Well I commented on the blog but no harm in repeating so in short "This is beautiful." You are put across the much needed angles of IPK which the creative team always overlooked.

I mean a scary and broody man changing into an affectionate and carring man for one person he claim to hate and nobody simply nobody saw that change in him or her for that matter.

Khushi's changes was to overlooked by her family. Her extra talks or curses for her laad governor. Even her sister missed it who supposed to know everything as Khushi only shared with her.

This surely will be an interesting read with reliving IPK from new angles.

Shashi, my award for the best father goes to him. He fulfilled his every duty to her dearest daughter as far as he could and loved her Unconditionally, trusted n believed her when no one else did.

I love his character.

Continue his side of story more, please.

What I love about your One Shots is how you perfectly capture a story in a handful of words alongside a myriad of tumultuous emotions.

Shashi Gupta was a severly undervalued character in IPK. And his bond with Khushi beautifully understated. A dil ka rishta does not need the crass affirmation of a blood relation. Shashi devotedly loved Khushi for who she was, and a father - daughter bond is amazingly special. It is one of silent solidarity, friendship, protection, love; and these emotions are mirrored in a father and a daughter's actions in equal measures. A father is the first man a daughter will learn to love irrevocably in her life and so it is only natural for him to be so attuned to his own daughters heart.

This OS is a beautiful realisation captured by your words
