Long update again, replied to all the messages i had not yet on this thread, do take a look.

Chapter 66 - we're not yet done

"Arnav your documents are ready" I said on the phone after preparing the new venture's contract. I had sat in a meeting for 2 hours this morning discussing the details of this deal. Arnav had handled everything so well there was dominance in his talk yet he still showed respect to the elderly man. He had also brought up the new proposal a few times and the effect it would have on his company. Having had Shyam as his employee gave Arnav an advantage to belittle his capabilities he had set everything in place to insure Mr Kapoor wouldn't think about giving Shyam or his daughter chance to run his business. He had even volunteered to take Mr Kapoors son under his wing when he was old enough to train him up on the running of the company. Mr Kapoor was quite delighted with the extra help Arnav offered and didn't hesitate to take up the opportunity.

According to the contract now him my hand Arnav employees and Mr Kapoors would be working side by side with each other however the final say would always be Arnav's as Raizarda Industry was investing more into this venture. When required Arnav had the authority to take control of the organizations this was exactly what he wanted total control.

"I'm coming to get it" he said back to me into the phone.

"Arnav you're the boss, you don't need to come here, I'll come to you."

"Madam You're my boss" I could tell he was smiling. "I'm coming to you" I heard him say then cut the call.

"Your coffee" Shyam walked in with a cup on a tray.

"Out!" I said not looking up from my file.

"Excuse me?" he looked down at me confused

I looked at him with a straight face "do I always have to repeat everything to you? I said out, now!"

"But..."

"Out"

"But your coffee" I put my elbow on the table and rested m head on it.

"I think it's a bit obvious that I don't want it anymore" I could see anger raising on his face "doors behind you" he quickly stormed out and slammed the door behind him. His feet suddenly froze once my door had shut, standing in front of him was his own father- in - law dressed in a formal expensive brown suit next to Arnav a total contrast to his clerk uniform. He scurried off before he would have to explain himself.

I heard a gentle knock and knew who it was. "Come in" I said the door was opened wide open by Arnav who Gave way for Mr Kapoor to enter. The man's smile always surprised me he was so kind hearted compared to his daughter.

"The papers are ready gentlemen" I placed the file before them on the table. They took towered over the table each reading their individual copies. "Great good" he said then signed the document after him Arnav followed suit. "I'm amazed at the speed your office works at." He swapped his file with Arnav "I look forward to be working with your team" he said signing the last document.

"As do we Mr Kapoor" Arnav shook his hand.

He turned towards me "and my dear your skills are commendable" he smiled at me "your handling the hardest man in this industry. It's shocking that he calls someone his boss" I laughed with him, my eyes couldn't help but glance up at The proud Raizarda who stood behind the sweet man. I saw him silently thank me with his eyes. Thank me for just being a part of his life something I should be thanking him for. "I'll take me leave now" Mr Kapoor turned to leave thought the door.

"Ready to go?" He asked me

"Where? Home or HOME? " I asked with a smirk

"How about ghome?"

"What! G-HOME?" I raised an eyebrow in confusion. "That makes no sense at all"

"Okay let me rephrase it, our run away home"

"Run away?" My nose squint in confusion, my eyes then widened, I didn't realize when a smile appeared on my face knowing where we would be going. "You're joking right?" I asked him still not believing where we would be going.

He didn't reply instead he smirked and walked out the door. "Arnav" I shouted from behind him only to hear him say

"Were getting late" I smiled walking back into my office, the man was full of surprises sometimes. I couldn't believe he had once again only thought of my wishes, thought of what I would have wanted. My Arnav truly was one of a kind.

I quickly packed my things and instructed my secretary to what needed to be done. I left the office to go meet my fianc who was probable impatiently waiting for me downstairs.

When I got downstairs I was surprised to not see him. The receptionist told me he was in the medic's room. I walked over the room and saw Arnav talking to Shyam whose nose seemed to be bleeding again. "Next time you'll probable think twice before messing with my family." He said then tapped his nose "I would get that nose checked if I was you." He smirked "don't want to be something serious" Arnav turned around and saw me standing by the door, he gave me a small smile then entangled our hands together pulling me towards the exit. "Love you" he whispered in my ear as we exited the building.

The car was waiting outside for us when we got theirs Arnav didn't argue with me he quickly took the keys before I could even try, I got nudged towards the passenger seat.

"We're in, now tell me what just happened?" I said when Arnav drove off.

"I got a little mad and punched him" my head spun towards him.

"You what!" I looked at him with wide eyes "stop the car and tell me what happened" he did what I told him to, he parked up on my side.

"He was on his way down the stairs and heard him speaking on the phone." Arnav grip tightened on the steering wheel

"To?"

"Probable Sheetal"

"About?"

"The changes Mr Kapoor made to the family."

"And"

"They weren't happy, I heard them planning against us once again" he turned to look at me "Khushi I'll be foolish if I let them mess with us again."

"They can't mess with us"

"There still thinking"

"You can't stop someone's mind set"

"I can try"

"Arnav"

"Why are you even bothering explaining this to me you know my MIND SET won't change on this topic."

"So instead you choose to punch him? Again!"

"No I choose to insure he knows I won't spear him if he tries to mess with me and my family" he said with utmost confidence as if knowing what he did was right.

"LG just because I didn't say anything to you the first time doesn't mean you can go around punching him whenever you want." I tried to be the responsible one and reason with him.

"I'm not going to argue with you" he said starting the car again.

"We're not arguing, were discussing, you can't go up to him and punch him whenever you please"

"I can and I probable will"

"Seriously you're acting like a teenager."

"If someone messes with my family I may need to act like a teenager.

"Why am I even bothering with you?"

"I don't know ask yourself" he smirked

"Arnav" I whined

"Khushi what do you want from me?"

"For you to learn to control your temper."

"You've known me for years you know that will never happen" he said

"Arnav try to be civil at least, we did what we needed to now we only have to keep everything the way it is."

"Fine but if they try to..." I cut him off

"They won't our plans are full proof." I said trying to calm down the angry man "I just asked you to lower your temper, you're setting a bad example for..."

"I don't need to set an example she's already as high tempered as me" he said in anger man

"Yes because anger is part of my LG's DNA" I said under my breath turning to look out the window. "God save my kids this Raizarda blood is very hot" I said not realizing Arnav had heard. He smirked and spoke in a teasing tone

"You knew what you were getting into when you chose me. Now you're going to be stuck with hot headed babies"

"Maybe I should escape while I have the time." I looked at him with an angry expression.

"I'm afraid it's too late" he started the car and drove towards the house.

"No it's not wedding papers are not signed yet."

"Who said I need them to prove your mine, I already have what I need"

"Really and what's that?" I raised an eyebrow and looked at his smug face.

"Your heart" he stated with confidence not even needing to look at me he knew he had just ended the conversation and it was a win for him. I smiled and rapped an arm around his the rested my head on his shoulder. He was right he already had what matters and even if he wished I would never leave this family, my family.

"Khushi!" I heard a shouted once I stepped out. Anjali was coming running towards us in her summer blue dress. "Khushi"

"Bhabs" Arnav shouted tying to correct her. Anjali's footsteps stopped she looked at her brother confused.

"What" I shouted with wide eyes looking back at him.

"What she hates calling you what she meant to 'bhabhi', so thought she may want to address you with a more cool name." I shook my head at him

"She'll call me what she wants" I said then turned to Anjali. "What's wrong?"

"Need your help" she looked at me with a serious face.

"In what?" Arnav asked

"Packing!" Anjali answered as if it was the most obvious thing.

"You shouted for that?"

"Yes" he shook his head at her reply.

"Unbelievable that was so unnecessary" he moaned at while walking into the house behind me.

"Unnecessary?" She looked at him with an angry expression "This is important Bhai you won't understand"

"Raizada blood" I whispered in his ear mocking him.

He gave me a glare as I walked up the stairs. He probable thought my back would have been burning but I knew my LG his eyes would have been shining with amusement.

Next two hours had flown by for me the lazy sibling refused to do their own packing. One wanted to take everything assuming they required it all and one didn't want to take anything overconfident that he had everything he needed at our London house. I would have killed the two if they had not showered their love one my every now and then with a kiss or hug. My packing was left to be done last after I had finished doing it for them.

"I thought I was the bride" I said out loud while closing my suitcase.

"Who said you're not?" He wrapped his arms around me.

"With the amount of work I have to do no one will think I'm the bride."

"What work?" I turned around and glared at him.

"I just did all your packing and you're asking me what work?"

He smirked "well I told you I didn't need to take anything it's you who insisted, I should pack"

"Well I'm not having a naked husband walking around" I quickly turned around hoping he didn't notice my spear of the moment blooper and he would comment. But I was wrong Arnav could never resist teasing me.

"Are you sure?" he whispered

"Yes! All eyes are already on you most of the time." I fiddled with the clothes on the bed.

"Ohh so you don't want others to see me naked"

"Shut up Arnav" I knew where this conversation was going and I would have preferred to stay away from the topic. I abruptly turned around in anger resulting in us both kissing balance and falling back on the bed.

"Arnav" I whined

"What? This is not my fault, it's yours"

"Bhai!" Anjali walked in her eyes widened in shock seeing us on bed. She made a disgusted face and quickly turned around so she wouldn't have to see anything. "Why don't you to eat a room?"

"We did, Khushi's, it's you who walked in on us."

"Well u didn't lock the door" I pushed Arnav off me and got up.

"You're the shameless one why are you still standing there" he sat on the bed teasing his sister.

"Fine I'll leave"

"Arnav shut up, Kido you can turn he's joking with you" she turned and saw Arnav sitting on the edge of the bed with a smug look and me near my wardrobe rummaging through it to insuring I didn't forget anything.

"Bhai your unfair"

"I didn't do anything you..." I didn't let him finish his sentence I cut in

"Stop it you two, Kido your packing's done go down and eat before we leave. And Arnav take the suitcases down"

"And what will you do while I do the work?" He asked with a serious face.

"Change! Now get out" I tried to pull him off the bed but he wouldn't move.

"I'll help" Anjali came running and pulled other by his free hand.

"You girls are useless" he pulled the two of us down we landed on his sides flat on the bed.

"Arnav"

"Bhai" we both shouted "that hurt" Anjali whined

"Arnav I'm going to kill you" I said lying on me stomach as he laughed at us.

"I'll help"

"You two say that line every other day you can't live a day without me" he smirked. Anjali and I looked at each other I indicated to Arnav through my eyes.

She lipped '1, 2, 3' we grabbed the Arnav's shirt collar and pulled him down with us. The next second we were smacking him over his chest.

"Aaarrr girls... Stop it... Kiddo... Khushi...arr" he was finding it hard to speak between the pain and chuckles.

"See we can kill you if we want" Anjali said

"Kiddo... please stop" he pleaded

"Khushi... You're the mature one... Stop"

"No way" Arnav looked at the two of us while his head moved around in the attempt to stop us. Our faces were adored with big smiles, our noses wrinkled concentrating on the task ahead and mischief projecting through our eyes. He could have sat there all day if meant he would always see these smiles on our faces. However he couldn't do that he had to take control.

I looked at Arnav's face and saw a glint in his eyes. He was having fun I could see that on his face it seems so relax while being tortured. I wanted to smile at him tell him that I was also feeling the same way. We were happy with our lives with our family. But the glint in his told me he was about to take over the situation.

And he did the next moment I felt I grip on my arm pulling me down on his chest then an arm wrap around me. "Arnav" I whined but he held me in place. Now Anjali was left alone fighting Arnav with my body half shielding him.

"Bhai" Anjali was forced to stop so she wouldn't hurt me. "You can't split me from my partner." She made a grumpy face

"Excuse me she my partner, see the ring" he lifted my hand showing the ring holding me close.

"Bhai that's not fair"

"Not again" I stopped their bickering "Arnav let go" he loosened his grip on me so I could get up.

"I'm not picking partners, but" I jumper over Arnav and sat next to Anjali. "As I'll be your legal partner I'll be Kidos partner in everything else" Anjali smiled and stuck her tongue out at Arnav "shame Bhai". Arnav just smiled getting off the bed. He didn't mind and I knew why. His girl was happy and I would always truthfully be his.

"Kiddo go eat, I'll join you in a sec"

"You're only telling me to leave because Khushi's on my side."

"Yeah whatever" he said walking out of the room.

"Kido please go eat we're getting late, I need to change" I said walking to the wardrobe. I was still in my work wear and we had to leave soon.

"Okay in going I'm going" she ran out and down the stairs.

I quickly change into casual blue jeans white top and blazer.

Arnav was already heating food for Anjali he didn't want her to eat too little or too much. "Bhai are you upset?" Anjali teased her brother

"Not now, eat" he put a plate in front of her.

"Fine" she had just begins to take a bite of her food when she heard someone rig the bell. "Who's that?" She asked turning back only to see NK walk through the door. "What's he doing here?" She asked Arnav with and angry expression.

"I called him here" he said getting up "finish your food I'll be back"

"Bhai where you going?"

"Upstairs" he answered

"Hey dude, mum sent these" he said holding up some bags.

"Yeah I know she had called"

Arnav said taking the bags that only he knew contained nothing important. He had just wanted his mami to send NK over.

"So are these for the wedding?" Arnav began to walk up the steps with NK following. "So I can't attended Dude but I have a" he nudges Arnav with his elbow "Honeymoon to attend."

'Will see about that' Arnav though in his head before

I heard a knock on my door

"Come in" I said and saw Arnav walking in 'nothing unexpected there' then I saw NK walk in behind Arnav.

"Take these bags down into and put them in the bag." Arnav said pointed to our suitcases.

"Sure dude" Arnav said NK never looked up at me, he didn't even react after Arnav ordered him. It was as if his guilt towards me prevented him from making any movement in front of me. That's what Arnav and I really wanted for then to feel guilty for what they did. For them to repent the day they separated us seeing it now a little part in me was ready to forgive.

"Arnav" I said once NK was out the room. He looked at me and he just knew what I would say his Khushi may have had a soft heart but he most certainly wouldn't leave them without punishing them a little.

"I'm waiting for you downstairs" he said walking out the room avoiding the conversation.

I knew that second my Arnav had already put his plan into action. There was no possible way I could do anything now he wouldn't let me that I knew.

I got down and saw Anjali was done and so was Arnav.

"Khushi are you not hungry?" Anjali asked me

"Bhabhi" Arnav shouted from the front door.

"No, I'll eat later" I said before they began arguing again. "You're not forgetting anything are you?"

"No" she shook her head.

I heard a weird noise and looked up to see NK struggling alone with two suit case One was Anjali's the others was Arnav's. I looked to the side wanting to ask Arnav to help but saw him standing their watching NK as if it was a TV show. "Arnav" he quickly looked away and stated shouting another way to not listen to me. First he avoided eye contact now my voice. I turned back to look at NK again Arnav had tuned him in to a 'bell boy' one now a clerk the other temporary bell boy.

"Let go" I escorted Anjali towards the door.

"You girls take a seat I'll be right there." He was ignoring me so I ignored him by grunting while walking pass him.

Arnav made NK put away the luggage himself and sat in the car himself. "Get in" he slide down his window and told NK.

"No dude I need to get to the airport."

"That's where we're heading will give you a lift"

"Umm my bike" he looked back at it probable unsure if he should join us.

"I'll get someone to drop it home for you" Arnav said "get in I'm sure your wife's already taken your luggage with her."

He smiled at Arnav and got in the front seat of the car.

"Ready to go home kiddo?" He asked her Arnav asked Anjali.

"Yep can't wait to see Sana and Charlene" she cheered. Arnav made a face and looked out the window I wanted to laugh at him. He had teased me now I would tease him.

"You've missed Charlene haven't you Kido?" She smiled turning to look at me.

"A lot, I didn't even get to tell him in coming home. This will be a BIG surprise for him."

"He missed you a lot" he said seeing Arnav's nose flaring.

"Really? How do you know" she had a dreamy expression on her face.

"Yeah, now you two will be together, you won't need to spend hours on the phone and laptop. You can be with him all day.

"Ohh yeah I totally forgot about that"

"Kiddo you got a wedding to prepare for you won't have time for him" I pressed my lips together to suppress my laugh. I saw Anjali's smile drop

"Kido don't worry I won't take up to much time. That way you can spend as much time as possible with him."

