A/N:

It does seem as if someone has cursed this epilogue after all!

After battling with a terrifying case of writer's block and a demanding asli duniya for over a week, I am now suffering from fever that makes it difficult to type for a long period of time. I have only managed to write half the Epilogue, and I am trying to complete it before the weekend.

I really hate to make you all wait so much for this update, and I am truly sorry that this has happened!

Thank you all for your continued patience, here is an excerpt from the Epilogue, and the rest will definitely be posted before this weekend.

Excerpt from the Epilogue

The voices of their guests and the sounds of the night disappeared abruptly as a warm, firm grasp pulled her away swiftly, before anyone could notice what was happening.

She didn't need to look to know just who this was.

There was only one man who made her heart race, only one voice that made her insides quiver with a restless craving...

Once they were sheltered behind the grouping of tall ornamental ferns that bordered the poolside, he finally turned her to face him.

She smiled, then wound her arms around his neck.

"Aren't you going to ask me why I've brought you here, away from everyone else?"

She shook her head, content to stay in his arms like this all night, if she could.

He smiled .

"Not even a hint of curiosity?"

She smiled too, then reached up to trace the contours of his lips.

"You can take me wherever you want...whenever you want. Don't you know that by now?"

He kissed the palm of her hand, then leaned forward to push aside her hair before kissing her neck as well.

She arched her neck to give him better access, her body shivering with the beginnings of desire that only he could arouse.

"Are you saying that I can seduce you anywhere I want? At any given time?"

She opened her eyes and focused on the teasing glint on his, then nestled closer in his embrace.

But even as she parted her lips to reply , he turned her once more to face the Mahal.

"As tempting as that sounds, I will hold myself in check until you see this."

She followed his gaze, then held her breath at what she saw.

He pulled her back against his front, then wound his arms around her bare middle.

"I wanted us to be together...just you and I, when this happened..."

She continued to stare, even as a burst of incandescent joy flooded through her.

A joy that wouldn't take her away from him.

Not anymore.

Take care Juhi di and i hope you find a way to break this curse, as well.. :D i wonder which Payal wud hav cursed our 'Seduction' and left us.. Suffering if not for years then certainly for days that were no less that years! :P
