of course an amazing update..i think his conversation over the phone is gonna be the last straw? 😕 does his mom ask him to marry someone else? i wish the date happens though..please 😳😛

"hello..mom? I can't hear anything.." he spoke in the phone, keeping one hand on his other ear, trying to listen what his mom was saying on the other end..

his mom said something, but he couldn't comprehend.. "mom? Hello.."

"armaan bahar jaakar baat kar lo na.." shilpa nidged..

"par...we were saying those vows shona.." he indicated towards the pandit but she calmly replied with a smile.. "its okay..we can do it later.."

"but shona.."

"armaan! Maine kaha na..its not a real wedding! We were just repeating the vows..its okay..go ahead and take the call.."

"you sure?"

she replied with a soft peck on his lips.. "yes..please go.."

he reluctantly got up but noticed one of his hands was still entwined with hers.. he looked back at her indicating that and she left his hand..so that he could go.

He was disappointed that he had to leave her and the vows incomplete and come out like this..he knew she was upset too, but she won't ever say..she was way too selfless for that..

"yeah mom..can you hear me now?" he came outside in the balcony..

"yeah its fine now...how are you armaan?" ananya spoke on the othe other end.. she hoped armaan won't shout or hang up on her this time..

"i..i'm good mom...how are you?" his cheerful voice made her smile, so he was fine..she sighed and replied.. "ab gussa toh nahi hai na mera bacha?"

he chuckled at that..how much ever years passed by, or situations changed, a mom will always be a mom and his son will always be a bacha! "nahi mom..in fact i'm sorry for talking like that...kya keh rahe the aap uss din?"

and with that, ananya was suddenly reminded of that day's conversation when she had called him to tell about his marriage plans, what she and billy had been thinking and planning about armaan's future..

"oh yeah that...lekin pehle promise karo..tum gussa nahi karoge aur phone bhi disconnect nahi karoge.."

"haan mom! I won't shout or disconnect! Ab aap bataoge? I have to go back..i don't have all night!" his voice celraly refelcted how relaxed he was to talk to his mom..

"okay listen..armaan see i know i always told you that riddhima was the perfect one for you and that if you loved her you shouldn't have come like that.."

"i know mom..but wouldn't it be nice if our conversation is about the present? Or the future?"

"okay..i'll come straight to the point..you remember balraj uncle?"

"who?" he asked confused and now that he knew the conversation was going to be a long one, he ran up the stairs to the terrace..he could meanwhile recheck his date arrangements too..

"arre billy's friend balraj...new york waale? You haven't ever met him but we talk about him..acha khair, so i don't know know when and how, but billy and he started about weddings and all and billy asked his daughter for you.."

"hmm..." armaan looked around the terrace, almost ignoring what his mother was telling..he heard a few words though..billy..new york..wedding.. but he was engrossed in making the candle stand straight on the table and checking if the lighting was perfect..

"and when he told me about it..i also thought, and bacha i like the girl..i have seen her picture and i really really like her.in fact balraj has even told her about you and i'm sure she would love you! Her name's shilpa.."

"shilpa?" his attention was brought back to the conversation with that word..

"who shilpa mom? Kya kaha aapne?" he stood leaning towards the balcony..

"shilpa malhotra..actually balraj bhaiya ki adopted beti hai..that's why the difference in the surname..lekin beta bohot achi ladki hai..in fact tu toh milla hoga na usse?"

"main? uh..haan..haan main mila toh hoon..i mean..vo yahin hai..uh.." he was utterly confused now..how could ananya know about shilpa? And how was she so sure that armaan had met her? And...ugh it was all so confusing!

