Part 24

The decision was made and Khushi was in no mood to change it.

Prachi: HAve you gone mad Khushi? Paapa has sent me to take you back to Germany and you are saying you not willing to come?

Khushi: Haan Prachi. I cannot come.

Prachi: Ohh. I doubted this . That Arnav finally managed to convince you he needs you. Right? But how can you forget what he did Khushi? He forced you

Khushi: I know Prachi. I know what he did with me earlier and I also know what happened after that in those 9 months. But Arnav is not the reason for my change of decision.

Prachi: Dont lie.

Khushi: I am not lieing. I have a baby Prachi. A month old baby who needs his mother. Can you imagine what will happen to him if he doesnt have me beside?

Prachi: THat is ASR's problem. He wanted you till the baby is born. After that whatever happens is his headache.

KHushi: You are wrong Prachi. That baby belongs to both of us. He needs me

Prachi: Dont be foolish Khushi. What is wrong with you ?

Khushi: Prachi what is wrong with you? Why arent you seeing a baby's need for his mother?

Prachi was very angered when Khushi suddenly cross questioned her.

Prachi: Do hell with the baby Khushi. Stop thinking about others.

The moment Prachi said this Khushi raised her hand in anger to slap Prachi. Her anger was justified. But she didnt slap. She stopped at the right time.

Prachi: I am shocked. My little sister can raise her hand on me?

Khushi: Yes I can. Anyone who speaks ill about my baby, I will not tolerate Prachi. How could you speak so low ? Dont you have a heart? Cant you see the pain of a mother? the pain of a Baby to be with its mother? How can you be so rock hearted? May be I am expecting too much. You never had a heart for understanding what a baby means. Thats why once you aborted your child and the second time you lost it because of your own negligance. But now ?Atleast now underastand what you are doing Prachi. You should have supported me in this decision but you are forcing me to come back with you. Are you jealous of me? Are you jealous of this fact that Arnav has feelings for me? He has moved on in life? And that we both have a baby now?

Prachi frozed but the evilness in her was still the same

Prachi; Jealous? And me? WHy will I be jealous of you Khushi? Infact you should not forget on what basis you got this child from Arnav. It was not by love making. It was a scientific process. Thats all .But what Arnav did with me, you have to be jealous of it.

Khushi was angry more now.

Khushi:Sick of you Prachi. How can you act so cheap today? This is what you kept feeding inside your head all the time? I know Arnav and I never made love because there was never love between us and today when he confessed he loves me and wants me un his life I am still not accepting him. Because somewhere I still want him to repent for messing with my life. But how can I forget, If Arnav did all this, it was somewhere related to you Prachi. If you wouldnt have ditched him, my life would never be so bitter .

Prachi was quiet. Today finally the mirror was shown to her and she was realising it slowly how all fault was hers and only hers.

Khushi: Just leave my sight Prachi. I am no longer interested in conversing on this topic. I will let Paapa know my decision and hopefully he will understand me this time unlike you.

Khushi didnt wait for her to leave, she just left back to her room. Arnav had witnessed this scene and he was happy that Khushi finally could blurt the truth to Prachi showing her the real place.

Days passed. Arnav was totally in limits .They slept in the same room on the same bed but with Jr ASR in between. They shared the same closet but now it was full of Jr ASR's clothes. THey woke up together but with the screams of Jr ASR who didnt let them sleep peacefully. He was not named yet and the ceremony was soon to be disclosed but till then everyone at home called him Junior.

Arnav's desperation in sorting things out was very well noticed by everyone in the family but no one forced Khushi to accept him. He should deserve this punishment.

She never felt so awkward like today feeding the baby in the Car, that too sitting at the Front Seat when Arnav was driving. She had no option because the baby was crying feeling hungry while they were on way to the Doctor for the baby's regular check-up. Though she had covered herself properly by a Shawl, she knew how difficult it was for Arnav to hear all those sucking sounds of the baby while she fed him. The satisfactory sound which their baby made each time he sucked the milk was tickling Arnav's senses too but he concentrated fully on the road and never even turned towards Khushi to see what she was going through. Many men are obsessed with their wives breast milk and he too had that infatuation. He just hoped he keeps it with himself until he settles down the issues between him and her.

The Baby was diagnosed by the Dr and Arnav was also accompanying Khushi for this inside the Dr's Clinic. The Dr was really happy to see Arnav all the time accompanying Khushi and baby because this is not what is expected from every father. Sometimes men are so busy in work that they forget such responsibilities. But Arnav was still doing it all without fail even when the baby was 2 months now

Dr: When is the naming ceremony?

Khushi: Next week Dr. The family is very excited.

Dr: They will be, but I can read how anxscious ASR is for that day. Have you decided the name.

Khushi: Not yet. His Paapa will decide it.

Dr: Aww. Thats nice. Looks like he is a Paapa's boy then. Not mumma's.

