For this update as my earlier chapter was on current phase and then I noticed that, my consecutives would be on flash back which would not be cool for sure. I do not want us to accompany Nikhat in mental asylum for sure in the end.🤣

chapter 1
"qubool hai" 5 years old zoya whispered happily. Imitating mariam khala as bride
"qubool hai"10 years old asad whispered smiling at zoya imitating akram khalu as groom.
7 years old Ayaan hugged haider and imitated what maulvi sahab in mariam khala nikah was doing.
And humaira happily clapped as audience.
Asad separated from the group taking zoya with him.
"abu ne jaise kaha waise humara bhi nikah ho gaya hai. Ab to tah umar meri partner banogi na?" he asked with a cute tone.
"haa ab main hamesha tumhare sath he rahungi asad." Zoya promised him.
Asad smiled that finally he won and now zoya would never leave his side again in game.
"zoya , asad , humaira.." called up gaffur and Rashid.
All children ran towards them. Rashid picked up ayaan and gaffur took humaira in arms.
"abu, mariam khala ka nikah ho gaya? Ab khala chali jayengi?" ayaan asked with a smile and then frowned in the end
"haa ho gaya. Ab tumhari khala chali jayengi khalu ke sath." Rashid answered with a smile.
"abu nikah se log ek sath rehte hai humesha." Asked confused asad as the earlier explanation by gaffor to mariam was something like that.
"haan ek sath he rahenge tah umar." Gaffoor pated asad's back
"iska matlab hum bhi.." zoya quickly asked in a shock.
"happy nikah ms. Farooki" asad teased her.
Ayaan and haider let a small laugh hiding their mouth with hand before winking at her.
"Bye asad.." humaira said as gaffoor took humaira, haider and zoya with him to return to home.
"Bye bhabhijaan." Ayaan and haider said together and again burst out laughing. Zoya looked at both with a pout before turning back once more to walk. She dint even bother to glance at asad's direction even once where he virtually see off her through his eyes.
"beta kya khel rahe the ap sab." Gafoor and Rashid asked.
"nikah nikah.." humaira answered hardly audible to human ears.
"lets go boys" Rashid said with one open arms.
"yeah.." asad ran to him while ayaan shouted still in his arms.
"had fun..?"
"yes abu.."
"abu can I ask you something?" asad asked hesitated.
"of course boy ..you can ask me anything. Tell me what you want to know." Rashid said with a genuine smile.
"abu how to be good husband?" asad asked in a breathe thinking about their nikah one day.
Rashid stopped in his track and looked down at asad trying to think something to answer but than he thought to keep quite and let him ask his mom.
"I will buy you a book when you grow up..." He trailed off quickly.

Elegant, Classy, and Tasteful - those words aptly describe Khan's engagement ceremony for today. The adorable couples, Nikhat and Farhaan, are getting engaged at the Khan's mansion in a traditional Muslim wedding ceremony theme.
The main themes for ceremony are the gorgeous marigold decor! The mandap, decorated in hues of golds and reds, is accented by beautiful Kaliras. People adore the would-be bride's Sabyasachi lehenga and traditional and tasteful jewelry. With peacock embroidery and bright colors, it simply looks beautiful. The would-be groom's cream and maroon sherwani is super classy.
The whole Khan mansion is shimmering with guest smiles, laugh and blessings. People from every corner of the world were invited to give their blessing to the couples. Siddique family along with Khan family was on their heels to serve and comfort the guest and check on arrangements, and it was obvious participation from Gaffoor and family in ceremony because of their future duo relation, they would share with Khans. Rashid and gaffoor were college best friends and so were their wife and children and now very soon this bond would hold another deep relation, which will be tied with asad -zoya's wedding. Asad ayaan nikhat nazma and nuzhat were Rashid's pride, where zoya haider and humaira are apple of gaffur's eyes. Haider and gaffur were not actually father and son by blood but since haider's father died, gaffur had been the only father figure haider had ever been up to. It is a biggest day in Nikhat's life, and everyone is so happy for Nikhat and Farhaan! Evening has just started and so nazma - the little princess in villa is has been send upstairs in bridal room to get nikhat down in living area.

