PART 3Both of them reached room no 253 on the upper floor carefully without getting noticed otherwise they may harm payal.While going through the corridor they found a man coming out from the room and they tried to hide themselves.But since it was a plian corridor there was no place for two people to hide.Arjun pulled Roshni in an embrace and locked her between him and the wall,posing as if kissing her.The man looked at them,smiled and went away.Instantly roshni pushed him aside and glared at him.
They both reached the room ready with their guns.The door was ajar.Arjun peeped through the door and found a man standing setting something on a tri pod stand.Arjun signalled Roshni and both entered kicking the door open.There were three men in the room.One was exactly in front of the door turned at the sudden entry and Arjun shot at him dead.Roshni took the other one at the far end.The third one hid himself in the other room and started firing.But Roshni gave a good cover and Arjun tackled and killed him too.
They went inside the other room and found the room completely empty except two sofas and a big bed.Payal was lying unconcious on it,hand tied to the bed.Three cameras were placed at different angles from the bed.The curtains were drawn so that no light came in except for a small night light.A jug of water kept on the side table.
Both looked at each other and understood the setup.Roshni went close to Payal and untied her hands and tried to wake her up but she was drugged and didnt even move.Arjun was watching her from a distance at the door.He didnt move an inch towards the bed.Roshni took the jug from the side table and sprinkled some water on her face.But still nothing could get her to senses.She looked back at Arjun but didnt find him there.
She rushed out to the living room and found him standing there facing his back towards her leaning on the wall.She had already called her other officers and informed about the situation,they were taking care outside.She went close to him and held his arm.He straighten but didnt look at her.
'Hume use yaha se le jana hoga,its not safe here,'Roshni spoke breaking the silence around them.Arjun just nodded and went inside.He sat next to payal and called her several times,smoothing her hair.But she didnt budge,the drug was still quite active.He scooped her up in his arms and walked out of the room.Roshni followed him silently outside the hotel.He placed her in the police jeep and waited for roshni to complete instructing the other men outside.Roshni came and took the drivers seat.Payal unconsciously slid her head on her brother's shoulder and arjun held her protectively in his arms.
Roshni drove them to her home.Arjun had already been informed about that on the way,though he protested a few times but roshni's home was safest and most comfortable for payal he kept quite.Roshni took them to a small flat she was staying at present.It was small but comfortable one.They took payal to the bedroom and layed her on the bed.Arjun sat next to her,all the time caressing her hair.Roshni arranged her room a bit to make place for them and went away to make tea and something to eat.
Roshni came back after few minutes with tea and some sandwich to find arjun sitting at the same position looking blankly at the sleeping payal.There was a drop of tear rolling down from the end of his eye.She has noticed him going completely silent the moment he had seen payal but now she felt an sudden urge to go and comfort him.She took him the tea and the plate with sandwich and called him,
'Sir,'Feeling her presence Arjun quickly wiped the tear drop from his cheek and looked up.He saw the food in her hand and again looked down at payal,
'mujhe bhook nehi hai,'
'payal ke liye bhi hai,per usse hosh to ane dijiye,kuch kha lijiye...,'Roshni smiled and almost forced the plate in his hand.
There was something in her gesture that didnt increase his rage,he clamly obeyed her orders,took the food and sat silent again looking at her while she too sat on the bed facing him with her plate and sipped the hot tea.They were silently eating when payal slowly moved.She was gaining senses.Arjun placed the plate awa and held her hand.Payal woke up from the long slumber and looked around.She found Arjun sitting beside looking at her intently.
'bhaiya??ap yaha?',she asked surprised and looked around the surrounding,
'kaisi ho?sar dard kar raha hai kiya??,'Arjun asked her,
'nehi mein thik hu,aap yaha kiyu aye?mein apna khyal rakh sakhti hu,kiyu nehi samjhte ap,mein bachi nehi hu,'payal shouted at him and tried to get up,but her head starting swinging and she fell down only to be held by arjun.She jerked his arms away and shouted,
'mujhe yaha kiyu laye ho?mujhe ghar jana hai,abhi,'she tried to get down but she was weak,arjun held her arm and steadied her,
'bakwas band karo payal,kiya karna chahti ho tum?drugs le rahi ho?mana kiya tha na?aur ye kaise kapre pehene hai?samaj nehi ata tumhe?agar aj kuch ho jata to?mein agar sahi time pe nehi jata to wo log to tumhe...,band karo ye sab payal,last warning de raha hu,'
'ho gaya apka?de diya jitna gyan dena tha?samjhana tha?mein samaj gayi hu samjhe ap?aur kiya hota mujhe??kiya karte wo log?mar dalte?to acha hai na?apki ek aur pareshani khatam ho jayegi,fir ap aram se apni zindagi bita sakte hai.Apne kabhi bhi hamare bare mein socha hai?jo aj mu uthake chale aye ye apna faltu ka gyan batne?mein eise hi jiungi,drugs lungi,isse bhi zada gandhe kapre pehenungi,jaha jana hai waha jaungi,samjhe ap Mr.Arjun Rawte.Ap mujhe...',her words trailled off when she felt a tight slap on her left cheek.
'agar sahi waqt per mein nehi pahuchta to wo log tumhare sath...'
She looked up and found Arjun standing glaring at her.His eyes were red emitting fire.He rushed out of the house.
Roshni had been witnessing this drama with lot of interest,alternating her looks between the brother-sister duo,but the sudden rage of Arjun scared her.She kept looking at his back.She looked back at payal and found her angry form shaking sititng on the bed.
Roshni was angry on her now,she walked out leaving alone in the room,and went down.There she found Arjun standing at the balcony holding on to the railings,he was shaking too..She walked upto him and waited for him to compose.
