Sucking on the tip of her pen...writing then thinking and then reading...

Many books were around and the whole space around her was messy...

But she's absorbed by her studies and her cheeks are pinky after so much concentration

He was there staring at her, forgetting about the files before him

Seeing her expression changes at every task she's doing

He's amused, he's ready to see the whole day and night

The way she's tying her dupatta on the side and her hair...her long hair was naturally falling on her shoulders

And then like by magic, she looked up

He was staring at her , so their eyes meet

And his expression changed to a more firm and serious one

He looked away instantly, and then starts typing on his laptop

Khushi smiled instantly too and back to her studies

They hear a knock on the door and both looked at each other, before khushi jumped out of the bed and runs to open

It was Anjeli, coming with chai for both of them

-tea for my angels!

-Anjeliji...please come in!

Khushi takes the plate from her and invited her in

-oh but I won't disturb, I just come with tea for you, I know you're both busy!

-di! Come in!

Arnav insisted

Anjeli went to him , she looked around the room

-oh...you really working here, I can see!...I should go too...I'm goanna take the tea with Nani

-really?! Anjeliji can I join you too?...I finished studying

Khushi smiled taking only her mug of tea, Anjeli held her and both went out of the room, leaving Arnav behind

When she comes after not even half an hour, he was surprised

She opened the door softly and looked at him

-I...I'm sleepy...so, I come!

She said avoiding his eyes and then, she arranged her books and stuffs and prepared the bed

She lied there

-good night

She said closing her eyes, breathing heavily

Now, since their marriage, this is her favorite time...

When finally, they come closer in the bed...he would lie next to her, she would feel safe when he's there around...

Nothing bad would come to her and he's...he's so powerful...his regular breath, he's smelling so good

And just by feeling that he's here, next to her...it made her happy and her heart is feeling a warmness she never felt before

She's waiting for him...

She wouldn't sleep if he's not there next to her

It's becoming familiar, after just two weeks of their marriage

He's coming, she could feel it, hearing that he's out of bathroom, she knows he will come straight his side of the bed but no...

He comes her side...

She kept her eyes closed when he sits so closer and she felt the tip of his finger, pushing a lock of her hair away of her face

And then he walked back...to his side of bed

He lied down next to her like always

And she takes a deep breath

And then, suddenly, she turned and hugged him

-yes...

He thought she was sleeping

He wanted to scold her but he's feeling her in between his arms and this...

This is heaven on earth

-what are you doing?...are you scared again?

He said looking at her holding him tight

Her way to hug him...it felt right...and she fits him perfectly...it's like it's been always like that and she belongs here...to in between his arms

-yes...yes... I'm scared!

It's her second lie for today...

First, she lied at them all that she's sleepy to come back to him fast and now, this!

-it's ok...you sleep

He said to assure her

Then she tightened the hug and closed her eyes

He wasn't able to breathe...he forgets how

She's there, so close...sleeping in between his arms...he looks down at her

Baby face...so beautiful...as a doll, an angel...

She slept like that peacefully till morning...

each morning, Arnav dropped khushi to her high school and he comes back when she finish to take her home

this evening also, he waits for her, in his car...

he was wearing his three pieces suit, a grey tie and his sunglasses and looked at her as she looked the car side, gestured bye to her classmates and walked to him with a weak shy smile

she gets in the car and greets him

whenever she looked at him, she feels that her heart is ready to jump out of her chest, so she hugs her books tightly

he's silent and never look her side

he just reminds her to put the sit belt

She hesitate everyday to tell him

-how is your day in office?

"good" Is always his answer but today, he looked her side for a little bit and comes back to concentrate on his driving

-really?...how?...I mean why? Something happened? Is everything ok? I mean...you ok?

She tensed, asking him non stop

He looked at her with a mysterious smirk and then comes back to look to the road before him

-are you telling this just to make me calm?

She said looking with her innocent questioning eyes

-the only fact is that I wasn't able to work today!

He answered honestly

She instantly puts her hand on his forehead to check if he has fever

She retired her hand so fast, biting her lower lip

It has a reason...it maybe her...so soft and so innocent, sleeping on his arms, so closer that he could feel her everywhere against his body...
