Part 20 (LAST PART)
When the Police reached Shantivan with an injured Arnav and Khushi, the family stood shocked at their place. Nani was asking them how it happened and what is the Police doing in their house but none of them answered her. The Police were searching the whole house to find Astha. Shyam and Anjali also were surprised to see Arnav facing such a mishap. They could see the injuries on his body and it seemed like someone had hit him.
Arnav: Where is She?
Anjali: She? Chotte whom are you asking for?
Arnav: Astha Raizada . Where the hell is she?
Nani: She is not at home but what kind of tone is that Arnav? Dont forget she is your mother.
Arnav: NO SHE IS NOT MY MOTHER.
He screamed in anger confusing the family again.
Arnav: A mother can never plan to kill her Child. So Astha Raizada cannot be my mother. She was just my father's second wife and nothing else.
Anjali: KILL? You mean mumma did all this with you? Chotte I am sure you are mistaken.
Aman was also standing there with the family and he immediately showed them the Proofs. The conversation that Astha had with Roy made their doubts clear. None of them could believe it so easily but then neither can they avoid it.
Police: She is not here. Where else can she go?
Arnav: She must be with that Roy discussing how to disburse that money which the Will contains. The Guest House. THats the only place she keeps running her activities from. We should check there.
Police: Okay Mr Raizada, you dont have to worry now. We will find her and no one can save her from getting arrested.
Arnav: I am coming with you.
Khushi: No Arnav. You are not well. You need to treat your wounds first.
Arnav: Khushi I cannot wait to see her getting the punishment. These wounds will heal some day but the pain that she gave will never be erased. I want to know what she had in her mind and why she wanted to destroy her own people?
Khushi: Theek hai, I will also come along.
Arnav: No you wont. It can be risky.
Khushi: You think I care for that? Nahi Arnav. I can cross any path to safeguard you. I wont allow you to go alone with the police. PLease take me
Arnav could not deny her now. He agreed asking his Jeejaji to be cautious and if Astha comes back home then to ensure the police are informed about it.

Guest House
Astha and Roy toasted the drinks and were waiting for the good news to come from their men who were sent to Kill Arnav.
Roy : Truely Shaatir you are Mrs Raizada. WHat a game you played with your that Shashi Gupta to get your husband's will from him. Really good one.
Astha: Roy, I cannot tell you how much efforts I put in this play of mine. The day my husband died I was upset that I lost a huge support but he was never worth it. He only knew one thing and that was to keep an eye on me and my motives. Good that he suicided. Or else how would I get so much of freedom in my family? But that Shashi Gupta's interruption on the funeral of my husband made everything worst. I initially asked him to give me the Will and he can get his share too but he was so loyal to his dead friend , that he never was ready to support me.
Roy : But how did you convince your Son that Shashi Gupta was responsible for all that happened?
Astha: It was very simple Roy. Arnav was young and luckily I saw him coming towards the same room where I was arguing with Shashi Gupta for the Will. So seeing Chotte there I turned the tables. I started pleading Shashi to show Chotte that I was fighting for my rights, my children's rights. Seeing me begging for the papers of will Chotte thought Shashi was wrong and purposely holding our share of property. That was the first step I played and later on as days passed, everything became simpler. I was continuously feeding venom in Chotte's mind for that Shashi Gupta because I knew a day would come when I will force Shashi to get the Will back to me and that day, my Chotte will be fully ready to trust me on that WIll and hand it to me. Like he did today. He handed me the Will thinking I will safeguard it because I fought my entire life for it. Little did he knew that I fought for my needs not his or that family's.
Someone clapped hands from the other corner of the room scaring Asha and then even Roy as to know who heard their talks. They never expected to see Arnav alive and that too here with the Police. The Police scattered in the room to ensure the culprits have no chance to escape.
Arnav had heard everything whatever Astha and Roy talked and the Police also had noted down everything she just confessed. Astha could feel her game was finally over . Khushi was looking at Astha angrily and Arnav was walking towards her.
Arnav: I always knew you have a devil mind Astha Raizada but never thought you will be so cruel to plan your own son's murder. Shocked to see me alive ?Didnt expect right ?
Astha was quiet.
Arnav: How couldnt I see your true face and intentions before? Just for money you were ready to kill me? I know I am not your Son neither I ever gave you the respect of a mother, but dont forget that even you never wanted to shower a mother's love on me and DI. Paapa married you for us Astha Raizada. And you could never give us anything expect cheating us all everytime. For what? A bunch of notes? Thats what you did all this for, isnt it?
Astha was stil quiet because she was not getting any words to defend herself.
Arnav: Why are you quiet now?Speak Dammit
He shook her and she shoved his hands back.
Astha : Yes i did. I did all this for money because thats what everyone does here in this society. I had my own dreams and aspirations which your father broke by marrying me. I wanted rich life and I got it from your father but other than that I also needed freedom to chose my path and all he wanted to do was cage me in his house with you two kids. I was suffocating there with you all and your father's death finally helped me breathe again but that time my only hinderance was Shashi Gupta.
Khushi came forward wiping her tears because there was no use in shedding them anymore.