As the Dr continued writing some medicines for Junior, Arnav and Khushi quickly shared a glance and then they concentrated back on the Dr.

Dr: I still remember how ASR feared when he came to know about your Delivery complexity. It was such a difficult situation for him to decide between his wife and baby. Any husband would have taken time to decide but ASR just told it in one second. THat he needs his Wife to be saved. Thats true Love.

She chuckled and handed the paper to Arnav who thanked her and got up but Khushi was staring at Arnav in bewilderment. So such a situation had come? And he saved her ? She knew the Dr wont lie but she was also confused why Arnav didnt tell her about this incident?

Their return journey was in silence again and even Jr ASR was sleeping peacefully after filling his stomach. When they reached back to their room and Arnav placed the baby on bed, he found her watching him and then blocking his way towards the cupbaord

Arnav; Kya hua?

Khushi: Why didnt you tell me ?

Arnav: Regarding?

Khushi: You know what I am talking about Arnav. Dont pretend.

Arnav just smiled at her and then asked her to ease down.

Arnav: That matter is closed Khushi. I wanted to save you and see , God saved our baby too. Everything is solved.

Khushi: Why did you want me to be saved? All this always meant for the Payback and the baby right? Then why so much of favour?

Arnav: Favour?> You think All that I did was favouring you?

Khushi: Then what was it?

Arnav: Will you believe it if I tell you?

Khushi: I dont want to judge anything right now . Just tell me why you chose me to be saved ?

Arnav: Because that day I thought and decided from my Heart Khushi.

There was a silence for some time in the room and then he pulled her softly towards him.

Arnav: You believe it or not , but my heart had started beating for you right from the time I saw you first in my Office, having so much of courage to enter my den and pounce on me. There was always something in you which attracted me towards you unknowingly Khushi. May be today you think all this is just to get forgiveness from you for my deeds. Its not so easy to understand what I have gone through in those 9 months where I have seen each and every small good thing about you and realised my mistake for making you take such a decision for me. Khushi if ever Arnav Singh Raizada has fallen for anyone in his entire life, it has to be for you. I never felt this closeness with even Prachi when we shared initimacy . The desires which you keep arousing inside me day and night when you slept beside me having our baby inside you, were the only desires I ever got for anyone. Wished I had met you first before Prachi. Our lives would have been so simple unlike today. You know I had told you my Wish to cut the cord when the baby comes out? To make him independent? When the time actually came and I was asked to do this, I couldnt even think about isolating the baby from you Khushi. Because this baby is meant to be ours. Not yours or mine seperately.

Tears flowed down her eyes with his confession. He gently wiped them off and she was only watching his face

Arnav: I dont have any more wishes to fulfil from you Khushi, but still if life ever gives me a chance again, I would want to have another baby from you and this time, unlike the first time , I would wish to have it by our Love making. Its just a Hope which I dont even know will ever be fulfiled or not.

She couldnt help herself from hugging him slowly because that Wish had got tickles in her stomach and somewhere she too hoped for the same. If things were in her hand, she would make him start working on this wish from tonight itself. She realised how deep she was thinking on this matter and suddenly withdrew herself from the hug and left the room.

Night

It was late night and Junior was sleeping right beside Khushi whom she was feeding turning her back to Arnav so that he shouldnt see . But those sucking sound was again the reason for Arnav's restlesness. He opened his eyes and saw Khushi turned around not to face him. The moment was perfect for him. The dim lights, the cool breeze from the windows and seeing his wife Khushi sliding down the strap of her sleeveless nighty to feed the baby was creating havoc to his senses. She kept on admiring the baby who by now was already sleeping leaving her skin. Her thoughts diverted towards the confession from Arnav today. She smiled at his wish which he told her so openly. But Love making? Was it possible between them? Wasnt she the one who told him she stayed back only for baby? She was still clouded with these thoughts when suddenly she felt his fingers lingering from her back towards her shoulder . She had no time to neaten her nighty or pull it back up. He carefully turned her around and looked in her eyes. His need was identified but he would never touch her unless she allows him to. She closed her eyes gasping once almost giving him a signal to go ahead. His eyes slowly scanned her one mound which was completely naked to his view and in no time he placed a warm kiss over it. The kisses became urgent soon and he nibbled her skin sucking her once and fulfilling his desire of tasting her milk which even his Junior does every now and then.

She was not in her senses anymore when he moved to her face to kiss her.His hands already were doing their work of massaging her delicate body. She opened her eyes when she felt his breathe fanning her Cheeks. He was close to her lips and she knew what was next. He had just pecked her lips once when their Junior ASR started crying again feeling hungry. That broke their stance and she quickly moved Arnav away , hugging her baby and feeding him. This was such a different stage of their life .None of them knew what they just did and wanted to do further. But one thing was sure. Neither of the two repented over it and they both knew that very well.
