He reached the apartment , unlocked the door and then
went to his room Keeping the loaded gun in his wadrobe
drawer , he heard the door bell ring. He hurriedly closed
the drawer and went to open the door.

Chapter 4

Khushi was as usual late, but not too late. The photoshoot was done smoothly. It was a special day for their agency , and the way their work was going well , Ria mam came and announced

"I am really happy today . Today our agency completes its 5^th birthday, so tonight... It calls for a celebration. So guys aap sabke itne mehnat ki wajah se aaj hum yaha pahuch paye hai... we are India's one of the top listed photography agency. So it's a party from myside tonight, and I want each and everybody to come , so go get ready... meet you guys in the club at sharp 8."

As soon as Ria mam announced about the party both Khushi and Lavana started jumping , yes afterall they were the party freaks and started discussing about what to wear etc etc.

Arnav was standing at one corner and was talking with Aman, when Khushi walked to him and said

"Arnav , main aur Lavanya shopping ke liye ja rahe hai... so I thought why don't you take my car and go back home ... La will drop me direct from the shopping and I don't want my car to be left behind here."

"Ok !! fine.. I don't have any problem."

And she gave him the car keys and turned to leave with La. Arnav meanwhile gave Aman a meaningful look, and as soon as Aman nodded Arnav left. He went to the car and maintaining a safe distance drove peacefully behind La's car , till the mall. He saw them park the car and walk inside the mall. He looked at his watch for once and then kept waiting outside. After an hour or so , he saw them coming out , and then he drove away towards her apartment.

He reached the apartment , unlocked the door and then went to his room Keeping the loaded gun in his wadrobe drawer , he heard the door bell ring. He hurriedly closed the drawer and went to open the door.

She smiled seeing him and said

"It feels great when after so much shopping you come home , and don't have to search for the keys and make a fuss about opening the door.. just a single press on the bell and there you go.. Thanks Arnav..."

Arnav nodded and said

"Thanks to you... Afterall you are the one who allowed me to stay here."

And she laughed and walking inside said

"Mai.. itni tired hogayi hoon na... ummm.. m going to take a nap... you have your space."

"Sure !!!" and soon Khushi left for her room.

Arnav walked back to his room and shutting the door and locking it from inside, took out his phone and looking towards the photo dialed a no.

"Hello"

"Di ??? hows you???"

"Chote !!! finally tumhe humari yaad aa hi gayi..."

"Di hum ne kal raat ko hi baat kit hi..."

"Haan haan hum jante hai... actually tumhe dekhe kitne din hogaye hai... everybody is missing you so much."

"Di..."

"Kya Di?? Ok !!! I know tum kisi kaam ke liye gaye ho.. but as sual tum hume nahi bataoge and as usual I should not disturb you... aur na hi mai tumhe khud se phone kar sakti hoon.. etc etc.."

"Di please aap emotional mat ho... jaise hi mera kaam khatam ho jayega.. I will come back... btw Di jija ji kahan hai????"

"Wo... wo toh yehi hai but unko bhi kaam ka bahut pressure hai... roj ghar aate aate late night ho jata hai... par kyu???"

"No di... tabhi you are missing me so much... jija ji busy hai na.." he said bringing a teasing tome to his voice..

"Chote ??? tumm..." se said in a complaing tone...

"Ok Di bye... I have to go... you take care and baki sabka bhi khayal rakhna specially nani ka... I will call you later."

"Please chote tum hi aapna khayal rakhna aur sambhal kar rakhna... tum jante ho family k sab tum par kitna dependent hai..."

"Di relax.. mujhe kuch nahi hoga bye..."

And saying this he disconnected the phone and changed the sim and sat down on the bed , thinking something.

After 5 mins he dialed another no.

"Hello... Arnav here..."

"Haan sab thik chal raha hai... the work is going good..."

"Nahi use mujh par shak nahi hua hai... don't worry.."

"What ??? yeh kya keh rahe hai aap???"

"But ???"

"I don't know... I have..."

"Ya ya.. I know. But she is not like other girls... she is not so simple like others.."

"Ok I will see what I can do..."

"Ya I will try..."

"Yes..."

And saying this he kept the phone down and went up to the mirror and looking at his reflection and then towards the door said

"How wioll I do it... its getting tough for me..."

He sighed and said

"If there is any other way than this.. then I would loe to choose that.. lets see what happens now."

And with that picking up a towel he went for a shower.

After getting fresh , he walked out of his room wearing a white Tee and tracks. He went towards her rom and knocked at her door and heard a

"Come in..."

He opened the door and peeping his head inside , saw her under the blanket , looking all messy , and he paying no heed said

"M making coffee would you like to have some???"