"We're not staying in London for long. So you need to use your time wisely."

"Kido don't worry you don't need to do anything you can just sit back and have fun."

"Khushi!"

"Yes Arnav" I looked up at him with a smirk. There was a peck of anger in his eyes.

"I love you" he mouthed I looked at him a little shocked. The next second I felt him enfold us in a large beat hug.

"Arnav" I shouted

"Bhai you're messing up my hair" she screamed being squished in between the two of us.

"Though you needed some extra loving" he joked letting us shout

"Kido poke" she did as I told and began poking Arnav in his stomach. His grip loosened and we were freed.

"What was that for?"

"Just wanted to give my girls some love" he laughed as we changed the topic.

"Bhai why did you say we're not going to be in London for long?" Arnav glanced at NK

"Tell you later, Khushi you need to find a wedding dress fast you don't have much time" he said not wanting NK to find out.

"I also need to find Kido's dress." I looked up when I heard someone hit the dashboard.

NK looked frustrated

"What's wrong?" Arnav asked NK

"I need to get to the airport and..." He looked towards the blocked road.

"Don't worry" Arnav looked at his watch "we have time to get to the airport."

"But my flight..."

"You won't miss it, just let you wife know were on the way and you'll meet her in the plane."

Arnav kept a serious face while assuring him then resumed his conversation with Anjali.

I looked at Arnav then the traffic ahead I knew my LG and this definitely was something to do with him. The calm expression on his face could fool the world but not me.

We were stuck in traffic for the next hour an hour that went fast for my family as we discussing the wedding. And an hour that could not have gone any slower for NK I was surprised he had not pulled out his hair yet.

He looked at his watch then pulled opened his door before the car had stopped outside the airport. "NK wait" Arnav said the tickets in NK's hands slipped when he suddenly stopped. Arnav quickly caught it before it fell on the floor. "Careful, you still have time to catch your flight." NK quickly ran through the entrance. He disappeared in seconds. Arnav and I escorted Anjali inside and checked in, there was a long fight a head of us but a lot of hopes and dreams wait for us on the other side. When we go on the plane I sat with Arnav and Anjali sat by herself insisting she wanted two seats to lay down. Arnav's phone rang he glanced at the name on the screen then turned it off. He knew his job was done. I had seen Amans name flash on the screen which only meant this was to do with his plan. I couldn't read his mind but knew I would find out soon.

Arnav shut his eyes knowing the ones who separated him from his love were now being punished. Shyam was getting what he deserved, so was Sheetal and now NK too would be given a short punishment. Currently on a plane to an unknown destination one remote part of the world he would be miles apart from his new wife for weeks. He may not been a large part of the disgusting game but he was a part of it. Now he too would be suffering he too needed to learn a lesson. He may suffer less but he would still suffer. He would learn what it feels like to be away from the one your love. 'Happy honeymoon' Arnav thought

Arnav stepped into the house after a long day he just wanted to get some sleep. Never had his shopping sessions been so long. He never thought he would wear this colour suit but he like it once he wore it. Akash and Aman had tried to tease him while buying the suit after all who wouldn't want to take advantage of situation like that. Old friends reliving old days while celebrating their friends good and bad to come. This had to be one of the weirdest shopping trips he had experienced.

He couldn't help but remember His shopped trip with me one of the hardest experience of his life he chuckle remembering how naive he was. He had always thought he knew his sister but he was wrong the dress his Khushi that day his sister had loved. I've still wondered why it had taken his girls so long shopping today. 100 dresses and his girls liked nothing. He would never really understand his girls. Like every other man out there he couldn't help but try.

He had already had his lunch remembering his old college days with the guys who he had shared it with. They were his partners in crime on many occasions. He wouldn't forget those days but he would always keep the teenage boy inside him alive. He knew there was times when he let that child out. When he was with his girls and wanted to have some fun. He still had opportunities to be a kid with his kid sister. Who he had just spotted lying on the couch with a blanket covering her fasts sleep. He smiled at his little sister the girl was so lazy sometimes. He saw his Khushi, the crazy mother like figure had made Anjali comfortable. So she wouldn't have any trouble sleeping. He guessed she knew he would put her to bed. He picked her sleeping form in his arms and carried her to her room. He put the duvet over her then closed the door. He checked his bedroom and found his girl not in there just like he had predicted it to be. Once her freshened up and changed he glanced in my bed room.

He could only see my back but knew I want asleep, my posture was to stiff. He knew his girl was probable in some sort of unnecessary deep thought. She had no idea her to be husband had already planned everything for their wedding. He couldn't help but stop his mind from wondering to another time similar to this. When he had felt an uneasy feeling lying in his bed. He had got up the night to check on his Khushi. He was very well aware of what that feeling was. He only got it when his girl needed him. He was right when glanced through the door he had seen my stiff body. That was the first night he let his girl sleep in a room that was once her sisters. He got into the bed that night knowing his girl would protest but her didn't care he knew where he was needed, by her side as her silent support.

Just like that night he slid into the bed and wrapped his arms around me. "Not sleepy?" He whispered in my ear.

"You take Kido to her room" he smiled at a time when most brides are worried about their dark circles his was worried about his sister.

"Yes, she's fat asleep in her bed"

"Thanks" I said in a slow whisper. He could feel something running in her mind it wasn't big that was for sure if it had been he would have had an unease in his heart which he didn't.

"What are you thinking about?" He asked me

"Nothing important"

"But it's still running in that little mind of mine, what wrong" He teased me trying to lighten my mood. I rotated my head a little to see his face. "My dress"

"What's wrong with it? I thought you found it" he made sure everything was fine before I had picked a dress. If he needed to he would have the company and made then work day and night till they made my perfect outfit. He didn't care if he had to pay 10 times the price he would make this day perfect after all it was his wedding day he wanted all I. Our eyes to be fur filled that day. We didn't have families like others did, we only had each other so the little things mattered more than in most cases.

"Nothing about that dress just the dress" I said he looked at me confused so I continued "After buying kidos dress I realised mine was to plain"

"Then buy a new one what's the problem?"

"Time we don't have time" he cared my face

"We do you have all of tomorrow find your dream dress we'll just get a later flight" he said

"Are you sure." he just nodded "but what about all the other arrangements? I still have so much to do"

"Don't worry about that" he said to me

"You just need to concentrate on your dress"

"Then who will do the rest?" I said with a serious face

"For now my bride needs to worry about her Beauty sleep. Can you please go to sleep? And also let me sleep"

"Arnav"

"Shut up Khushi" he turned me so my back would face him.

"LG"

"Khushi shut up" he said again I knew he wouldn't answer he didn't the last time either. It was the same place same words he shut me up then and went to sleep just like he would now.

-

Arnav waited to hear my stead breath. He knew he hadn't slept that night he snuck into my room he had been too worried all night. Scared I may just wake up but today he had work to do. He picked up his phone and sent a few messages to Aman instructing him on what he must do. The night was sleepless for both men who were working on getting everything perfect for the next few days.

I was woken up in the morning by a loud snore it was my lovely fianc. I pushed myself up by one elbow and looked at his tired face. I had seen him like this many times I buckled remembering how he had fallen of the bed many times tripped himself most of the time. It would have been nice to play a little prank on him again today. I crept out messed a little with his blanket knowing what would happen when he woke up. I took my clothes and ran to the bathroom to get dressed.

Arnav woke up by the ring of his alarm clock his body was exhausted he would have put it on snooze but his mind told him there was something he was forgetting. His eyes suddenly popped open he tried to rush out of bed knowing he had so much to do.

*bang* he was lying flat on the floor once again with the blanket wrapped around his legs. "Khushi!" He shouted

My hands stopped stirring when I heard the loud bang followed by my name. I busted into a fit of laughter seemed like my Raizarda had to get used to a life time on the floor. This was probable how he would now be wakening every morning.

Anjali was also woken by the loud noise. She may have been tired but she knew that sound she recognised it in seconds and made nothing of it. Her Bhai should be used to falling on the floor by now she thought.

Arnav got dressed and came down to meet me. "That was not funny" he said as I set the table.

"What wasn't" I didn't look at him

"You know" he gave me an angry glare which I saw with the side of my eyes. I ignored the conversation and chose to divert his mind.

"I'll get you breakfast" I said walking into the kitchen.

"Bhai how's you morning going?" She asked coming into the room.

"You plan this with her?" He asked his naughty sister who had never failed to team up with his fiancee when wanting to gang up on him.

"No never" she said with a cheeky smile

He was suddenly interrupted by his phone's beep. He read Aman's message and then quickly wrote a note on paper before handing it to Anjali and headed towards the door. "Kiddo I have to go give this to Khushi." He was gone in seconds before I had come out of the room.

"Kido you awake great your breakfast is ready" I put a tray on the table. "Where's your brother gone?" I asked

"I don't know he ran off" she sat into her seat "he left you a note" she said pointing to it and digging into her food.

It wasn't like him to so something like that. He hadn't even eaten he always ate. We had always eaten together for so long felt weird not to right now I had become accustomed to it. Especially when he was here a few seconds ago. I looked at Anjali who had already begun I didn't know why had wanted to eat with him after all I had dinner all alone yesterday. Maybe it was because it had become a habit, a good one we would always eat together as a family like it was meant to be. Like everyone other normal family this had become my

"Khushi note" Anjali said bringing my attention back again. I read the small note and smiled.

Taxi Will Be Here In Ten Mins Hurry You Have A Dress To Find. Take All The Time You Need Our Flights Late This Evening I'll Wait For You At The Airport

The next few hours could not have been so hard if I had thought finding Anjali's dress was hard this was no better seemed like it would be another day. I couldn't find a dress that I liked. I tired many stores many dresses but it was always too much or too little. There was many good beach dresses but I knew I wanted to be comfortable as well as look good. Arnav had tried checking up on me many times during the day. A part of me wanted him here for some reason I thought he would now better what suits me. Unfortunately this wasn't possible he was not allowed to see me. He had already done so much for me by booking an appointment for me in many boutiques and cancelled my old wedding dress order.

I had stepped into the last store for today with no hope. It seems my dream dress was nowhere to be found. I described what I wanted and the sale assistant showed me the rail with dresses I may like. Anjali and Priya and I began the routine we had now become experts at. Priya on the left me on right and Anjali in the middle. My hands stopped on a dress, I didn't know why but I couldn't get my eyes of it. It wasn't unique but I loved it. "Would you like to try it?" The sale assistant asked I nodded in reply.

I could feel an unknown excitement building up inside me. My heart had slowed down just like my breath. I could see my hands shivering. Every second that it took for the zip to go up my nervousness increased. I was afraid that it may not look as great on me as it did on the hanger. When the dress was on it finally felt right. My fingers ran through the soft material. It fit perfectly no alterations were needed. One made just for me! I could feel tears forming in my eyes. I had found what I had been looking for. "My Dress"

After my dress we had got the bridesmaids then headed straight to the airport. I had already informed Arnav the good news. When we stepped out of the taxi his smile was priceless. I saw the man I loved waiting for his girls like he always did. He waited 5 years for me patiently with no demands I knew he could wait a lifetime for me. I had found my mate in a friend a companion in someone who had always invisible been by my side.

"Let's go girls" he said ushering us into his private plane. He wouldn't be going in the budget airline again. That we both knew once was enough for Him. I sat in the plane and closed my eyes. We were heading to another home of ours a place where we enjoyed, played and forgot the world. It was our secret haven. A place where the fresh air and cold breezes would revive my mind and enlighten my heart. More than the wind I loved the cool water something that had silently brought me and Arnav back together in an Island not too far away. The water had played magic by showing its love on us. Arnav had romanced with me in many ways in that water on the beaches.

"I love you" Arnav had said unexpectedly probable knowing what I was thinking.

After a few hours when our plane had landed I had got to see the island in its full glory. Gibraltar a home I had made away from home with a family away from my family. Arnav kissed my hand over our entangled fingers. He was holding Anjali back because she was Insistent on putting her head out the window to feel the cool breeze. "Kido" I shouted she never not listen to me this time was no different.

Once we had settled back into the house I insured Anjali was asleep then quietly left the apartment.

My eyes stuck on the ocean waves this place was so relaxing the perfect place to let your mind think. My life would be changing soon like any other bride I should have been dreaming how my future would be but I was a different bride I was living my dream living the life before marriage. I already had my family. My world there was no space for anyone else now. I smiled thinking of the two they look different to each-other with their diverse personalities however over the years I have learnt how the two are more alike than they seem. The name Raizarda wasn't the only thing they had in common. I just hoped this name wouldn't change me.

"Our angel's growing up" I said sitting on the sand staring at the ocean water.

I had snuck out again like every night on this island. And just like every night I knew Arnav had followed me. He quietly sat next to me and stared at the water like me.

"She's becoming like you"

"She a Raizarda the name itself holds stubbornness. Something i lack"

"You about to gain that title you may also gain the stubbornness" we both chucked. "You'll lead her in the right direction that I'm sure of" he said putting his arm around my shoulder pulling me close. "After all you have also taught me a lot. This stubborn Raizarda"

The last year had taught us both a lot about life. We were a family who had become alone yet not alone. There was a time when we had hardly any responsibility now we were responsible for not only ourselves and our partner but also a little girl.

Someone we both cherish who we would both always put first before ourselves. She held us together our love was binded by her presence.

He looked at my exhausted face we had come a long way from where we were. A friendship that had grown to love turned into hatred due to a misunderstanding. It had resulted in two love ones separate from each other.

But life had something else planned for us an unpredictable circumstance had changed it all. Our paths were set to meet once again. Your past was all set to be brought back. It may have began with conflict but how long would that have lasted? Love was in their hearts hidden behind a wall of pain once that wall had been broken with tears and warmth. A little healing can change the unpredictable circumstance to be ones benefit.

They loved each other, stood by each other, and where there for one another in the most difficult phase of their lives. The hardship they had faced only made them stronger. They can now live knowing they will always be there for each other even if the other is not physically presence.

precap: my Arnav is not in a dark suit, my khushi and Anjali's dresses are a surprise 😆ready for the beach wedding (cant help it like to be different)

Its not a bye just yet i still have three part to come, next update will be after a month but will be there

"What?" I said with an angry expression

"See" he pointed at me and laughed

"Bhai that's the expression she always gives us." Anjali held her stomach laughing

"Like a mother scolding her kids." He rolled around on the sand laughing.

"I hate you two" I said getting up faced the other direction acting like I was mad at them but I was watching them. They no longer cared about the sand messing up their clothes they were just enjoying the moment. My heart felt content seeing their adorable faces. Their laugher filled my heart it was what I lived for what I loved and I now had a lifetime of hearing it.

"Okay Kiddo stop or we may have to sleep on the floor today" Arnav said in an amused tone.

"Then we'll be looking down again and she'll watch us with that expression." He pressed his lips together after Anjali's words.

"Are you two done?" I asked

"Wait a few more" Arnav said "she may even start grounding us or make us eat vegetables" they both laughed again

"Bhai she may take away your car and my phone."

"Can you imagine being stuck at home with no internet for a week what a punishment?"

"That's it I'm going to kill you two" I said putting my hands around Arnav's neck.

"Khushi you going to kill your husband on the first day of you marriage at least wait till the wedding night" I tightened my grip around his neck and Anjali just continued to laugh

"Ahh my stomach hurts stop it Bhai"

"You two are unstoppable" I said letting him go.

"We only tease you because we love you." He hugged me and gave me a peck.

"Yeah we're sorry" Anjali said creeping up next to me. "We love you very much" I know that I said coming out of Arnav's hold and hugging Anjali.

"Mrs Raizarda you should not have accepted our apology"

"Why not?" I looked at him confused still holding Anjali. "Because now you'll have a lifetime of having to deal with our tantrums. If you let us of so easily now won't that spoil us?" I smiled at him then looked at Anjali.

"I don't mind handling my family's tantrums." I said with pride "after all I know how to manage the Raizarda babies."

I got up and pulled Anjali with me. "Now hurry up the guest are waiting." I took My hand out for Arnav he ready took it and pulled himself up.

We had completed our long photo session and were now heading to the reception.

Anjali didn't even wait up for us once we reached closed to the site she ran off. I waited a far for a second with Arnav just taking in the look of the site.

