today's favourite line:

"Parth: Randhir! Agar tum yahi karthe rahe then we will never be able to finish the task, please meri baath suno and do as im saying.

Randhir wanted to fight back but he knew that it was of no use coz somewhere down the line miss farzi's "BFF" was right we had so little time, so he had no option but to co-operate with Parth coz for Randhir loosing was not an option.

Randhir: fine! You show me the screw holes but only "I'll" be fixing it!

Parth: that's fine Randhir par..."

Chapter 6-B'

Awww! Thank you guys for all the support and understanding that, the chap got deleted and waiting for it!

Vardhan came out of his stance only after seeing a Kashish who presently looked like she was training for the Olympics leaving the campus mansion...and seeing a confused parth walking towards him, Vardhan got distracted...

Parth: sir...miss Kashish she...looked like she was in a hurry i mean she didn't even notice the fact that she dropped her phone down in the process, sir should i...

Vardhan: no that's fine parth i'll pass on the phone to Kashish, you go ahead with your classes...(said a Vardhan who himself dint really seem confident about his plan just then Vardhan felt the phone vibrating and apparently Kashish dint even disconnect the call and someone from the other end was saying...)

*on phone*

The other person (TOP): hello...HELloo...madam r u listening? ...hello...

(Seeing this Vardhan excused himself from parth and kept the phone to his ears)

Vardhan:hmm...(said an unsure Vardhan, who himself dint know what to say)

TOP: mujhe tho laga aapne phone kaat diya...woh kya hai na its his 2^nd attack in this week na and also keeping his age in mind, we hv shifted him to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and since the icu in this block is not available we shifted him to the ICU in the other block that block 5...

Vardhan: cut the phone after only having listened to this much... (Leaving the rejectionist to grumble)

Vardhan thought that this explained Kashish's strange behaviour so it was ka ka who was not well coz Vardhan knew kashish's parents passed away (he kind of gathered an extra bit off info about Kashish going through her CV and present files, but af-course Vardhan doesn't give a dam about Kashish right! ;)

So the only person to fit this place with regard to Kashish is kaka...

But all this made Vardhan realise that this girl hasn't changed one bit...considering her lack of responsibility she left in such a haste that her car was still outside and she dint have a phone...GOD! This girl...she doesn't even know the fact that the person she has gone to visit isn't even in the same block...

***Scene 2***

Randhir went to the lab, not by wish let's say by coincidence coz he was lost in his thoughts to such an extent and being emotionally weak in a long time he sat down under the desk, obviously thinking about the only girl who is very much capable on getting on every single nerve that existed in his freaking body...

*Randhir's POV*

His fingers in frustration involuntarily ruffled past his hair...DAMMIT! Sayukta! (said randhir banging his fist on the table)...with that the occurrence i.e., his last meeting with Sayukta reeled passed his mind...What the hell Randhir aakhir tumhari problem kya hai? Huh?...tum samajhthe kya ho apne aap ko...what does she mean by what i think of myself, YOU KNOW WHAT!!! I think of myself as the person that tries to help her and who always get ignorance and humiliation in return instead of gratitude!! ...abh kya muhje barbaad karke chodoge... i just wanted to ask her why she was heading to the boys hostel in fact i just saved her from being suspended and she speaks to me in such a manner!

Do you even realise how hard all of this is for me... (the pain, helplessness in those brown eyes quite literally made me... Why the hell do i feel so vulnerable and un-defeat able all at the same time only when im with you...Why do "you", "your words" and "your actions" have such an effect on me? WHY! Why! WHY!

(Randhir's tone rising with every "why" and finally his uncontrolled anger led him to push all the things from the desk in front of him.)

If you really don't like all that's happening (here that in accordance to randhir, refers to Sayukta's engagement) why don't you speak up?

Well! If she isn't speaking up it means she doesn't mind it happening right! (Thought Randhir making a very incorrect assumption)

With that; undoubted-ly Randhir was back to his JERK self.

***Scene 3***

There stood Kashish in the lobby of the appllo hospital

And there was no finger in her hand that did not tremble, imagining the possible ill-fated things that could happen and how much she would loose in her life within a few seconds...