"haan wahin hai vo...teri vo dost niki ki shadi ke liye...nikita balraj bhaiya ki neice hai na! In fact unhone bataya tha shilpa ko tere baare me..we sent a photo of yours too..and i think she likes you too! They haven't replied yet, but i'm sure its gonna be a yes..and now only i wanted to talk to you...vaise i think shilpa ne kuch bataya hoga? Do you like her?" ananya asked hopefully but armaan was numb..everything trhat sounded so casual was not as light for him..he felt stabbed..shilpa knew that their parents wanted to set them up together? Why didn't she want to tell him? And all that that had been happening till now..what was it? A setup? He always wondered how was shilpa so comfortable around him, so bold..and now it all started to make sense.. she knew everything from day 1 and was part of the plan..in fact, he wondered if she made the plan! He didn't know what to think of her..she didn't look like someone who would play with people like this..but she had..she had hidden everything from him..why? Maybe to gain his confidence? Yeah, that t could be..she was so good to him even when he was rude to her..all the things that had made him fall in love with her and admire her looked like a big trap in which she wanted to capture him..she wasn't innocent..she knew it all..and he was the only one unknown..he was the one unaware of her plans..she was kind to him not because of love, but because she wanted to dig out his hidden secrets.. a lone tear escaped his eye thinking about her now.. he couldn't decipher if it was anger,hatred, disgust or disappointment.. but he knew it was the end now..his bubble had been burst..life could never be good to him..

"armaan? Beta are you there?"

"ji...uh..uh...i'll talk to you later mom.." he cut the call and sighed..he needed to talk to her and clear it out but he didn't wish to even face her now..she wasn't worth it..she wasn't worth confiding in..

he turned around to go to his room and there she was. Sitting on one of the chairs with her elbows on teh table and hand under her chin, waiting for him to finish his call..she looked up at him and smiled..

"aapki mom thi?"

"you should know better shilpa..you know everything.." he started towards her in a gradual pace but his blood shot eyes spoke volumes..

"armaan?" she stood up nervous now..

"it'll be kind of you if you didn't utter my name ms. Shilpa malhotra.." he warned her and started to go downstairs but felt a tug at his hand..

"armaan? Kya keh rahe ho aap?" she was still confused..she couldn't think of anything that would make him so angry and talk to her like that..

"right!" he crossed his arms in front of his chest and gave a sad little side smile..

"main kya keh sakta hoon? Am i allowed to be a part of your plan? Or should i behave just as you want?"

"armaan?" she just kept repeating his name..things did not make sense around her..a setup of what looked like a special dinner date and him talking like that.. there were so many emotions building up inside her..making her vision blurry with tears and he still stood unaffected..her tears didn't affect him..oh no, they did..they made him even more angry..

"armaan what shilpa?" he finally shouted and snatched his hand back out of her hold.. "armaan what? Tumhe toh kuch pata hi nahi hoga na? You don't know who i am and you don't know our parents want to get us married!" his anger came out in his words hitting her like a knife..stabbing right through her..

"marriage? Armaan i ..i really don't know anything about it.." she still didn't know what was he accusing her of..all she knew was that there was some misunderstanding and she only wanted to remove all doubts..

"oh! And you don't even know my photo that you saw? And then you came to india to check me , right? You don't even know anything about that too?" his eyes were blood red, his face screaming anger and his body stiff..

"armaan! Please trust me..i genuinely don't know anything..aur maine koi photo nahi dekhi armaan..please listen.." she went closer and held his hand again, only to let him jerk her off again..he pointed a finger and continued.. "you miss, i am way to naive to understad your plans..so lets just..part ways okay? I don't wanna be a victim of your super well plan..please spare me.." he spoke the words slow and clear..and went away from there..he didn't wanna stand there and let her play with him anymore..

and she fell on the floor crying incecesantly now..there was no plan..she hadn't come to india to check him..and she hadn't seen his photo either..but she couldn't understand what made him think all that and accuse her ..she couldn't understand anything..all she knew was that her life had just told her to part ways..

Omggg,its was such a sad part ,i know shona aisa kuch nhi karegi but armaan kam se kam uski baat sun leta kritz tune alag kiya yaar i cant see arsh in pain n plss do cont soon n unko mila de jaldi
