CHAPTER 1
Khushi pushed herself out of Shyam's engulfing embrace, feeling suffocated...and highly repulsed!
"How can you say something like that Shyamji? Anjali ji adores you! You are god to her! You can never find such a dutiful wife anywhere!"
"Arre...!! To hell with Rani Saibha . I told you before and I am telling you again Khushiji...It s you that I love! Only you!"
A certain someone clenched his fists at this little piece of information.
"Stop it! Just stop it!Enough of your filth! If you have no feelings for Anjaliji, then why are you still with her? Aap yeh shaadi thod kyun nahi dete?
chod dijiye Anjaliji ko!"
Arnav's eyes widened in surprise! What was she saying?
Shyam grabbed hold of Khushi's shoulders, his face showing the excitement he felt!
"What did you say Khushiji? I will leave her...for you...to be with you!"
"No Mr Shyam Jha! Wether you leave her or not...I will never be yours. I will never love you! Samjhe aap?"
Shyam's features twisted into an ugly snarl. His grip tightened painfully!"Kyun Khushiji? Why won't you love me?", he asked in a low growl, sending ripples of fear down Khushi's spine.But she fought it."Because...because... I love someone else!"
Both men, one in Khushi's vicinity and one hidden near the terrace door, were dumbfounded...left speechless!Its Shyam who found his voice first.
"What? What are you saying Khushiji... You are lying ! Tell me you are lying!", he growled, gripping her harder and digging hi nails into her flesh!
"Aah!", said Khushi reflexively, much to Shyam's satisfaction and Arnav's chagrin !
"You are mine Khushiji! Only mine!!! Understand??"
Khushi extracted her arms out of his hold with difficulty and pushed him back yelling
!"Nahi! I am only his...mind , body and soul! He has marked me as his and no one...I mean no one can separate us! Not you...not anyone!"