Nazma could hear faint music from the hall while walking upstairs she too looked ethereal in the sharara she worn.
"...qayamat se bhi rishta jodle" As she reached the door, she heard a chirpy voice from the other end and then a huge round of applause and complements surrounded the room and echoed in the corridor. Oh how she can miss her voice? Nazma thought with a smile.
"kise qayamat se rishta jodna hai ...mujhe bhi batao please!" nazma demanded piping her head inside the room.
"Nazma!" zoya looked at her with her million-dollar dimple and signaled her to come in.
"zoya ..bolona kya arz hua abhi yaha?" she insisted softly looking at zoya in a crowd curiously.
"Fir kabhi.-"zoya trailed off looking at the audience. "akashwani ek baar hoti hai , baar baar nai" zoya said winking with amusement coloring her tone.
"I guess," nazma sighed with mock-drama, "but you got to tell me later!"
nikhat and other ladies in the room laughed at threaten while resuming back to preparation. Nazma walked towards nikhat and adjusted on her knees besides nikhat near her feet.
"Now that you're getting married, things aren't going to change between us, right? We'll still be best friends?" nazma asked softly.
"The very best of friends," nikhat replied, reaching across with her other hand, pinching the peak of Nazma's chin affectionately, "and by the way, I'm just going to get engaged today; marriage is still so far."
"Not true, it's at next week" zoya argued making both grumble.
"Okay fine, I get it Miss Know-it-all." Nazma chided making nikhat and zoya giggle.
Zoya raised an imaginary collar and bowed down for a thank you, everyone burst out laughing.
The door knocked and dilshad entered quite angry. "nazma maine tumhe nikhat ko neeche lane ke liye kaha than na." dilshad walked in and asked all ladies to come down for the ceremony. Everyone walked quietly down leaving zoya , nazma and nikhat alone in room.
"tum dono do minute baad neeche ana, or tum nazma mere sath chalo warna fir gappe marte der karogi sabko" dilshad pointed towards zoya and nikhat and then sighed nazma to follow her. Nazma looked at zoya and nikhat with pouting lips while zoya teased her showing her tongue making nikhat giggle at both. The click of door ensured that everyone had gone and now they were alone. Zoya stepped forward and sat right in front of nikhat on knees supporting her by chair.
"so.."zoya looked at nikhat in her eyes to which nikhat smiled with a blush on cheeks.
"You are looking gorgeous nikki. Scare. Nervous, Dil me kuch kuch ho raha hai?" zoya asked with playfully kludging her forearm on her lap.
"Hmm!" nikhat hummed, acknowledging she was still listening to zoya despite of her mind wandering around her scar on wrist. Zoya looked at nikhat who's looked a bit lost and then her eyes darted on the fingers that were playing with the old scar.
"Past is past nikhat..." zoya said in remorseful tone thinking about all those suicidal attempt nikhat made due to the dissolving of last relations. Nikhat always has been a girl with a golden heart and dark beauty. Unfortunately she faced a number of rejections from boy's family and if anyhow the relationship gets fixed it would get dissolved very soon. She had started to take herself as jinx Which changed after farhaan's proposal .she really thought that this time allah showed some mercy to her family and finally she was lessening the burden but the reality was too rough and what she thought was only her delusion. This marriage was not as a bound based on love but on settlements money and compromises from both the end. Haseena bi mother of Farhaan and nikhat's would be mother -in-law was a very greedy person. She demanded huge money as dowry and with this settlement of transaction i.e. is buying and taking between both families, the sad part people thought it was a marriage happening there.
"sab theek hoga na.." nikhat asked in hurtful voice. Zoya looked at nikhat and could notice the thin layer of tears appearing in her eyes. Zoya looked a bit taken back but she recovered in a second and with a smile she hugged nikhat warmly. "sab theek hoga. Ab sirf khushiya hongi..yakeen rakho hum per"
Zoya pulled from hug and walked at the messy couch she tips and turned few boxes and smiled on finding what was she looking for. She went back to nikhat and again sat beside her on knees. She took the little box she was holding and gave it to nikhat.
"Ye tumhare liye mere or asad ke taraf se." she said happily.
Nikhat stared at the box tilting up and down quizzically. "Kya hai isme?"