...and there he was on a bed with white spreads and sheets in a room painted white and the only sound at all was the machines that indicated him being alive, he looked weaker than before his hands and face more pale yet one still wouldn't hesitate calling him a handsome after all how could one deny those blue piercing eyes, a person who taught Kashish so much about life right now was on a bed completely wired up and would she be able to bare him having gone from her life...

The mere thought was enough to leave her suffocated, and for a minute she felt so...so scared coz if it weren't for those machines in which he was wired would one be able to say life existed in this room?

Then again she knew him, he was a fighter and no one dared to challenge him, Just then she felt him moving his head from the left towards where Kashish stood (maybe having sensed her arrival)...

And looked at her and asked her...

What r you starring at?

Never did he leave a chance to surprise Kashish

KASHISH: I was starring at the fact that, somebody here considers himself superman! But still don't u think 2 attacks in a week is too much (said Kashish in pure mockery)

TOP: first i don't like these dirty wires they are just too annoying

Second : u'r late and i'm the one who gets a lecture (he said pouting & wining at the same time) ...

Kashish just smiled in return taking a sigh with relief...she just stood there starring at all that she had at present.

***Scene 4***

Sayukta walked into the room like a zombie and for the first time she felt thankful that no one was around (in her room) coz right now Sayukta needed some place to...to...breathe! and Live a life that was on grace period which could possibly end any time...Sayukta felt it was not her luck but life that was running out, her face tear stricken...In fact she dint have anymore tears to cry, every word that Randhir uttered echoed in her ear line by line...word by word only killing her more

Sayukta's POV

... Haan...mere wajah se hi tumhari engagement pre-pond hui...SO WHAT!! What is the big deal joh 10 mahine baad hone wala that woh agar ek haath mahine pehle ho gaya hai tho kya farak padtha hai?

...Vaise bhi tum konsa 10 mahino mein engineering khatham karne vali ho ...who was she kidding Randhir was actually right, what if he pre-pounded her engagement coz she couldn't possibly, finish mechanical engineering in 10 months...

Bullshit! Sayukta Agarwal sach tho yeh hai that you are a "spineless" person and your are scared to admit in front of your Dad that your passion lies in machines and not house hold chore and the fact that you want to become a mechanical engineer not a house wife!

So quit blaming others...And was i really spineless, does me not defying my dad become fear and not respect? But then again he said... IF you EVER in your life think about questioning Mithun's character or the sacredness of the relationship we share, i SWEAR TO GOD! ...I'll... (Sayukta was not jealous but sad; did Kashish mean so much to Randhir that her feeling and state of mind did not matter?)

Right then my concise kicked in asking me...what hell was i thinking...it might be true that my father was a weeny bit old fashioned even orthodox but there has never been a day that he has not loved me or cared for me and maybe his way of expressing such things was also different, who cares he was my dad i loved and care for him which is why i respect and not fear him.

And maybe i or my dreams are presently not on the heavier side of the coin but i wouldn't know where i stand if i don't try and unless i try how can i achieve or pursue my passion...

With that Sayukta wiped her tears off and this time for good, promising herself that she wouldn't stop trying till the very end!

And as far as Randhir Singh Shekhawath is concerned: I GIVE A DAM Randhir! (as to what you think)

Kashish was back at F.I.T.E. she stood in front of her cabin at exactly 2:55 pm and her whole living was at peace knowing "he" was fine! And by the time she was back it was already 2pm and she figured that the classes must have finished for the D.T. while Kashish thought all this she felt someone's presence in her cabin, that's strange thought Kashish. Dint the clerk chacha finish cleaning already and on entering Kashish was surprised to see...

See...

See...

See... no one there and just as she was about to conclude that she was hallucinating she saw her mobile phone on the table but Kashish found that strange coz she dint remember leaving the mobile on the table just then it struck Kashish that she dropped it on the way to the hospital in the hallway...and she guessed it was with Parth coz that was the person she interacted with last before leaving the campus...

And just as Kashish turned to pick her purse she jumped back seeing a person magically appear in front of her...it was none other than...

Kashish: Vardhan tum! Pagal ho Gaye ho mujhe dara diya and what on earth where you doing underneath my table?

