Part 13

Morning

Khushi had to plead Arnav to leave her so that she can come down and start her first day as a true Bahu of this house. Some quick kisses made

her work easier and Arnav left her on the promise that she will come back in the room soon on the excuse of helping him finding his clothes for

work. She was really enjoying her little life where she thought she achieved everything she ever dreamed of. A good family, a loving husband,

what more than that she needed?

She was welcomed by Anjali in the Kitchen for making some sweetdish for the family. Thats when Astha came inside and saw her busy.

Anjali: See Maa. Khushi BHabhi is making Kheer for all of us.

Astha: Hmm. Where is Chotte?

Anjali: He is sleeping upstairs. Hai Naa Khushi Bhabhi?

The name of her husband itself was enough for Khushi to blush hard remembering their past night. Astha had no doubts in what they must have

done on their Suhaagraat. It was so obvious that her Son was very much blown by this girl's beauty and charm.

Astha: It had to be Bahu's Pag Phera today. But for that she will have to go to Jail.

She sarcastically said that and Khushi's expressions changed.

Anjali: Jail? Maa what are you saying?

Astha: You dont know anything Anjali and its good.

Astha : However you try , she cannot complete all the rituals Anjali. Somethings will be remained undone. But I dont have much hopes either.

She left and Anjali could see tears in Khushi's eyes.

Anjali: Bhabhi. Please dont cry for what Maa said. SHe is very straight forward when she talks. Sometimes she hurts people around her but her

intentions may not be the same.

Khushi: I know.

She continued doing her work thinking how true her mother in law words were.

Anjali: Okay lets do one thing. I will take you out in the Mandir today. In that way, your mood also will change and the little ritual of going out

of the Sasuraal for small time on the name of Pag phera will be done too.

Khushi: Mandir? OKay fine. I will tell Arnav too.

Anjali: Ohh Chotte will never come to temple. He doesnt believe in all this. But you can try.

She fed him the kheer lovingly sitting next to him on the bed while he continued wearing his tie

Arnav: Mandir? Whats the need to go out Khushi?

Khushi: Di wants to take me. And Its been long I havnt gone out from here.

Arnav: Aaj nahi. Phir kabhi. (Not today. Next time)

Khushi: Anrav please. Even you are going to work and If I would have stopped you from going there will you listen to me,?

Her question was to the point and valid one. He took the kheer bowl from her hand and placed it aside pulling her close to him. He wrapped his

arms on her petite waist and then looked in her eyes.

Arnav: Ek baar pooch ke toh dekho. I will stay with you for weeks at home, this same room, on the same bed. (He nuzzled his nose on her

earlobe biting it once and she winced in pain as he bite really hard.)

Khushi: Aah.

He looked back at her reddedned cheeks and then touched her nose with his finger.

Arnav: Laal Hai..(Its red)

Khushi: Kya? (What?)

Arnav: Tumhari Naak. Laal Hai (Your nose is reddened .)

She touched her nose to know whats wrong in that and then thought of some reply back to him.

Khushi: Kyon ki aap humse pyaar nahi karte. (Thats because you dont love me)

Arnav: Really? Subah paper mein aaya tha? (Really? Did it come in today's headlines?)

Khushi: Hum mazzak nahi kar rahe. Yeh dekhiye, humaari mehndi ka rang kitna feeka hai. Kyonki aap humse pyaar nahi karte. Jhoote kahi ke..

(I am not joking. See this. My Mehndi also didnt get a proper colour. That means you dont love me truely. Its all fake)

Arnav was very frustrated when she said something like that. He pulled her close to him and angrily looked in her eyes.

Arnav: Dont you dare say that again. Dobaara aisa kehne ki himmat nahi karna. Mere pyaar ko kisi saboot ki zaroorat nahi hai (DOnt dare say

that again. My Love doesnt need any proofs. )

She was so touched by this. She quickly said a Sorry for uttering rubbish like this in the morning and spoiling his mood.

Arnav: I have some plans for you tonight. Be ready.

She didnt go to ask him what his plans were. She knew he would always surprise her with the best.

Astha came inside the drawing room and Mr Roy greeted her. THis was very unusual for Mr Roy to come in Shantivan and meet Astha as all

their meets was usually outside. She never wanted her family to much interfere in her share of work and especially her Son Arnav. Astha and

Mr Roy discussed the matter which he was here for and there was a shocking expression on Astha's face.

Astha: This is impossible. I dont believe this.

Mr Roy : But Madam. I have checked his records.

