"Sure," I said. He looked at my friends, hesitantly.

"Um, Sanyukta I think, we'll meet you after a minute," Kaustuki said understanding Randhir's thoughts.

They went, without one more word. I saw them go as I waited for Randhir to speak. Then, I finally turned towards him. He took out a chocolate from his pocket and gave it to me. I looked at the chocolate and then at him. My expression told him the question I was going to ask. So, he explained it himself.

"Well, I saw your friends giving you gifts, yesterday so I came to the result that it might be your birthday but then I wasn't sure. So, I asked Tushaar today and got to know that it was your birthday on Sunday."

@blue-this part was something where my expectations went high... I was like "Yipeee!!!!!!!!!!"

Suddenly, Randhir came and sat by my side.

"I wanted to tell you something," he said. His face was serious but his eyes had humor in them, which I could see clearly.

"Um, go ahead," I said.

"I love you," he said. I was in shock. My hands started to shake. What? So easily? Like this? I stared at him, blankly. He stared back. Then, I heard his friends shouting and laughing and saw a pen placed on their table. And I realized what was going on.

"Oh, it was a dare," I said.

"Yup! But I didn't say it because it was a dare. I said it because I wanted to," he said.

"So, was it a proposal?" I couldn't help asking.

"No, I just told you that I love you, so you are not allowed to love anyone else"

"And if I say I love someone else..." I teased.

"If you are happy with that someone, I'll go away and wouldn't trouble you anymore"

"I don't love that someone," I said. He smiled.

"Good," he said and went back to his seat.
