Hi everyone

After a really long time. I had thought you people would have cursed me to ashes and moved on.. I am really moved to see my sweet sisters still hanging on. Truth to be told it was better when I had decided to stop with Chap 49 but with all your insistence I agreed for last chapter. Many changes happened in this one year right from my delivery to my office pressures and I should say I literally moved on from writing FFs. Still when tintin_ruble asked me to do a collab I agreed because this writing gave me some sort of relief from the hecitic schedule. I actually got committed to the crazy creative team and my personal life also got busy. I had written down the teaser part drafted some portion and left it like that. Never thought of finishing it because I lost in touch with the whole story. I had to read again and write the part.

So my sincere apologies for hurting all your feelings. But this would be the last FF on Arshi which I would be writing alone. Will be there with tintin on the other one though. After that its an adeiu to the IF FF section.


Posting the half I drafted here. If you want to read and comment you can read or else its upto you. The next part will be updated too even though you will read or comment. Its a commitment for the dear readers who trusted me so much which I didn't fulfill,and I have to remove that guilty feeling or else I wont get peace!

PS :Again a big apology for not leaving a note. I dont want to reason or justify its just that I have moved on from IF except the CC section. And I prefer to stay aloof after this too.

Part 50 -part 1

Its almost a wait for more than 5 hours. All eyes were on the door of the operation theater chanting, praying for the good news to arrive. The wishes were heard by God as, it soon opened welcoming the doctor from inside who walked towards them.

"Congratulations, the operation went on well.. You are blessed with a baby boy. Both are fine. We shall transfer her to the ward in one hour. You can meet the baby and the mother there"

She shook hands with the ladies leaving them to celebrate for the new arrival. He hugged both the ladies in excitement and went on to make calls. The ladies couldn't resist their happiness and contentment with the new born arrival .As he strode towards a secluded place to call his people, his thoughts marred by the thought of losing her. A respite is needed to let out all suppressed thoughts. But not at the moment when this good news had to be passed on to the most important people in his life.

In a most sensitive and fragile way, she took the little bud in her arms slowly rocking as to not disturb his sleep. Tears erupted out of her eyes some trying to sink inside her throat as the little one kept his finger on his chest closing his eyes shut.

"Jiji he looks.. he.. " all her resolve broke lose. Her resolve which was shredded by the baby's one action made her quite emotional.

NK kept his hand on her shoulder trying to pacify her while Madhumati joined to share her emotions that was really moving their hearts.

"Ma.. please...please be strong." He assured in a way Garima nodded to feel the joy of the moment than turning into something emotional.

"Nanhe.. babua, did you check with the doctors about the baby and her?"

"Everything is fine buaji. We can take them home tomorrow itself." NK assured them with a pleasing smile.

"That's great, I shall go and arrange for the arrival of our new member. You both stay here with her. Garima, I shall send you food through Nanhe in the afternoon. We have so many people waiting there for our messages. I have to convey this good news to everyone"

After some moments of spending time with baby, Madhumati left the hospital. NK was pacing around attending calls while Garima stared at the baby who was sleeping peacefully in the cradle.

"Ma , I shall get you some tea or coffee. You stay here. The doctors might come any time."

"Nanhe.. you stay here. I shall bring coffee in the flask. You had been pacing up and down from yesterday. You sit here. Let me go. I just need some walking too"

Saying she took the flask with her walking to the cafeteria.

He came beside the cradle slightly rocking it devouring the sight of the tiny bundle wrapped in white cotton sleeping inside. A smile etched on his face as he saw the mother sleeping after an exhausting five hours of labour. He moved beside her on the cot and caressed her forehead. Her eyes started to open in no time and she smiled weakly as the tiredness had resisted her even to smile at him heartily.

"Congratulations. How are you feeling now?"

She looked impassively at him not able to really settle herself to sit properly.

"I am ok.. I feel so . tired."

"Don't worry I am near you. Just go to sleep" he said as he stroked her cheeks with the thumb.

She turned towards the cradle to spot the baby. A serene smile enveloped her lips as she tried to stare at him for seconds though her eyes were drooping.

"He is fine.. he looks a bit like papa.. Thank you so much" he kissed her temple lovingly.

"NK.. I should thank you too then."

"Sheetal.. NK.. Congratulations.. aww.my chweetu baby..." Anjali stormed into the room after knocking the door which made the couple conscious of the surroundings.

Anjali took the baby in her arms while Madhu and Shyam watched with a smile at them.

"NK... he is so cute .. he looks like Sashi uncle" Shyam said excitedly making NK smile with proud.

