Summary: What if Percy had been a lone wandered with Annabeth, Luke and Thalia? Would the fates change?
I watched stunted as she closed my room door and walked away. The words from this morning still rang in my ears, and as if that was not enough, the spiders started coming out. I yelled and howled and banged at the door, begging to be let out but she and Dad, they just walked past, telling me to stay quiet. I strained to hear the click of the lock opening but heard nothing except for their voices from the morning. She had said that I was a bad influence on Sammy and Quip and Dad had agreed, it was like they hated me and did not want me. They resented me and thought I was liar, and I knew for a fact that they wanted me dead. Big spiders, with crawling skin begin to make way towards me and I yelled. I frantically looked around for some way escape this hell and my eyes land on my bedroom window. Without hesitation I jump and find myself in the back garden. I look towards the lights of the house and I am tempted to go there but I know what she would say "Look, Annabeth's lying again and she even jumped out of the window, I am sure right on my flower beds." No. No matter what, I would not go back there; I wish all of them rot in the depths of hell. I would rather starve on the streets then put up with her and with that I turned my back on the house where I had stayed for seven years and walked away into the unknown without even a glance back.
A WEEK LATER :
The snake ladies were irritating; they kept on following me and showing their fangs. I was terrified but the only solution was to outrun them or hide. As I ran I bumped into some one running from the other side and I cried; now I was trapped. The person fell back and I got a good look at his face. I was sure he was a monster and I began to hit him, punch him as hard as possible but suddenly a wall of water slammed into my back and I was drenched and splattered on the ground.
"Would you please stop hitting me?" The monster crocked.
"No, you are a monster." I yelled as I slowly got on my feet, they were sore from running around and my pajamas were covered with dust, monsters had been attacking me all week and I had no idea where I was.
"No, I am not a monster, I have also been chased by them though." He said and I looked up at his face. Raven hair all messed up and sea green eyes full of wildness. I could easily imagine him as a monster but then something told me, he was not a monster.
"Not a monster?" I asked hesitantly, on my guard to punch him if necessary.
"No, but yeah, I fight them too." He crocked and then asked "Have you got some water?"
"No, but there is a stream nearby." I said as I helped him up and we both made our way to the stream.
"Who are you?" I asked after a while when we were resting under a tree, though above seemed like a better idea to me but one look at his leg and I knew there was no way he could climb.
"My name is Percy, Percy Jackson." He said
"Annabeth Chase." I replied still a bit short. "How are you here?"
"I ran away." I was shocked and could not help asking why.
"My step- father Smelly Gabe, kill-killed my mom." He cried and added "She told me to run away, I could not save her." And he began to cry even harder. After a while, he asked me my story and I told him how I had run away due to her and he sighed and said "Well what now?"
"I do not know but I think you should rest that leg of yours." I said gesturing to his leg which was almost seared.
"No, it is fine, just what I deserve." He said and he sounded so broken that I could not help but hug him. At first he seemed shocked but then he relaxed and even agreed to my suggestion to dip that leg in the stream.
What happens when Percy puts his leg in the stream?
CHAPTER 2
I helped him as we made our way to the stream but I could not help wondering how he managed to get such a huge wound. I could see right up to the bone in places. The walk to the stream was painful, half carrying and half dragging Percy and then lowering him down on the wet mud next to the stream.
"Hey, Percy how did you get that?" I asked, shuddering and turning away before I retched at the sight of the pus which came out when I tried to place herbal leaves on his leg.
" A bull guy came after me, mom had told me to go to this camp on a hill in Long Island and she had told me to stay near water, she told me to follow the changing paths of tiny streams and at first it was fine for a day but then the next day a beefy guy with a bull head came after me with his axe and sword and I barely escaped with my life but that sword cut through the leg and then after some time I found you and you nearly hammered my head with your hammer." He gives a weak laugh and I cannot help my astonishment at his bravery.
We try rolling him in the stream but since that did not seem easy for Percy I suggested that I take handfuls of water and clean his wounds. I have just scooped up the water when a lady's face appears out of the stream, making me scream and drop and the water.
"Calm down child, I will not harm you." She said but I have my hammer on the ready, to smash her into water if need be but I cannot do that as at that very moment Percy looks up with a startled "Mom" and before I can respond the lady begins.
