Character sketch

Nirmala Bharadwaj

Head of the family. Popularly known as Mataji. Her decision is the final decision, no one can change it. She rules the family. All have a fear of her except her 2^nd grandson Siddhant who she loves the most.

Surendra Bharadwaj

Siddhant's Uncle. Mataji's younger son. He is an industrialist. Love all the children very much.

Karuna Bharadwaj

Surendra's wife. She loves Siddhant more than her own son. She is little upset always for her husband not giving her time.

Prem Bharadwaj

Siddhant's elder brother. He is married having a girl child. He is a businessman and loves his wife and family very much. Being busy, he takes out time any how to spend with his family which he accepts as a duty.

Simar Bharadwaj

Prem's wife. She is the dearest of Siddhant. She too loves him as her son cum brother. She is a perfect DIL as well as wife. She never regrets anything. She has a sister who she love same as Siddhant.

Sankalp Bharadwaj

Siddhant's younger brother. Married to industrialist Sonia Oberoi. He is too a business man and respects all elders. Feels himself lucky get Sonia as wife.

Sonia Oberoi Bharadwaj

She is the youngest DIL of the Bharadwaj's. She is very rich but doesn't show a little attitude. She too gets less time from her husband but ignores as she understands how complicated business is.

Siddhant Bharadwaj

He is the dearest of all. His parents died when he was very little. Perhaps it's the reason why he gets more love than anyone else from his family. He hates his uncle Surendra Bharadwaj from the deep of his heart but in the same hand he loves his aunt a lot. Then too Simar is the only one after Prem who he can believe to share his secretes. Believes in love but refuse to accept it.

Roli Dwivedi

She is a sweet bubbly girl. She is the younger sister of Simar. Loves her more than her life. Darling of all. Simar is her role model, she always wants to become just like her and get a life partner just like her jiji Prem. She can anything for her Didi and family. She also wants her in laws to be like the Bharadwaj's. She loves but refuse to marry.

Part 1

The entire bharadwaj house is getting decorated. All servants are running here and there. A boy comes.

Boy: work fast. Or mataji is gonna kill you.

Ramu: sankalp baba, don't scare them... u all take your time.

Boy laughs.

Bhola: don't keep scaring all the time sankalp bhaiya!

Someone call. "Sankalp"...

He goes to his room.

Sankalp: yes Sonia..

Sonia: sankalp, tell me what will I wear in the party?

Sankalp: wear anything u like, u ll nt look bad.

Sonia: sankalp, its our 1^st marriage anniversary and u are joking?

Sankalp: ok baba, I m sorry, wear the new saree.. ok?

Sonia: better!

They smiles and he leaves. He was going and bumps to someone.

Lady: ouch!

Sankalp: oops! Bhabhi! Sorry...

Lady: sankalp... look front and walk!

Sankalp: I do, but you always distract me...

Lady: what??? Have some shame! I am your elder SIL...

Salkalp: looking you I lose all my shame!

Lady: u r growing naughty day by day... u r now married... at least now change!

Sankalp: u destroyed me!

Lady: what? Wait. I will tell ur brother everything.

Sankalp: bhabhi bhabhi... sorry. But, don't tell bhaiya anything, or he will kill me!

She laughs. Someone calls "Simar"

Sankalp: see!

She slaps him softly and leaves smiling. Simar enters her room.

Simar: yes Prem ji!

Prem: simar, have you seen my file?

Sim: which file?

Prem: my yellow file. I m not getting it.

Sim: let me see.

She starts searching here and there. Prem stands crossing his arms and looks at her lovingly. She looks at him.

Simar: what are you staring at? Help me!

Prem: oh yaa!

A small girl comes with a yellow file.

Girl: papa! Is this yours?

They see.

Prem: oh ya!

Simar: Anjali! Where did u find it?

Anjali: in my room.

Prem: thnk u beta.!

She leaves. Prem looks at simar. she was staring at him.

Prem: what?

She raises her brows.

Prem: do u think I kept it there?

Simar: no! Not at all! In fact, I know you kept it there.

Prem: simar...

Simar: u like troubling me na?

Prem: n...o... actually, yes! U look beautiful while u are tensed.

Simar: why? I don't look beautiful other times?

Prem: I didn't mean that...!

Simar laughs followed by Prem.

Evening Party

All r blessing and wishing sankalp and Sonia. Mataji comes.

Mata ji: now we are waiting for our grandson, let him come and we will cut the cake.

Someone: I am here!

All looks.

Premar: "Siddhant!"

Mataji: siddhant!

He comes and takes everyone's blessing. Greets sankalp and Sonia.

Next day breakfast

Sankalp: god Siddhant Bhaiya, we miss u a lot!

Sid: I missed u too bro!

Sank: but I m angry wid u.

Sid:why for?

Sank: u studies were other last year na, then also u didn't attend my marriage!

Sid: sorry dude, u know na I was in extra course!

Sank: but...

Prem: sankalp, leave it na!

Sid: by the way prem, you don't trouble simar much na?? or I wil...

Prem: ah.. little little... !

Simar: don't ask Siddhant! U just eat.

Sid: are you nt going to feed me.

Simar: why not!

She feeds him.

Sankalp: bhabhi, not fair! U never fed me like this! I have only mamma!

Simar: mamma's son, take!

She feeds him too and all laughs.

Market

Sid was wandering in the market and felt something on his back. He turns and finds someone throwing stones on him. He looks here and there and finds another stone on him. He goes to the direction and finds a girl trying to break some pots with stones. Her tongue was little out of the mouth and one eye closed, aiming at the pot. She throws it.

Girl: damn! I again missed it.

Sid smiles and goes to her.

Sid: "Roli!"

She gets up and looks at him opening her mouth and widening her eyes.

Sid: close it or mosquito will go in.

She closes and looks down.

Sid: no one can say you are graduated in London!

She keeps quiet.

Sid: why are you so scared of me?

Roli: ah... you are senior...!

Sid: correction, I was! Now we are not at college. So we are friends right?

Roli: friends?? (Smiles) right!

Someone calls "Roli"...

Roli: coming! Ok siddhant ji, see you later. Bye!

She leaves.

Sid: mad girl! When will you understand Roli?? When? That, what I feel for you, how I think for you, why I care for you... my studies were over, but still I stayed in London for 1 more year, do u know why? For you... to see you, to listen you, to love you... always! I love you Roli..., I love you na yaar!!!

Roli's home

Roli enters and finds Panditji sitting.

Roli: what's happening maa?

Ma: roli, panditji is looking your kundli.

Sid: I will not marry.

Mata ji: as u said, we completed sankalp's marriage before you, now it's your turn. It's my last decision.

Sid: I will not marry, neither today, nor tomorrow. And it's my last decision.
