It a very different concept...so true to life.As someone had posted after the first chapter, it is so true that in India there is an unsaid rule of not dating your brother's friends, they automatically become your "Bhaiya" ...It happened to me some 20 years back and when I read this story of yours all those memories came flooding back. At this juncture in my life I can think back and laugh at it but I can totally feel what Khushi must be feeling.I knew about his feelings through some cousins of his that were my friends too but he never came up to me and said anything. We went about our lives.I always thought about going up to him and confronting him but somehow never had the courage to do it, was always worried if my parents and brother found out what would happen. My marriage got fixed and to top it all he even attended my wedding. I hated him at that point in my life. There are still times when his thoughts creep back into my head, as a teen I was not sure about my feelings, I did like him and we were good friends but beyond that I was just too scared...times were different too.We are still in touch, each of us happily married and settled. But I always wonder what if he had come up to me and confessed his feelings...anyhow I love your story...you are a brilliant writer Nidhi...hats off to your talent.
