keys and moving Sheetal away because she was blocking the exit.