Small round wooden tables were set on the beach with white table clothes on top there was one round table in between all the other tables, the central table, where everyone could see the bride and groom, and they could all communicate, there was beautiful white drapes handing off bamboo sticks the mountain and ocean backdrops for our wedding reception.

"Do you like it?"

"Do you need to ask?" I looked at him with a small smile. I knew he would have read my expression, he knew me better than I knew myself there was no way he had not already known what I felt. The joy in my heart could be seen on my face my smile said it all.

"Let's go" he said holding my hand. Arnav yelled at Aman before we reached he nodded to his friend then began to use all the strength in his lungs to yell.

"Ladies and gentlemen let me be the first to welcome Mr and Mrs Raizarda." There was a loud roar with everyone screaming. I walked with Arnav down the hill than on the smooth sandy beach. His hands tightly entangled with mine as we walked pass the; waving hands, flying confetti, and the individual electronic devices. There were probable 100 pictures being taken that moment. But it was a wedding nothing else I was expecting. Through all the commotion my eyes spotted Anjali throwing gold seashell shaped confetti in the air with Charlene I smiled realising why she had run off. After all she had to entertain her guest too. The excitement on her face was priceless. I could do anything for this girl anything to always see her like this. Her smile was probable the biggest in the crowd she had dreamtime this day more than Arnav and I had. She had already decided the result of our relationship from the start.

Once we had passed the crowed and reach our table Priya walked to my side and Aman to Arnav's.

"Had fun?" She asked me

"Arnav sure did" Aman sniggered

"We were taking picture nothing fun about that" I said "and when your with the Raizarda sibling it is definitely not fun!" Priya laughed while Arnav made a face.

"Your a Raizarda to now" Aman tried to defend his friend.

"That's why I had said the siblings"

"You can't win against my wife Aman" Arnav said with a smirk.

"Wife, up to a few hours ago it was my girl" Aman raised a eye brow at his friend.

"She was not my wife up to a few hours ago she was just my life now she's my life and wife." He winked at me once then looked at his friend. His eyes then spotted on Anjali "what is he doing here?" There was a sudden change in his tone I could tell he was angry 'but what changed his mood?' I glanced at him and saw an angry expression on his face his eyes were focused on one place, correction one person. I followed his gaze and they landed on Anjali. She was talking to Charlene they were joking and laughing it's seemed as if they were having fun. I smiled seeing her like that even though I now knew I would have to handle a grumpy husband.

"He's Kidos guest"

"She didn't need any guest"

"Sana's come too"

"I don't remember inviting him or his name being on the invitation list."

"I invited him" he looked back at me with a glare. "And his name was there with some more of Anjali's friends. You just don't know any of them so must have skipped the page." I knew he had done that I didn't even have to think twice about it. "Don't give me that look you should have noticed before it's too late now" I smirked back at him "just let her have some fun".

Aman had interrupted our conversation saving the guest from seeing one of our arguments. "Guys your guest have been waiting for quite some time now can we have dinner?" He said

"Yeah I'm staving" Priya said trying to help Aman.

"Then let's eat" Aman waved to Momo dinner was not ordered from a restaurant. It was hand made by some of the most experienced chefs on the island, the mother of the island. They had volunteered to cook for all the guest they seemed so excited about it that Arnav didn't have the heart to say no to them. But he had insisted on paying for all the ingredients bring both parties to a compromise.

Priya fixed the back of my dress and I took a seat on my chair. Arnav sat next to me and called out to Anjali.

"Kiddo come sit with us"

"No I like it here"

"Kiddo" he shouted

"Let here stay there she can join us later" I interrupted.

"Khushi she'll complain later arguing about not being that in the picture"

"I won't promise Bhai" she did turning away from her brother. I could see Arnav's expression becoming hard. I pressed on his hand he turning to look at me with a slightly softer expression.

"We'll call her when we're cutting the cake there's no pictures while we eat." I moved closer to him and whispered "I know why you really calling her. She safe Sana is with her" I pointed towards her other friend on the table. He nodded and tried to enjoy rest of the dinner. I knew he was taking peaks towards her throughout the dinner but I didn't mind. He was protective that's who he was I couldn't change that nor could I ask him to be someone he was not. It's what made him the loving brother is.

"Attention please" Aman got up from his seat and raised a glass. "I think it's time for the best man's speech" he looked at Priya and she nodded. She got up and swapped places with him now Aman was on my side and Priya Arnav's side. Arnav and I looked up at them from our seat confused at what was occurring. "You all may be wondering why we swap places but we had a reason to do so."

Priya than began to speak "some of you may know that these two were apart for 5 years, continents apart. During this period I was with Khushi and Aman was with Arnav well physically that is."

"But really I was with Khushi, giving her info on Arnav indirectly" Aman said.

"And I was directly giving Arnav minute by minute info on Khushi" Priya said.

"Their hearts told them they had to know what the other was up to" Aman said.

"But there egos stopped them from asking" Priya said.

"So we did the work for them. We still sometimes support the other" Aman said

"Over our best friends, because like everyone else here today we know that these two belong together." Priya said

"That they know each other better then theor partner knows themselves" Aman said

"We will continue to support or best friends physically but mentally we will always be on opposite sides" Priya

"Sorry man" Aman said "I will always be on Khushi's side"

"I already knew you were a traitor Aman" Arnav shouted "you did it again this Morning" Arnav said in a lower voice knowing what his friend had been up to.

"It never did matter who's side they took" I interrupted, Priya looked at me and smiled.

"No matter what the boys say it really didn't matter whose side we took. Because indirectly these two will always be on one side" Priya said.

"We wish you both the best for the future." Aman said "but most importantly I wish Khushi good luck! She may make it look as if handling these Raizardas is easy business but it really is a hard task."

"Hey!" Anjali shouted from her seat.

"There's wisdom in my words" he said only to have to jump over the table the next second running from Arnav, he was about to bump into Anjali when he reached the other side but he quickly dodged her and ran around her. The two chase him out of the reception area then walked back.

'These two would never grow up' I thought to myself watching them strolling together laughing at their antics.

The ceremony was complete so was dinner all that remained was cake and a little dancing. I didn't have to look around for the cake because Momo brought it to us with the help of her friends.

"Enjoy sweety" she said giving me a kiss.

I looked at my two devils with a raised eyebrow. They stopped laughing. glanced at each other then Arnav spoke.

"He'll be back in a few minutes" he said it casually then walked to my side as if nothing had happened.

"You two are lucky I'm in a good mood"

"No we're lucky you always support us" Anjali said with a smirk. She was becoming more and like her brother day by day.

"I love you" I heard Arnav whisper in my ear I looked up at him and saw upmost love in his eyes. He had seen where my eyes had been focused I could tell by the soft look on his face.

"Bhai" Anjali whined gaze turned to her face. She looked beautiful today the only one who could have completed this perfect day. My eyes would have been frozen on her if not for the sudden flash that had hit me. In front of our table stood our guests holding their camera once again wishing to capture the moment.

The cake was cut and the first slice was brought out by Arnav. As expected the first slice had been for his sister. It may have shocked the guest but if he had not done that I would have pushed his hand holding the slice towards her.

"Bhai not me"

"Just eat it" he told her then turned to me. I blinked at him thanking him when I opened my month it he stuffed the whole slice in my month. I gave him an evil look while trying to swallow.

"LG" I said picking a slice he knew he was in trouble that moment. I first offered it to Anjali who was giggling crazily knowing her brother was not safe. "You turn" I said to him. He shook his head "it's really sweet" his eyes glanced at the guest. "Eat it or I'll cover you face with it" I whispered. He opened up than held my wrist while biting the cake. I knew he was trying to save himself. I could still move my wrist joints which is exactly what I did. The cake was lifted an inch and covered his nose. The bone line of his nose was now covered with cream.

"Khushi" he shouted I laughed with everyone else stepping back a little to give them the opportunity to get a picture of the great Raizarda covered in cream. Unfortunately for them he was still smiling which was not great for me. Their only loss was they missed out on seeing a tomato covered in cream. "I'll get you back later" he whispered in my ear. I walked pass him and began talking to some of the guest thanking them for coming. I could feel his eyes on me the whole time yet now demands no request just a silent speculator, that's what he was.

"May I have this dance?" My hand went into his without any though. The guest I was talking to slowly moved away. He pulled me onto the dance floor and wrapped his arm sound my waist. Swaying to the music I could see his eyes only on me. The perfect fairy tale moment that's what this felt like. A moment where I knew I was safe and happy. The guest no longer mattered, I didn't care who was here the only one that mattered was the man whose arms I was in: My companion, my Best friend, my Husband. He looked at me then nodded his head a little as if asking me what I was thinking I just shook my head in return.

His eye focused behind I turned to Anjali dancing with Charlene "kiddo" I shouted she turned towards me and without taking a second to think she came running towards me. "Swap dance partners please" I whispered in her ear then walked off.

I then told Charlene I would be dancing with him. A few minutes may not be enough to understand someone but I knew one thing for sure this boy had manners, I would trust my Anjali with anyone but I wouldn't mind letting him be her friend.

I glanced at Arnav between the dance and saw him laughing with his sister. The two made my life full of joy, these small moments matter more than anything memories where were being made now to be forever captured in my mind. His eyes met with mine and all I saw in then was gratitude. Appreciation for being in his life, for always caring, and for protecting Anjali again it was unsaid yet projected.

The party was finally coming to an end with guest beginning to leave, I could hear Aman and Priya shouting in the back about the time. I saw Aman walk up to Arnav and whisper something, he said something to Anjali and she ran off. When I reached them there conversation had ended.

"What's going on boys?" I asked

"It's time to leave" Arnav replied and then pulled me to some guest who had been waiting by small yot. Time was here to stay goodbye to some faces, and see you later to others. I gave my hugs and kisses, got my wishes then slowly walked towards Anjali. Plans had already been made for her, she would be staying with Priya in London for a week, the only one person I could trust. Luckily she was on holiday so Kushal would be their most of the day to keep her entertained n she could visit her friends' rest of the time.

I gave her a tight hug not wanting to let her go. She was my angel, my baby I knew I couldn't live without her even for a day, I hated the feeling.

"Khushi we'll be back in few days." I heard Arnavs soft voice in my ear, but at the same time I could hear Anjali sobbing. "Girls its one week stop crying" he said when we pulled out of the hug "you can tease me as much as you want when you together again" that made the two of us laugh. I bent down to her level gave her strict instructions to take care of herself and not to cry. I wiped the few tears then gave her one last hug before stepping away. Arnav was no better than me his hug lasted longer than mine did luckily Anjali did not cry this time. He said his good byes and held my hand helping onto the yot.

It felt like a small part of me was being left behind as we drove away. I was wrong a large part of me was being left behind. It seemed Arnav was more hurt than I was. I could tell by the tight grip on my hand, his hear was aching inside after all that was his sister his only family. In his eyes she was now in a stranger's hand.

"Where we going?" I asked trying to divert his attention

"Spain!"

Nothing else was said for the next few minutes. There was no need to speak his arm wrapped around my waist and he pulled me close together we waved bye till we could not see anyone, till it was just the two of us. Ready to start our new life, ready to take our first step as Mr and Mrs. Waiting for whatever life had in store for us. This unpredictable journey was only beginning. We knew there were many more unpredictable moments to come.

Two more parts to come!

We had not been able to read this change we had not listened to her wishes or understood her wishes. She had always got what she wanted yet was taught the importance of what she had. She may have had everything, but lived under the shadow of the Raizarda name. Her struggle was not the cage we built but the cage the world had built. She was not a free bird in India her security was always a major issue. She was not restricted in the city that she grew up and loved. She wanted to stay there, study there, and grow up there. There was nothing wrong with that, other than the fact she would stay away from Arnav and I. She was currently at the age where rebelling was normal, yet she hardly did.

People would think her tantrums are childish. The same people, the same society that is probable telling her to grow up, at a time when she is expected to make some of the biggest decision of her life. Not knowing how important they really are. Chose the subjects she would study for the following year, subjects that could affect what she would be able to study in the future which would decide what career she goes into. At her young age she may not know the importance of her decision yet as a society we expect her to take it and we expect it to be right. After leaving such a big decision in her hands how could we think other decisions she makes are wrong?

"Arnav" I said in a low voice after taking a big breath.

"Yes" he said keeping his eyes closed

"Life has changed" his eyes suddenly popped open

"What do you mean" he slowly got himself into a sitting position.

"Our kido is no longer a kido" I said

"Khushi she will always be our kiddo"

"She's changing and we haven't given her the space to change"

"What do you mean? We give her everything that she wants including freedom. I admit I didn't let her come to London by herself but..."

"She lied she didn't want to spend her summer with Charlene, she wanted time to think, time to choose what she wanted out of life." He stayed quite wanting me to continue. "At the age she's at everything is changing around her not just her body, but her mind, her school, her education, and her friends. Half her friends are probable going to another school from her."

"Friends change Khushi that's life at least she'll always have us" he said. I watched him for a second then spoke again stroking my stomach.

"Were changing too, our family is growing" he put his hand over mind.

"She's happy for us"

"I never said she wasn't, she's probable more happy then we are. After all she will no longer be the youngest. Nevertheless it's still something she has to get used to."

"She can do that around us, with our help" I went quite for a moment, somewhere deep down in my heart I feared she didn't want my help.

"She demonstrating her view"

"By running away?"

"By proving she's no longer a child that needs to always be watched over. One who can make her on decisions and live by them."

"She hasn't made a great decision here has she?"

"Where is she now? In Gibraltar, somewhere she knows she'll be safe, somewhere we can be assured she's safe." I tried to calm him down

"She would be safer at home" I paused for a moment then spoke.

"Yes but when you need to think the only place you are able to do that is in your study" remembering the time we spend together. "With her it's the beach. Just like me it's her haven"

"As kids we can spend time and think in our room this is only because we don't have a choice. As grownup we first take space, then when we are ready we accept change. She's not only accepting change she's also fighting for change." He raised his eyebrow at me.

"Fighting for her brother to finally accept that his little sister is no longer little. She needs you to give her space to grow and that this fatherly brother can no longer watch over her" I squeezed his hand.

"I need to protect her"

"And you will from a far, we will still give her the love and protection but with respect."

He looked the other way I slowly rotated his head to face me.

"All our lives are changing, our world is changing. It's not a bad change, it's just a part of life." I said to him in a low voice

He held onto my hand, entangling our fingers, he was probable not ready but it was something he had to accept. "We'll get through this together."

When the plane landed neither of us we're ready to face our grown up girl. The one who has been one of the reason we were living for the last two years.

"Ready" he said helping me get out of my seat. His one hand in placed on my back the other on my stomach. Ready I was not, but willing, I was.

The taxi ride was tense but understandable, no words needed. Both our eyes were outside the window scanning to see if we would see the shadow we recognised. But there was no use we had not seen her.

Once reaching my flat Arnav had lifted me in his arms and carried me up the stairs. In all the chaos he had not once stopped caring about me he was still the man I knew. The only difference was now he was mature for not only the world but us to. He had changed, he had developed and I liked it. It was something I had learnt to adapt to. Yes just like any other marriage there were compromises but when things change in our lives we can't whine and complain. Change is what growing is all about it's what life is all about. As we pass different phases of our life we learn to: adjust and progress. We have to change with world.

Arnav and I still argued like there was no tomorrow but I once had a friend who called it 'cute bunter' and he was right. The arguments, discussions and disagreements were the spice of our life. The topics we argued about changed but the quarrels didn't. Every opportunity we got we would want to prove ourselves right. I laughed when I thought about it now, we never really grew up we were still kids when it came to some things.

"She's not here" he said after I pulled down on the handle trying to opening the door, it was locked.

"Spare key" I said, he was just about to place me down when we heard a very familiar voice from behind us.

"What are you two doing here?" she shouted

Arnav turned to look at momo

"Hi!" I said

"Isn't that sweet my girl, you've trained him well" she said with an awe expression on her face.

"Momo where is kiddo?" Arnav asked still holding onto me

"Annnjali" she said in the English accent. "I haven't seen her did she come with you two?"

"Momo..." I cut Arnav off

"Yes, but she ran off"

"She won't be far" she said to me patting my head in a motherly manner. "You look beautiful" I gave her a small smile before she walked off.