"khud he dekhlo.." zoya simple stated with a smile.
Nikhat opened the box and found a beautiful pendant of diamond it was oval in shape with a minor design and carving with gold.
"Wow zoya ...it's beautiful." She said enlighten
"Yes it is .akhir choice kiski hai?" Zoya said with proud pinching an imaginary collar again.
"apki?" nikhat said more like asking.
Zoya gave a death glare to nikhat to which she scoffed looking away on floor.
"tumhare bhaijaan ki choice ...Allah! Itni kharab hai. Mr Vampire Ahmed khan ko black ke age kuch dikhta he nai...shirt black ,coat black yaha tak ki dulhan ka joda bhi black le lete agar inpe chorda jaye to." zoya said with dramatic gesture. "...Or unki emotionally challenged ada ka to koi jawab he nai! Wo to acha hai ke main ye tohfa le aai warna..." she trailed off looking at nikhat and then at the door where fuming dilshad was standing.
Zoya smile funny and literally drag nikhat out of door. "kitna waqt lagati ho nikki to get ready. Khamakha phupi ko gussa dila diya..." zoya kept ranting with a mock anger till she passed dilshad who was at door. Dilshad nodded her head with amusement. "pagal larki"

They heard women voice from the corridor with tabla and thap music in air. Zoya delicately supported nikhat and helped her to walk down stairs. Every eyes in the room were on zoya and nikhat specially nikhat coz of the radiance she have worn on her face today. Zoya roamed her eyes on every corner of the room and rested when met a two intense orbs who had his back first to them but as he saw the man he is talking to is eyeing on stairs he turned around just to see his sister who looked so beautiful today and zoya whose one glance make his heart to do hundred of summer saults. Asad looked up to them and walked near the stairs followed by ayaan and haider who were standing close but were busy with arrangements.
As the ladies reached the last step asad and ayaan offered their hand to nikhat which she readily holds it smiling. "You are looking beautiful." Whispered ayaan soflty "bechare farhaan bhaijaan..." he added with a grin as he eyed on farhaan who was standing with open mouth. "makhi ghus jayegi ." commented haider making all the people near niks giggle and laugh.
Soon the ceremony started and fruits gifts were exchanged between khans and farhaan's family. People claped and cheered when nikhat sliped a ring on farhaans finger and farhaan took her hand to place the diamond on her ring finger.
"tyar rahiye..inke bad ap dono ki he bari hai.."nazma teased asad and zoya from behind. Asad quickly left zoya's hand which he was holding it from the time she walked down and gave a serious glare to nazma. Nazma whispered a sorry and quickly got disappeared in thin air. Asad turned to see zoya smirking, he raised an eyebrow at her.
"What?" he asked
"What what?" zoya said rolling her eye.
"You love me?" zoya asked suddenly out of nowhere.
Asad looked at her in disbelief for a second than nodded his head in no and half smiled.
"Answer me?" she demanded with a rage.
"I think you already know the answer" he said intensely looking at her face than her eyes.
"I want to hear from you but." Zoya demanded with pout.
"What you want to hear?" asad played dumb while smirking. He adjusted her left hand in his so that now he held her other hand too, their palms together. Leaning little against her head, he smiled when she snuggled up against his side.Before any pre warning asad moved back before pecking up on her cheeks. she was caught off guard by him. Asad used his one hand to tap her chin to make her jaw meet.Zoya playfully hit his arm as her face heated up immediately, "stop it." She whispered on seeing asad leaning again on her.
Asad sighed heavily, "I suppose it's time we start to next level." He eyed her cockily. "Almost time for us to plan our honeymoon..." he said circling his one hand around her petite waist.
"I am not going anywhere till you say u love me." Zoya insisted with mask sadness
Asad, as if reading her mind leaned his head against hers, gripping her hand just a fraction tighter. Indeed they spent more time apart than together from last few months and even though they were getting married in less than a month, he knew he would feel her absence immediately, keenly. Although they both had time for the social ceremony but they had never forgot what they shared in long run. Their first childhood marriage, mariam khala nikah and the promise they made to always live securely each other sides, they never had and never will forget their promises of forever.
