Hey Sandhya,
Sorry for the late comment...!!! But I could not just sit, and not comment on this beautiful chapter. 😃Poor girl is very broken, at how her dream just turned into a nightmare, and now she blames herself, for inviting this heartache. Her monologue in the morning was very touching, though it was amusing at times even... shows she is this emotional, young, naive girl who has experienced this for the first time. But of course not, she is not a bumbling idiot, 😆 she is young, bright, full of life, but too innocent and naive to deal with the complexities and depth of Arnav's life and personality. But she did pretty well though. She stood strong in her opinion and made Arnav realize, his family was not his weakness but his strength. Keeping them away from his life is not going to solve his problems but increase his inner anxiety and guilt even more.I absolutely love whenever you write a Khush-Ana scene. Its just so refreshing to see them bond so close together, and to know Khushi has someone on whom she can rely, can talk to, and to just be there for her. And Shadow in this update just stole the show. Shadow is the epitome of cuteness... I so want a dog now, just like him... It was so endearing to see him become so connected to Khushi, and love her and miss her. I felt like picking him up and giving him a biiiggg kisss...!!!! I am going ot miss seeing for sometime... A big hug to to Shadow🤗Arnav's inner turmoil was very interesting. He is discovering these feelings or emotions triggered by Khushi which he thought he never had. The battle in his mind to justify his action, shows that he is indeed sorry for hurting and and manhandling her like that. When ASR is battling with thoughts, it means he is trying to hide something which even does not want to recognize. But hell, he walks out to her with the determination to say sorry...!!!Good byes are always difficult and emtional with floods of water works involved. And when you have even the slightest bit of attachment to someone or is hurts really bad to go away. Nani was so sweet to gift her the pearl earrings. It is very heart warming to see the family also so attached to Khushi in such little time. I also find Akash and Khushi's friendship so energizing, it seems such a healthy playful relationship that they share... Can't wait for Palpal to meet Akash.Khushi, is so thoughtful, despite being born in a well to do family, she thinks and cares about the disparity in society and feels blessed of what she has in life.Arnav's surprise Cadbury also joins Shadow to be the attraction of the update. They both long to be in each other's arms but maintaining distance seems to be the wise thing to do for them. He asking her to slap him, amuzed me so much. Never has ASR bowed down even while saying sorry. He truly seems to have understood what he had done to her. And then comes the great sorry. He was so weet while saying it to her, and caressing the bruises on her hands. I am glad they spoke out their inner thoughts, but Arnav revealing to her it was impossible might have the last nail in the coffin for Khush's dreams to be locked up. The rejection felt bad. But Arnav's last words prove that He likes Khushi a lot, for which he does not want her to change. That was a great ending to the Dawn. I am very much excited for the sun to come up right up on our heads in the Noon. Though both will go through heartache, and broken dreams, I am not to sad, because sometimes, distance makes us realize how much the other meant to us. And now when they meet again after quite sometime, they will both have grown more into their matured self, which will be of no use still as they both behave like 5 years olds fighting over whenever they get the chance. 😆 So all ready for the fireworks to happen again. Loved this last piece of Dawn very very much...!!!11th Nov seems like ages away. Still will be waiting while dreaming about it at nights... 😉CheersA big hug to you...for writing it so beautifully.