(Vardhan however dint look moved one bit by Kashish's words)

Vardhan: Tho you got scared seeing me Miss Rathore...interesting very interesting...anyways i came to keep ur phone in your cabin...

(Now Vardhan's expression changed from usual serious to dead serious mode)

...how is he? I received the call from u'r phone the hospital receptionist said... anyways is he fine now?

Kashish was shocked she dint know what to tell Vardhan...

Kashish: i..i'm sorry, mein...i mean work...i

Vardhan: (ok!fine i wasn't the sweetest person on earth but i wouldn't keep her back when somebody's in the hospital thought an offended Vardhan)

Kashish: i...i should have let you know beforehand..i'm...

(God! Kashish felt like fainting) how did things reach here thought Kashish...but suddenly she felt as if she was...uh-o! Shit thought Kashish coz...she was "actually" passing out!

***Scene 6***

Randhir was back to his room only to be greeted by the (nonstop chatter in accordance to Randhir) excitement in human language of leaving for Ranchi tomorrow...Randhir decided that he needed to focus and Sayukta was least important thing in his life presently (un-known from the fact that all that was pretty much going to change in the upcoming two weeks)...just then somebody patted on his back breaking his trail of thoughts...it was...PaRtH! What on earth thought Randhir just before Randhir could voice his thoughts Parth placed Randhir's phone on his hand which presently seemed to be ringing... Randhir being Randhir took...no...no it was more like snatched the phone from his hand and saw the caller I.D. it was...

Randhir's POV

*On call*

..dad?...

Randhir: aap teekh ho na? Kuch jagada tho...

Dad: bade batameez ho bhai! Pehle hai' tho bol do apne dad se...

Randhir: dad! ( said Randhir in desperation to know whether everything was fine. )

Dad: are baba mein bilkul teekh hoon, tu bata kya haal hai...

Randhir: dad are u serious! Aapne ithni raath ko yeh jaan ne keliye phone kiya...what i'm upto?

Dad: Abh kya tujhse baath karne keliye mujhe kissi se' permission leni padegi? ... aur vaise bhi i called you coz theri bohoth yaad aa rahi thi...tu ghar aayega nahi...tho call karne kea lava mera paas aur koi chara bhi tho nahi hai...

Randhir: (Randhir felt bad for his outburst) mera woh mathlab nahi tha...anyways what r u doing...

Dad: anyways ke bache u tell me what "u" r doing coz u look all happy these days...and before u ask me how i came to know let me tell you...i hv my sources...

Randhir: nothing like that dad said a smug Randhir...actually...(just when Randhir about to continue with what he said he paused...and continued saying)...actually we are leaving to Ranchi for training for D.T. tho its going to be great na...thats...

Dad: okay if you say so...well how long are you gonna be gone?

Randhir: 2 weeks

Dad: fine but take care and we'll meet up after your training kay...

Randhir: okay...you too ...take care of yourself...

Dad: bye

(with that Randhir cut the call)

After disconnecting the call Randhir thought about what he told his dad about him being happy... thinking should i tell dad about Mithun...no..no..thought Randhir he still remembered his outburst when Randhir spoke about Sayukta...u know the "mujhe uski zaroorath hai" part...thus he decided it was not such a great idea coz Randhir was aware of his dad's insecurities as far as Randhir was concerened...so keeping his thoughts to himself he made Ranchi trip the reason.

With that Randhir jumped on to the bed coz he had enough drama for the day...just then Randhir remembered shit! Mithun'...

***Scene 7***

Kashish!! Called out Vardhan seeing her faint...Kashish!...just as she was about to fall Vardhan caught hold of her wrist and she was on the other side of where Vardhan stood but safe, coz Vardhan had caught hold of her, he observed her face in the same position...her shiny black hair had grown longer, her long eye lashes still very much capable of distracting people, her curves which was enhanced due to her height, her milky smooth dusky skin and last but not the least her big brown almond eyes which even today was as captivating as before...yet he still missed those square shaped big glasses she wore and every time he would call them square shaped glasses she would argue saying they were rectangular in shape and they were spectacles , he still thought she looked cute in them but Vardhan also realised that as her glasses had gone now her bold features where quite evident now...breaking his trail of thoughts was the fact that Kashish was still hanging around (quite literally) and when he pulled her towards himself, Kashish fell right onto Vardhan's chest, in a long time Vardhan had felt...different...he had to get her some first aid thought Vardhan getting back to his senses...Vardhan picked her up in his arm and walked out in the empty corridor coming out of Kashish's cabin, no doubt it was djvu...

