Kria was called to the court. She got up uncomfortably and walked there. She entered and saw the courtiers sitting on their seat.
She looked up for a second and saw Rey's dad sitting. She gulped and looked down.
"So you are the one who helped my daughter escape?"
Kria remained silent.
"I am asking you something!"
He roared in anger. Kria moved few steps away , but was pushed forward by two people. She fell on her knees.
"Did you let my daughter stay at your house?"
"Ye-yes."
She suddenly got a whip on her back and she felt herself getting weak. She fell down.
This was another punishment given to people who could survive the cage , with each whip their power would drain.
The hit wouldn't be hard but the impact would make the person extremely weak , whenever they would lose some power , pain would run throughout their body.
"Did you know she was a vampire?"
"Ye-yes!"
Another whip. Tears of blood fell from her eyes. Suddenly the door flung open.
"Father!"
Rey's voice roared in the court.
"She did not know Sharon was the princess. She became a vampire few months back!"
Rey yelled.
There was an eerie silence in the court. Everybody could feel the heat rising.
"Is it true?"
"Yes!"
Sharon's voice was heard from the door. She entered.
"She was the girl who was made a vampire by Rey bro! You are not so unjust dad , what happened to you!"
"Well, If it's about my daughter , I will not spare the person any explanation."
"Now I have the right to decide the punishment Dad , not you." , Rey spoke gritting his teeth.
Sharon ran to Kria , who was in extreme pain.
"I am so sorry Kria."
Ranvijay got up and made his way to Kria and Sharon. Sharon moved away , he knelt down beside her and ran his hand on the area where she was beaten.
The pain lessened and kria felt her powers come back.
"Forgive me dear , I thought you had helped Sharon."
Sharon helped kria sit , a cloth was wrapped around Kria who looked exhausted, but she managed to speak.
"It's fine sir."

Kria opened her eyes , she had fallen unconscious. Urgh! She got up and saw Sharon , she was wearing a beautiful gown and her hair was tied in a bun with few strands coming out in a curls.
Kria realized she was in Sharon's room and sat up.
"Finally you are awake! My so called to be fiance is coming for dinner. I had to get ready , urgh! Anyways , kria even you have to come with us. Dad has called you as he really feels guilty and of course I wanted my best friend to be there."
"Sharon , I don't..."
"You are coming! And here wear this gown."
Kria cursed her.
"Ssh , you can't curse the princess."
"Does it look like I care?"
"Yeah , anyways Rey bro will never punish you."
"Excuse me! I think I am the only one he loves to punish."
"Yeah , if he really loves to punish you , he wouldn't have barged into the court like that. He never does that!"
Kria shrugged.
"He is an asshole and this fact won't change."
Kria changed into the gown. She let her hair remain open and came out.
She saw Rey sitting on the bed.
"Sharon! How much time do you..."
He stopped speaking when he saw kria. He looked at her.
"Sharon's outside in her garden."
"Uh.."
Kria looked here and there sensing his piercing gaze on her.
Sharon came inside , she cleared her throat.
"Bro?"
"Sharon! Where were you huh?"
"Garden."
"Are you ready?"
Sharon nods. She turned to Kria and smiled. Kria rolled her eyes.

Swayam and his family had arrived. Sharon was coming out, kria behind her , the two girls came there.
"This is Sharon." , Anjali , Sharey's mom , said.
Swayam smiled at her and kissed the back of her hand. Sharon blushed and looked down.
"And this is Kria , her friend who had helped her stay fine when she was gone."
Swayam looked up , kria was looking down. Swayam's eyes went wide in shock.
Many questions rang in his mind , how did she turn into a vampire , how did she know Sharon , etc.
His thoughts were broken , when Kria's eyes met his. Her eyes held anger in them.
"Kria?"
Swayam whispered in shock. Kria faked a smile.
"That's my name , your highness."
Sharon unaware of the intensity of the situation exclaimed in shock.
"I thought you two will have a typical best friend re-union."
"You two know each other?"
They heard Swayam's mother ask in confusion.
"No!", Kria spoke.
"Yes!" , Swayam spoke.
Kria gave him a look which meant he needed to shut up. Swayam smirked. This girl will never change.
"Let's talk about all this later , shall we?"
Swayam spoke. All sat down , the food was served.
Kria looked up and saw Rey raising an eye. Kria shrugged and ate quietly.

