Priyanka sat beside Pia.

Abhigyan: Kaise ana hua?

Priyanka: Ek bohot bari khush khabri dene!

Abhigyan: Khush khabri?

Piyali: Kya hai good news?

Priyanka: Meri shaadi fix hogayi hai...

Piyali: Sach! That's a great news! Congrats!

Priyanka: Thanks.

Abhigyan: Congrats!

Piyali: Kya nam hai? Kaha ke hai? Kuch bol na!

Priyanka: Tu bolne degi to bolungi na! Sumit hai nam. Dehradun rehte hai... aur unki family chahte hai ki sare functions Dehradun mei ho.

Piyali: (sarcastically)Oww. Then that's a big problem for Anamika and Abhigyan... Kyu ki inndonoko itna kaam hota hai ki dono office chorke Mumbai se bahar ja hi nehi sakte hai!

Priyanka: But this time, no excuse will work! Meri shaadi to ek hi bar hogi na, aur kaam sari zindagi chalti rahegi! Donoko ana hi parega!

Abhigyan: Dekhta hu. Mai baad mei confirm karunga. Is that fine?

Priyanka: Hmmm. Thik hai, ab mujhe jana hoga. Ms. Fashion Designer se milne jana hai.

Piyali: Chal mai bhi chalti hu.

Priyanka and Piyali left Abhigyan's office.

Anamika was guiding Atul and Rishika.

Anamika: Tum donoko jitna mai guide kar rahi hu utna tum bakilogoko bhi guide kar dena. This time i don't want anything...ANYTHING to go wrong!

Atul and Rishika: Okay ma'am.

Anamika: To...(Priyanka and Piya knocks the door)Come in.

Priyanka and Piyali entered the cabin.

Anamika: Priya! Pia! Tum dono...

Atul and Rishika: Hello ma'am.

Anamika to Atul and Rishika: Jitna bola hai utna kaam hojaye to mujhe inform karna.

Rishika: Yes ma'am!

Atul and Rishika left. Priyanka and Piyali sat.

Priyanka: Humne disturb kia kya? Busy thi?

Anamika: Tum sabke liye mai busy nehi ho sakti. Kaise ana hua?

Piyali: Priyanka ki shaadi tay hogayi hai.

Anamika: Wow! Congratulations!

Priyanka: Tumhe Dehradun jana parega. Kaam ka koi excuse nehi chalega!

Anamika: Dehradun... Kitne dino ke liye?

Piyali: Shaadi ke sare functions ke liye jitne din lagte hai utne dino ke liye. Almost a month...

Anamika: Ek mahina!

Priyanka: Mai pehle se batadeti hu, i am not going to hear anything! Yaar, mai shaadi bar-bar to karne nehi wali, ki tu iss shaadi mei nehi to dusre shaadi mei ajayegi!

Piyali laughed.

Priyanka: Piyali, kabhi to serious hojaya kar, yaar!

Piyali: Okay, okay...

Anamika: Par...

Priyanka: Yaar Pia tumhe nehi lagta Abhi aur Ana bilkul ek jaise hai.

Piyali: Hmmm, you are right!

Priyanka: Donoke dimaag mei humesha kaam kaam aur sirf kaam rehta hai!

Piyali: Ana, tu kaam ke wajah se aapne dost ki shaadi nehi attend karegi?

Anamika: Meri baat to suno...

Priyanka and Piyali didn't let Anamika say anything. Atul knocked on the door.

Atul: May i come in ma'am?

Anamika: Come in.

Atul: Sorry to disturb you, ma'am.

Anamika: Kya kaam hai?

Atul: Aapne Dehradun mei kuch zameen ke owners se meetings karne ke dates mange the.

Anamika: So, what are the dates?

Atul: 21, 23, 24 and 27 Feb. Aur ma'am, 28 Feb, 1, 2 March you have a meetings in Mumbai with some clients. Aap kahe to mai Dehradun ke meetings cancel kardu? Mumbai ke meetings important hai.

Anamika: No, no, no! Dehradun ke meetings bohot zaruri hai. Wait! Priyanka, shaadi 20-25 Feb tak khatam hojayegi na?

