Part 19

After almost 2 hours she opened her eyes and the first person she saw was Arnav. He was sitting right before her , holding hand and admiring her face. For some seconds she thought this was a dream but when he moved his hand towards her cheeks and caressed with the backside of his finger, she realised its true.

Arnav: Tum theek ho? (You alright?)

He cared for her and she could feel it. She knew what act she tried on herself for ending her life because she cannot see Arnav with someone else. She felt miserable for making Arnav forced to be here.

Arnav: Why did you do all this Khushi? Ending life? You think thats easy? Your mother kept you for 9 months in her stomach, safeguarded you and gave you a new life . What were you thinking that made you take this horrible decision. ?

He was not being angry but asking quite softly to her so that she open ups and tells him everything.

Khushi: I was scared.

Arnav: Scared of what?

Khushi: Losing you. I cannot see you with anyone else Arnav. My Love is not that strong to bear it.

Arnav: Losing me? Did you realise what my condition was seeing you suffering like this and attempting to end your life? I was half dead Dammit. But Khushi what you did with me and my family was not that easy for any one among us to accept easily. You know what had happened with my Maa. She was a victim of such Magic and I couldnt take you doing the same with us. May be you never harmed us but Khushi you broke my heart. You shouldnt have hide it from me. May be I would have understood you if you had told. But hiding things from your life partner is totally wrong. Its equal to showing dishonesty towards him. Never do that again.

Khushi knew her mistake and there was no chance she can ignore Arnav's advise.

Khushi : I wont.

She tried to get up and he helped her making her comfortable with a Pillow behind to support her.

Khushi: I was heartbroken seeing you with some other girl Arnav. I never thought you can forget me so easily. We loved each other no matter what the basics of that love was. Didnt we? Then how could you just forget those things we shared?

He moved her hair away with his fingers kissing her forehead gently. She breathed hard finding it difficult to accept such gestures from him again. Cupping her face in his palms, he looked straight in her eyes.

Arnav: It was a lie. I am not getting married to anyone Khushi.

Khushi: Then who was she? I saw you feeding cake to her. She seemed to be very happy. Why?

Arnav: She is Sakshi, Di's good friend. It was her birthday today and she coincidently met us in the Hotel where me and Di had been for Lunch. Thats all . I never intended to commit someone else when I know I have nothing to share Khushi. We both have united and even if it meant never to marry you, I would prefer staying single for lifetime than allowing any one else to touch me.

She was more than happy with his thoughts. She hugged him tight giving up all her fears.

Khushi: My Love wasnt any magic Arnav. Though it started with it but I know how true it was. I wanted to tell you everything about the magic I tried to cast on you, but I feared this will affect our relationship . I am sorry. PLease forgive me Arnav. Please .

She cried in his arms as he continued soothing her back. He planted a kiss on her forhead and wiped off her tears.

Arnav: Forgiveness is a big word Khushi and it needs lot of courage in the receiving person to change herself. Are you willing to stop all those acts and lead a normal life with me?

Khushi : I do. I always did since the time we both started sharing this relationship. I never tried any more magic after I got you Arnav. Believe me.

She was once again very eager to make him understand she had changed. He stopped her from being so much excited and caught her hands again.

Arnav: I Believe you Khushi. Thats all I always wanted from you. Lets forget this past and think of future. Shall we?

A smile crept on her lips as she hugged him again and this time with so much intensity that Arnav felt each and every inch of her upper body . Shashi and Garima cleared their throats coming inside the room and were really happy seeing Arnav and Khushi mending their relationship back. The hug broke and Khushi was extremely shy for being witnessed in such a position by her parents. GArima came and hugged her asking her a promise never to try such act and she gave it to them instantly. Everything looked calming down now after Arnav forgave his Love Khushi.

