for suggesting it to me.
I am in awe of your indescribable power of setting a story: I don't know what to be looking forward to the most: the saffron flowers about to bloom, the chinar tree leaves during the autumn, Khushi trying to do all the things in her list and this way I get to lose myself more in the surrounding glorious landscape.
Oh and that lake, I guess a few walks might take place to look at its beauty fascinating Khushi further.
You have turned Shantivan into something that I want to explore further...
You make me want to go there tomorrow (since the fall has just started) and see everything for myself while reading the rest of your story.
Did I go shopping or Khushi? It's good to know someone is as bad as me...
Amidst this, the portrayal of people is as amazing as the places. I love how you describe the little things we notice in the beginning in a new person, how they irritate us and form a lasting impression.
I like the description of the controlled dating tradition, without any judgement you made me see the motives, reasons and ways that it can work. I am already feeling bad for Aman, a heartbreak that's waiting to happen in the future. I can only hope for the best with him, but the heart wants what it wants...
I like the twist with Khushi being diabetic. Oh, I predict I will see a lot of swoonworthy moments as our hero looks after her in her weak moments...😳
What is it with this hero though? Why even oblivion doesn't calm him? Has he gone through a heartbreak or just old unrequited love has left him brooding, fitful and sleepless?
Khushi's bua and Arnav's mom (I adore her description: short, plump, maybe still yearning for another child as she indulges Khushi) have been friends. Have Arnav and Khushi met when they were very young?
So the first 5 meetings (actually 4.5 as the first one was Khushi ogling him from her car 😊) have given us a handsome 31 year old restless doctor with the worst memory ever and a give as good as she gets diabetic 26 years old doctor who fancies him like crazy.
All three titles were taken from titles or lines of poetry. A fellow poetry lover's work promises to be as delicate and breathtaking as the poetry that inspires her...
I guess that this ff will see the upcoming love story as the most treasured and beautiful thing to happen despite the backdrop of darkness surrounding it...
Should I be worried?