Priyanka: Haan maybe.

Anamika: Okay, thanks. Atul, Dehradun ke meetings fix karo aur Mumbai ke meetings tum 20-25 ke baad fix karo.

Atul: But ma'am...

Anamika: Do as i say!

Atul: Okay... Okay, ma'am.

Anamika: Good.

Atul left.

Anamika: To confirm hogaya, i am coming!(smiles)

Abhigyan was talking with Ananya. His cellphone rang, 'Dad' flashing on the screen.

Abhigyan: Ek minute, Angel.

Angel: Okay.

He picked up the call.

Abhigyan: Yes dad.

Rudraksh: Abhi, London se jo clients arahe hai vo Dehradun mei rukenge. Volog Mumbai nehi ayenge. To tum kuch dino ke liye Dehradun chale jana.

Abhigyan: Thik hai, dad. Mujhe kab jana hoga?

Rudraksh: Yehi kuch tin-char din mei, 22nd ko. Usske baad bhi do-tin meetings aur hai.

Abhigyan: Don't worry dad. I'll handle all the meetings.

Rudraksh: Okay, bete. Bye.

Abhigyan: Bye dad.

Call disconnected.

Angel: (started discussing again)Abhi, ye proje...(he interrupted)

Abhigyan: Wait, Angel, wait.

She felt a little bad. He called Priyanka but her phone was unreachable. He then called Piyali but her phone was busy.

Abhigyan: Inndonoke phones hi busy hai! (thinking)Shayad dono Anamika ke saath hai... Ana ko call karu?...

He tried again to Piyali and Priyanka.

Ananya: Abhi, agar answer nehi kar rahe hai to baad mei call karna. Ye discuss karna zaruri hai.

Abhigyan: (getting angry)I know what is important and what is not! You don't have to preach me. We can discuss his later but now, I've to call Ana.

His rude behavior made her upset. He dialed Anamika's number.

Abhigyan to Ananya: Angel, go back to your cabin. NOW! We'll discuss this later! Am i clear?!

She was more hurt. So she immediately left.

Anamika's Signature Style, Head-Office

Her phone rang, 'Abhi' flashing on the screen.

Piyali: Kiska call hai?

Anamika: (surprised)Abhigyan ka!

Piyali: Kya baat hai, aaj kal vo mujhse zyada tujhe call karta hai... What's going on, huh?

Anamika: Too much, Pia! Too much...

Piyali and Priyanka laughed.

She answered the call.

Anamika: Hello?

Abhigyan: ...Hi, Ana. This is Abhigyan.

Anamika: Haan, bolo.

Abhigyan: Tumhare office mei Priya ya Pia hai kya?

Anamika: Haan hai.

Abhigyan: Unnse keh dena ki mai Dehradun ja sakta hu. Mere kuch meetings hai waha.

Anamika: Okay, i'll tell them.

Abhigyan: Thanks.

Anamika: Bye.

Call disconnected.

Priyanka: Kya bola ussne?

Anamika: Yehi ki vo Dehradun jaasakta hai because he has some meetings to handle.

Priyanka: Oo, wow! What a coincidence! Tum donoke meetings ke wajah se tum dono jaa rahe ho. Nehi to pata nehi tumlogoko convince karne ke liye kya kya karna parta...

Piyali: (in her mind)Are wah! Ye to bohot achcha hogaya! Humare jane se pehle ye dono thora time spend karpayenge. Thank you, Babaji. Aapne innhe milane ke liye meri madat kardi. Thank you! Lekin pura credit mujhe milna chahiye!

Purvi was checking some files, sitting on her chair. Payal was standing beside her.

Purvi: (closing the file)Hmmm. Good. Everything's correct. Good job!

Payal: Thanks, ma'am.(takes the file)

Purvi: Want to say something?

Payal: Yes, ma'am. I wanted to change my today's night-duty...

Purvi: Why?

Payal: Actually...ma'am, today my MIL has invited my whole family for dinner. So...can i switch my duty with someone else...

Purvi: Hmmm. Okay. You can switch your duty with Harry. I'll talk to him.

Payal: Thank you, ma'am. Thank you sooo much!