She was walking through the forest , looking around when her eyes fell on few guys around the corner.
What are they doing here!
She thought to herself. They look at her , an evil smirk formed on their lips.
Kria rolled her eyes and walked ahead. She could sense them following her , she turned and pushed the guy with so much force that he hit the tree and it broke , it fell right beside the guy.
She looked at the other guys who fled away in fright.
"Wow! You have some fighting skills."
Kria looked up to see Swayam. He went to the guy and healed him.
"Come on , let's go before he wakes up."
He held Kria's hand and took her away.
"Leave my hand!"
"Or what?"
Kria pushed him , swayam stumbled. He looked at her raising an eye.
"You are not of royal blood , how come you have so much power?"
"None of your business Swayam."
"How did you turn into one of us?"
"None of your business."
"Kria!"
Swayam raised an eye. Kria ran as fast as she could but Swayam caught up with her. He held her arm.
"Kria don't test my patience!"
"Get the hell out of my life Swayam! Who the hell do you think you are huh? Whenever you wish you'll come and then leave!"
"Kria. I didn't want you to see this monster side of mine!"
"Stop giving excuses. Just go from here."
"Kri.."
He stopped. He could hear footsteps.
"Someone's here."
He whispered.
"Then move away , cause I don't want to go in the cage or get whipped once more."
"What!"
Swayam shouted. Kria moved back due to the loud voice and force. Kria saw Sharon and Rey coming from one side.
"Please go.."
Kria begged.
"Why did they do that?"
Swayam asked , anger raising inside him. Kria looked at him , she very well knew how swayam became when he was angry especially in matters related to her , but now he was a king vampire , how would he react! She shuddered in fear.
"Why!"
The force from his voice was so hard that kria almost hit the tree.
"Swayam!"
Rey's voice roared. Sharon ran to Kria and held her arm.
"Are you fine?"
Kria nods and looked at Swayam.
"What the hell do you think , you are doing?"
No reply. Rey turned him.
"I am talking to you!"
"I won't ever marry the girl , whose brother hurt her.."
He points at kria.
"Cause that girl is like a sister to me!"
And he zoomed away , leaving the three stunned.

"Care to explain?"
Anjali spoke to Kria , who was looking down.
They were in the family room.
"Kria , see we know Swayam had a crazy life before he entered this world of vampires. If you were one of his ex girlfriends..."
Kria couldn't help but giggle.
"Please forgive me , actually you are wrong. He did not have many girlfriends , in all his life he had i guess only 3 girlfriends."
"And were you the last girlfriend?"
"No!"
Kria replied honestly.
"Me and swayam were in the same orphanage. I went there when I was around 3 , that's when I met him. He is my best friend and like an elder brother to me. That's it."
"Why did you deny knowing him?"
"Because , two months before I became a vampire he disappeared. He had promised me that he'll never leave like my parents , but he did. I tried to find him and I knew a club where he used to go. I went there and.."
Kria stopped speaking. Rey held his head as the flashes came in both their minds.
"And when I was returning , I became a vampire."
Her last words were said coldly. Rey looked at kria.
"Wow! I never knew swayam went to those places."
"No! That area was behind the club."
"Okay. So he treats you like his little sister only right? Not more than that?"
"Why? Jealous?"
Kria smirked raising an eye , Rey glared at her.
"Nope! Just concerned about my little sister."
"Oh! Don't worry even swayam was concerned about his sister."
Anjali cleared her throat.
"If you two have finished your mind talk can I speak?"
Kriyaansh look at her , with their eyes wide.
"What! I have the power to hear mind conversations between people. Rey's wife will also have this power."
After a moment of silence.
"So Kria , what will we have to do for swayam to re-consider the proposal?"
"I don't know. Once his girlfriend had taunted me and well that was the last time she saw him."
Ranvijay stood up and spoke in anger.
"So now he will break the pact of his and Sharon's marriage, because of a mere vampire who is not even blood related!"
Kria felt a a bit bad hearing that . A man entered.
"Sorry to disturb , but King Swayam is arriving."
"Here comes your savior!"
"Shut up!"
"Exactly Reyaansh , your a king behave like one."
Anjali said sternly to which Kria chuckled. Rey gave her a glare.
"Exactly! Kria deserves a punishment."
Now Anjali spoke in their mind.
"Rey please be quiet! Kria , ignore his words. Your now a part of our family , since you helped Sharon and are her backbone."
"Thanks , but..."
"Ignore Ranvijay , he is a bit short tempered in matters related to Sharon."
Rey rolled his eyes. Swayam entered , two guards behind him.
"I need to speak to Kria! Alone."
"I don't want to speak to you."
"You have to!"
"No."
Sharon came to kria.
"Kria , give him a chance to explain. You know it is always difficult for a person to accept that they belong to a royal family of vampires! Even I had disappeared from my friend circle for months. Come on."
"If he hadn't gone , I would have never been pushed into this life!"
Kria yelled in anger.
"Oh sorry this is not a life! I am dead. You know Sharon , ever since my parent's died mysteriously , I was hell scared of all this immortal creatures , and today because of him I am one of them!"
"How can you blame me when some one else made you one? How can you blame me if an idiot hungry vampire forgot that he was making you a vampire!"
Swayam shouted. Rey got up in anger.
"I am NOT an idiot hungry vampire!"
Swayam looked at Rey and then at Kria.
"That explains the power. Why did you do this to her?" , Swayam asked in anger.
"Let's not make him guilty when all he did was help me."
"Wait , Rey didn't help you. He clearly said you were in those streets and he was angry so in anger..." , Ranvijay said.
"He lied."
Kria looked down. Rey hit his forehead.
"I had told you not to tell anybody." , Rey roared.
"I have to! It's about time , they know the truth."
"What truth?" , Sharon asked.
"Wait , what streets?" , Swayam interrupted. Kria looked at him.
"Kria! You didn't go there , did you?" , Swayam spoke in horror.
"That place is filled with insane people!"
He yelled.
"What had happened? Reyaansh tell me , what did they do?" , Swayam spoke tensed.
"Kria should be the one telling you. Not me!"
Kria looked down. She closed her eyes.
"I was raped by them! They stabbed me thrice , hit me and did every possible thing to break a girl."
The whole place was silent.
"I was dying, I thought I would never be able to get justice. And that's when Rey came , he was healing me , but his powers don't work till the time the person does not want to get healed and I didn't wanna get healed. I had muttered Revenge and he made me a vampire so that I could live and get my justice. I was put into the cage because I inhumanely killed the two guys responsible , Rey healed them but killed them again."
"Wh-why d-did you go there?" , Swayam whispered.
"I had told you not to!" , he yelled.
"I had to find you!" , Kria yelled back.
"I had lost my family Swayam and I didn't wanna lose my brother."
"Kria , you could have waited. I came back. But you were gone."
"I was there , you just didn't try to find me."
Swayam remained silent. Rey looked at Kria , he could see the human side of Kria.
Nobody except him knew that Kria still had some life left. She had strong emotions because a part of her was still living.
About Swayam's emotions , when a person is emotionally attached to another person , the emotional bond remains strong even if they become a vampire.
"I am sorry.", Swayam said.
"I want to go back!"
Rey's head shot to Kria's direction. Why was she telling him this and that's when he realized she was talking to herself but even thinking about him so he could hear her.
"Enough you two! This is a court not your house. Swayam , you can talk to her later. Kria , you have already created a lot of tensions so it's better you leave!"
Kria didn't speak a word and went away.

