Through the eyes of an almost forgotten mamaji

This is a concept different and unique certainly

His character and thought neglected constantly

He was a brother too, one that felt so very guilty

Unable to protect his sister who he loved dearly

The life partner selected was not for her worthy

Her life ending with deceit & tears so tragically

Leaving behind children he loved unconditionally

Now like Aakash bringing up also Arnav & Anjali

For their future, with love taking full responsibility

On an occasion so pious for siblings like Raakhi

Her absence he felt, making him sad especially

Standing by him, his anguish she felt completely

Was his loyal, loving wife, our Manorama mami

This was written with so much love & sensitivity

His perspective to us brought out so adequately

I loved it when I read it and this was swimming in my head since then...happy birthday Saiyyu, you are special and I am so lucky and happy to have you in my life...love you both...

never thought some thing like this that too from Mamaji's point of view. .
you really evoke some emotions here Zehra..

I loved each and every line of this OS couldn't pin point one part or para.

I loved this really. and thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

ArHi or MaMa(mahinder manorama) you rock humesha.

This Os was so beautifully written Zehra!!! It was really amazing!!!👏

I was surprised with myself how I could love it so much, being a non ArHi Os!!!

I guess it is the magic of your writing..I loved it..❤️

Although it was a short one, it was so well written that we could feel his emotions and feelings very well.

I also love how you wrote about his relationship with manorama mami too..Although she was a loud dramatic woman, she loved her husband and cared for him, for his feelings..she was there for him when he needed her the most..

I don't know how you came up with this idea..I have never read an OS on Mahinder chacha..But this one was just awesome..I enjoyed reading it!!❤️

I imagined it was Arnav and was pleasantly surprised to know its Mahinder. Even when you talked about his wife being loud and all, I didn't get the clue.So after knowing that it is Mahinder, I started reading it again and felt that never had I imagined about Mahinder's feelings about his sister.

The inner trauma of Mahinder not being able to protect his sister and apology to his sister on Rakshabandhan are really moving.

This OS made me realise that it all lies in the writer, the way the character is written and shown. It made me think what must have Mahinder gone through after losing his sister which never happened while watching IPK.

'Memories' made a lasting impression on my mind. I loved it, its simply superb Zehra ⭐️

P.S. Beautiful dedication to your sister Saiyu 😊 ❤️

Fantabulous one shot
I haven't read any thing about mamaji, his fears n responsibility n most importantly the close bond n love he harbors for his family n for mamiji. Though he was treated as a side character but he was the real man n protector of his family. He n Arnav are so like n so does their wives.
This is brilliant n I love it a lot.
It's a wonderful n amazing surprise.
