Part 4

After having a short nap from the most hectic days in her life, she walked downstairs wearing a dark blue jeans and white top. She was looking beautiful with her hairs open and small curls made at the bottom of her dark brown hairs.

Khushi: "Hello.. Uncle.." She greeted the Ranawat's cum their family friends. They was seating in the living room having their own sweet time.

Rudra parents Madhu and Prakash Ranawat come forward and blessed Khushi. Madhu hugged her tight expressing her love for her. They knew Khushi since she was a baby. She was the only girl with whom their son is very closes with. They shared a beautiful bonding since they were kid and it continued till now.

Khushi: "Uncle where is Rudra..?" She scanned through her eyes to find him but he was no where here.

Prakash (Smiling): "He is with Karan discussing on something, will be here in a while.." They started to talk to each other cracking jokes and cherishing their old days. Khushi was seating in between Madhu and Prakash holding their hands. She already considers them as her own family. They love her equally as Rudra.

Garima: "The dinner is ready so let's have it together and Khushi go and call Karan and Rudra.." She didn't argue and started to walk towards the study room but in sudden her mobile rang. She was about to answer but the sudden hold on her hand jerk her entire body which led her mobile falls on the ground and there were only silence in the living room. Khushi turn and saw Rudra standing before her. Her pale face turns into excitements. She hugged Rudra with a smile on her lips. She totally forgot the condition of her mobile and the person, who rang her just now, was none other than her husband.

Rudra (Pulling back from the hug): "So how are you Rukmani..?"

Khushi: "Achi hu Major-sa and don't call me Rukmani.." She flared her nose showing her fake anger..

Rudra: "For the world you might be Khushi but for me you are only Rukmani.." He teased her with the name even after knowing she dislikes it.

Khushi: "Rudra stop it.. You know I don't like it then why are you doing it again..?? If you call me again with that weird name then I'm not going to talk with you.. Samjeh..??"

Rudra: "Okey.. Okey.. I won't.. I will call you Khushi but only if I remember.." She punched on his chest which made him caught her wrist and stopped her. The entire family was witnessing this little fun argument from far. They was happy yet relief seeing the relationship of Rudra and Khushi.

The dinner was finally done and they were sitting at the living room enjoying some snacks made by Garima. Karan gesture his father to start as this is the only opportunity they have, they didn't want to miss it.

Shashi: "Errmm.. Khushi we have decided something for you since long and seem today is the right day so we taking a best step of your life being your parents. You know right how much we loves you and care for you.."

Khushi: "Papa.. Why are you hesitating..? I know you will think the best for me and I'm ready for everything which you planned for me.." She agreed without knowing the exact facts..

Shashi: "Madhu and Prakash is here today for the proposal and we have agreed to make you marry to Rudra.." Her eyes widen as she wasn't able to digest. The moment the MARRY word hit her brain she hurriedly brushed her hand on her neck, to get feel of her mangalsutra which was there few days back. She removed it while returning back to pretend like nothing happen but here the situation was getting worst then before. How can she marry someone else when she already married to a stranger?

Madhu: "Khushi we know you need time. So don't pressure up yourself.. Just think relevantly, we will wait for the answer.." The entire family was looking at Khushi so does Rudra. He was expecting an yes from her and really want her beside him forever even its not that possible as he been thinking about.

Khushi was under dilemma. She don't know what she should answer..? If she said YES then what about Arnav..? If she said NO, Then what about her parents and their relation they shared since year with Ranawat families..? Everything will be messed up. Even they wasn't pressuring her but they surely have an motif to discuss all this before everyone instead of talking with her privately.. Khushi looked at her mother than father whose eyes were demanding an YES from her end. She closed her eyes and open at the next instead. The next word which came out from her mouth was suppose to be a denial but after seeing the hoping face of her parents she replied a YES and agreed for this marriage..

Shashi was more than happy with the accepted of Khushi. He firstly, went to hug Prakash and then Khushi who was still blurred. Garima, Karan and others too hugged her and blessed her for a happy marries life with Rudra. The sweets started to exchange hands and they feed each other showing their happiness.

Khushi was still standing like a statue. The only name and thought was hunting her mind was ARNAV...? How would she explain everything to him..? Will he understand her weakness that she did this only because of her parents and mostly her mother? Even she has the full authority to deny it but she can't do it on the person's face. The hoping face of her parents and the little happiness after her YES was filling the entire mansion.

Shashi: "This marriage will take place in next 2 months before Rudra leave for his another mission to Karachi. So next week will be the roka (Engagement) and the follow by the other rituals and preparation for the wedding.." Khushi was again taken back by another command of her father. Roka and that too next week..? She was cursing herself for even geting trapped in the emotional faces of her family.