Convincing the Raizada's was very difficult. The trust that they had lost on Khushi cannot be gained so easily again especially by Anjali. Though for the sake of her Chotte she did say a Yes for getting them married, she was not much confident if her decision was good or not. She always kept worrying for him and their family though she had seen a considerable change in Khushi and her behaviour in the last few days where this girl didnt just learn their way of living , cooking, basic ethiqutes a Bahu of Shantivan should be having and much more than that.

The marriage was again on track and quickly the pre-marriage rituals were completed. Finally the marriage date was finalised and Khushi was legally tied in relationship with Arnav. The wedding was grand and it was the most happiest moment for this couple who had faced many hurdles to unite. It was quite interesting for Arnav to notice Khushi's nervousness as the night came. Tonight was their Suhaagraat and though they already had consumed their love on the engagement night itself submitting to each other, she was still quite shy because there were numerous ups and downs in their relationship after that. That night she has asked him to mark her as his and tonight she had no such intentions. She wanted him to take her his way and she was ready for everything he asks her.

Anjali unwillingly helped her to sit on the bed and adjusted her Lehnga properly. Khushi could see clearly how Anjali's mood was still the same. It made her feel bad too because she knew how much efforts the family was making in accepting her back in their lives. Before Anjali could walk away, Khushi stopped her and tried to communicate with her.

Anjali retorted.

Anjali: Khushi please. Not tonight. I am really very stressed at the moment.

Khushi : I just want to assure you this time I am not going to lose your faith in me.

Anjali: We will see that in the coming days. My happiness lies in Chotte. Forget us, just keep him happy and we all will be delighted. But dont expect me to change my behaviour towards you anytime soon. I cannot fake accepting you with full heart.

Anjali left and Khushi's mood was bitter again. She wiped her tears but still some remained in her eyes which Arnav noticed after coming inside. He could feel what had happened. He had seen his Sister getting out of the room. He locked the door and she tried to hide her depression from him.

Arnav: Di said something? Even tonight? I cant believe this.

Khushi: No Arnav. She didnt tell me anything. It was me who wanted to assure her and she inturn asked me to keep you happy. Thats all. Her happiness lies in you.

Arnav cupped her face in his palms.

Arnav: And my happiness lies in your smile Khushi. Not in tears.

She felt happy and delighted with his confession. He leaned over her lips and she moved back a bit getting nervous of those extra lights in their room. He could understand it easily. He got up and switched the lights off ensuring she feels comfortable. He leaned at her lips again.

Arnav: Ab theek hai? (Is it okay now?)

She smiled wrapping her arms over his neck and drawing him closer to her. Their lips met and tongues tangled to taste and devour each other. Soon their clothes started shedding off as desires overflowed their hearts. This wasnt the first time he was touching her but her level of shy was the same. Infact it had increased. She had become more sensitive towards his touch as if sticking it in her heart forever. Their bodies became one soon after their hard moans . His fingers working magic on her skin, his tantalizing tip of the tongue working expertly, covering every centimeter of her body. After their first session, he collapsed beside her , taking her in his arms. She was tired and had no much strength to even be awake after this. Sleep overpowered them and the night kept passing with those sweet memories taking place in their dreams.

She woke him up as romantically as possible , kissing him all over his face and mumbling sweet notings in his ears asking him to get up and have the bed tea. He opened his eyes and saw her waiting with two tea cups. Kissing her cheek he sat on the bed and she started serving the tea. A Rose was kept on the tray which had the two tea cups and he remembered something. He picked the rose in hand and then caressed her cheek with that same rose.

Arnav: You had planted such a rose in my Car too once, hai naa?

Khushi: DOnt remind me that.

She tried to ignore the topic but he was in a complete teasing mood.

Arnav: Sometimes I think what was the need of doing all this Magic Khushi? Aise hi propose kar deti and I would never have denied.!!

She passed the tea cup to him and sipped hers too.

Khushi: Sachi? You liked me since then? I thought you considered me to be a kid.

Arnav: So? I LOVEEE KIDSSS

He placed the cups aside and once again pulled his wife back on bed, covering them from the Sheets for proving his love.
