The Kshyaps had been thrown out and now every family member looked at Arnav and Khushi.

Anjali: What did Lavanya mean Chotte? Were you really liking Khushiji ? You had feelings for her?

Arnav didnt answer but Khushi's eyes were completely moist.

Nani: Chotte answer us. We have to know what made you even do so? How can you have feelings for someone else when you were engaged?

Arnav had to lose his control over his tongue and speak before its too late.

Arnav: Lavanya and me had just agreed for marriage because of the Partnership Deal her father offered me. I did what I felt was right that time.

Anjali: And what about your intentions for Khushiji? Is it true that you.

Arnav: Yes. It is true. I am attracted to her and I dont think its wrong.

Every person standing there were startled with his reply. Khushi was the first person to leave back to her room with Palak. She had no stamina to stand there and get insight of his feelings. Seeing her leave Arnav did understand he had to stop because the family or even Khushi can never understand his inner thoughts. Having an attraction for someone wasnt wrong for him. He left too and the family just kept staring at each others face.

2 days passed and Khushi was strictly avoiding any conversation with Arnav personally. She did go to work but maintained the distance between him and her. She didnt know where life had made her land because there seemed to be no place where she can be free from his created problems. She had thought coming to Delhi with Palak, all her issues would be sorted and she can give Palak a good life but this wasnt happening. Arnav Singh Raizada had complexed the situation by showing interest in her.

Even Arnav didn t run behind her to convince. According to him, he had given enough clues to her for what he wanted and what he felt for the relationship between them. It was now upto her to show some interest or bury things here and be professional only.

The family had noticed their reactions and they had think something good now. It was either a Yes or a NO. At least some light on this topic will help erase the growing complexities in this house, they thought.

Anjali was sitting in Khushi's room and both were playing with Palak. Anjali got the best opportunity to talk to Khushi on what she thinks about Arnav. She started her conversation which started heating up very soon.

Anjali: Chotte dil ke bure nahi hai Khushiji.. Par humesha Dil aur deemag ke jang mein woh apne Dimag ko chunte hai. Kyon ki shayad un ke kaano tak dil ki awaaz pohuchti hi nahi. Par humme yakeen hai, ek sahi jeevan saathi ke milne se, woh apne Dil ki awaaz sunn paayenge. (Chotte is not bad at heart. But whenever he has to choose one among his heart and mind, he supports his mind. Thats because his Heart's voice never reaches his ears. But I have full faith that one correct life partner can make him change )

Khushi passed a smile while Palak was constantly pulling her dupatta sitting next to her and playing with it. Anjali placed her hand on Khushi's right arm looking at her again.

Anjali : Kya aap woh Jeevan Saathi Banegi Khushiji? Kya aap humaare Chotte aur iss ghar ki khushiyon ko lautayengi? (Will you be that Life partner for my Chotte Khushiji? Will you give back happiness of Chotte and this family's?)

Khushi was dumbfound at Anjali's request.

Khushi: Nahi Anjaliji. Hum aisa soch bhi nahi sakte. Maana ke ab unki Sagaai toot chuki hai, maana ki unhe hum pasand hai , par Shaadi? Unhe aaj tak Shaadi ka matlab bhi nahi pata hai. Jo insaan sirf apne matlab ke liye kissi se apni zindagi baatne ke liye taiyaar ho, woh kabhi bhi kissi aur matlab le liye uss rishtey ko kaat bhi sakta hai. Humaare liye Shaadi ek aisa rishta hai jo Dil se joodta hai aur unke liye Deal se. Lavanyaji ke paas fir bhi bahut kuch tha unhe dene ke liye lekin humaare paas kuch nahi hai. Humse shaadi karna unke liye kabhi faydemand nahi hoga. (No Anjaliji. I cannot even think that. I know his engagement broke, and that he likes me too. But Marriage? He doesnt even know the meaning of marriage until now. A person who can be ready to tie knot with someone only for his profits can break that same relationship anytime for better motives ahead. For me marriage relates two hearts and for him its just a mere Deal. Lavanyaji still had much to give him but I have nothing. I dont wish him to be at loss marrying me)

She was always clear enough in expressing her thoughts and she did the same today before Anjali who by now was very depressed. There was a sudden knock at the door and both the ladies became conscious. To their surprise, it was Arnav who was standing right before them. It would be wrong to say he hadnt heard Khushi's words. He had did that and now Khushi just hoped he doesnt give his responses to it because she really wasnt interested. But nothing like that happened. THough all the 3 of them knew what had happened, Arnav still kept mum on this topic but looked at Khushi.

