Chapter 10:

Next morning everybody is busy with the case. Sameer is in his cabin. Reading case related files. Suddenly his phone buzzed. He picke up and see Arjun's name on the screen. Sameer smiled and receive the call.

Arjun: Oye saale phone uthane me itna time kiyu lagaya?

Sameer: Chup kar saale. Yeh itne time hai? Aur mein keya teri biwi hoom jo mobile haath mein leke tere phone ka intejar karo!!

Arjun: Acca woh saab chod mujhe tujhse kuch jarrori baath karni hai.

Sameer: Ha bol.

Arjun: Tu jab bolne de tabh boluna!

Sameer: Aabe kamine meine tujhe kaab roka?

Arjun: Aare sun toh baat bohot important hai. Baki ke team members aab kaha hai?

Sameer: Conference room mein kiyu?

Arjun: Sun abhi 8:30 baje hai. 11 se lekar 12 baje tak mujhe office khali chahiye.

Sameer: Kiyu??

Arjun: Kiyu ki mein nehi chahta jaab mein office mein aao taab koi mujhe dekhe.

Sameer: Haan thik hain. KEYA??? TU JAB OFFICE AYE MATLAB???

Arjun: Matlab mein aj wapas aaraha hoom.

Sameer: Par tera mission..

Arjun: Maine Raghu sir se baath karli haim. Unhune do officers ko yaha bheja hai mission complete karne ke liye. Woh dono bohot hi kabil officer hai. Tnsn ki koi baat nehi.

Sameer mind dwels at the thought. Now what he would do? Would he tell Arjun about Riya? Yes, it's better if Arjun hear it from his mouth.

Sameer: Arjun tujhe ek important baath karna hai. Riya ke baare mein.

Arjun: Tu yehi kehna chahta hai na ki Riya ne kal ETF join kiya hai?

Sameer (a little taken aback) : Tujhe kaise patha?

Arjun (taking a deep breath): Usski bada bhai Ronit ne mujhe call kiya tha.

Sameer: Damm it Rawte. Tune mujhe bathaya kiyu nehi?

Arjun: Do reason. Ek main uss bare mein koi discuss nehi karna chahta tha aur dusra reason ye ki ussdin meri aur Sakshi ki shadi thi. Ha Sam. Riya ussidin wapas India mein ayi aur ussdin subah hi mujhe Ronit ka call aya tha. Maine Ronit ko meri aur Sakshi ki shadi ki bare mein bathaya bhi tha but I thin ussne Riya se kuch bhi nehi kaha. Mujhe patha tha ki Riya wapas ETF jaroor karna chahegi. Maine yeh joining roukneki bohot koushish ki par rouk nehi paya. Kal raat jab maine Sakshi ko call kiya tab woh bohot ro rahi thi. Tabhi mai samajh geya ki Riya ne ETF join karli hai. Dekh Sam Riya mera ateet hai. Main apna ateet ka chaya hamare aaj mein nehi padne de sakhta.

Sameer: Thik hai. Main samajh geya. Tu phikar maath kar. Main saabko bahar bhej dunga.

Arjun: Thanks yaar.

Sameer: Kaminey. Dost bhi kehta hai aur thanks bhi deta hai. Sharam nehi aata.

Arjun (lauging): Ok. Chal aab phone rakhta hoom. Bye.

Sameer: Bye.

Arjun cuts the call. His mind drifted back to that day..

Flashback-

Arjun is getting ready. Today he is going to marry Sakshi. He is finally going to make her his. He smiled at the thought. Suddenly hi phone buzzed.

Arjun: Iss waqt kisney call kiya?

He pick up the call..

Arjun: Hallo. ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte bol raha hoom.

Other person: MainRonit hoom. Riya ka bada bhai.

Arjun was about to cut the call when Ronit spoke up.

Ronit: Plz Arjun don't cut the call. I have a important thing to say.

Arjun: I don't want to hear anything.

Ronit: Agar mein kahu aaj Riya India wapas jaa rahi hai toh bhi nehi?

Arjun: Keya?

Ronit: Haan. Aaj Riya India wapas jaa rahi hai. Tumhare paas.

Arjun: Too late. Aaj main kisi aur ka hoone jaa raha hoom . Haan aaj mera shadi hai. So plz. Main aab phone rakhta hoom. I am getting late.

Flashback ends..

Arjun understood that Ronit woldn't tell Riya anything so he decided to keep an eye on Riya. He also knew that Riya would ty to join ETF again so tried to stop the joining but it seems he failed.

Arjun (in mind): Don't worry Sakshi I am coming. I won't let the shadow of my past ruine our present and future. Don't worry.

Meanwhile in conference room-

Liza: Specky sen!! Tumhaari himmat kaise hui meri personal diary ko haath laagane ki?

Shree: Oye Specky maath bulao mujhe. Aur sirf ek diary hi to hai. Koi LOVE LETTER thodi na hai.

Liza: Tumhe itna bhi nehi patha ki kisiki personal diary ko nehi padte.

Shree: Toh keya hua. Waise pad bhi kaha paya. Usse pehle hi tumne dekh liya.

Liza: Oh to accha hua ki mein sahi time pe dekh liya.