He placed me down and opened the door, helping me slowly into the room before seating me down. He ran into the kitchen probable to get me something to relax. My eyes traced around the room everything seemed the same, just like I had left it. The fire place was out, books thrown across the table half open and the balcony curtains blowing in the high winds. Wind' it can't be, I knew where she was' I said to myself. I slowly got up and headed to the balcony, the beautiful sea in front of my eyes. I loved it' just like another person did.

"Arnav lets go" I shouted heading towards the exit, Momo had always left the window's open but never balcony doors. The open balcony meant she had come here to the flat.

"Khushi" he shouted behind me

The beach was perfect to look at when wanting to calm the mind, it was my haven my run away stop when I needed time to think. A year ago kido had found out and figured it was the perfect secluded spot she was able to feel free there like I was.

"Where are we going?" My clueless husband had finally caught up to me half way down the street.

"The beach"

"Why?" he asked as if it was the most unusual place to go right now. I stopped walking and turned to look at him.

"Where did you find me on our first night on this beach?" I asked his eyes slowly widened a little and he ran towards the beach "Arnav" I shouted

"Sorry" he said turning back and picking me up than running once again. I laughed as we reached the beach in a few minutes.

I could see a shadow in the distance, we looked at each other knowing exactly who it was. She was sat scrunched up on the soft sand with her legs bent close to her chest. I was placed on my feet we looked at each other than took slow steps towards her. She was so lost in her thought she didn't hear the two of us approach her or hear us take and take a seat on her sides. Arnav sat on her right while I sat on her left staring at the ocean view.

"My baby girl's all grown up now" Arnav said in a calm voice , Anjali's head suddenly turned to her right shocked to hear he brother he was not looking at her.

"Kido we used to call her" I said, her head then turned to me. Arnav and my eyes were on the slow moving waves.

"Very sweet girl" he said we continued to talk as if she wasn't next to us

"And cute" I said looking at him not her.

"She wants independence now"

"And think she's making a point by running away" I shook my head.

"I'm sitting right here" She said

"So!" We both said together.

She gave the two of us her ASR, it was more like the Raizarda look now.

"Anyway where were we" Arnav continued "too bad we know where to find her" he sniggered.

"I didn't run away"

"No, you just packed and left" Arnav raised his voice a little.

"I need some space" she said with an angry expression.

"You have a room for that" they began to argue again

"Arnav" is all I said he shut up and so did his sister.

"You shouldn't have left" he said in a low voice looking away from her. "I was worried sick"

"I know I'm sorry" Anjali said looking down embarrassed at her own actions.

"We could have talk"

"When I came to talk you said no then shouted at me."

"I didn't understand what you wanted."

"Like always" she said sarcastically

"Kido" I said raising an eyebrow.

"Okay not always but..."

"But we didn't understand" I completed her sentence putting my arm around her.

"I don't want to grow up" she said putting her head on my shoulder.

"I looked at Arnav who looked at me with a dropped expression.

"You know kids your age normally say the opposite" Arnav said trying to lighten the mood.

"She turned her head to look at him without lifting her head of my shoulder.

"They don't run away half way around the world few hours after arguing with their guardians" we both laughed at her answer.

"Guess they're not that privileged" he said patting her head.

"Kido growing up is a part of life"

"Too much is changing"

"Yes and the three of us are fighting in our own ways against it rather than figuring away to accept it" I said. "Work, collage, and the baby are pulling us indifferent directions"

"I don't like it" Anjali said

"Me either" Arnav followed, I laughed at the two.

"You know what this reminds me of?" they both looked at me waiting for me to continue. "The 14 year old girl who suddenly became scared when no one had time for her." She looked down "looks like the feeling of neglect is coming back"

"Kiddo is it really?" Arnav asked her, I lifted her chin to look up at me.

"Do you remember what your brother told you at that time?" she nodded "what did he say?"

"That I'll always have one of you by my side" she said in a low voice but confidence.

"Then what changed now?"

"You're both busy" she said

"Kiddo I was home on time" Arnav said

"I didn't want to talk to you" she said, Arnav's head shifted back slightly feeling a little offended. I would have laughed if the situation was not serious.

"You could have come to see me whenever you wanted. You don't normally hesitate what changed?"

She was quite for a few minutes then spoke "I need to get used to this..." she paused and I knew what was coming. The thoughts that I had thought about but not discussed with Arnav on the plane were my fears. I was hoping they were going to be proven wrong. I was hoping that this time I was wrong about Anjali, that I had made a mistake in understanding what she feels.

Seeing her downcast eyes and absent smile my heart beat increased knowing my fears were true my concern was correct.

"Why?" I asked my voice rose a little, I was upset inside, I had always understood my angel and once again my assumption on what she was feeling was correct. Yet she had failed to understand me. She was growing up and probable trying to understand what people felt for her and what's best for others. But while doing this she was hurting, misunderstanding someone who loved her unconditionally. Arnav's head snapped up at me he was shocked with my tone. I only used that voice with him he realise how mad I was when I spoke again. "Why Anjali?" I hardly ever had to use her name she was always called kido' by me nothing else.

The fear that would always fill Arnav or her was filling me today. I didn't want to go back to who I was two years ago, I didn't want to think about letting go of my angel. We had all come such long way, this was our family. Good times or bad feeling had to be shared, emotion had to be expressed. We couldn't run from them nor hid. I a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach, as if the food I ate on the plane would come out. Was someone again moving away from me? I shut my eyes for a second.

I couldn't blame her for trying to do this after all at this age it was what most teenagers did. They thought they were right, they thought they knew what's best.

"The baby will be coming soon. And you'll be busy with her or him. I can't keep bugging you with my problems" I was right she wanted space, she wanted to show how grown up she was to her brother. With me however she was stepping back. I didn't say a word instead I pulled her into a hug.

Arnav wasn't expecting that reply from her nor was he expecting my reaction.

His sister understood how she has to take a step back. How she will no longer be the youngest.

"You will ALWAYS have me there for you" I pulled back "I don't care what you thought you had to do, what you did was wrong."

"I'll agree with her for once" Arnav said

"Shut up" I said giving him my glare. Anjali couldn't help but giggle at that. I then raised an eyebrow at her. "Not done with you missy. Let me make myself clear. You will always come to me when you have problems. I don't care what time it is, who I'm with or what I'm doing. I expect to hear about your problems from your mouth not another source. Do I make myself clear?"

She nodded with a small smile I could see regret in her eyes. I knew she was upset but she needed to understand she was important in our lives. Giving us time for ourselves and taking time for she was important but family time was more important than anything else.

"And this baby" I put her hand on my stomach "expects the same love from you that I give to you."

"They will be your angel like you are ours" Arnav interrupted again. I didn't mind his interruption this time. She laughed then rested her head on Arnav's shoulder.

"Sorry Bhai" she said to him "I didn't mean to stress you out."

"You didn't stress me out but your bhabi. You know she not meant to be stressing right now." He put his arm around her.

"I'm sorry Bhabi"

"Apology not accepted" I said

"What? Why not?" she jumped up

"You have to promise you won't do this again I put my hand out" she put her hand over mine.

"I promise" she smile then lent down to talk to the baby "I'm sorry I must of made you mummy run so much today. Hope she didn't tire you out" Arnav and I looked at each other sharing a satisfied expression. "But it's a good thing she now on the beach she can relax. You know she's been working really hard for last month" I smiled at her. "And don't worry I will also make up for it once you come out, you will be my angel. I will love you more than anyone else."

"More than anyone?" Arnav pulled her back she was now leaning on him.

"Obviously the dad loves the most."

"NO! I will love them the most and they me."

"You already get more love from Khushi then me, I'm not letting you steal my babies love too." She laughed.

"To bad you won't have any control over it" she stuck her tongue out at him.

"I though you wanted to show your all grown up now?"

"This is the most I can grow when I live with a guardian who himself is a child" she said then quickly crawled away on the sand ready to sprint.

"ANJI" he shouted chasing after her.

I watched from afar the sun was setting and waves were clashing against the rocks. The cool breeze blow their hair as they ran on the warm beach sand, I watch them stumble and sink in the sand. I could hear there laughter from where I sat. It was really the little things that mattered in life. I could see Anjali running towards me again with Arnav still chasing her.

"Save me" she ran behind me and held my back.

"Khushi move" he tried to reach for his sister.

"You two will never grow up" I said in disbelief.

"Bhabi careful Bhabi pregnant you'll hurt her"

"Are you saying ill hurt my own wife?" he said in an angry tone.

"Stop it you two, Arnav sit" he did just that he sat on the side. "And you" I turned my body and dragged her to my side she was now in-between Arnav and I. "We'll make arrangement for you to continue studying at your collage. But we may have to stay in India for Arnav's work."

"WHAT!" Arnav shouted

"I'm not keeping her away from me"

"You will if you want her to have the best education and space to grow."

"But..." Anjali now spoke "I don't want to be away from you to"

"I though you wanted freedom" I said

"I did but I also want to see the baby grow up I can't do that from afar" I looked at her with a gentle expression.

"Exactly" Arnav shouted I glared at him to shut up.

"Then maybe it would be a good idea to all stay in the UK, you get your freedom, I won't be having any cases for a while. And just like your dad Arnav can run the business from our home."

"That's perfect" she smiled Arnav looked at me with an angry expression I knew this conversation was not over yet. But I didn't care this was not the time. Where ever we would decide to go in the world we would be together.

"Look at the moon" she shouted and pointed.

My hand reached out behind Anjali and Arnav and I entangles our finger together. The calm surreal sound of the sea relaxing me like they always did. This was life we made time even when we didn't have much. We accepted the change around us, big or small we found way to overcome them, accept them. We enjoyed every moment we had together.

Chapter 67 - Our Family

Note in two parts

I snuggled closer to the warmth in my sleep. "Khushi" a gentle voice trying to wake me up from the deep slumber I was in.

"Khushi" Arnav said again his love was sleeping on his shoulder with their arms wrapped around each other.

He would have let me sleep if the food had not arrived. He knew I was sleeping on an empty stomach and would be starving. "Khushi" he said again my eyes fluttered open.

"Hmmm" I moaned complaining about my sleep being broken.

"Khushi you haven't eaten, wake up and eat something" his voice had already broken my sleep but his care woke me up. I looked up at his face, my face then ROTATED around the plane.

"Where's Kido?"

"Asleep" he pointed to the seats in front of us, Anjali had he legs stretched on the seats a pillow on the hand rest supporting her head. I couldn't help but smile.

Air hostess came up to us and asked what we would like to eat? Arnav ordered for the two of us then asked me to go freshen up. On my way to the bathroom I had quickly insured Anjali's blanket was on her properly and her pillow was at the right angle. Looked like Arnav had already switched of all the electronics around her had been switched off so she wouldn't be disturbed.

"Thank you" I said sitting back in my seat my food tray nearly set with the packages all opened for me.

"For what? I know this thanks was not for the food."

"For tucking Kido in" I smiled at him taking a bit of my salad.

"Are you forgetting she's my sister, which makes it my duty to take care of her" He bit into his rice.

"Then a thank you for doing your duty"

"Shouldn't i be thanking you?" I raised an eyebrow, he took my free hand in his "you didn't have any duties towards her you still..." He stopped there I saw gratitude in his eyes one that I had always seen. This was always an unspoken topic between us. A few words would be exchanged but we would never have a full discussion there was never any need for it. What I did was never a favour to him, it was what families did for each other. I stepped in when he was in need, when he was at his lowest emotionally broken and hurt. A big part of my heart knew that I had always loved him and would always love him. If indirectly I could have helped my love I would which is exactly what I had done. Helped the love of my life to get his life together when our lives were falling apart.

"Don't" I said before he could finish speaking. Even if he had been a small reason for me to say yes he wasn't the only reason. I loved Anjali as much as he did I would have given up on her, never! She was a little sister to me she still is my little sister. Our angle she lightened up my world when Arnav had left and she lightens it up now. Even if she wasn't Arnav's sister I would have taken her in after the accident it wouldn't have matter to me that's she's my Arnav's sister. To me she was a adorable girl I meet who had a clear heart n who needed me. I had adored her from the moment I'd met her. She was mischievous little girl who stolen my heart over the years. I loved her then as a little sister now I lived her as my daughter.

The real chain that had held me and Arnav together all these years and is now holding us together, completing the family.'

He looked straight at my face he could always read me nothing was different now. He could see how his one 'thanks' had hurt me, he knew it would but he just couldn't resist the change in his life was thanks to me, the one he loved. How could he stay silent and not say one 'thanks you' he couldn't not give credit to the women who was the reason for his happiness he couldn't not show his gratitude.

"Sorry" he kissed my hand "she more your then mine" he tried to cover up but there was genuine truth in his words. "She may be my sister but your daughter" he knew exactly what my heart called him. "She loves you more anyway" I couldn't help but smirked at his words. He moved closer to me and whispered in my ear "don't be too smug about it. Not like it's the first time I've said that."

He smirked "I've already admitted it to the world" I smiled

"Yes you have" I glanced at the little girl we were taking about. I had always prayed for her happiness, hoped she would never have to face any pain. But the reality was different our destiny had given us all pain. Pain we had to learn to live with but amongst this. She had probable had to face the most pain; with a secret hidden in her heart and separation from her brother for years and the loss of her parents. At a young age she had seen a lot yet her face always had a smile on it. She had more strength then I could ever show. She had unintentionally taught me to cover the pain with happiness. Her love was unconditional, her soul was caring and her heart was innocent. She would change over the year that I knew I just hoped she didn't change too much.

We had built a world where we would all be happy. I was may be selfish but I wanted that world to always stay the same. The three of us and our little world'; with no darkness; no misunderstandings; no accidents; no separation; and no pain. "You told the world about this world of ours." I said

"Our little world" he said as if he could have read my mind.

I would have been surprised if it was someone else who guessed that. "Get some rest you won't get any after we land" Arnav said after the food tray his finished but my mind had not stopped thinking.

"I'll watch her" he said kissing my forehead and putting my head to rest on his shoulder again.

"Why won't I get any time after we land?" I asked my eyes half shut yet sleep feeling like it was miles away.

"You have a lot of appoints lined up" he said I knew he had already planned a lot but what I wasn't quite sure.

"Do you mind elaborating on that please?" I asked

"Umm"

"Yes"

"You should sleep first" he said.

I turned my head to see his face. "Talk Mr"

"You have appointments with three..." He paused for a second as if bracing himself for my wrath "bridal boutiques"

"WHAT!" I shouted

"Shhh" he pointed towards Anjali.

"How could you make the appointments without asking me? I..."

"I know what you like" he interrupted me "you would have taken forever to get yourself to go to the shops if I had not booked it. I know how much you hate shopping for yourself."

"Wait this all seems too rushed to me. When's the wedding day?" He started looking around the plane avoiding eye contact with me. "Arnav!" He still didn't look at me. "LG!" Still no answer "You stupid lard governor I will kill you of you don't tell me the date" he couldn't help but laugh at my impatient behavior. He tried to lean in closer to me but I moved back.

He then whispered "I can't tell you here's there are people around, I'll tell you when we land. And even if I don't" he pointed to the sleeping angle in front of us "she will" I smiled knowing she really couldn't hid anything from me. "Aman's joining me in the evening with Akash after which the three of us will go suit shopping."

"And my bridesmaid dresses?" I asked assuming he had probable arranged something for that too.

"They will meet you tomorrow morning, I though I'll give you today to spend on yourself." I smiled and then rested my head on his shoulder again.

"Still feels like a dream" I said closing my eyes.

"Yes it does, we waited too long"

"It's coming to an end now."

"Soon!" Was the last word I heard before I dosed off again.

I woke up after a few hours and saw he was not next to me. I looked around and saw him sitting with his sister watching a move. Looked like batman they had probable both come to a compromise her not wanted to watch action and him not wanting to watch a sob movie. I quietly creep out of my seat and went to the washroom.

"Where were you?" I heard a large shout from Anjali as I stepped out.

"Umm I went to freshen up" I said looking back at the toilets I had just come out of.

"I was so worried could you inform us before?" She shouted I saw panic on her face one which was rare for this girl. I got on my knees and stood in front of her.

"Kido where would I go without telling you? Were in the sky there's nowhere for me to go. You and Arnav were so engrossed in movie I didn't want to disturb you. You need to leave this fear in your heart. I'm not going anywhere" I said in a calm voice.