Khushi: And so you blamed him for things he never did. ? How can a woman be so cruel ? But wait a minute, I still didnt get why you got me in your family as your Bahu? What was that plan which you wished to implement keeping me as a Bait. I remember you told me once that my looks and the mole I have on my cheek will help you fulfil your intentions of getting me in your family. What was it?
Astha started to laugh loudly as if she really had lost her senses hearing Khushi's doubt.
Astha: Ohh I cant believe how crooked fate is. I know Khushi . I know very clearly why I got you in my family and what I wanted you to do for me but know what? I didnt had to do anything, you unknowingly did all that though not worthy enough for my plan to succeed. Isnt that strange?
Arnav: Speak to the piont Astha Raizada because you dont have much time.
Astha frowned at her Son and then thought of telling the truth to them
Astha: For Shashi Gupta, I got you in this house and in my family. I knew he had lost his daughter years back and I also knew he was searching her. So I made a plan. If I found that girl, I can blackmail him with the name of his daughter so that he gives me my WILL back and this way everything will be as per my demands. But it was not easy to find that one girl in such a big country, I didnt even know if she was alive. So I thought it the other way. I wanted any girl who could resemble that daughter of his. I had seen her photo year back and since then I was searching for a girl with those features. Fate got me in Mumbai where I saw you suiciding Khushi. I had no interest in saving anybody's life like that but I still did and God gave me the fruits I desired. Coincidently your name was KHUSHI, which was also the name of Shashi's daughter. ANd not just that but you too had the same features like his daughter should have had if she was alive. So I thought of playing my game there and hence claiming you to be my Bahu, I got you in this family, knowing you were been sold by your Step father to someone and that you had no choice but to agree to my wish.
Arnav was very frustrated.
Arnav: Game Game Game. You always played games with everyone of us. What did it give you finally? You and this Roy will be punished for every crime you did on us. I will ensure you will face the worst behind the walls.
THe police by this time had searched the WILL in this farm house which was in the room upstairs. Astha was arrested before Arnav and Khushi's eyes along with Roy and they both were taken away from there. Khushi was devastated witnessing all this. SHe couldnt believe people like her even exist in this world. She hugged Arnav tight because she knew he was equally upset just like her.

3 months later
The Court cases had kept the family busy and finally Astha got what she deserved . She was sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment. The family was depressed but then she really had done wicked things that none of them could forget. Arnav had apolozised to Shashi Gupta and accepted him as his father in law. Khsuhi got her real father back and she was on top of the world. Anjali and Shyam returned back to their country along with Anshu blessing Arnav and Khushi for a happy married life. Nani's health was now becoming fine by the care taken by Khushi, the real bahu of this house now.
Everything was running as normal as it had to be. But these 3 months in Arnav and Khushi's life were very crucial and tiring. None of them could spend good time with each other because of all this mess and the court proceedings. It did get a small gap in their relation wherein they never were able to make love to each other like before. But as the days started passing and Astha was given her punishment, finally things started falling back to place.
It was a Sunday and Arnav had to work at Office because he already had missed much. But he wanted to give a new start to his relationship with Khushi and had planned a surprise for her. He had texted her to come to a Hotel where there was a Client party arranged and he wanted her to accompany him. She was happy about it and especially seeing the Red Saree that he sent her for this special occassion. She wore it and left for the Hotel in the evening. WHen the car was parked and she got down she didnt find any such signs of a party here but her Arnav will never give her a wrong address. She came inside and at the Lobby found Aman standing and waiting for her.
Aman asked her to follow him and he took her straight to the 10th floor. She was little unsure what was happening but she believed Aman and her husband for sure. He gave her the keys of a Presedential Suite and asked her to get inside without questioning and she will find all her answers there. She agreed and Aman left back down. She entered the room and it was quite dark, but only illuminated by some small bulbs glowing on the floor directing her to the path inside. She walked on the direction they showed and found it was leading her straight to the bed. The moment she reached the bed, she found a pair of arms wrapping her waist from behind and her husband whispering in her ears
Arnav: How's my surprise?
She gasped when she felt him caressing her soft milky belly . He made her turn to him and then kissed her forehead.
Arnav: Aaj Nani mujhse kuch keh rahi thi. Woh chahti hai ki hum dono unhe ek aisi khush khabar de jisse sunte hi woh puri tarah se theek ho jaaye. (Today Nani was telling me something. She wants us to give her a good news which will wipe off her all health issues)
Khushi blushed hard because he didnt had to tell her what this meant.
Arnav: So? Its high time we start working on that wish . Hai naa?
Khushi was very shy. She tried to move away but in minutes her husband just picked her in his arms and carried her all the way to the bed which was waiting since long for them to start this act. Her saree was discarded followed by his clothes too and that was just the start. Forgetting that a world other than them two even exist, they devoured each other like never before, where he unleashed her desires today and realised his wife can be naughty too .It was all his teachings that had taught her how to fulfil his desires too. He collapsed on her filling her completely and kissed her forehead.
Arnav: I love You Khushi. I love you more everytime I remember how much efforts I put in to get you in my life.
Khushi: We are destined couple Arnav. No one could seperate us ever. We were apart and it was only fate which got us together. The past has been erased now completely. What remains for future is our Promising love . Thats it.
Arnav in agreement hugged her , cuddling his wife to his body and drifted to sleep. Their life was back on the right track and this time forever.