Shree: Waise tha keya uss diary me?

Liza: Tumse mathlab. Ab chupchap apna kaam karo warna Rathod sir se damm it sunna pade ga.

Shree grimaced but give attention at his work.

Jay is stealing glance at Sakshi time to time. She is wearing kamiz with churidar. Hands full of bangles. She is indeed loking like out of the world. 2 hours pass like this. Then Rathod entered the room and banged his fists at table in anger..

Rathod: Damm it. Abhi taak ek bhi clue nehi mila.

Sakshi: Sameer tum phikar maath karo. Bohot jald haame koi na koi clue mil hi jayga.

Rathod: Hmm. Ek kaam karo. Jay tum Riya aur chotu lekar aaj phir ekbaar crime spot chali jao. Shree tum Sakshi ko lekar uss couple se aur ekbaar milo. Liza tum un bodies ko dobara check karo. Aisha tum mere sath chalo.

In Jay's car Jay is driving and Riya is sitting beside him. Chotu is sitting behind.

Jay: Waise Chotu tum ETF mein kitne dino se kaam kar rahe ho?

Chotu: 5 saal. ETF join karke kaisa laag raha hai?

Jay: Boho accha lag raha hai. I am really enjoying.

Chotu: Dekho Jay haam tumhe apnana chahte hai. Isssliye ek advise de rahi hoom. Sakshi ki taraf aakh uthakar bhi maath dekhna. Woh tumhari kabhi nehi baan sakhti.

Jay (stammering): Woh main woh..

Chotu (snaping him short): Haamne notice kiya. Jhut bolneka koi fayda nehi. Aur Riya mujhe atha hai ki tumhe bohot bura laga but humhe tumhe apnaneme waqt lagega. Isske bij aisa kuch maath karna ki.. I hope you can understand.

Riya just nodded. She couldn't control her tears. This is enough for her. At least they are trying.

Half an hor later Sameer got a call from Arjun. Then he dialed Sakshi's number. That time Sakshi and Shree were interrogating that couple.

Sakshi: Ha Sameer bolo.

Sameer: Woh tumhe abhi office jana padega. Ek jaroori file hai Arjun ke cabin mein. Woh haame jara chahiye.

Sakshi: Okay Sameer. Main Shree ko lekar abhi nikalti hoom.

Sameer: Nehiii. I mean Shree ko apna kaam karne do. Tum ek taxi pakad ke chali jao.

Sakshi: Ok Sameer. But kounsa file chahiye aur kaha lana hai.

Sameer: Tum Arjun ke cabin mein jao waha jake mujhe call karna main baata dunga.

Sakshi: Ok.

Sakshi tell Shree about the situation and leave for office.

Meanwhile Aisha looked at Sameer suspiciously. They are just trying to find a link between the dead people. Right now they don't need any file. Sameer looked at her understand her state. He just chuckled under his breath and reamin quite.

At time Sakshi reached at the office and straight went to Arjun's cabin. Everything is dark there. Shakshi became a bit puzzled. Suddenly someone hugged her from behind. Sakshi started to scream but stopped recognizing his smell.

Sakshi (in a whisper): Arjun...

Arjun made her turn around and hugged her.

Sakshi: Arjun tum..yaha..kaise?

Arjun just smiled and releasing her he went to the window and open the curtains. Then come back again and cupped her face with his hands. He pecked at her forhead and hugged her again.

Arjun: Tumse aur dur raha nehi jaa raha tha. Issliye chala aya.

Sakshi: Par Arjun tumhara mission..

Arjun: Tum mission ke bare mein fikar math karo. It has been taken care of.

Sakahi just laughed and buried her face at arjun's chest.

Arjun (in a husky voice): You are looking beatifull Sakshi. You always look beautifull.

Saying that Arjun lift up her chin and claimed her lips. His hands started to roam over her body. Sakshi just moaned. Without breaking the kiss Arjun lift her up in his arms and made her lie in the couch. Sakshi's hands went around his neck. She pulled him towards her. Arjun rubed his body with hers. Arjun moved to kiss her neck. Suddenly startling the besharam lovebirds Arjun's phone started ringing. Arjun cursed under his breath and move away from Sakshi. It was Sameer's call.

Arjun: Kamina phone karneka aur koi waqt nehi mila? Tu dost hai ya payar ka dushman?

Sameer: Jaroori tha issliye call kiya. DIG sir ne call kiya tha. Hamse milna chahte hai. Woh ek ghante mein office pouch rahe hai. Aur ha yeh office hai tumlogo ka ghar nehi. Besharam kahika..

Arjun started to say something but Sameer cuts the call. Meantime Sakshi had composes herself. Now she understood why Sameer had sent her office so urgently.

Sakshi (a bit shaky voice): Sameer ne keya kaha?

Arjun (sighed): DIG sir haamse milna chahte hai. Bas ek ghante mein pouch rahe hai.

Slowly it drawns to Sakshi that Arjun is going to meet Riya soon. Now what? She know Arjun's anger. She will have to keep Arjun calm. She will have to talk with Arjun about it. Not now. Soon she promised to herself. She doesn't know why Riya did this but she had seen a verge of pain in Riya's eyes. She will make everything right. Yes she will...