"She will never leave kiddo" Arnav said from behind "she can't even if she wanted to she loves us too much" he smiled at me trying to lighten the mood. "She's addicted to us"

"Khushi let's go sit down planes about to land." He took Anjali with him and sat next on the seat next to mine. He knew we would have like to talk. I did my buckle then turned to hear. "Why were you scared?"

"I wasn't" she tried to defend herself.

"Kido!" I said "you've never his anything from me don't start now"

"I just don't want to lose you or Bhai" she said in a low voice.

"Why would you?"

"I don't know I have never thought mum and dad would leave me" I pulled her into a hug. We hadn't spoken about this topic since the accident there was never any need too.

"Kido you never told me about the fear before."

"I don't know everything seems to perfect at the moment, that's when something bad always happens" I pulled back and cupped her face. After seeing so much at a young age this was expected I just didn't want her hiding her feelings from me it would only hurt the two of us.

"Nothing bad will happen this time. Trust me!" I reassured her as the safely signs came up. "Next time don't his anything from me Kido, please confront me" she nodded

"Anyway you have a wedding to plan, and someone special waiting for you to think about"

"Khushi" I heard Arnav shout from the seat in front.

Once we were out of the arrival gate. Arnav quickly directed us towards two taxis. Priya was already waiting near one of them I gave her a hug "missed you" she whispered into my ear.

"Me too"

"This will take you girls to the boutique" he said opening the door for one.

"What boutique?" Anjali asked

"Where you're going to buy Khushi's dress" Arnav answered

"Where you heading?" I asked him

"Going to drop the bags home freshen up then meet Aman." He looked at his watch. "He should be landing in 3 hours."

"Bhai why do we have to go now? I'm tried can I not come home with you?"

"No kiddo you know why we need to do this now" he said with a straight face."

"But..." He cut her off

"You slept for half that plane journey there's no way your tried."

"Fine you go relax while we do all the work" she said then got into the taxi.

"Open all the window, let fresh air in and sleep for a bit you didn't on the plane" I said before getting into the taxi. Arnav smiled at my care towards him and walked to his taxi full of bags.

We were in Central London in one of the most expressive boutiques in London. The sales assistant had just been told it's a beach wedding. I told her I wanted a smile and elegant dress. She had so far shown me three that were simple yet not simple enough for me. I wanted a straight cut flowing dress that's all I really knew. I felt like one of those who's brides who had no clue about what they were doing.

Anjali was sitting outside with Priya. I had refused to try on any of the dresses so far they were probable getting impatient. The sales assistant walked in with a clothes cover over my possible wedding dress. It felt weird sitting here on the soft plumped purple armchair in a room all alone. I had dreamt about this day for a very long tie yet felt surreal now. After all I had killed this dream many years ago, and it had only been reawaken a few months ago.

Yet I knew I was ready, ready for the day ready for the life ahead.

She opened the zip of the dress and I felt a smile growing on my lips. It was exactly what I would have wanted. A plane, simple flowing white dress made of a cotton under layer and netted over layer on the skirt. It came had a white belt on the waist to enhance curves. The top was the real show point of the dress. A transparent front with floral applique design formed to cover only the most important areas even though the neckline was high. She turned the dress and I saw the transparent applique pattern continuing on the back.

"Would you like to try it on?" I nodded then tried it. It felt soft and comfortable exactly what I wanted but it was a little loses around my waist.

"We're going to have to get this fitted" she said as she put a clip on the back to give me a view of how the dress would look once completed. "We know you're on a tight scheduler so we may have to rush it."

I just looked at myself in the mirror I really did love the dress yet it felt like something missing.

"I understand why don't you get started on it I'll pay for emergency changes."

"Would you not like to show it to your friends?"

"No I'll keep it a surprise" I took it off and quickly changed.

"Let's go girls" I said to the two.

"Did they not have any dresses you liked here?" Priya asked

"No they did, I choose it"

"What!" Anjali shouted

"Khushi this isn't like your normal shopping spree where you walk in and out with the first dress you see" Priya argued.

"I know, I looked at a few dresses"

"And you happy with it?" She asked me

"Yes!"

"Then can we see it?" Anjali asked

"Not now Kido it's a surprise..." "Now come on we have to find your dress" I said pushing her towards the door.

"Don't they have any here?" Priya asked

"Already checked they only do brides maids not flower girls.

"I'm not a flower girl" I'm "13" that's makes me too old to be a flower girl"

"Hmm well I'll just have to check that" I said. We walked out and I thought to first check the highs tree stores as we were close to Oxford Street. Somewhere in my mind I knew Anjali would be too big for the flower girl dresses but I didn't want her to be in a bridesmaid dress she was too young for it. I wanted her to be free that day dress like an angel.

We walked to the kids' area and the sales assistant confirmed Anjali's doubts. Flower girls dresses only went up to 11-12. She loved that and so did I but now I was in a dilemma she couldn't wear a long dress like the others however she would look beautiful in a short dress. I told her what I would like her to wear and she loved the idea. A short flowing dress perfect for a beach wedding.

The next few hours felt never ending we looked at over 100 dresses in many stores including private boutiques and high street stores. But nothing was good enough it was either to simple or the wrong colour. Some dresses looked puff on her, some pricked her and some just didn't fit well. We were on a time limit so finding the perfect dress was vital. Somewhere it felt even months to plan would not have been enough time. So far the best dress we had seen was a light blue sleeveless dress made of chiffon with floral appliqu on the sleeves it felt right but was just too short. Like many other dresses it ended above her knees. I knew Arnav would kill me if I got that for her. The dress was just we not good enough she needed to shine that day and nothing worked. We entered a small boutique selling couture dresses for weddings. She had brides made dresses on one side of the room and bridal dresses on the other.

"Kido"

"Khushi" we both shouted at each other together our eyes caught by a dress on display with the wedding dresses. "Can we try that?" I asked seeing Anjali's eyes frozen on the dress.

It fit her perfectly we had finally found the perfect dress after what seemed like a while day. When I looked at my watch I saw it had been a whole day we had been searching since 11 this morning and it was now 6. If not for the adrenaline and the short lunch we had Anjali would have been dead tired.

We purchased that dress and asked for it to be delivered the next morning.

There was a sudden tiredness that we had missed while shopping. Yes we were exhausted but it was out of frustration. Now when we got into the taxi Anjali's head fell on my shoulder she was fast asleep in a few minutes. It had been a long day she needed rest. I got a call from Arnav after dropping Priya home.

"Hello" I whispered

"Why are you whispering?" He asked

"Kidos asleep"

"Ohh, have you finished your shopping"

"Yes, we only have to get the bridesmaids dresses now"

"Okay you can do that tomorrow morning"

"Where are you?"

"On my way to the tailors"

"What now?" My eyes widened

"Shhh"

"I'm not shouting"

"You will" he chuckled

"Shut up, you had all day why did you go now?"

"Aman just arrived" he tried to defend himself.

"Nice excuse, while Kido and I we're scourging around in 100 shops you got to sleep at home." I said in and angry tone

"I want sleeping"

"Then what should I have expected you to be doing cleaning the house" I said in a sarcastic tone. I could tell he was smirking on the other side. "Never mind your lucky shops are open till ten or you wouldn't have a suit to buy"

"Luck? This is my intelligent planning"

"Whatever Raizarda don't forget what I told you no dark colours"

"Yes Mrs to be Raizarda I remember clearly. I won't get any blacks or greys" he said mocking me.

"I'll text you the colour"

"You decided?" he asked

"All fits into place after buying kidos dress" he smiled on the other side that I knew.

"Finally you found her dress, I didn't think you would in this lifetime."

"What do you mean by that? The dress had to be perfect that's why we took so long" I argued.

"Yes ma'am I know you girls are picky"

"Arnav"

"As long as you two are happy with i don't mind how long it took. That and not delaying my wedding"

"Arnav if for Kidos dress I had to delay your wedding I would have"

"My wedding?" he shouted on the other side.

"Yes I'm home I'll text you the colour in a bit"

"Fine bye" he slammed the phone in anger couldn't help but smile

"Bye" I said then tried to woke up Anjali. The lazy girl didn't want to get up.

"Kido were home get up." She adjusted in her sleep

"I want to sleep"

"Sleep in your bed not here" she finally moved herself up and got out of the car. I was about to pay for the driver but he told me all expenses were paid by my fianc.

I stepped out and saw my house felt like we had been away from this place for a long time even though it had only been a few weeks. I guess this was my home, my first home. I would always remember this place as to where my family first live together. My eyes traced over the building that still looked the same. The home where I grew up the place that held all my childhood memories. The lane I rode my bike on. The steam you would see over the rooftop, When we had a BBQ, the neighbors that would bring over meals when it was a special occasion. The noise over the vacuum cleaner as we hovered the car. I could live my life remembering the numerous memories of this place. The old and the new ones we had created: the snow fights, paint fights, warm nights, birthday celebrations and delicious meals in our home. One of our homes!

My thought stopped when my eyes got to the small girl who body was leaning against the front door. "Kido" I shouted and ran over to her letting half her body weight drop on me as I dragged her in. She dropped on the couch before I could say a word. "Kido go change"

"Hmmm" is all I got in reply. I put a blanket over her and let her sleep.

I quickly texted Arnav the colour of the suit I wanted him to get then thought to make some dinner for myself. I kept glancing at Anjali's sleeping form. The angel that had been in my life for years was not officially going to be related to me. I could never forget me first meeting with her she was always a bubbly child. The first meeting only showed how different she was to her brother. Just like that first moment I would never forget the worst moment of our life. When she had come running into my arms after news of our parents death. The tears in her eyes had broken me and built a wall stopping me from grieving. The couch she was sleep on now was the same place she had shared her deepest darkest fears and secrets with me. I had seen more tears then I would have like to in her eyes. I just hoped I could keep then out of her eyes now.

I poured a glass of water and walked to Anjali. "Kido get up" I said shaking her a little.

"Let me sleep"

"Drink his then you can" I said continuing to shake her

"Fine" I brought he glass to her lips and she got up on one elbow and made her drink it while she had her eyes closed. She popped back into bed once she was done. I washed that glass then filled my plate of food, picked it up and started eating my dinner. I knew Arnav would eat out it's what the three enjoyed doing in collage.

Collage days were so different to what they were now. Our relationship was so different to what it is now. Then we were a couple but now were a family. We used to enjoy say out with each other and our friends now we can't think of a day without Anjali. His main priority would be football and f1 now he can't think of anything other than business. How life changes over the year. A few years added to your age and your way of looking at life totally changes. The boys may be out today but I knew their time together would not be like it used to be. The thing they discuss may be the same but there insight towards it would be different. They can try and be those teenage boys for a few minutes but they would never be able to live those moments again.

I checked one last time on Anjali, showered, changed and then got into my bed (Payal's old room) a place which I had once dreaded to visit. If it had not been for Arnav I would have still kept this room locked, my heart locked. Stopping myself from grieving, from letting go of who was no longer there. He had become my strength that day. No words were exchanged yet grief was shared. That day had taken a burden of my back. Pain growing in my heart was let out before it could grow anymore.

If helping me cry was not enough he had even tricked me, winded me up to make alteration in this place. Something that was needed! A step to help me move on with my life, a step to help me accept the reality of my lives. It really did help me, it changed our lives a mere activity like redecoration changed the position they held in our life. It changed our family structure.

I was jetlagged yet my brain wouldn't let me sleep. The wedding plans were floating in my mind. How easily I had found my dressed, then how hard it had been to find Anjali's. And now that I looked back at it my dress it no longer fit the wedding. Anjali's dress was so mesmerising my dressed would look like a simple maxi compared to it. Yes I wanted her to shine but I didn't want to look like a guess at my own wedding.

I know im late but its up yay!!!

Thank you everyone for your messages, i was fine just really busy with life.

Chapter 69- Change!

A pair of black leather brogues clicked on the hard marble floor. He ran as fast as his feet could take him, his heart pumping with anxiety, mind shifting through 100 thoughts. 'He had to get to his destination fast, what if something happened? She could be in trouble.' He regretted being at work today, he regretted leaving early, he regretted not listening to her words the night before. She was as stubborn as him, he had always known yet he had not taken her words seriously. The worst part was he didn't only have to think about her but also the unborn. How could he handle everything at once, he was only one man.

"With no brain" I shouted from behind, he's legs paused for a second had his wife just heard what he was thinking?' He then looked at his watch and the boarding gates. "Hurry up will you" Arnav shouted not looking back/

"I'm running as fast as I can" I shouted back at him.

"We're going to miss the flight" he held the back of his neck as he felt something hit it followed by another hit on his head.

"We wouldn't have to be getting on a flight right now if you hadn't said NO to her" I shouted at him again, he turned around to see an angry red faced wife standing a meter behind him, who was now out of breath. His eyes traced over the large white t-shirt I was wearing covering my swollen belly, down to the loss jeans than bear feet. The shoes were probable scattered somewhere on the floor near him after all his wife had aimed them at his head. He looked at me with an angry expression.

"I need you to walk faster" he said to me "not stand there and throw things at my head"

"I though losing some weight might help" I said sarcastically. He was just about to reply but saw the large clock hanging in the middle of the airport.

"Not the time" he said coming running towards me and lifting me up in one motion. He was running towards the boarding gate when I said pointing towards them

"My shoes"

"I'll get you new ones"

"Nooo" I shouted in his ears. He quickly turned back and slowly bents to pick them. I smiled as we ran towards the gate again. With him holding his 6 months pregnant wife arms and her royal blue shoes in his left hand. On lookers would have thought we were weird but we we're on a mission to get on the next flight to London.

Arnav sat me down in my seat once we got onto the plane, he then slowly bent down and put the shoes next to me. "Be right back" he said to me then walked off I closed my eyes and let myself finally process what was happening. Arnav and his sister had argues the night before when she had insisted on wanting to spend the summer in the UK after only a week in India. Arnav had been caught up by business deals and I had wished to complete my current cases so I could take a long maternity break. He didn't want her to go alone so they had a row and her dreams had been crushed. She had known the main reason she was refused was because she wanted to see Charlene. Yes she was still with him' well technically they were together for 3 years now and this 16 year old girl wanted some freedom and independence.

To prove a point the girl had decided to run away. We had walked into her room this morning only to find no one in it. Arnav had contacted a few of his allies and found out she had left for London alone, the night before. Now we were running behind her, we would be 12 hours behind once we got there but what mattered was that we would be with her.

I felt a tap on my shoulder my eyes slowly blinked open, I saw a glass of water being held in front of me seemed like my husband knew I was tried.
"Drink it" he said I smiled then took the glass he popped himself next to me once I was done and he had handed the glass back to the air hostess.

I placed my hand over his he instantly entangled our fingers and squeezed my hand he was worried I knew, scared for his sister, but I knew she was fine. Unlike him I knew my Anjali, the confident and independent girl who I knew better than any even herself. Her ever secret, fear, joy was my own and where she was now was her home. Somewhere she knew very well. I felt my eyes close again after a few minutes, exhaustion from morning drama had probable kicked in.

I had woken up after a few hours hearing an irritating noise. It sounded like someone's shoe annoyingly tapping on the floor. I rubbed my eyes open and looked at the guy next to me who had a sulking expression on his face. He was stressed I knew but he was ruining my sleep.

"Are you not sleepy?" I asked his head turned in my direction and he looked at me with a calm expression.

"You're up already? Go back to sleep long trip ahead"

"I would if I could" I said with a sarcastic smile.

"Why do you need something? Should I call the airhostess?" his hand reached for the button

"Yes, can you ask her to move my husband seat?"

"What!" his hand retreated back

"Yes, he's making so much noise that I can't sleep"

"Noise? What noise?" I looked down at his foot which he was still tapping "Oh sorry"

"She's fine you do know that right" there was no sarcasm in my voice.

"How am I meant to know? She's not in front of my eyes" the tone of his voice was slowly raising. There was no stopping this man soon he would erupt like a volcano.

"I want some orange juice" I said trying to change the subject. His expression softened and he got up to go get me a drink I observed his face it looked as if it had fallen more. Like he had got some new that wasn't great. He was blaming himself for the current situation we were in. I put my hand over his when he was in his seat again then asked if he was okay. I had seen a fake small smile on his face he was trying to reassure me but it wasn't going to work. I thought to keep him busy with a few more small requests. I was able to keep him busy for the next hour making him run back and forth for me. He was exhausted at the end he didn't even realise when he fell asleep in the seat next to me. I placed the blanket over him and watched him till my eyes gave way and sleep took over.