Astha was shocked with the information she just got from her lawyer. How can this be possible?

Astha: I want to meet him personally.

Mr Roy: For that you will need to go to Central Jail. Mohan Gupta is imprisoned there.

Astha: I dont care Roy. Just take me there. I cannot wait to know that Khushi's real identity.

Mr Roy: OKay Madam. I will check the timings with the Jail to know when we can meet Mohan Gupta and let you know.

He left but Astha was getting more curious to know everything about this girl whom she had got in this house as her Bahu. Her real identity

was only known to one man and he was Mohan Gupta who was known to be her Step father. And she will never be late in knowing this truth.

Anjali and Khushi were out in the temple praying. Anshu was in Anjali's arms and he was crying being hungry.

Anjali: Khushi come down soon. I will wait in the Car. Anshu's feeding bottle is inside the Car. I will feed him till then

Khushi: Okay. I will come in few minutes.

Anjali kissed her Son and left towards the Car while Khushi started circling the temple along with others. She saw a rich man almost of the age

of her father getting down a car and entering the temple alone. It was so rare to find people like this who spent some time for the devotion of

god these days. The man came inside the temple and closing his eyes he prayed normally. Khushi came back inside the temple and waited for the

priest to give her Thali back. A flower from her thali felt down at the feet of this man and she immediately bent down to pick it up. The man

opened his eyes and saw her picking the flower. Her fingers almost touched his shoes and he moved back but not before blessing her.

"Jeeti raho Beta"(God bless you Beta)

Khushi rose up and smiled at him. There was something in this man which she was getting drawn into. As if she shared a connection with him.

Khushi; Shukriya .(Thanks)

She smiled and started walking down the temple stairs when she heard the Priest asking this man about his daughter.

Priest: Did you find anything about your daughter?

Man: Nothing yet Panditji. But today I am going to Mumbai and I know all my answers will be given there.

Khushi didnt know what the matter was but she just prayed that whoever his daughter was, he gets her back.

She was on the call with Arnav who was driving back home to her and she was describing this little incident that took place in the Mandir

today.

Arnav: Khsuhi I dont think you should be so much worried for everyone. Think about yourself first.

Khushi: But Arnav I really wish that man gets his daughter back. Its fate that sometime people have everything to lead a proper life but they

lack relationships and their life is still in misery.

Arnav: Who else than I would know this.? I always had everything to get the best of life but there were major things which I missed the most.

One of it being Love from the most important person in my life.

Khushi felt bad knowing this. She knew he was talking about Astha.

Khushi: Okay forget all this. What is the plan that you told me for tonight?

Arnav: Sabar karo Mrs Khushi Singh Raizada. The wait will be over after I reach home.

Khushi chuckled and then asked him to drive safe and come home soon. She cut the call and turned behind. She saw the servants taking some

bags down from the corridor. Someone was going out. But who? She came down and saw her mother in law again ready to go somewhere.

Nani: But Astha what work do you have in Mumbai?

Astha took the blessings of her mother.

Astha: Some unofficial work Maa. Dont worry about me. I will be back in a day or two. Tell Chotte and ANjali to take care.

Nani: I will.

Astha saw Khushi getting down the stairs and she gave her a fake smile. She came to her and extended the Keys which she had taken from Khushi

on her suhaagraat.

Astha: You may need this.

Khushi didnt know why her mother in law was returning the keys back. But she took it from her and leaned to take her blessings which she

never got as Astha left the place purposely.

There was something big she was planning but what, no one had an idea on this.

Night

The plan which Arnav had in his mind was put into action when he gave her the movie ticktes in hand. This was hard for her to believe that her

husband had booked a late night show movie that too of her favourite actor Salmaan Khan. She jumped in joy and then hugged him tight. He

took her in his arms while she kept thanking him

Khushi: I love you Arnav. But how did you know Salmaan Khan is my favourite?

Arnav: You have no idea how much I know about you Khushi. Right from the time of college. I was researching everything about you. You

favourite food, actor, movie, tv channel, I know everything.

SHe was so excited to know it from him. That showed how much he cared for her and loved her.

Khushi: The movie is at 10:00? And its already 08:00? I will get ready. just give me 10 minutes.

She was going to go to change her clothes but he stopped her.

Arnav: Wont I get anything for this surprise?

She blushed and looked down.

Khushi: Abhi ? (Now? )

Arnav: Haan Abhi. (Yes . Now)

He cupped her face and leaned to kiss his wife. She stared at his rough lips and waited for him to get what he deserved for this happiness.
