Part 11
Khushi was sleeping when she heard footsteps.She slowly opened her eyes and noticed a blurry figure of a woman.She frowned.She blinked a couple times before she actually saw the woman.Khushi nearly screamed when the nurse tried to come close to check her pulse.
"Please ma'am cooperate with us"
Khushi didn't listen and continued crying and pleading the nurse to leave.The nurse looked around hoping to find some help but found none.She tried to calm Khushi down but she wouldn't listen.

Arnav had gone to grab a quick snack from the cafeteria of the hospital.He bought two chocolate chip cookies.One for himself and one for Khushi.
He returned to Khushi's room only to see Khushi going hysterical and pushing the nurse away.Arnav reached for Khushi in quick strides.Khushi,helplessly,held on to Arnav's arms.She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly "Please tell her to go away" Khushi pleaded,hiding her face against Arnav's neck.
"Hush sweetheart" Arnav cooed.He looked at the nurse "What happened?"
"I just came in to check her pulse but she woke up and saw me...and I guess you know the rest"
Arnav pulled Khushi slightly away from him.He raised her chin to make her look at him in the eyes "Khushi,she won't harm you.No one will,I promise you.She only needs to check your pulse,that's it and then she will leave"
"But...but-"
"Do you trust me Khushi?" Khushi nodded.The nurse came up to Khushi and took hold of her wrist,making her flinch.Arnav placed his hand on Khushi's cheek and made her look at him "Khushi" Arnav whispered.He leaned his forehead against hers,locking her eyes with his "Just look at me" he whispered "Your Arnav" Khushi stared into the molten brown orbs of his eyes.She couldn't even feel the nurse touching her.Khushi was simply lost.
The nurse had finished the check up long ago.She blushed seeing the eye lock between the two.It was obvious they loved each other very much.She decided to give them some alone time and left.
Arnav caressed Khushi's cheek and leaned more towards her if it was possible.He lowered his eyes to her lips.He tilted his head to do something he had always wanted to do.Arnav brushed his lips against hers,making her close her eyes and let out a sigh.Arnav placed his hand on her delicate neck.He traveled it up towards the band that held up her hair.He pulled it off and let his hand wander through her waist-length beautiful and soft hair.Arnav pressed his lips against Khushi's and pulled her against him.He moaned when her innocent tongue gently flickered against his.
Arnav gently pulled away from her.Khushi breathed heavily against his lips that were close to hers and yet not touching.Khushi looked up into Arnav's eyes.They were dark brown,full of desire.He simply hugged her tightly.After calming down and when Arnav was sure his eyes turned back to their normal color,he pulled back.He didn't want to scare Khushi in any way.
Arnav took out a cookie from his pocket "For you" he said with a smile.
Khushi smiled back "Thank you" she said.
She took the cookie from him and tried to open the wrapper but it wasn't cooperating with her.Khushi bit her lip in concentration,slightly wrestling with the wrapper.Arnav was watching her with slight amusement but when he saw her bit her already swollen lips,he was lost.Arnav gave a small smile.He leaned towards a surprised Khushi and completely caught her off guard by stealing a quick kiss from her.He smiled at her and took the cookie from her.Arnav swiftly ripped the wrapper off.He put it against her lips.Khushi raised her hand to take the cookie from him but he shook his head.Khushi opened her mouth slightly and bit into the cookie "It's delicious" she commented.
"Yes it is" Arnav mumbled.
Khushi frowned "But how do you know that? You didn't even eat yours"
Arnav stared at her and smiled "If you say it's delicious then I am quite sure it is" Khushi smiled.Arnav's phone began ringing.He took it out and looked at the caller id.It was his Di "I will be right back" he said.
"No.Don't leave me.What if someone comes?"
Arnav held Khushi's shoulders and gently lay her down on her bed "I want you to relax,okay? Go to sleep and know I'll be there if you need anything" he whispered gently.
Khushi closed her eyes and nodded.She fell asleep within seconds.Arnav went to the side and answered the call "CHOTTEY" Arnav groaned hearing his Di screech.He looked at Khushi and was glad she was still asleep.
"What is it Di?"
"Is this how you talk to your Di after weeks without even seeing or talking to her? Where have you been these weeks Chottey? We are so worried for you and you can't even make a single call"
Arnav bit his lip "Um Di-"
"Fine Chottey you win.I will promise to stop pestering you about marriage...for now but you have to marry one day and please come home.We all miss you an-"
"Di!" he said in his commanding voice.Anjali immediately quietened "Di I have something to tell you.Di I want to marry and I have found the perfect girl for me"
Arnav heard his sister gasp "You have! Oh thank heavens! What's the name of the girl who managed to steal the heart of my brother?"
Arnav smiled as he gazed at Khushi "Khushi.Her name is Khushi"
"What a beautiful name.Wait until I tell the whole family.When are we going to meet her?"
"Um...how about tomorrow"
"You are going to bring her tomorrow?"
"Yeah"
"Somebody's eager"
"Di! Not now or ever" he cut the call and smiled.He sighed and looked at Khushi's sleeping form "Yes Di I am eager.Eager to make her mine"