"Awww.. sure and please make it with a double dose of milk and sugar."

He nodded and closing the door back went to the kitchen .

He made two cups of coffees and taking out few chocolate cookies , kept them on the tray6 and with the things settled down on the sofa and switched on the Tv. After few minutes , she came out , her hairs all messed p , like a birds nest, no trace of makeup on her face ,wearing an all girlie top and shorts. She smiled seeing the cup of hot coffee and almost ran and sat down on the couch. He handing her the cup said

"You look different."

She wihile picking up a cookie said

"Ya I know.. but don't tell it to anyone... nobody have seen me like this.."

"Ok !!!" he nodded and went back to looking Tv.

She munching a cookie said

"As per as I can remember mere fridge mein or kitchen mein all yeh sab..."

"Ya kuch nahi tha... I did a little bit shopping.. aakhir mujhe bhi yaha rehna hai.. hope you don't mind."

She waving her hand said

"No ! No ! isme bhi koi maind karta hai... btw I really took a good decision by letting you stay here.."

"I bet..." that was the only thing he said , looking all serious.

She then looking towads the Tv screen sipped from her mug and licking her lips said

"Wow Arnav.. this is amazing.. kya coffee banate ho tum... its so.. ahhh awesome..."

He smiled seeing her reaction and she said

"Wait a sec tum black coffee pee rahe ho ???"

He looking at his cup and then at her nodded as a matter of fact

"Yucks!!!! Kitna karwa hota hai... how do you drink ???"

"Its good for health Khushi.."

"Mr. Health conscious.." he raised an eyebrow and she continued

"Mere dad bhi back coffee peete hai.. actually mujhe lagta hai.. saare high profile.. sophisticated log yehi peete hai.. so maine bhi ek bar tey kiya tha .. but the result was... I died..."

He looked at her a bit confused and now she as of a matter of fact said

"Literally!!!!" and he nodded understanding her statement and she continued

"Kitnaaa karwa hota hai... how do you drink.. maine toh... decide kar liya tha... bhar mein gayi sophisticacy... my excess milk normal coffee is better for me.."

He at this chuckled and said

"Itna bhi karwa nahi hai.. actually its about habit.. peete peete aadat ho jati hai.."

"Ok baba !! but m not going to go into that habit..."

And saying this she looked at the tv screen and said

"You are watching news ??? that also business ??? tumhe kaun sa business karna hai..."

"Mujhe business nahi karna hai but I still like watching news.."

"Ok ! ok!"

And that's when her phone started ringing, she looked at the screen and said I will be back.

He saw her walking towards the balcony , and then turned his attention towards the Tv.

After a while she came back and flopped down on the couch, he looked at her but didn't say anything , she looked at him and said

"Ajib ho... atleast ask what happened..."

"oh ! ok... what happened Khushi.. you ok ???"

"Nooo mera break up hogaya..."

"Huh ??"

And that was enough to get her started

"Ya Ria mam ne call kiya aur bataya .."

"That tumhara breakup hogaya hai???" he asked innocently...

"Obviously no... let me continue.. haan toh Ria mam called and she told that we have to go the party in pairs, so I called my boy friend , and he was with some other girl , and he told that he was about to call me, and so brokeup with me..."

"ok !!!"

"What ok ??? Cant you sympathise with me.."

"Ummm bura hua,,, don't worry you will get someone else... a good oy friend who will be better than this one.."

"Hmmm... but aab mai party mein kaise jayungi..."

And he made a sad face , short of sympatising with her , and that's when her face lit up , as if a 100 watt buolb was just switched on

"Idea... tum chal rahe ho mere saath party mein.."

"Mai ??" he said looking confused

"Ya tumhari bhi koi date nahi hai..."

"But Khushi mi.."

"Ya you... and waise bhi tum mere assistant ho tumhara kaam hai mere ordes mana.. so you are coming with me..."

"Ok ! fine..."

"Ye ok now.. m going to get ready tum bhi ready ho jao..."

"Yes sure.."

And with that she left , he went back to the kitchen kept the cups in the snk and looked at his watch and said

"Lets get started.. Here starts the 1^st step."

And walked back to his room.

Precap :

Arnav hearing this narrowed his eyes and said

"Should I take it as a compliment ???"

"Obviously you should.." she said standing up.. and then Arnav said something ,she was least expecting

"Would you mind wearing something down..."

Khushi looked at herself and then sticking out her tongue she said

"Mai bhul gayi thi.. ki ghar mein tum bhi ho..." and then making a naughty face and walking closer to him said

"Btw are my legs too distracting???" Now Arnav was not expecting this question , but he answered...