Payal started towards the door to leave, she stopped and turned. Purvi looked at her. Then both bursted into laughter.

7:30pm

Anamika's Signature Style, Head-Office

It's almost time for everyone to leave, everyone's just getting ready to leave.

Anamika's cabin

She was on the land-phone.

Anamika: Bring me the file of Frida Designs. I'll take the file home today.

Call disconnected.

Outside her cabin

Someone entered the office. After seeing the person, everyone got up from their seats and wished him 'Welcome, sir'. Then he slowly moved towards Anamika's cabin.

Anamika's cabin

The person knocked the door.

Unknown: May i come in, ma'am?

Anamika: (without looking at the person)Yes. Give me the file.

The person didn't reply but went behind Anamika's chair.

Unknown: I don't have the file, but...i have these chocolates.(forwards the chocolates in front of her)

She got confused hearing the man's voice and the chocolates. She turned and her eyes twinkled like stars.

Anamika: (delighted)Dada!!(gets up from seat and hugs him)Dada, aap India mei! So glad to see you!

[It's Nikhil!]

Anamika: Dada, aap India mei kaise?

Nikhil: Jiss kaam ke liye gaya tha, vo khatam hogaya... So, i am back!

Anamika: Aap...ghar gaye tha?

Nikhil: Nope! Airport se sidha tere paas ya hu.

Anamika: Aap ekdam sahi time pe aye ho!

Nikhil: Kyu?

Anamika: Ghar chalke khud hi dekh lijiye.

Both left for Satraj Palace.

8:15pm

Satraj Palace

Payal and her parents were sitting in the living area with Jairaj, Purvi and Gautam.

Gautam: Ana di abhitak nehi ayi...

Anamika entered. She greeted Payal's parents.

Payal: Teri late hone ki aadat abhitak nehi gayi!

Anamika: Jab tujhe pata chalega ki mai kyu late huyi to tu khushi se pagal hojayegi.

Gautam: Aisa kya hua, di?

Anamika: Mai kisiko aapne saath lekar ayi hu.

Payal: Ana, tera suspense ab humse bardashht nehi hota!

Anamika: Aap andar aasakte hai.

Nikhil entered. All were very surprised to see him. Payal was the happiest to see him, thus she ran to him and hugged him.

Nikhil: (whispering in her ears)Jaan, we're not alone here. Our families are with us...

They broke the hug.

Purvi: Nikhil, Anamika, tumdono fresh hokar niche aajao. Mai dinner lagvati hu.

Anamika and Nikhil went to their rooms.

Abhigyan's room

He was getting ready for going somewhere. He was searching for something all over the room.

Abhigyan: (searching on the bed-side table drawers)Where did i keep the watch... Kaha gaya!

He opened the closet to search. After searching in the drawers, he couldn't find his watch but found something else, a file with little yellowish papers. He took in his hands and became thoughtful(actually emotional). In that same drawer, also was a small round-shaped box. He took that box in another hand. He became emotional, almost tears came in his eyes. He was about to open the box, when Piyali entered so he hurriedly tried to keep that back on the but it fell on the floor, and he wiped his tears.

Piyali: (suspecting and noticed his tears)Kya hua tumhe? Aur ye sab kya hai?

Abhigyan: (trying to keep them back in the drawer)Ku...kuch ne...nehi...

She reached at the drawer to find those things.

Piyali: (with hand on the drawer-handle to open it)Tum kuch to zarur chupa rahe ho. Aur vo baat mujhse kabhi chup nehi sakti!(pulled out the drawer)

She found those things, she took the box and opened it. She was almost shocked to see something in that box.

Piyali: (shocked)Abhigyan, ye sab...ye sab ab bhi tumhare paas hai! Tumne ab bhi, itne saalo baad bhi, ye sab sambhalke rakkha hai!
(keeping those back in the drawer and slammed the drawer closed)Abhigyan, won't you ever move on in your life! Ab mujhe pata chala ki jab bhi aunty, uncle, bebbe ya koi bhi tumhe shaadi ke liye bolti hai tum kabhi raazi kyu nehi hote... Raazi hote bhi kaise, abtak tumne inn purane-kaantei bhare yaado ko chora kaha hai!