When I had opened my eyes in a few hours lucky for me he was still asleep. We only had a few minutes till we had to land which meant I wouldn't have to deal with Mr concerned for long now. We would find Anjali than all would be fine again.

When I had opened my eyes in a few hours lucky for me he was still asleep. We only had a few minutes till we had to land which meant I wouldn't have to deal with Mr Concerned for long now. We would find Anjali then all would be fine again.

"Ma'am seat belts" I squinted my eyes knowing that would have woken him up. Here we go again' his eyes popped open, the blanket he had wrapped around him fell to the ground. He squirmed in his seat till he was in an upright position with his eyes tracing around the room. He was more jumpy then he was when he had fallen asleep Great' I thought to myself, good luck kido'.

"What time is it? How long till we land?" He looked at his watch

"We are just about to land sir" the air-hostess said lowering his anxiety. I placed my hand over his, he looked at me and that was enough for him, our fingers entangled as we prepared ourselves for what was to come. We needed to find that girl and fast. A little part of me was scared inside I didn't show it but I had butterflies in my stomach nervous and scared about my kido.

As soon as the plane landed and my phone switched off airplane mode, my phone rang. KUNAL was flashing on my screen. I suddenly felt my breath hitch and the flutters increase.

"Arnav I need water"

"Now?" I nodded as a reply.

When he got up and went to get me a glass I quickly picked up Karan's call.

"Hello"

"Khush I been messaging you for ages, where have you been?"

"I was asleep" something then suddenly clicked in my head. "Wait, did you message Arnav?" his tone said it all.

"Yes! Why?" he asked I covered my head with my hand this was not great.'

"What happened?" I finally asked

"She not here!"

"WHAT!" I screamed my heart skipped a beat

"She landed in the UK, but then took another flight out, that's all I know so far, I don't know where she went" I suddenly felt a cold chill pass through my body. Where had she gone? Was she okay? Was she safe? Where would she go?' A million questions were probable passing my mind that minute. I didn't know where she was or what she was doing she was meant to be in the place where she could have possible been safe.

"Khushi" my mind finally paused when I had seen my husband. He must have read my face because the next minute he was beside me. He didn't ask me what was wrong he just bought the glass near my mouth. My expression said it was to do with our angel he knew very well. "She's going to be fine" he whispered to me. I wish I could have believed his words I was now debating whether I had made the right decision by letting him sleep throughout the flight. If he was in constant contact with Aman like usual he would have known by now where she was, what she was doing?

"We need to get off now" he said slowly helping me up from my seat. We headed of the plane and into the airport he was holding me but I was shaking inside, I felt like my legs would give way. The emotions I was feeling were so unexplainable: terror, concern, unease, and nauseating all missed together. We probable passed 100s of people and 100 of bags walking half the airport. But it all flashed pass me as if I didn't even realise when we reached the front of the airport

"Arnav I need something to eat" I said seeing the exit door

"Not now" he said continuing to walk

"NO NOW" I shouted he hadn't even looked at his phone since we landed. He was taking me out to go look for her did he even realise we needed to find her, we needed to get onto another flight. He was so worried when we were on the plane why was he relaxed now?' Being here didn't mean we would find her. I now wanted her in front of my eyes and in my arms.

"We're getting late and your giving me mood swings"

"Mood Swings?" I raised an eyebrow

"Yes"

"Excuse me maybe you have not realised but I'm in this condition because of you? Just like you didn't realise you're meant to check your phone. You're meant to find out where my kido is. You haven't realised that maybe she's not in the UK" I shouted with tears dropping down my face. He stared at me with a calm expression just watching me speak as if he knew. The next moment he received a smack on his chest "where is she?" his relax body language should had told me that he not only knows where she is but that whatever the place is she's safe.

"We need to leave the arrivals tunnel and get to departures."

"That's not answering my questions."

"Gibraltar" I could finally breathe a sigh of relief after hearing where she was.

"When did you find out?" I said

"I'll answer all your questions later for now can we please get moving" he requested ushering me towards the exit.

If she was there I knew in my heart I had nothing to worry about she was safer there then she was in London. That was our home away from home our safe haven. A place where everyone knew us, people there had known my girl since she was 12 there was no way they would let anything happen to her. I still remember how they had thrown us a small party after our honeymoon. If was like a family event, everyone on the island had cooked a dish and they had made the chief guest my angel. She was fed that day like she had never been before. Everyone wanted her to approve their dish, everyone want to dance with her, and everyone wanted to make her smile. I had sat that day watching my girl have the time of her life. Receiving all the attention and love she deserved from what the world would call strangers. Little did they know they would give there life to protect this girl.

After that day she had become another child on that island, she looked forward to every holiday, every small get away and she loved just hearing the name Gibraltar. RUN AWAY' how I had not thought of it before. She had always found that location a great place to escape. There was more to this than I could understand at the moment. There were now a few other questions running in my mind.

Once on our second plane I had gone to freshen up while Arnav prepared himself for the storm he knew was about to hit him. He shut his eyes and relaxed he had nearly lost his voice after shouting at Aman earlier that afternoon. When I was asleep he had checked his phone constantly that's when he has received a message from KUNAL which read:

SHE'S NOT IN LONDON

He shouted at Aman wanting prompt answer to where his sister was. He had told him to get all his sources together and his resources he wanted to know where she was as quick as possible. He had not raised his voice while near his wife but the anxiety had resulted in him tapping his foot.

When asked by his wife to go get a glass of orange juice he had taken it as a excuse to checked his phone. He spoke to the air hostess for a minute and used her phone to call Aman. He had ignored his wife's questions when asked if he was okay. The last thing he wanted was to stress her out. He had run back and forth for what looked like his wife's little demands but what he was really doing was hiding his face, and checking his phone every time he got up. Waiting for an email to let him know what was going on. In the next few minutes he had received what he had been waiting for, she was currently on a plane to Gibraltar. A small smile had appeared on his face that second, he picked up the nuts his wife had requested and threw them in the air. He would have screamed if not for the women he loved, who currently needed to stay relaxed. If he had told her where her angel was she would have insisted on making a few calls to make sure the house was ready for her arrival. But Anjali didn't need anyone's help on that island she knew exactly what she needed to do. He picked up a new packed of nuts and headed back to his wife then closed his eyes. Only after receiving that information was he able sleep.

---

I took my roomy seat then turned to my dear husband who had known for quite some time now that our angel was in Gibraltar. Our home where the people would probably fatten her up and watch over her like hawks. No harm could ever come to her there. The gossip queens were at it day and night. Nothing and no one could be hidden from them. But they sure knew how to hid things themselves, if they wanted they could even hid my kido after all they loved her more than me. Just like another person who had hid things from me.

"When did you find out?" I asked after I had freshen up and taken a minute to calm my mind.

"Hmm" he said opening his eyes and looking at me

"When?" I didn't sound happy

"A few hours ago"

"How many hours ago?"

"Before I fell asleep, so probable 5 hours ago" he shrugged his shoulders.

I suddenly felt rage building up inside me he knew and didn't tell me "I was worried sick"

"No you weren't" he said reclining his seat

"Are you trying to say I don't worry for my girl?"

"No, I'm saying you have more faith in that girl then I do. You knew she was fine where ever she was unlike me!!" he got up a little and said to me.

"Knowing she was in Gibraltar would have changed things? " I asked

"Yes it would have" he leaned back into his chair and closed his eyes

"What?" I said hitting his chest. "Other than the fact that I wouldn't have to stress"

"You would have called your contacts and ask them to keep a watch on her" he said getting up."

"WRONG!" I shouted

"You asked Kunal to be at the airport ready for her arrival" he said with a serious face.

"She was going to be running around London we both know that's unsafe. Gibraltar however..." he cut me off

"Is your haven" he completed my sentence

"Yeah" I said looking away from him.

My haven but what was her reason for going there? What did she need to do there?' My mind was probable thinking what was bugging her. I knew my kiddo but there was more to this run then what appeared. At first we thought she ran to go see Charlene but she didn't even try to see him, he probable didn't even know she wasn't in India. My mind played their argument in my head, the words thrown at each other by both Raizarda siblings.

"Your so out of order"

"This is what right for you"

"You're only saying that because you don't want me to see him."

"I'm saying this because it's for your own good"

"Bhai I want to go"

"You're not old enough"

"I'm 16 for goodness sake"

"16, still a kid"

"I'm NEARLY an ADULT"

"Yes nearly, you're not an adult yet!"

She had stormed out the room slamming the door behind her. I had not interrupted the argument because both had sat me down and shut me up by putting a finger on their mouths. No matter how much they argued I was there main concern I had been forced to sit back and watch the two people I loved the most in the world argue unable to interrupt or solve their problem. I could now see the struggle in their eyes. A struggle every father goes through when having to trust another with his daughter and a daughter trying to gain some independence for herself.

As an alternative she had stolen that independence, one could say escaped and we were now chasing after this free bird. I would be crazy if I even though of putting the bird back into her cage.

As we grow up we see the protection that has always been in our lives as bars caging us in and the love a chain holding us down. We start to reject everything going on around us, we wish to break free. We want to think for ourselves, make our own choices, our own mistakes and show the world what were capable of. We no longer want to live under others names we rather establish our own name. Be recognised, be somebody. Have the respect everyone else has, the freedom everyone else has.

Asking for this is like asking to lose our childhood. The childhood we try so hard to always hold on to. The time we miss once it's gone. The time we wish we could ask to come back. It's the time that's gone in a flash. The time you wish you could extend for your kids, for your siblings. The memories we create become precious, the most precious moments in one's life.

Anjali was never held down she had always been given the freedom to make her own choices. Arnav and I had always been there to guide her in the right direction as guardians and friends by her side always. We laughed with her, we joked with her we were kids with her and grownups when needed. We had always tried to maintain the balance. Just like other parents would have' I thought to myself. Yes our family was unique but we were still like older than her, we saw things in a different light to what she did, we may have given her more freedom than others would have. But we would never be able to see the world through her eyes. Ever generation has their own struggles their own desires. Ones that may not be understood, but as time moves forward and the world changes people revolve to fit into the new world.

Chapter 68- epil part 1

Wedding on beach

My eyes were closed, my breath held, my ears blocked, the noises in the adjoining room faded and my body was still. It felt as if my senses had been blocked. My nerves were not reacting, no blood was being pumped around my body. I felt as if I couldn't feel a thing, why? I could have taken a wild guess.

Today was supposed to be the most important day of my life, the most important moment of my life. A once in a life time moment, the moment every girl dreams about, the day her life has lead up to, when she lives one of her biggest dreams.

Priya stood behind me tying up my dress. My white wedding dress on my wedding day.' My breath hitched for a second as those words passed my mind an unknown fear passed through me. I suddenly felt a cold breeze surround me. There was a flutter in my stomach, one I had never felt before. Why did my mind feel cloudy? why did I feel a unexplainable exhaustion?

All of a sudden a warm hand was placed on my arms. "Calm down Khushi, it's just nerves" I heard a familiar voice. My breath must have hitch and body shivered for her to realize what was going on in my mind. She was right I was just nervous like any other bride.

But why now?' all morning I had been fine. From the moment the sun had risen everything had been planned to perfection. I had been woken up by soft JAZZ played on Priya's phone. It had been a beautiful soothing wake up call. She had been in the room next to mine. We had stayed at the best hotel on the Island with the other wedding guest who had arrived.

Arnav had ensures our privacy was not compromised and our secret location would always remain a secret by keep everything far away from the apartment. We had also wanted everyone on the Island not to speak about our home and Momo was more than happy to insure that this plan was implemented. After all she was the best person to spread news with the help of her gossiping squad. There were always some benefits of knowing the gossip queen.

Priya had handed me a big bunch of beautiful red roses after I had come out of the shower. It didn't have a note with it, truthfully it was not required. It didn't take a genius to know who sent it. The wedding party and I then had a lovely surprise breakfast on the courtyard. Sitting on the lush green grass, our table over looked the stormy morning ocean waves. It felt relaxing, I had felt calm and composed as if my mind was at peace. We had tea with a range of baked goods, some of my favourite treats for a truly sweet breakfast. The other girls had insisted they wouldn't eat. Not wanting to put on any last minute weight there main concern had been to fit into their dresses. I had been the only one who had actually stuffed herself loving every slice. No one could change the fact that I loved food.

"Savaging your last moment of freedom are you?" One of my friend's had commented.

"No she's gaining energy for later"

"After all Arnav won't let her rest today"

"Shut up!" I had shouted only having to be a victim of more teasing.

My angel was the only one I had missed at that moment. There were treats she would have loved and ones she would have made faces at. I had called a member of the hotel staff and after putting some of her favourite slices on a plate asked then to send them to her room at the hotel across the street where the groom's side had been staying. I had wanted her to stay with me but Arnav had won the discussion he got to keep his sister which meant I was alone with my friends and he had our angel.

The next few hours had flown by I spent time with my guest who had arrived from London and India. It had been so good to see so many well-wishers. I hadn't even known most of them were coming. It had surprised me every time I saw a face I knew so well yet never expected to see. Arnav had planned the whole wedding so I had very little idea of what was happening throughout the days.

Arnav was running on the beach in his blue t-shirt and Karki shorts with a bunch of white and red flowers in his hand he shouted at the florist from a few meters away.

"Can you please put those here?" The young lady smiled at him the moved one of the large floral designs.

"Boy the aisle is ready, would you like to take a look?" The elderly florist asked.

He ran across the dinning area and put his arms around her. "I would love to" he told her with a big smile. She had been really helpful to him he was a new to the wedding planning concept and this elderly lady had seen many grooms like him. All who had tired to planning something special for their to be partners. But their had only been a handful who had planned the whole wedding. She didn't mind sharing her expect knowledge with them. She had done that with Arnav shared with him everything he would have needed to know she even advised him on sending a Bouquet to the bride in the morning.

Arnav don't have many worries about the wedding he may have been stressed like any other groom however he knew he had a good team working with him. The elderly florist was just one of the wonderful people helping him. The chefs, decorator, makeup artist were just a few more names, people from this small Island who he had grown to admire. They were all more than willing to help, doing it for their little girl. Who said we didn't have anyone with us. Sometime strangers filled the gaps. In this lonely world their were people who cared who stepped up for others. They may have not been able to fill the hollowness in our hearts but were still trying.

He moved his gaze to look at the arch in front of him the one that had been created for his wedding. "Beautiful" the words that left his lips he smiled to himself knowing they were the exact words he would be saying to his lady love today. He stared at the arch he couldn't help but compare how perfect it was for his girl. Four bamboos were positioned in a box shape, joint together at the top by another four bamboos. Like a pillar his Khushi held him and Anjali up in life. It had soft white curtains loosely wrapped around them, it was delicately flattering in the wind, like his girl who flew freely without a care in the world. No matter how much the breeze blew she stood there letting her beauty shine. At the ends of the poll were white orchards hanging down vines adding an enhancing touch to the design. It was spreading its smell like his Khushi's fragrance spread on others. No frills, no extras were needed naturally beautiful!

He smiled then turned to the reception area. Everything was almost set yet he still felt something was missing. The sun was at its peak he was sweating in his shirt but leaving the place was not something he could get himself to do. This day was more than a dreams he had practically lived it for years. Now that it was here he wanted to embrace every second of it. The moment felt so surreal he stood there watching over everything convincing himself it was really happening. He looked up at the sky thanking the all mighty he knew somewhere in his heart that this day would not have been possible if things had not set up the way they did. He could never have predicted the unpredictable circumstances. His eyes shut in appreciation in thanks to the turn out of his life. Things had fallen perfectly into place.

A sudden soft breeze brushed his face leading a few petals placed beside him to scatter across the beach waking him from his trance. Arnav eyes slowly traced over the tables laid out on the beach. In just a few hours the place would be full with people from all aspects of his life; some old friends, some new. His eyes traced over each table setting, each representing a different time in his life, a different moment he had spent with his girl, thinking about his girl or dreaming of his girl. For him these tables represented his progress in life, their progress. He couldn't wait for the new stage of his life to begin.

