Your teasers are just as sweet as the updates and really makes us count the days to the actual chapter. Oh dear lord, he must be quite a sight for sore eyes! How is Kushi going to get out of this tiny little lie? Guess she will have no choice but to accept the dinner invite.

Btw, your note was bang on and you are not trivializing the loss of a child by any means. If anything, you are bringing attention to a very sensitive subject and awareness helps a lot.

I loved the name of the chapter too. Waiting for Arnav to whisper sweet nothings in Khushi's ears.

Jenny dear, I know I'm really really late. But the asli duniya is tough these days.

But for what it's worth, here goes...

Lavanya...as a mother myself I can absolutely and completely empathize with her pain at losing her child. There can be no greater punishment for a mother than that. I had tears in my eyes when I read that.

That's not to say Arnav's loss is any less or is decimated in any way. But Lavanya has the additional burden of being guilty of hiding the truth of Aarav's paternity from Arnav. Most often a tragedy like this strengthens a couple's relationship, but sometimes it has the opposite effect. Plus Lavanya and Arnav's marriage was already based on a lie. Aarav was all that was holding it together. With him gone, the marriage collapsed too. I have seen this with a friend and her husband who lost their child.

She's looking to punish Arnav for what she believes he did -- abandoning her when she needed him the most, and this is the only way she can do it. By withholding the divorce. While I don't agree with what she's doing, I do understand it.

Astha...Arnav's right. She does need to stop calling him by that baby name😛. And she's reacting like any woman, particularly a mother, would. Her first thought is with Lavanya. That was Khushi's first reaction too wasn't it? Any mother would hate to see her child's marriage broken unless she is completely aware of the true reasons for it. Which Astha obviously isn't.

Arnav...his story is heartbreaking. And it's a guilt he will always live with.

Khushi...she is going to be torn between her feelings for a married man and her thoughts about the pain his wife has to be going through, whatever the circumstances. As you said "...because never in her life had destination seemed more important than the way, wrong so perilously close to right, and prospect of getting burnt so irresistibly enchanting..."
