While reading it, I could see Kashmir...
And I can't believe you haven't visited Kashmir ever... I haven't either.. But always wanted to... And after reading this, my wish is intensified even more :)
Astha aunty is really sweet and she's making Khushi feel at home..
And now our Arnie is here too...
The way you described Khushi's shocked state was fun... :)
And I can imagine what Khushi felt...
Her ego is hurt big time... May be its a first for her... Felt really bad for her..
But now that they are gonna live under the same roof, things are gonna improve for sure. Arnie won't be able to ignore her even if he wants to ;)

I have never been to Kashmir. But have read a lot about the beautiful place. You have described very nicely. Astha seems like a nice lady. I like the way you brought Shantivan to Kashmir.

The update was as picturesque and beautiful as Kashmir.

I have never been to Kashmir, but it always had a special place in my heart. My knowledge about it is limited to what I read in books and what I saw in movies and documentaries. Keeping aside the political unrest that's going on there, Kashmir is synonym to everything natural, beautiful and serene.

Khushi is away from her family and the land she grew up in but she is really excited about this trip and wants to live and enjoy every moment of it and absorb as many beautiful visuals and images her mind and heart can store. But looks like destiny is has plans of a another story to be written in her heart.

Astha is such a warm and welcoming person. It's hard to tell that Astha and Khushi have just met, seems like they have known each other all their life. Setting aside their friendly natures, the fact that Khushi is away from her family and Astha is staying all by herself has helped them bond easily, I think.

Arnav and Khushi living in the same house!! Fate really is very focused on them and made sure they are together all the way from Ohio to Kashmir. I think Arnav didn't recognize Khushi because of her dress. Or does he have some short memory loss issues ;)? Or maybe he did recognize her and just acting? J

But that was a good comeback from, Khushi. Glad she played along... this girl has some spunk to her.

As soon as I read it I thought, wow is that Khushi, or is that Arnav, it could have been either.

Hi Jenny, totally amazing, as always. My mind drifted off to Kashmir, its on my bucket list of pkaces I want to go to, even though I hate the cold 😊],
As soon as I read Arnie was Asthas son a BIG grin appeared on my face. Ahh under the same roof, in shantivan, in kashmir how totally romantic. I reckon our 6 foot himalayan Arnie is going to melt soon 😉. I hope Arnie realises soon that their paths have crossed a few times already.😉