He was trying to control his tears.

Piyali: (emotional)Kyu, Abhi? Bolte kyu nehi! Bolo, kyu abhi bhi tumne inhe sambhal ke rakkha hai?! Tum kyu inn dard bhare yaado se bahar nehi ate?! Speak up, Abhi! Speak up!

Abhigyan: (finally he spoke, in a loud voice out of emotions)Haan! Nehi nikal paya hu mai unn yaado se bahar! Ab wahi meri zindagi hai!

Piyali: No! Never! I will never let that happen. I will never let you live with this painful memories! I will make sure that you move on in your life, with the right person you can completely trust on... And that's my promise!

He was about to say something, but Priyalata entered.

Priyalata: (completely unknown of the situation)Kya baatei chal rahi hai do dosto ke bich?

Abhigyan turned around to wipe his tears, not facing Priyalata.

Piyali: (wiping her tears and going forward)Nothing, aunty.(fake smile)

Priyalata: Tum dono roo rahe the...

He turned again to them after wiping tears.

Piyali: Are aunty-ji, aap kya bol rahi hai. Hum rooyenge kyu?

Priyalata: Tum donoke shakle dekhke to lagta hai ki...(he interrupted)

Abhigyan: (started searching his watch)Maa, aap bhi na... Hum rooyenge kyu.

Piyali: Actually aunty-ji, vo Abhi ghari dhund raha tha par use bachpan ke kuch photos milgaye, iss liye thora emotional hogaye... Aur mai ise keh rahi thi ki agar usske staff ko pata chalgaya ki jo unnke samne KHAROOS banta hai vo emotional bhi hai, roo bhi sakta hai, to volog agese kabhi isski baat nehi sunenge.(laughs)

Abhigyan: (found his watch)Milgaya!

Piyali: (sarcastically)Achcha hua jo tumhe milgaya. Nehito pata nehi aur kya kya yaadei miljati tumhe...

Priyalata: (not understanding)Kya?

Piyali: (again lying)Aunty, vo...vo photos!

Priyalata: Oo.

Abhigyan: Chale, Pia?

Piyali: Haan chalo.

He left but Priyalata stopped Piyali.

Piyali: Ji, aunty?

Priyalata: (serious)Kya hua hai, Piyali?

Piyali: (trying to hide)Nothing, aunty.

Priyalata: Abhigyan tha iss liye maine tumse nehi pucha. Ab mujhe batao ki tum donoke bich mei kya baatei ho rahi thi?

Piyali: (on her mind)Kaise batau aunty... Kaise batau ki Abhi ne abtak unn dard bhare yaado ko sambhalke rakkha hai...

Piyali: Aunty, batane wali koi baat nehi huyi.

Priyalata: Sach mei?

Piyali: Yes.

Priyalata: Thik hai. Aur ek baat, bijee bar bar Abhi ke shaadi ke bare mei bol rahi hai. Bijee chahti hai ki isi saal usski shaadi hojaye. Aur tum to janti hi ho usska jawab kya hota hai. Iss liye i want you to talk to him about this. Ye kaam karogi na?

Piyali: Surely, aunty! And i guarentee you ki isi saal within 8-9 months, bebbe jo chahti hai vo hoga. Shishodia khandaan ko ek nayi bahu milegi, iss ghar ko usski bari bahu and most importantly...Abhi ko ek perfect life partner!

Priyalata: I just hope tum jo bol rahi ho vo hojaye.

Piyali: Zarur hoga!

Priyalata: Thank you, beta.

Piyali: Iss mei thank you kyu? It was my duty as a friend.

Priyalata smiled.

Piyali: Aunty, Abhi must be waiting for me. I should leave now.

Priyalata: Okay, beta.

Piyali: Sat sree akaal.

Priyalata: Sat sree akaal...

Piyali left.

Priyalata: Piyali ne meri ek tension to durr kardi...

Priyanka invited her all friends to introduce Sumit to them. All were present except Piyali and Abhigyan. Sumit was on the way.

Priyanka: Abhitak Abhi aur Pia kyu nehi aye...

