"No sir... i am still on it... hopefully is baar mai aur tech experts is code ko crack kar hi lenge...bahut ajib sa gai sir... we are still trying...",Aisha pressed the Enter button as she spoke to the higher officials on the phone...genuinely hoping that this time the code runs...but instantly she slapped her head irritatedly...
"Aisha.. ye code tumhe kyu dia gaya hai janti ho na?? tum best me best ho...dont let us down... and.. all d best ...keep trying...mai bad me phone karta hu!",the man on the other side disconnected the phone and Aisha made a grumpy face...nearly ready to throw her laptop...because it had been a month that she and her experts were working on some security codes... and still they didn't manage to crack it...
But one cute "diiidddiii..." from a sweet 7 year old girl... and her gussa was chhoomantar!!
"Avni...aram se...",she said but it wa too late as the girl nearly jumped on her showing her the trophies and medals.."Mai maths olympiad me 1st aur science olympiad me 2nd ayi ...pure state me..aur All India Rank me mai top 100 me bhi select ho gayi...",she jumped on her lap in excitement...
"haaww ... sachi?? congrats genius!!! chal... tumhe aj mai pizza hut le jaungi... aur as a gift.. tum aj jo mangogi... wo milega!!",she pulled her cheek..
"par gift to apko milna chaiye na... apne hi to padhaya tha..",she said innocently..
"To kya? padhai to tumne ki thi.."
"Avniii... phir didi ko tang kar rahi ho..unhe kaam hai na ... ap fresh ho lo...phir khelna ok?",Avni's mom came running..
"Dekha didi... itni trophies mili...phir bhi mumma daant ti hai...katti!!",she pouted and hugged her dear didi..
"Haaww... aunty..kyu daant rahi ho meri baby ko??..see..kitni intelligent hai...",she winked and assured her that she will help Avni freshen up...

Aisha had been staying at Avni's place since she had come to Mumbai for the 1st time...Avni's parents..i.e. The Singhs had been searching for a paying guest then.. And they had accidentaly met Aisha..Later she became a part of their family...As little Avni grew up she started playing with her Aisha didi...but then all off a sudden Avni's life became void..as Aisha left Mumbai and settled in Delhi...reason..none knew...perhaps... some knew...
After 2 years luck had again brought her back to Mumbai..and well... Avni was the happiest person on earth on the day Aisha came to their place...
By profession..Aisha was in the polcie department... earlier she was in the field work with ETF...but now..she had quit ETF...and helped police dept in cracking codes and stuff...that too from her own home...online...
"Sir.. almost done... ji sir..mai apko mail kar dungi...",she disconnected and mailed the code as it had been cracked...Finally!!

"Chalo bachchon... see mai cake laya hu...Avni..cake kaat lo..!",Mr Singh put the cake on the table..Avni was too excited to celebrate her success.. She cut the cake and fed everyone...and later she cuddled up with Aisha inside the blanket for an afternoon nap..that too after listening a fairytale from her...Finally the chhota packet was sleeping.."peace for 2 hours",Mr Singh thought and smiled on seeing Avni sleeping with Aisha and Aisha patting her head!!

"Aunty ap rehne do.. chai banana ata hai mujhe...bana lungi...",aisha said taking the utensil from her hand..
"Par..mai bana lungi.. tum baith jao!!"
"Ha to mai bhi bana lungi... ap baith jao!",she fought back..
"Arey ladies...Ap dono ka aise chalta raha to mai khud apne liye chai bana lunga!",Mr Singh said grinning..
"ok... sath me bana lete hai .."
"Aisha..kuch puchu tumse?!'
"ha..boliye na.."
"Tum..mujhe... apni maa jaisa manti ho na...(aisha gives a confused look.. and nods)..to mujhe sach sach ek bat bataogi?(nods again)..tum yaha 6 mahine se ho... ek bar bhi apne purane doston se contact nahi kia tumne...kyu?"
"Aunty... mai bas purane zakhm kuredna nahi chahti...aplogon se kabhi kuch nahi chhupa hai.. to ap samajh hi rahi hongi...mai bas... khair.. chodiye ye sab... chai ban gayi... de ati hu uncle ko!",she took the cup and turned...
"Tum ab bhi usse pyar karti ho na?"
That question stopped her...She looked back... and went away to give the tea...without any answer..
"Ye ladki mere samajh ke bahar hai!",she sighed.."bhagwan...ab ye bachchi ye sab deserve nahi karti...kyu kar rahe ho iske sath ye sab!",Mrs Singh sent up a silent prayer to God and genuinely praying for Aisha's happiness..