My hands trances down the pleats of my dress it flowed beautifully without dragging on the floor. Sand would not ruin the bottom or the dress. The pleats felt smooth running against my fingers the soft fabric was so light I would be able to enjoy the cold breeze throughout the evening. My hands moved up to the embroidery on my waist I could feel the exquisite design, the detail was the icing on the cake for the dress created with small applique flowers including mild bead work. It was a little fitted at that part of my dress enough to give shape yet not soft the soft free flow of the outfit. It had a surplice neckline with verticals pleats a small bit lace preventing any cleavage from showing. I straightened my sleeves the lace was so soft felt like nothing was there which meant I wouldn't get hot and it also meant I was certain that my dress would stay in place all day. I could enjoy the whole day as I wished. I felt a cold gust hit my back from the open balcony my low back was cover with delicate lace detail. It was the highlight of the dress running till my neck giving me a back collar and creating the cupped lace sleeves. There was a line of small white buttons that ran down the centre of my back completing the look of the dress.

My eyes fluttered open I looked up in the mirror to see the final look. I inhaled a large breath suddenly feeling more anxious than I was. I had never seen myself like this the surreal feeling that had never left was awaken again. My hand clenched shut as a fear overwhelmed me. I could see a wedding aisle in my head a lifetime together came with responsibilities, struggles and hardships. I quickly shut my eyes Arnav face passed through my mind. I let out the breath I wasn't aware I was holding. We had already faced many hardships and struggles together.' I knew we could get through this. My heart beat slowly steadied he was my strength, my love. We already had the best responsibility in our life our angel and thankfully at the moment we were doing fine. Nothing was going to change other than us being an official couple in front of the world and my name. I smiled to myself knowing he was going to love that.

Anjali span in her new dress loving the volume of her bridal dress. Arnav entered his sister bedroom with a small box in his hand.

"Kiddo I have a gift for you" he shouted closing the door behind him.

A smile formed on his face His little sister had grown up!' He thought as he saw the beautiful girl in front of him. Dressed in a sleeveless dress, the top of the dress covered with small white appliqu work shaped as daisy he assumed it was a white dress till his eyes landed on the silky brown sash on her waist. The appliqu flowers continued down a waist in a small triangle designed. The dress had puffed at her waist giving her a younger look. The bottom of the dress was an off white- light brown colour. It end below the knees just like he would have liked. He had to applause his girls for choosing this dress he now understood why it had taken so long to find the dress it had to be perfect. Which it was!

"Gift what is it?" She asked coming running to her brother. He quickly hid the box behind his back.

"Not so fast"

"Bhai" she whined trying to get the box from behind Arnav.

"Anji" he shouted "will you please stand still for two seconds so I can see how my angel looks?" He put the box down on a table near the door and pulled Anjali so he could get a good look at her. She made a face not liking that she was being held down. He pulled the sides of her lips with his fingers making her look as though she was smiling. Her nose flares seeing his amused expression.

"Bhaaai" she tried to say with her mouth stretched. He laughed at her and let her go.

"Your look beautiful just like the angel you are."

"Really! I love this dress" she said spinning once again in the dress. "Love these flowers" her hands slid down the side played with them. "Now what's my gift?" She moaned at him

He turned and picked up the box from the table. When she went to grab the box he pulled it back. "Not so quick first you have to do a job for me?"

"What?" She asked He smirked then whispered something in her ear. "What!" She shouted "how am I meant to do that?"

"I got you a phone, put it to good use" he suggested

"Bhai your not meant to see her"

"But I want to"

"Then get someone else to do that" she recommended.

"I tried she hadn't come out of her bedroom yet. So the waiters were unsuccessful"

"Same" she laughed at him. "Now you'll just have to wait" she said

"Fine then no gift for you" he turned to look the other way.

"Bhaaai" she whined "that's not fair it was for me".

"So, your not getting it till you do my job. It would have looked great with your dress." He smirked looking down at the door knob.

"Fine I'll do your job for you."

He turned to look at her again with a big smile while opening the small black velvet box. Inside was a vintages style silver tiara.

"Wow that's amazing" she was about to pick it up "but won't suit my dress, I'm not wearing this" she put it back down.

"What! It will look great"

"No it won't"

"Kiddo an your our angel this will help you look like one" he tried to put it on her head.

She laughed at him "no!" She shaved his hand away laughing at his confusion. "You just called me an angel and angels don't wear tiaras. Bhai it will ruin my look it's hot outside I should wear a flowery headband not tiara."

"Anji I didn't know how your dress looked how was I meant to know what went with it"

"That's not my fault"

"Kiddo come on please"

"No I'm not doing the job anymore"

"But I got you such a nice gift if not today you can wear it another day" she thought for a second. "Please kiddo" he said with a small face.

"She's going to find out" Anjali said

"No she won't" he tried to say with confidence.

"She knows us to well she'll figure it out"

"Maybe"

"Bhai I'll be in trouble" she wined

"No you won't I'll take the blame on myself."

"like that ever works" she said under her breath.

He turned her to face the mirror and put the tiara an inch above her head not wanting to mess up her hair. "Doesn't that look pretty" she took it out of his hands and nodded. "Great then get my job done" he said leaving the room.

"Bhai" he turned back to look at her she ran up to him and gave him a hug. "Congratulation!" He hugged her back "I'm so happy for you" he kissed the top of her forehead

"I'm happy for us" a gentle smile form on his lips, he may not been able to express his feeling but he knew his heart felt content, please

Unknown to them there was someone standing outside the room listening in to their conversation. He pulled out his phone and sent quick message.

The door to my room slid open as two of my friends pulled on either side of the sliding French doors. 'Ohhs' and 'Ahhs' is all I could hear as I walked into the adjoining living room. "Wow Khushi you look amazing"

"Fabulous"

"This dress looks so good on you"

"Arnav's going to drop dead today"

"Doesn't she look like the perfect bride?"

"Priya my veil" I said trying to stay composed.

She went in my room and brought out a simple straight floor length chiffon veil she slid the pin in my head and bunched it little in the middle. The veil flowed down till my ankle the bunch not blocking the design at the back of my dress. The look was complete but I wouldn't know how it really looked till I saw it through Arnav's eyes.

"Now time for our gift" one of them said picking up a gift bag. I already guessed what would have been inside. These girls were very cheeky I took the bag and acted surprise when I saw the contents in the bag they probable thought it had everything a married women needs to impress her husband. They were probable thinking I'll turn red but I was prepared for this I just smiled and thanked then closing the bag.

"Wait won't you were the garter"

"Do I have to?" I asked

"Yes!" They all shouted I pulled the white lacy garter and slid it on my leg with Priya's help. "Who's that?" One of the girls had said after hearing the knock on the door.

"I'll check" Priya went to open the door.

"It's Anjali" she shouted after opening the door slightly.

"Close the door" I shouted jumping off the couch I was sitting on and running towards the door to close it before she got in.

"What?" Priya looked at me

"Close the door"

"But..."

"Fast" I shouted

"What the" I heard kido shout from the other side of the door. "Let me in"

"You have to wait Kido" I shouted

"Khushi why did you do that" one of them asked

"Can you go get my phone?" I asked one of the girls who brought it back in seconds.

I sent a THANKYOU message then heard Anjali shout again. the girls stared at me with bewildered expression.

"Can I come in now? I been waiting her for ages"

"No way kiddo"

"What the... Why not?"

"I know what's in your hand" she looked down at the phone in her hand

"There's nothing in my hand" she said unsure what I could have guessed.

"I know what you and your brother are up to. Cut the video call with him and put the phone in your bag. Only then will anyone let you in"

"WHAT THE!" she shouted amazed that I had guessed what she was up to.

"She's sounding more like him day by day" Priya said I just gave her a big smile. After hearing Anjali's 'what the' "How do you know she had a phone in her hand. I'm sure you don't them that well" she spoke as we walked towards the sofa at the other side of the room.

"I been living with them for so long know they would be up to something, so I had warned Aman" I laughed than turned to look back at the door. It was to quite outside something wasn't right I knew. I was right I looked in the corner and saw Anjali hiding behind a flower pot. I looked at Priya with and disappointing look. "You didn't lock the door" I said. "Kido don't you dare show him the pictures."

She sniggered behind the vase "Come out missy"

"How did you know I was here?"

"I know you to well" I smiled at her while one of the girls ran to her and took the phone. "You take any pictures?" she just nodded to stunned by my look to speak it seemed. "Did you send them?" She shook her head in a no

"Why?" My smile only grew

"I'm on your side" I opened my hands wide for her. "You look amazing" she said after running into my arms for a hug.

"So do you my angel" I loved how the dress looked on her it was better than I could have imagined, her hair was left open on her sides she looked beautiful without any makeup.

"You look perfect" she pulled back from the hug. "Bhai's going to faint today" she said making me smile. I straighten up a little bit of her dress. Making sure the sash was straight than fixed her hair letting it rest straight on her shoulders.

My protective instinct made me cover a bit of her shoulders. I may have loved this dress on her knowing it as perfect but she was still young and didn't need the attention at 13. "You know he tried to bribe me today?" She said as I continued with my work.

"How else would he have convinced you against me? So what did he get you?" I asked

"A tiara! It was so beautiful studded with small crystals all over the front. I loved it!" She said with excitement

"But?" I knew there must have been more to the story.

"He wanted me to wear it with this dress" She said laughing "it doesn't even go with my dress."

"Your need a flower Head garland"

"That's what I said"

"Trust him to do something silly like that's" we both laughed

"He's a guy what do you expect" one of my friends said. I didn't reply after all I was very well aware of what my lard governor was capable of. The next second I heard a knock on the door. Priya opened it and saw an elderly lady with a huge box.

"The bouquet" she said she walked pass me with a big smile on her face "congratulation" she said I saw her eyes shining with love I wanted to give her a hug but knew the other were not meant to know that I knew everyone on this island. She picked up the first bouquet of white orchids and handed it to me. "A gift from your love" she said. Her words sounded so soft as if filled with pride. I could only imagine how much Arnav had worked over the last week to impress everyone. She couldn't resistance gave me a hug "your are the most beautiful bride I have ever seen. He's in for a shock today" she whispered. It felt as if it the whole island that had I braced me into their warms arms. "My wishes are with you" she pulled back from the hug that felt so warm. She then turned to Anjali she smiled then picked up a white fresh flower head garland it matched perfectly with her dress. "You didn't think he would forget you did you?" She put it on her head then let me fix her hair.

"Guess he's not that useless" the girls said.

"He surely is not" Priya said picking her bouquet

"I'll take my leave" she left after one last glance towards me she was probable going to tell the whole island how I looked after all she was the first to see me.

"We should go to" some of the girls said. I only had two bridesmaids the others were just sitting and enjoying with us. They opened the door only to be greeted by Akash at the door.

"Hi" he said they looked down at the tray in his hand and screamed in excitement. Akash moved it before they could take any. He walked pass them and towards me. "This is for you" he said showing me the tray of small cupcakes the message layer out made me smile. Small white cupcake Each had a word on it and small white pearls. It read 'I CANT WAIT TO SAY I DO'. I smiled than took the 'do' and gave Anjali the 'say' seconds later the cake was gone. The girls left after they had stuffed their faces "Anjali you need to get going now" she nodded. I looked at her not quite ready to let her go. I bent down a little and gave her a hug. The next time I would see her I knew our relationship would be seconds away from changing.

"See you soon" she gave me a peck on my cheek than left with my two bridesmaids.

"Shall we" he put his arm out for me to take. I smiled at him and nodded it was time I thought. He opened the door for me and we walked out.

"Payal had dreamt of this day many times" he spoke softly. I looked up at him shocked that he was bring up this topic, I felt like small kid about to hear a fairy-tale.

"She did?" I asked he nodded.

"We spoke about it often, she had planned so much of you" I smiled remembering how Payal and I would talk about our wedding days as kids. "She planned to move back home with you to help you plan. She even argued with me once when I said I wouldn't let her go" he said laughing. "It was her dream to see you in this dress" my eyes lowed focused on the hotel carpet.

"I wish she could..." He cut me off

"She did!" I looked at him confused. "The day you went wedding shopping with us, you modelled a wedding dress for her than posed with Karan." I smiled remembering how she was so cranky that day. She didn't like anything so made us try on the outfits to give her a better idea. We stepped into the lift he continued talking after the doors shut.

"When you went back to the changing room she cried telling me how beautiful you looked. That was the moment she had realised her little sister was all grown up." He reached into his pocket with his free hand and pulled out elegant bangle bracelet watch the inner cloak had a light blue finish. "Your something borrowed and blue"

"She had bought this for herself" I said staring down at it, he lifted my hand and put it on.

"The watch deserves to fulfil its purpose and walk down the aisle" He said I took in a big breath trying to compose my tears.

"Would have loved to have her here today" I said "would have loved to have them all here." We stepped out of the elevator and walked through the empty lobby. The hotel was mainly booked for us and I guess all were at the ceremony.

"They would be proud of you. Proud seeing the women you have become. You have done so well for yourself and for your family. The smile I see on Anjali's face says it all." We stepped out of the hotel on the white pebble walkway. We were getting close to the beach where the ceremony was supposed to be take place.

"Your mum may have wanted you to marry Kunal" he smiled at the through. "But your dad knew you were always Arnav's. Khushi he had seen himself waking you down the Aisle before seeing Payal. He even trusted Arnav more than me." He laughed I could hear a bit of jealousy in his tone. We stopped reaching our destination he let go of my hand and faced me.

"He had faith in your relationship and in your love. Your where your meant to be at this moment Khushi. Your destiny is waiting for you, the future they saw." He gave me a small hug and peck on my forehead.

"Thank you" I whispered before he walked of. It took me a few seconds after he left for me to compose myself. I smiled feeling a few tear drops at the end of my eyes.

Aman patted my back as I kept my eyes glued to the white tent which had been placed at the bottom of the aisle to give the bridal party a few seconds to prepare before they entered. "Ready man"

"Yes" I answered

"Akash's is not here yet"

"He's with Khushi give him a few seconds" the next moment Akash walked out of the tent and greeted me. I could see that his eyes were cloudy. A little part of me was having second thought on my decision maybe I had made a mistake sending him to talk with her. But deep down I knew it was needed. He was the only one who could represent her family he was the invisible link he knew how they would be feeling if they were here today. After all he was about to be part of the family.

"She's good" Akash said to me I nodded thanking him for his help. I knew she needed someone to talk to her she missed them today more than anyone just like I missed my mum. She had been the only one who was looking forward to this wedding. She would have loved to see me standing here she would have probable told me to fix my lose tie I smiled at the thought. More than me she probable would have been interested in Khushi's outfit. She was her favourite. She would have taken Anjali over to Khushi's hotel and got her ready herself.

"Arnav" Kunal came up to me and put his hand out. "Congratulation" he said as we shook hands

"Thanks"

"Ready to take my bride" he Laughed

"When was she ever your?" Arnav raised an eyebrow

"Probable never" he said then nodding his head. "Always was your, will always remain. Yours!" He said we had a manly hug before he walked of. My eyes glanced around the beach the hundreds of chairs that had been placed for guests were all full. What I hadn't expected was half the island to join. Everyone was standing at the ends of the rows and behind the chairs. People wanted to be here, to wish his bride. Wish them the best for the future they were about to start together. This home away from home had shown him more love than his own family had in the past. It wasn't just a home in a discrete island. It was a home where you had a family away from your family.

"Bro" Aman said to me I looked up from and saw he was indicating towards the tent. It was time!

I could feel the atmosphere change, everything quietened around me, the air suddenly felt cooler. I could feel my feet getting cold inside my shoes and Goosebumps appearing on my arms. The first one to appear was Khushi old school friends she was dress in a yellow bridesmaids dress. He still remembered how his girl had complain about how the girls had refused to wear flats even though they knew they would be walking on sand, which resulted in her having to get them back up shoes very well aware of their stupid decision. His girl always had a back-up plan.