"No, child I am not your mother, I am however the servant of your father, brave one I cannot say a lot but your father wants to congratulate you on your victory over the Hydra and he wants you to go to Camp Half- Blood and daughter of Athena you have a choice follow Percy to safety and remain safe or else drag him into troubles only a little while after you reach Camp because there are two people who need your help."
Saying so she disappeared and I stared at where she had been standing, and only Percy's grunt of pain brought me out of my shock. I scoped up the water and my mind began to reel- this boy here, this boy with implacable sea green eyes and raven black hair, had defeated the Minotaur, the most dangerous monster out there. He must have a strong scent. I tended to his minor wounds but as soon as water touched him, his wounds began to heal up on their own. Suddenly it clicked in place- the river spirit, the water- he must be the son of Poseidon. My mother's biggest rival's son. I should hate him, hurt him but that is what I should do. Who says I have to do it? I gathered up a lot of water, as much as my tiny hands could hold and drop it own his leg and the effect is so surreal. The wound closed on itself and he sighed in relief, standing up gingerly and I stayed close behind him in case he falls but he does not. I could not comprehend how hard it must be for him, losing his mother to his step- father and then fighting the Minotaur. I have no idea what it is to have a loving parent let alone losing one. I watched as he stumbled into the stream and takes powerful strokes, gaining strength with every passing second. With all the dirt and grime off his face, I see that he actually is kind of cute, in a nice way.
"Hey Annabeth," he called out to me in a sing song voice and I walked up to him and he pulled me with him in the stream. I scream as the water touched me, I am deadly afraid of drowning after what she did the last time.
"Percy... I am drowning..." I managed before the water pulled me under but suddenly strong arms howled me upwards to his chest. My nose hurts but when he touched me, it's like all my wounds begin healing and then I look up- they are. The wound on my little toe is gone and my mess of a hair looks normal again. I shivered due to the cold water and get out.
When we step out we dry automatically. It was quit insane actually I was looking all over myself trying to find a spot where there is a scar or a little wetness from the water but I find nothing.
"So Percy, what do you think we should do?" I asked referring to what the water lady told us but he studiously ignored me, signaling that the choice is mine and that he would stand by me no matter what I choose.
"Why? I Annabeth I thought you were the wise one. We should tuck you in for the night obviously," he joked and picking me up bridal style carries me to a tree, setting me on the second or third branch.
"Percy," I called out, "where will you sleep?"
"Annabeth, go to sleep I will keep guard, the water makes me strong," he declared.
"But Percy, you cannot stay up the whole night. Let me stay up or something," I wined but he ignored me by saying "Goodnight Wise Girl."
"Wise Girl?" I asked surprised.
"Yes, you are a daughter of Athena, you figured I am the son of Poseidon and your head is full of wisdom, so I will call you Wise Girl or do you prefer o wise one?"
I jumped down and swatted his arm replying "If my head is full of wisdom then yours is full of seaweed, Seaweed Brain," and I hoped back on my branch before the water could drench me.
"Sleep Wise Girl, I am here," were the last words I heard before the darkness pulled me under.

Guys I have some Percy Jackson Fan-fic ideas- tell me if I should put them on-
1. Annabeth is a mentally disturbed girl, who is abused by her step mother and sisters. Finally her step mother finally tells her dad to send Annabeth to a mental hospital and there she meets Percy, the son of the hospital's owner.
2. Annabeth's mother left her when she was young and her step mother and sisters taunt her. However Annabeth gets all her feelings out with the help of writing but her step mom takes a step too far and her life gets worse. In the hospital she meets her mother's friend Hestia who is also their new neighbor. They grow close and then the annual story writing competition takes place. This is held by Percy's dad who owns the biggest publishing company in the world. Anna knows she is good but her step mom will not let her submit a story and instead her daughters steal two of Anna's stories and send them. Bad for them Hestia helps Anna send in her best work. What happens when the pen name is declared the winner and Percy declared to be Anna's agent?
3. The Olympians are tired and let their heirs take over.
4. The nine muses have to line like mortals. Baseball and truth and dare between gods.