"So what name have you both planned for the chote sahib?" Anjali's inquisitiveness made the couple think a bit.

" I am not sure di... I hope all of us will end up in suggesting one each." Sheetal beamed at her.

"How about asking Mamu? He has quite a good choice with him. What say NK uncle?" Madhu's face light up a glimmer of delight.

"ah Madhu, do you think my sister would leave me in peace if I hadn't asked her suggestions. They are working on it. As soon as I conveyed the message to her she was all excited and even took a day off to celebrate her new position as bua.. I am sure they will come up with the best name and I will finally resort to their choice."said NK with a pride grin on his face.

The room was occupied by Garima who was overwhelmed to see Anjali Shyam and Madhu. Slowly the men retreated to their houses with Madhu while Anjali stayed back with Garima.

"Anjali bitiya, it was so nice of you to stay back.You were always my pillar of support since Khushi's marriage. Even in my difficult and the most dreaded phase you were with us through out.I don't have words to thank you all. I must have done some good deeds in my previous birth to get your family." She emotionally touched Anjali's cheek.

"Aunty, please.. me and chotte have never seen you as someone else. You are like our mother. We do seek the warmth and affection that you show on us in terms of our mother. So whats wrong in a daughter helping a mother?"

Sheetal watched both of them conversing as she was trying to slowly close her eyes as the exhaustion set in again. She went back those days when she was dating NK. Both of them were working in the same firm in Delhi. NK had joined the company with Arnav's guidance and help. Initially he was getting a big bloc in understanding the working terms but to his fortune Sheetal was the one who helped in getting accustomed to the working conditions and adjusting him to the new atmosphere. She had been very apprehensive of why NK was always distant in his behaviour with her until the day he started to open out his heart with her. His love towards his family, his sister and all the more the respect and adoration towards his brother in law. Sheetal was intrigued to learn more about their relationships. After hearing from him about the fiasco that happened during Khushi's marriage, his relationship with Lavanya, Sheetal was really moved by the Raizada's response. As a mere listener of all these events, she had least expected the Raizadas to have normal affection between the families. She even had challenged NK that such relationships wont exist in real life where sacrifice trust and love prevailed in this era. But all her notions were shattered when she accompanied him to Lucknow and had a chance to meet both the families and their reunion. Apparently the situation when she entered was one of the dreadest and the worst happening in the family the support and faith NK's family had towards Raizadas and their reciprocation of more strength and moral support proved that she was wrong. Had she not visited Lucknow at that very moment, she thought she would have missed a greatest treasure. As an orphan ,she wished to get a good family to take care which she saw in the Guptas.She took less time in convincing NK and his family which evolved into a lifelong bond between her and NK. Now it has reached to the point where the flowers of their love have blossomed their life. Still the love and care gets going between the families which soothed her pain of being an orphan now she is proud to be associated with both these families where she could feel the real sense of belonging.

Payal straightened the clock with serious face irritated to the core to say the least. She looked around to spot someone but in vain. Slowly getting down the stool on which she stood, she collected the remote toys and other papers scattered around the room mumbling in irritation.

"What mess has she created? Blame the elder people who gives her so much of liberty to do such things. Uff I am just fed up of her"

Akash came in smiling looking at the real hot face of his wife who is mad with someone in particular.

"Hi sweetheart. Do you need any help?"

Payal glared at him the next moment which made him bow his head down. She continued to clean the hall when he came behind him hugging her.

"Baby thoda ghussa kam kar do.. BP badh jayega"

She shrugged her arms and turned around to confront him. Like a sudden storm hit near them she heard the glass vase breaking into pieces with the bang sound resonating the hall.

"Yaaayyy"

The sofa started to shake with the intensity of the jumping by the little brat of the house.

"Stop it Manisha.. You will break that sofa. " Payal yelled.

"Its ok.. we can buy new sofa. What Papa?" answered the jumping Manisha winking at her father Akash.

Payal ran towards her naughty little daughter to drag her down. By the time Payal could catch her Manisha ran towards the hallway escaping herself from her mother's hit. As in cue she could get hold of her grandmother whom she resorted to hide behind.

"Dadi Mama is coming to hit me."

Payal glared at her daughter for putting her in trouble.

"Why are you scaring her? She is so small. Don't show your anger on her."

"Ma.. Ma.. enough.. Mani.. go and play outside.. Not here.."

Payal nudged him when his mother retreated for her room after another round of glare. Even though there was some peace than the times of his post marriage, the internal cold was still on. Payal never needed a help of anyone to restrain Manorama's behavior but at times she chose to remain on a silent mode thinking of avoiding another verbal spat just for the sake of the other members in the family she loves the most.