***Flashback***

There stood both of them in the same cabin 12 years ago only difference was that their heads were bent down listening to a lecture that the then professor and now dean was giving to them...

Dean speaking...

U both! I cannot believe the fact that the topers of my campus are behaving like this...where you 2 actually bunking mr. Chadda's classes?

I absolutely don't expect such behaviour from you people and Vardhan you?

Ok the boys i understand but what about u Kashish...and weren't you supposed to be taking charge of cultural affairs then how did you end up hear?

Vardhan: sir actually...(suddenly it was as if someone was giggling it was none other than Kabir he was in the worst shape actually coz he was not even allowed to come in to the cabin and he was suspended for 3 days for throwing ink on mr. Chadda's shirt)

(oh! Well a glare from professor fixed him)

And Vardhan parallelly glared at Kashish who he belied was responsible for all this... Kashish glared back and they were literally having an eye fight...just then professor left the cabin saying...you both detention for a week and Kabir suspension for 3 days and 2 weeks detention.

But sir...said all of them in chorus only to see professor leave the cabin.

Everything is your fault screamed Kashish

Vardhan: What on earth! How is this all my fault i was not the one that throwing water around

Kashish: well! I wasn't the one to make the plan in the very first place.

Vardhan: i think u hv a brain if you were so un-interested why did u join us at the first place?

Kashish:but...but...you know what tumhara mooh na sirf hum sabke saamne chaltha hai...aur...agar ithni hi himmath hai tho woh vala dare karke dikhao jo Kabir ne diya tha...haan!

Vardhan: chashmish tumhe pata bhi nahi hai dare kya hai? Tumne tho teekh se suna bhi...

Kashish: Vardhan maan kyun nahi lethe ur scared

Vardhan: i'm not!

Kashish: prove it

Vardhan: par..

Kashish: PHATTU!

Vardhan: what! Kya..kya kaha tumne...

Kashish: phattu...haan ho tum phattu!

(well, that was pretty much enough motivation for Vardhan 2 do the dare)

With that Vardhan started moving towards Kashish...now Kashish was scared, why was he coming forward wondered Kashish...but he dint stop moving forward...with every step Vardhan took Kashish's heart rate increased, Kashish thought if Vardhan came forward any more her heart would jump out...

The next thing she knew Vardhan had scooped her in her hands and he was walking out of the cabin with her...

Kashish: v...vardhan kya kar rahe ho neeche utharo..

Vardhan: yaar chashmish tum badi unsteady ho...mein tho wahi kar raha hoon jo tumne kaha

Kashish: kya mathlab maine aisa kuch nahi kaha Vardhan chodo mujhe koi dekh lega...let go!(with every passing minute kashish only turned more crimson red)

Vardhan: are! Yahi tho Kabir ka dare tha...(said Vardhan in a wicked manner & and with a sheepish grin) infact dare yahin pein khatam nahi hota i hv to take a round of the whole campus in the same way i.e., with u in my arms...

Kashish: KYA!!!! (Screamed Kashish)

*End of flashback*

Vardhan still remembered everything like it was yesterday...the fact that remained un-known to Kashish was that when he commenced towards Kashish it was not her but his heart rate also picked up and that too ERRATICALLY!

...Vardhan was walking through the same corridor in the same manner with the same person...the only difference remains he had also changed...

But he had to admit Kashish looked cute when she blushed...blush made Vardhan take a look at Kashish's face who even now was unconscious, Vardhan noticed that Kashish looked un usually pale...just as Vardhan was wondering why his attention went to the stain on the corridor wall, it was the same place where Kashish fell...oh god this girl! Said a very frustrated and concerned Vardhan glancing at Kashish's foot it was bleeding and she dint even know it!

Vardhan put Kashish on the back seat (ALONE!!) and drove off from F.I.T.E
