Nice update. It was nice reading the position of their relationship from both their POVs, specially we got an insight into Arnav's mind regarding everything going around.
Khushi, it seems, is trying all she can to understand Arnav & how to make things work. She has, no doubt, succeeded in understanding him to a level where she can gauge his reactions & act accordingly. Not because she was obliged to but coz she wanted to, not just for him but herself as well. Her decision of not calling over Rishab being one such instance. But there is only so much she can do without co-operation from Arnav, no knowledge of his past or his issues, or his feelings for her & hence the slowly creeping doubt in her mind.
Arnav has always been one to fight his battles himself, keeping his turmoils & feelings to himself. So suddenly sharing everything of his being with someone else is just too foreign to him. He needs to accept that first & then try to implement it, which at the moment seems a far cry. He isn't even sure about his feelings for her & he also has to change his views regarding marriage. Thats a lot for him or anyone. I am glad that he values Khushi enough to not let her go or hurt her ever. Khushi's earlier thoughts that he behaves as a husband with her only while holding her while asleep points Arnav right that she wouldn't understand the difference between physical relation & marriage as a whole.
Loved the difference & the impact, the small things that Khushi does for him is making on Arnav, like her bringing snacks for him from home.
Your take on Khushi's limp, how she wishes to be normal with Arnav, shows the growing hold he is having in her life, her dreams, her wishes, everything. Now its upto Arnav to make her let go of her insecurity, make her feel & believe that she is perfect for him the way she is, he has no regrets about it and neither should she. He surely took a step towards it by refusing to go on without her & taking her along.
And once again came up the doubt in Khushi's mind that she doesn't matter to him that way. And despite having all the best intentions, Arnav now needs to at least clear her doubts & assure her of their marriage, that he just needs time.
Looking forward to their Dubai trip. I am sure, as soon as La knows she will only just force Khushi to go with Arnav.
P.S. - So I didn't take part in the poll. *embarassed* Mainly coz I didn't think I would be reading a non- Arshi story on net. (I do read a lot of novels, book one.)