Akash took out his mobile to check the messages as he was walking along the hallway. Now a days he had more sibling convo only through whatsapp unlike other times where in he used to have good conversation with his bhai and chutki. As he sat on the couch his eyes fell on the diya kept infront of the frame which was about to put off due to the breeze from the ceiling fan. He rushed near the diya and cleared it looking at the face on the photo frame with the sense of longingness. He looked at it for more than a minute and caressed softly with a sigh.

"Dadi.. Wish you were here to see all these hungama. We miss you so much. The kids need someone like you who can guide them to a good path. You had taught me bhai di and Lavanya so much in life the meaning of values which we are following till now. We hope we can make our kids a good human being by teaching your values."

The moment he closed his eyes he received a call which brought a big grin on his face.

"Hello Bhai.. whats up????" Lavanya squealed from her phone that produced a screeching sound on his mobile.

"Chutki.. reduce your volume. I would have turned deaf with that sound of yours"

"uh.. I should be blamed for this. I deserve it.Inspite of my work pressure I called my bhai with affection, you are annoyed with my one phone call. How rude?" Lavanya pouted.

"Very funny. The wife of a Vice President and Reputed Regional Manager Operations getting work pressure? OMG that's the news of the century!" Akash stated sarcastically.

"So what if we are the owners. Its our company. Don't we need to work for its growth?Ah.. Just ignore all that..Tell me about everyone.. Hows everyone?How are the kids? Di and Jeeju still in the next honeymoon phase or back from the trip? Ma,Papa and Bhabhi?"

"All fine.. its just that we keep missing you all. When are you coming here? Bangalore and your husband Sameer is attracting you so much that you forgot your family." Akash sighed with a mocking disappointment.

"No bhai..dont say that. Me and Sameer are planning to come there this weekend. Wait.. what news from bhai? He has set for another week tour to Germany. This time he is not gonna get spared."Lavanya laughed out hard.

"ah.. don't you know how all this fight end. Erm.. we know his ability to tackle bhabhi though they fight each other they cant stand without seeing or talking to each other. He will make up for the fight. By the way NK and Sheetal gave birth to a baby boy today morning. Di and Jeeju have gone to meet the baby." Akash said with excitement.

Lavanya laugh turned into a graceful smile and genuine concern.

"Oh. That's great bhai. Garima aunty will be more happy I can understand. Please convey my wishes to them. I hope I can meet the baby when we both come there for the weekend. Ok bhai.. got to go for a meeting now."Lavanya cut off her conversation in urgency.

"Sure will convey that. So meet you then on weekend I hope. Give my regards to Sameer.. Take care Bye" Akash cut the call and smiled at the screen.

The family couple pics were hanging on the other side of the hall which caught his attention. Lavanya and Sameer.. The beautiful couple smiling their hearts out with love. He remembered the day when Sameer Advani, the current Vice President of SN Group, the only son of the owner Mr.Saurabh Advani came with his father to ask his sister's hand. Lavanya had been working in one of his firms where he met her. Though Lavanya had been very cautious of her relationship with him he was smitten by her charm, the lovely character and all the more her dedication and hardwork. When he had proposed her for marriage her outright reply was that her family gave her this life and its their decision she would always adhere to. That one reply had blown off Sameer's father who on further investigation from his sources came to know about this wonderful Raizada family and their relationships. Lavanya was startled when she saw Sameer and his father in her doorstep. She feared how her mother and father would react to this. But it was a big shock when she saw her mother happily accepting the family with so much respect and love. The richness and status had really proved priority for her there. But the family had apprehensions which they put forth and Sameer's father was ready to solve all their questions regarding why he chose Lavanya and what reason he chose a girl from an upper middle class family not anyone from the same level status. He had patiently replied about the only reason that they wanted Lavanya and that was her morals which attracted him and all the more the family. He was sure that Lavanya would be the best bahu he can get for his son. Nani was impressed by Sameer and his family who agreed to the marriage but there was one person whose yes was more important. One phone call the engagement was fixed next day and in six months the marriage of the little sister was celebrated in grandeur by the Raizada brothers. Its been two years since her marriage, she has not only proved to be a good and the best bahu for the family but a very big asset to their company serving as the Regional Manager achieving milestones.

His eyes moved to the next picture which attracted him the most. The ones whom everyone were dying to see. A cute picture of a father holding his 6 month old son cuddled by the mother as if both are her prized posession. A touchwood moment.