Kria was reading a novel , when the bell rang. She opened the door and saw Rey.
"Are you fine?"
Kria looked at him , raising an eye.
"Who are you? Are you some vampire who changed into Rey's form?"
Rey chuckled.
"Oh freak! Are you going to kidnap me? But why would you do that , I would be more powerful! Oh wait , are you swayam?"
"Gosh! Shut up. It's me Reyaansh."
"How do I believe you? He never laughs nor does he out of everyone asks me about my well-being!"
"Woah! How do I make you believe I am Rey?"
Kria closed her eyes and remembered the memories. Then she spoke in her mind.
"Reyaansh , I guess there is a duplicate of yours in front of me."
"It's me Kria!"
Kria had her eyes went wide. She nods and let him in.
"What brings you here?"
"Your and swayam's conversation. You were so lost , you started mind talking with me without you knowing it!"
"Oh! So that is why you suddenly interrupted and accused me."
"Yeah. But you are bringing problems."
Kria went to her room and bought out an album. She gave it to Rey who went through it , it was her childhood pictures with Swayam.
"He has been with me since forever , he left suddenly , how can you expect us not to react so harshly when we are meeting so suddenly? I am sorry for bringing problems for your sister's wedding , I am sorry for blurting out the truth , I am sorry for going to the street , I would have never become a vampire!"
"Kria I didn't mean that."
"You meant it. You regret making me a vampire because all I did was bring problems in your kingdom."
Rey pulled her harshly to her , he had held her wrist so tight that if it was a normal human being instead of kria they would have got a bad sprain.
Kria looked at him as he pressed his lips with hers. Kria was shocked but replied back.
He pulled back. Kria's lower lip had started bleeding.
"You are harsh!"
She spoke , as Rey rubbed the blood away. He pulled her into a kiss again , this time more slower.
He picked Kria up , she was stunned , he continued kissing her , when he placed her on her bed and lied beside her.
"Tell me about your life Kria! I want to know every damn thing about you."