Prakash: "That will be fine.. The roka should happen grandly.. We should invite everyone and not to forget Yash Pratap Singh Raizada too.. His news is on headline these days, Do you heard his son marriage was called off due to some internal problem. Until now media and others are looking for the reason and none of them are aware. But it looked like Arnav Singh Raizada was having affairs with many girls and that's the reason the marriage didn't take place.." Khushi looked at Prakash.. They knew him..? The name of Arnav was enough to send Goosebumps in her. If they came to know she was the reason and she is married to the same Arnav Singh Raizada then what would be their reaction..? Will they accept it..? Upon that they are inviting her husband to attend his wife engagement..? Then what will happen if he really came..? But according to the Indian law and tradition this marriage with Rudra is illegal and won't be accepted as she already married to someone else. And that someone else is still her Legal wed-husband. She wonder and still putting hope..

All the while, Rudra was noticing Khushi's expression. She was looking little disturb as some thought was haunting her somewhere. He holds her hand and took her away from the crowded.

Rudra: "Khushi you okey..?"

Khushi: "Yeah.. I'm fine.. Can't you see I'm smiling..?" She was pretending to be happy even she wasn't. She thought of making everything alright later not now. She will try to talk with Arnav if the situation demands it. She really needs someone to be her pillar.

Rudra: "We are getting married then..?" He again hold her hand trying to caress them and was about to peak them but she pulled hurriedly..

Khushi: "Eee.. I'm tired and need rest.. We will talk later through mobile.. Excuse me.." He gives her the space without making fussed on the situation.

After 2 days..

Today will be the first day of her joining Gupta empire as a Manager Director. She will be helping her brother henceforth as their father was getting little old and he can't take all the work pressure on his shoulder alone. She even took the permission from her parents to stay at her apartment instead with them. At first they denied, but she was being stubborn and finally she made them understand and they AGREED. She was feeling suffocated in this huge mansion of Gupta. Day and night they were only discussing about her marriage. She tried to talk to her mother but it went in vain as she was too busy in the Roka preparation. She need this space for herself and that space she can only find in her apartment away from her parents and this wedding planning, so from there she could start thinking on how to back off from this marriage. But these two days she never wasted just like that, she starts searching more information about her Current husband. His background, his business and his personal life too.. Though she wasn't interested but situation was demanding all this. At least she would be ready mentally to defend herself if anything happens in future and how long she would keep declaring him as a stranger?

An important tender going to be discussed and the result of it was coming in just 20 minutes. Karan, Khushi and Shashi was seating in a conference room at Dixit Empire, whose this tender belongs too. The next moment, the conference room door opened by the secretary of Mr.Dixit and two important man walked in carrying their pride and proud. While, the another young man was looking dashing in his three piece suit with a grey scarf on his neck white shirt and black suit fitting his muscular body. The man was none other than Arnav Singh Raizada and his father Yash Pratap Singh Raizada another competitor for the tender.

Khushi gulped down her nervousness seeing her husband after 2 days. She neglected his calls at first as it wasn't her intention but later the situation was out of her control which made her to ignore him for some time. She was looking at him through the corner of her eyes but yet couldn't meet his eyes as he was wearing glasses and hiding his eyes from her.

The Gupta and Raizada were looking at each other trying to act normal yet it wasn't easy. They was always known as enemy and never care to bother each other when its related to business. Their only target was MONEY nothing else. Both wanted to show their own talent by banging all the superior contracts and today not less too.

Yash(Clearing his throat before continuing): "I received the Engagement Invitation Card of your daughter yesterday.." Khushi's heart seems stuck over there..? So it means he know..? He knows she is getting married to someone else..? She intentionally looked at him but yet again failed to identify what is hidden behind the glasses. She could feel his eyes were on her but she couldn't read his expression.

Shashi: "It will be our honour to see you attending the ceremony. Well, I feel sorry for what just happen on your son wedding.. It was truly a big lost and a big mark on your dignity.." Yash was about to pounce back but the sudden hold of his son on his hand stopped him.

Arnav: "It's our lost so it shouldn't matter but after seeing your daughters face seems she is not happy with his marriage. Didn't you asked her did she have someone else in her life or else it will be very difficult day on the wedding and of course Gupta's dignity are concern too if the same incidents of mine happen in her marriage.." The words were like a Gold weapon but yet it fill with thorns. He was hinting on his and Khushi's marriage which still wasn't aware by anyone.

Khushi hurriedly excused herself and rushed towards the washroom. The Gupta's surely didn't like the way Arnav spoke to them. They have fully faith in Khushi though that she won't mark their name but there is a wide smirked on ASR's face after shutting his hidden in laws mouth. After sometime, Arnav receive a business call and he too went out from the conference room to attend the call.
