San-Dhir one-shot ( V Sadda Haq )

SAN-DHIR ONE-SHOT

Authour's note: Hello everyone, this is Anuradha. I am new to this forum. something about "Sadda Haq" has caught my attention and left me crazed about its lead characters Randhir and Sanyukta. Somehow their relation seems unique and much different to the normal 'boy-girl' crap that we generally view in Indian tele soaps!

Well whatever be the reason, this serial has motivated me enough to pen down a one-shot on it! This will be strictly my take on the 'San-Dhir' relationship...

I seriously shall try to keep them as much close to their canon characters as possible. Oh and it is based on the last week's episodes where Sanyukta goes in search of Randhir and events that ensued. Hope you guys enjoy it :)

TOGETHER

Sanyukta's pov:

He hated her. She hated him. They both hated each other and they knew it very well. Right from the moment Sanyukta Agarwal set her eyes on the 'handsome hunk' and 'college - dude' Randhir Singh Shekhawat, war had been declared between them. The reason? Well, Randhir 'hated' girls, like seriously hated them. And Sanyukta happened to be one such undesirable species who was determined to always be in his way!

But they why did today feel so different? He had beaten all the goons to pulp only to save her. She was overwhelmed. But isn't that exactly what she wanted? She had tricked him into believing that she needed saving so that he would be forced to drop her back to college. But now that he had actually saved her, why was she feeling so...numb? Why wasn't she thinking straight? Was she deluded? No. Hell no. She knew he didn't chase away those goons because he cared. He did it to prove his strenght, to prove that men are superior. But a small voice inside her heart told her otherwise. Maybe he did care, may be amongst all the arguments and bickering, he had somewhere actually began to develop a soft corner for her.

Shit!!! Did she just think that? No way, he was Randhir Singh Shekhawat, a male chauvinist pig! No way she could ever trust him.

The battle inside her raged. It was a brawl between the head and the heart. Head told her to stay away, heart spoke otherwise. And Sanyukta Agarwal was at a loss.

The bus which was carrying them back to college was almost full except for a few empty seats here and there. Randhir and Sanyukta were seated together. Tired from all the fight, Randhir had dozed off the minute the bus had started moving. Sanyukta, on the oether hand, was wide awake. she chanced a glance at the boy sitting beside her. He looked so peaceful when he was asleep, like a little child unware to the world! She liked him better this way, no snide remaks, no sarcasm and no swears. She continued to watch him like he was some marvelous potrait left to be admired. She wondered why he hated her so much and yet when need arose, he was always there for her. He would never admit and neither would she, but he was really her guardian angel in college. And yet, they rarely saw eye-to-eye on anything and bickered like mortal enemies.

Sleep was overpowering her senses. And soon her eyes were shut, her mouth slightly open and she was in a state of dreamless sleep. The bus jerked and Sanyukta's head landed on Randhir's shoulder. He shifted ever so slightly in his sleep to move himself to a more comfortable position. And his head tilted till it lay over Sanyukta's. And they were oblivious to the world around them, heads joined, eyes shut tight and arms touching each other. At that monemt it didn't matter whether they were friends or enemies, lovers or haters...what mattered is they were together and they were there for each other!

Authour's note: So there. All done. This was my first attempt at a fanfiction based on any Indian tele-show, so please go easy on me :)