Arnav: Buaji is coming here tomorrow. She tried calling you on your number and when you didnt answer, she dialed me.

Khushi quickly moved towards her phone on the side table and saw it was on a Silent mode and she did miss many calls from Buaji. Palak started waving her hands asking Arnav to pick her. It was very rare when Palak wanted to spend time with him. She had started building her bond slowly with Arnav. He came in and picked Palak while Khushi and Anjali only looked at him.

Arnav: I am taking her down.

He said looking at his Di and left the room.

This wasnt done. Her words had left a deep impact on Arnav's heart and mind. So she thinks he doesnt even know the meaning of marriage. Was it true? He knew what marriage is. Two people who think they can stay together forever under the same roof with love, respect and dignity marry each other. A husband fulfils his duties and wife hers. Whats more in that? Does she think he cannot give her love and respect? If he gives it to her now, he can even give her then. Or was it just because marrying Lavanya was a Deal for him , so Khushi thought he doesnt believe in normal marriages? Why was she so complicated to understand? Sometimes he just wished to pin her to the wall and tell her he wants her to marry him. If thats what she thinks is necessary for two people to share their hearts out then he was ready for it. And this wasnt out of any profits, this wasnt because he wanted anything in return from her. He wanted her to stay in this house forever, he wanted her to be her caretaker, he wanted her to be safe from all the worries and issues, he wanted her to be named as his. But he wasnt going to force her for anything, it should be her decision. She knew already he liked her and wanted her to what extent. So now if she really feels the same for him, and changes her thinking about him, then she would come back. But Arnav Singh Raizada wont shed off his Ego that easily in this matter anymore. But will he be able to hold on like this? What if she never changes her mind?

Railway Station - Next Day

Khushi was surprised to find Arnav Singh Raizada waiting outside the Railway station before his white SUV, she never thought he can be here to pick her Buaji. They both still didnt talk anything personal even when they worked together at the same office. But this time Khushi couldnt stopped going towards him and checking what made him come here.

Khushi: Aap yahan? Railway Station mein?

Arnav: Kyon ? Sirf tumhe haq hai yahan aane ka?

Khushi: Par aap kyon aaye? Hum aane waale the Buaji ko lene.

Arnav: I know she is your Buaji but she is related to me too somehow. She treated me really well when I had come to Lucknow and now its my responsibilty to treat her good.

Khsuhi: I guess you are overthinking.

Arnav: I dont think so.

Their talks were kind of argumentive but none of them paid much heed to it as they saw Buaji coming towards them with her bag. They both welcomed her and got inside the Car for driving back to Shantivan.

Buaji: Have some work in the Pension Office Arnav Babua. Once that is done, I will be leaving.

Arnav: No problem Buaji. That house is even yours. You should not hurry.

Khushi was sitting with Arnav at the front and both did share glances at times but not for long.

Buaji: How is Palak? Is she happy with the family? She stays well with them now?

Khushi: Yes Buaji , she is getting close to everyone. The family is taking good care of her.

Buaji; I can feel that seeing you bitya. Hope things remain the same .

Arnav didnt respond anything much after this and fixed his attention on driving home as soon as possible. The family heartily welcomed Madhumati and they also formally apolozised for not accepting Payal as their bahu. They were really repenting on this fact and needed forgiveness. Madhumati was kind hearted and she didnt make them wait long. Palak was happy to see Buaji and the rest of the day passed quickly. Khushi didnt tell Buaji anything what happened here.She just wanted Buaji to stay away from such matters because she didnt wanted her to be tensed.

It was Dinner time and Buaji was sitting with everyone for Dinner explaining how Khushi and Arnav kept fighting initially in Lucknow for Palak's responsibility. Arnav was quietly eating whereas Khsuhi was not very comfortable too.

Anjali: They both are the caretakers of Palak Buaji. Both love Palak so much.

Buaji: Yes Yes I know.Thats the reason I gave them a best solution too but guess this was not possible.

Khushi's jaw dropped and Arnav hicuuped once realising what Buaji was going to tell further.

Nani: Solution? What was it Madhumatiji?

Buaji: Marriage. I asked them to get married to each other which will help them take care of Palak as a couple. But both didnt give a ear to it. Now you tell me Devyaniji, how long will Khushi be single? Some or the other day she has to get married and go to her Sasuraal. She cannot take Palak with her and neither can she leave her in this family, so I gave them both an apt solution that time. I know our status dont match but I just thought about the baby and no one else. She shouldnt be hurt in between Arnav babua and Khushi's fights. What do you say?

The family had smiles on their face that Buaji was also thinking in their lines only.