She was followed by Priya who had a huge smile on her face. She was proud she had kept us two together over the last two years. Discreetly telling the other how their love was. She had unconsciously been our saviour. We were more thankful to her then she would ever know. She winked at me before going to stand on the side. After her came my sister She looked beautiful in the vintage style princess dress. Khushi had picked an angel dress for our angel. She was supposed to be as big as the stars of the show today. This was not only mine and Khushi's big day, it was special for the three of us. We were a family not individuals. This day may typically be for a couple but for us it was incomplete without her. She was well aware of this fact after all the last few days we had never failed to remind her of this. She walk down the aisle with a bouquet of flowers in her hand and fresh flower garland I had sent for her on her head. A huge smile on her face it was true what they said kids are pure her smile projected the happiness in my heart. I could even see my mother's eyes shining through hers. My mother was living through her it was something I never understood till now. The pride in her eyes said it all. I felt an elbow nudge in my stomach from my sister as she came and stood beside me. I knew she wanted to tease me but my eyes were once again on the tent.

The curtains slowly slid open on both sides. I could feel my breath getting stuck in my throat. My eye froze on the women who had just appeared.

My heart beat slowed I could feel my legs wanting to give way. I had seen her many times before but never like this. Dressed in an elegant white flowing wedding dress she looked enchanting. Her skin looked softer than usual. The dress looked as though it was just touching her. His stunning girl didn't look like his. This girl looked like a fairy out of princess book. He would have thought it wasn't his Khushi if not for the radiant smile on her face. Her smile was the one he had always known, the one he had always loved to see. He could do anything to see that smile on her face and he knew he would continue to do so.

A word suddenly passed his mind as he watched his bride. He didn't know when the word slipped from his mouth. "Beautiful" once the words left his mouth he saw his loves face change colour. Her cheeks brighten with a blush one he hardly got to see. He couldn't help but wink at her after seeing a blushing Khushi. He smirked seeing her trying to keep a serious expression so people wouldn't know what he was up to.

Her steps were slowly getting closer the distance between them was decreasing. There was only one word flashing in his mine 'MINE' in just a few minutes she would officially be his forever! He couldn't help but feel proud that second. If he hadn't already been standing proud he now was. 'Mine, mine only mine' forever

Akash's word had truly helped me. They had comforted me, set my heart at peace and I was more grateful to him then he could have imagined. He had always been family, my parents had considered him their own from the day his and Payal's wedding was set. Looking back now I could see why my parent always gave him so much respect it wasn't because he was the son in law but it was because he had earned it. Deep down he cared for others, He was mature and understanding. He was perfect for not only the family but Payal to. She would never have found a partner better than Akash. My eyes shut for a second as I prayed, he one day found his happiness.

I took in a deep breath as the curtains began to open. My head was bowed looking down at the floor as I felt a weird feeling in my stomach. The soft sand was my aisle for the day. My head slowly lifted and eyes glanced ahead. The first thing I saw was the arch way created, soft netted fabric fluttering in the wind. My eyes then landed on the one standing in front of it.

Standing there in all his glory was my man. His face only portrayed love. Eyes shining like never before as he tried to savour the moment. I didn't miss the small tear drop on the side of his eye. His forehead and nose had no wrinkles, which meant no stress and no anger a carefree mind like I had once known. I smiled seeing the big smile on his face the happiness unmatchable. Dressed in; a white shirt with the rolled up sleeves, a loss tie and just a cream waistcoat over his cream trousers.

Sanding there was not ASR but my Arnav. The boy I had fell in love with, the one I had known for year. The one I understood more than myself. Who with just a glance knew what I felt. He was not only my companion, my soul mate, my best friend but my strength.

Whose presence made every hardship easy. I could fight any battle that we came across if I had his company. Every step I had taken towards him in the pass had made me stronger. Now every step I was taking towards him was going to strengthen our relationship.

I saw him lip a word to me "beautiful" never had I blushed the way I did that second. My cheeks burned up and tinted I could feel it. I never thought such a simple word could make me feel so many butterflies in my stomach. The next moment he shocked me by winking at me. I tried hard to keep a composed face and not show others how shocked I was. I smiled to myself knowing the cheeky Raizarda would never change. He was and always will be a child on the inside.

I stopped in front of him the Next few minutes were probable the most important of our life but it felt as if they passed in a flash. My eyes in his, my breath held, my heart beat slow. I could see a ocean of emotion in his eyes, but most of all love. I could see the love that I had in a young 17 year old boy. And now in the 24 year old. The boys heart was still the same, the emotion had only grown.

I heard the Priest words and saw Arnav's eyes light up, he reached for my hand and held it his promises were made now it was my turn. It felt as if my voice was lost, something stuck in my throat stopping me from speaking. My eyes had moved to the floor, what was probable a second felt like a lifetime. I felt a squeeze on my hand and looked at it. The warmth I felt that moment was indescribable could, it felt as though they were their to always protect me. I looked up into his eyes and made my promises.

Since Anjali had moved in with me there were very few occasions when she had cried but today she couldn't help but let tears slip from her eyes. The excitement inside of her was uncontainable. After patiently waiting 5 years she was witnessing her dream had finally come true. The two people she loved the most in this world were getting married. Aman hear a sniffer and smiled at Anjali's small tears, he pulled out a hanky and tapped her shoulder to get her attention. "tears don't suit you" he bent over to whisper in her ear.

When I felt him squeeze my hand I realised it was all over. I was officially his. We were now officially each other's. 'Till death do us apart' those words rang in my head. It all felt surreal but it was true I had done it I had said lived my dream, lived our dream.

"Congratulation Mrs Raizarda" he whispered in my ear just before Anjali came to give me a hug.

"Congratulation Khushi" she said

"Kiddo" I could hear Arnav fake angry tone.

"Ops" she looked at her brother "I mean..." She took a small pause then looked at me "Bhabhi" That made Arnav smile.

Priya was the next to congratulate me and Aman Arnav.

"Thanks Aman" I said and gave him a radiant smile for this mornings text. He had always indirectly help me when he was with Arnav, like today when he found out about the siblings plans. I knew I had many years of his great friendship ahead.

My eyes then glanced around the tens of the white chairs with yellow ribbons that had been placed for the guest. I thought it was a small event but I had thought wrong. After all my lovely island friends had joined me doubling the guest list. What was I expected? I asked myself. They were standing behind the chairs and beside the ends of the rows. I could see huge smiles on their faces making want to run and give then all a hug.

"Khushi" Arnav whispered in my ear I turned to look at him. "Go see your guest" he had done it again read what I was thinking. He had read my eyes like always.

"They're our guest" I said, he wrapped our fingers together and proceeding towards them.

"Can you all join us on the other side of the beach pre reception refreshments" Aman shouted loud enough for all the hear. I stood where I was and met a few people. Arnav stayed by my side the whole time. I was shocked at the fact that he didn't complain. 'Had my Arnav suddenly become patient' I asked myself.

"We'll see you in a few minutes" Momo said.

"Let's go" Arnav said pulling me the opposite direction to where the guest had gone. I followed him without saying a word. My eyes focused on his straight face I didn't have to look ahead I trusted him enough to guide me.

He looked down at my face while walking than continued looking ahead. "What?"

"When did you become so patient?" I asked with a cheeky smile.

"When I married a highly tempered girl" I smacked his arm.

"Hey I'm not high tempered, you are"

"The world thinks that, now it's time they know who's really the tempered one is."

"Arnav"

"Isn't it custom that after marriage the wife cannot call her husband with her name?"

"That's rubbish" I answered "I'm not giving you a nick name"

"Than what does LG count as" he raised an eyebrow

I smiled at him " I don't mind using that, but would you like it if I walking into one of our meeting calling you a 'lard governor'?" He made a weird face. "Thought so"

"Are you not going to ask where we're going?" He asked me

"No! You patiently waited for me, I can patiently wait to find out where we're going."

"You trust me that much?"

"I give you the respect you give me"

"Then you will never stop giving me respect. Because i have unmeasurable respect for the women I love." He put his arm around waist pulling me close. "For my wife"

"Then you must be the only man in this world."

"Maybe, but I'm sure some men respect their wives"

"LG if you look at the crime rate you can see the amount of men who don't respect their wives or women in general. I've came across so many cases." Even-though I thought I was lucky I knew at the bottom of my heart there will be times when we won't agree with each other, when we would argue and fight. When we won't give the respect the other deserves. Times when one can lose control of their tongue and say ill things. We of all people know life was not perfect we may have fought through the challenges. But life was unpredictable I could never expect perfection from him just like he couldn't expect perfection from me. One had to learn and grow, sometimes relationships also meant compromising. We did compromise for each other and we would continue to do so.'

"No man is perfect they all have flaws I'm sure you'll agree I have more than most" I nodded in agreement make him give me an angry glare. "But if a man gives no respect to a women he doesn't deserve a women. People forget women are the mothers of mankind if you don't treat your women well nor will your kids"

"Bhai hurry up" Anjali shouted making him come out of his thoughts.

When I looked ahead I saw cameras set up, big boxes and two men standing waiting. I looked up at Arnav.

"Your wedding photo shoot Mrs"

"This wasn't required"

"I know but I want a picture for our room" he dragged me towards the cameras.

We posed for a few pictures together with the ocean sea as our backdrop. Big smiles were in all the photos.

"Now one sitting" the photographer said.

Arnav sat on the rocks and pulled me onto his lap.

"Arnav" I whined

"What! Your dress will get dirty" he said with a cheeky grin.

I laughed then moved off his lap and next to him.

"My dress won't get dirty" I fixed a little bit of it. Like a small hold he made a face.

"My island won't hurt me" I said giving him a peck "it always listens to me" I didn't notice the photographer taking pictures of our cute moment.

"Wait" Anjali came running towards us. She had stood next to the photographers telling them what to do while we had been posing. She came and sat between me and Arnav in her hand was a wooden board I could only see the back of. We took a cute picture together with her sitting in the middle the board rested on her lap. After the picture I couldn't help but lean over a little and look at what she had in her hand it read 'JUST MARRIED' I laughed at it then gave her a peck on the cheek for her cuteness.

When she was done with that picture she fiddled with her sign. I bent over to see it had been changed, it now read 'MR AND MRS' I wondered how many she was holding.

"Should we try another angle?" The photographer asked Anjali hoped off pointing to another place she wanted it to be taken. Arnav entwined our fingers we walked hand in hand to side of the shore with the mountain as our backdrop. She was picking another board when me and Arnav decided to have some fun he whispered something in my ear then threw my bouquet so my hands were free. When Anjali had decided what board she was putting up this time and the photographer was ready. Arnav looked at me and I nodded trying to hold back my laugh as Arnav lifted her by her waist I Picked up her legs.

"Ahhh" she screamed as she floated in the air. "Put me down" Arnav and I couldn't hold back our laughter. "Bhai" she whined "Bhabhi" I fixed a little bit of her dress than the board she had picked.

"This is not fair" she wiggled

"One picture Kido" I said

"One than will put you down"

"Smile for the camera" the camera man said giggling at us.

The new board was perfect for the moment it read 'BEST DAY EVER'. "Anjali you need to smile" the camera man said.

"No" she moaned

Arnav and I shared a look then began to tiggle her which made her laugh out load.

"Perfect!" He said we quickly put her down before she started to whine again. She turned to look at us with her hands on her hips and a expression I knew very well. I had seen it on her brothers face many times.

"Kido angry?" I pressed my lips together suppressing my smile.

"That was not fair"

"We were just taking a photo" Arnav said only to receive his own angry glare from his sister.

"You could have asked me"

"Then we wouldn't have got pictures of you shocked expression." He looked back at the camera guy "you got that right?" The guys both gave him a thumps up.

"Bhai!"

"And it was more fun like this" he smirked than ran as Anjali chased after him. I smiled at my adorable family wishing they always stayed like this. Teasing and prancing was a sibling right and true both took advantage of that with both having a naughty and mischievous trait in them.

Anjali came walking back, Arnav had already ran on the other side of the beach far from her reach.

"Bhai's not fair"

"He was just having some fun" her nose scrunched as she made a grumpy face. "And we needed some pictures of you."

"Fine if you pictures I'll go take some myself" she walked up to the camera man and began posing. Arnav came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"She didn't enjoy that" I said

"But we got some cute pictures"

"Arnav" I said softly

"And we had fun" I shook my head at that reply. "What is she doing?" He asked watching Anjali

"She's taking pictures of herself"

"What alone!" He stepped back "I look good today they should be taking photos of me." He walked over the camera man and began posing with her. I shook my head at the two then looked at the ocean water a few minutes later when I turn to look at then I saw they were still posing but now individually.

"Unbelievable" I said with an angry expression. These two were never going to change both as vain as each other. There were taking pictures and we had guests waiting how much time were they going to waste.

I looked at them with an angry glare then shouted "are you two done yet!"

"No!" They shouted together I looked at the then with an angry expression.

"We are getting late" I shouted

"There's no time limit" Arnav replied glancing at me for a second then the camera.

"I'm warning you to" they both looked at me with a little bit of a fearful face. I hadn't know the second camera man had been taking photographs the whole time.

"One more picture than you we'll be done" he said I looked back at him.

"We don't need anymore" I said to him.

"We do, I have one more sign board" she ran to where the boxes and resources were kept than ran back to us. "Bhai stand here" she pulled him in front of the camera "Bhabhi you here" she them pulled me next to him the ocean waves now our backdrop. I couldn't see the board in her hand she had kept it facing herself away from our sight. She smiled then handed the board in Arnav's hand "hold this" she said and walked away. We both looked at each other then at it. 'I CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY AND EVERYDAY'.

"Kido come here" I shouted after we took a photo. She shook her head and I indicated to the camera man. He tried to push her but being Arnav's sister she didn't move. "Please" I requested she came running to my side with her big smile. She could never say no to me. After she was by my side I popped on to the ground sitting comfortable on the soft sand.

"Khushi" Arnav shouted and I just smiled.

"Your clothes" Anjali shouted I said nothing and just smiled my legs on my side and my body relaxed on the sand. She looked at me then her Bhai who shook his head. The next second she was next to me with half her body leaning on me. He signed and sat with us Anjali now squashed in between with Arnav still holding the board. Arnav still looked grumpy so I put my arms around the two of them taking them into a huge hug. Arnav laughed hugged me back.

"Ahhh" Anjali screamed making us laugh again I looked at Arnav then we both kissed her cheeks. "Errr"

"My turn" Arnav shouted trying to pull me close I quickly moved back and took Anjali onto my lap blocking myself from his kiss. "Mrs RAIZARDA" she shouted I just laughed at him.

The second camera man walked up to us with his camera he got down on one knee and opened some snaps for us to see I hugged Anjali she was now sitting in front of me. Arnav put his arm around my waist as we looked at the picture. We laughed at some the. My face got serious when he stopped on one photograph. Arnav and Anjali were both in the picture with a fearful expression and I was looking at then with an angry expression. I hadn't noticed I was being photographed at that moment. Anjali looked back at her brother than they both began laughing.

"That picture holds so much truth" Arnav said in between his chuckle

Summary

Something in life we try and forget in the hope one day we will forget, but what do you do if that was not good enough and it has come back, and this time with a chance of never leaving again.

That's what happened that day not only did she lose what was important to her. But that day brought back her past.
Khushi Gupta and Anjali Raizarda's parents both died in a car crash one unfaithful night. Anjali did not want to stay at an orphanage and her brother was refusing to return. This lead Khushi to take the hasty decision to become Anjali's legal Guardian. Once Arnav did return he accused Khushi of doing this behind his back unaware of the fact she too has lost her family Arnav constantly made her feel low about still having support in her life.
When Arnav tried to take Anjali back to India with him Khushi saw the heartless man he had become. Wanting to keep Anjali happy always Khushi decided to make Arnav fight for his sister. The two made a deal in which Anjali would be the one to choose who she lives with.
During this competition Arnav thinks Khushi is hiding something. He sees the pain in her eyes but is unable to read it. He soon discovers Khushi too has lost her parents and becomes her support.

While trying to win Anjali he also romances with Khushi his lost love to win her back and forget their past. There are fights, jokes, and love but most importantly a FAMILY being formed.

There was only one hurdle in their life, the only thing stopping them from completely being happy. The darkness of their past!
One of the best yet, worst nights of their life! When they had to be DEPART for the others life!

After a heated argument they once again separated for a few months in which time Khushi finishes her degree. When returning he decides to forget the past and fulfil a promise he had made a long time ago. They return back to India in the PRETENCE of the competition.
Khushi sees a new Arnav when she gets to India one she had not known. The man he had become over time. She sees sides she doesn't like and sides she loves. Life changes over the years, surroundings change, and people change but what doesn't change is the love in our hearts.