Abhigyan and Piyali reached.

Priyanka: Kaha the tum dono?

Piyali: Tra...traffic jam ke wajah se late h...hogaye.

Priyanka: Oww.

Ameesha: No problem because Sumit khud bhi nehi pohcha.

Shaurya: Priya, kaha hai tumhare dulhe-raaja.

Sumit: I am here!

Priyanka introduced everyone.

Male voice: (from behind)Sumit, tu mujhe introduce karvana to bhul hi gaya!

Priyanka: Vo kaun hai?

Sumit: Mera cousin.

Anamika: Sam!

[Sumit's cousin is no one else but Sameer Singhania! Raj Indravardhan Singhania's only child. Anamika, Piyali, Ameesha, Vinay, Payal's college-mate, Zaraa's school friend, whom Piyali can't tolerate.]

Sameer: Hey, Ana! Vinay, Amy, Zaraa tum sab!

Sumit: Tu inhe janta hai?

Sameer: (delighted to see his friends)Haan! They're my batch-mates!

All were happy to see Sameer back except Piyali, because Piyali and Sameer never got along. And he always keeps irritating Piyali since their first meet.

Anamika: (teasing, whispers to Piyali)Lo, wapas agaya tera 'best friend'!(laughs)

Vinay also heard this and he too laughed.

Piyali: (irritated)Shut up, Ana! And Vinay, stop laughing!

Sameer: And...(noticed Piyali)Hello, Piu!

[Only Sameer calls Piyali "Piu"]

Sameer: (trying to irritate her)Piu! Sorry, maine tumhe notice nehi kia.

Piyali didn't reply.

Sameer: Kamaal hai, Piu... Larkiya mere attention ke liye tarasti hai. Aur jab mai tumhe itna attention deta hu tum koi response hi nehi deti.

Piyali: Then who told you to give me your so-called ATTENTION? And jo larkiya tumhare ATTENTION ke liye tarasti hogi vo sab shayad andhe honge iss liye TUMHARE attention ke liye taraste hai!

Everyone laughed.

Sameer: Piu, why don't you admit that you like my ATTENTION?

Piyali: (irritated)You...(Zaraa interrupted)

Zaraa: Ab bas bhi karo tum dono! Bohot hogaya.

Abhigyan: I just don't understand why both of you are fighting without any reason!

Anamika: Abhi, innke bich mei kuch naa hi bolajay to hi achcha hai.

Ameesha: Ye dono na College se hi aise hai. Bina baat ke larte rehte hai!

Sameer smirked at Piyali and she ignored him and looked away.

Sumit: Now, stop fighting guys!

Shaurya: Aur mujhe bohot bhuk lagi hai! Let's eat, please.

All sat to eat dinner. Waiters served dinner. They had their dinner.

Abhigyan: Aaj...Nirjana nehi ayi?

Piyali: (joking)Kyu! Tumhe bohot yaad arahi hai Nirjana ki...

Vijay: (teasing)Abhi, kahi...tujhe Nirjana se...??

Abhigyan: What the... Mai to bas aise hi puch raha tha...

All laughed.

Moonmoon: Waise tu Dehradun kab ja rahi hai, Ana? Maine suna tu aur Abhi kuch din pehle hi jaa rahe ho?

Anamika: Mai kal shyam ko jaa rahi hu.

Moonmoon: Aur Abhi tum?

Abhigyan: Mai bhi kal shyam ko ja raha hu.

Vijay: Tum dono hotel mei rukoge na?

Zaraa: Hotel mei nehi rahenge to aur kaha rahenge.

Priyanka: Hotel mei rukne ki kya zarurat, jab ki waha mere uncle ka ghar hai. Tum dono mere uncle ke ghar mei rahoge. Actually, hum sab bhi wahi rahenge aur sare functions bhi wahi honge.

Anamika: Tumhare uncle ke ghar mei...

Priyanka: Don't worry. Uncle waha rehte nehi hai, iss liye vo ghar khali rehta hai. Kal mai tumhe chabi de dungi. Is it okay with both of you?

Anamika: O..okay.

Priyanka: Abhi?

Abhigyan: Hmmm.
