As colour fell from Khushi's face, she started to look around, which scared her further.

"Khushi! It's going to be okay!" -Payal shouted from the other cabin.

Arnav's attention suddenly came to Khushi as before he was looking down.

"It'll be alright."- He whispered to her. Khushi looked up and their eyes locked for a second as the Ferris wheel jerked and stopped again.

Khushi slid her hands around Arnav's arms to seek some comfort.

"Khushi everything will be fine. It's nothing really. See everyone is looking for the problem." -He pointed towards the mechanic. Khushi looked below and gasped.

"Everything is so tiny." -She innocently said.

Arnav chuckled.

"Of-course we're like 63 feet high from ground." -Arnav explained not realizing he was scaring her more. He looked at her face and suddenly his heart skipped a beat at what he saw.

Khushi was pale and tears kept falling out of her eyes, leaving a trail behind.

Arnav cursed himself and put his hand on her waist so she'd be closer to him and Khushi comfortably dug her face in his chest. And just after a few seconds the ride began also ended soon as well.

Khushi hadn't been scared at all. After she hugged Arnav, it was as if she hadn't felt anything at all but was in some safe place. Her safe haven.

Everybody was tired after the long days' events and so had decided to stay a night in the farm house and then they could do horse riding the next day.

As all of them got fresh after reaching, they sat down to have some tea while teasing a certain couple.

"It was so cute how Khushi hugged Arnav, right?" -Payal said unabashedly.

"And Arnav hugged her right back." - Sheetal said with a teasing grin.

Khushi was about to explode of all the embarrassment.

And well Arnav... he was just fuming.

They had no right to tease them. He thought.

"See! Akash, Nk! Learn something from your brother." -Sheetal pouted angrily. While Akash and Nk smiled bashfully.

Fortunately Arnav's phone rang. And for the first time Arnav thought Aman was somehow useful. He thanked him mentally and got up while excusing himself.

Leaving a more thankful Khushi behind because the topic was diverting to somewhere else now.

Arnav hadn't come down after that and had been busy with his laptop. But, on the inside he was desperately waiting for Khushi to come. He had to give her the bangles he bought for her. He wanted to see expression, her smile and that sparkle in her eye every time she is happy.

While on the other hand, Khushi was waiting for the lights to turn off so she would go to sleep. She certainly did not want to face Arnav after all that had happened downstairs.

Devi maiyan madat kerna. She whispered to herself.

Arnav had guessed that she was shying away. So he thought he would just keep them there, on the pillow and pretend to sleep.

Khushi was so glad that the lights were finally off. She thanked her Devi maiyan and happily jumped to the room.

As she entered the room which was dimly light by the lamp, she quickly changed and turned towards the bed when a red box caught her attention. She took it in her hands and inspected it. She found her name written on it as well.

She smiled excitedly as she opened it and a loud gasp escaped her lips as she witnessed the same bangles she was dying to buy.

She looked over at Arnav.

Is this all real?

She asked herself.

"Agar koyi mujsay kehta ke Arnav Singh Raizada mujay kabhi churiyan dein gay tou mein tou has has ke pagal hojati." -Khushi mumbled to herself and giggled.

She quickly put them inside her bag and lied down with a wide smile on her face. Oblivious to the person who had heard her words and the giggle.

He smiled too.

Ye tou kabhi mene bhi nahi socha tha. Arnav thought & smiled to sleep.

As the sun rays tinkled Arnav's face, he woke up with a slight smile on his face. He looked beside him to find his beautiful wife sleeping soundlessly.

He loved the feeling blooming in his heart.

His smile widened.

Arnav quickly got up to get fresh and get ready for the day.

"I can't wait till we climb up the horses and ride them!" -Sheetal excitedly clapped her hands while talking to Payal. Both of them had instantly clicked on the Shagun day.

Khushi stood behind them smiling physically but her mind was a disaster.

She couldn't decide if she should thank Arnav for the bangles or not? Even if she did, how the hell was she suppose to form words? These days everything died on her lips when she was in front of him.

Thinking of him... where was he?

Khushi looked around the house to spot him when Nk winked at Akash and said, "He's outside Khushi. He woke up early and is already at the stables."

Khushi blushed at being caught and the other two girls giggled.

As they reached out to the garden Khushi could spot Arnav far away at the stables. He fed the horses with the help of a few helpers and looked extremely flawless doing so. Khushi gulped while having second thoughts of thanking him.

Khushi tried to calm her heart down, looked around the whole place. She hadn't noticed last night how massive the place was. She stared at the huge fields for horse riding. She was awestruck. As they kept walking, she noticed how one end of the field lead to the jungle area. She had already decided to go there... only if she quickly gets hang of the horse. As Khushi was a quick learner she was sure she'd be on it in no time.

Khushi excitedly bounced her way to the horses as the rest giggled, misunderstanding that she couldn't wait to meet Arnav.

Khushi eyes sparkled as she looked at all the horses. She was mentally fighting with herself with which one she would choose.

"Hmm... maybe that one." -she talked to herself.

"You like him?" - Arnav stood right behind her and Khushi stiffened.

Khushi turned to look at him and stepped behind. When did he become so tall? She thought to herself. She just reached his shoulder.

"Bhai's really fond of horses." -Akash and the others approached them.

Arnav nodded stiffly as they had just interrupted him.

So much for having her alone! Arnav thought angrily.

As others got busy with the horses, Khushi went close the light brown horse that she had liked from the beginning and she was about to stroke him when Arnav came beside her.

"Noo." -He warned her and Khushi quickly stepped back.

"He likes me only." - Arnav stroked his mane. "Otherwise gets a little wild." -He gave a throaty laugh making Khushi's already beating heart run another marathon.

Stop! Stop! Stop! She mentally scolded her heart which only mocked her by beating faster.

"But if you first just pat him, he'll let you sit with me." -Arnav smirked.

Khushi just turned scarlet.

Just then they heard Payal's playful scream as she sat in Akash's lap while riding the horses. Nk and Sheetal were in the same position and were laughing crazily.

"Come on now. What are you waiting for?" -Arnav said in ASR mode and saw Khushi's eyes widen while she mumbled something.

Khushi was about to step on the stirrup when she felt strong and warm hands circle her waist and help her up the horse and a second later Arnav was right behind Khushi.

DEVI MAIYAN! Not helpinggg! Khushi's mind was havoc. She liked it but then was getting weird feelings that were turning everything upside down.

"Ready?" -Arnav huskily whispered in her ear.

And she could only manage a nod while the blush made her cheeks look pink as ever.

Both of them were riding quietly at first. Khushi loved everything. She wanted to pause the moment and keep it safe with her. She loved how Arnav was very careful with the horse, he was riding it at minimal speed and the breeze played with Khushi's hair and the shampoo scent drove Arnav insane.

Only he knew how much self control it took to control him.

They were alone in the field and the other two couples were riding on their own across the field.

Arnav suddenly backed up. "See, hold this and now ride." - He pushed the reins in her hands.

"WHAT! Me? No... no!" -Khushi shrieked as she pushed them back in his hands.

Arnav chuckled.

"Okay, how about this..." -He put them in her hands and held her hands gently. "I'll help you through this." -He whispered.

Khushi's breathe hitched.

The horse started to speed up a little. Khushi giggled while enjoying it. And with out Khushi realizing Arnav removed his hands from hers after a few minutes.

"This is amazing!" -Khushi shouted.

"You're doing it yourself Khushi." -Arnav told her and Khushi quickly looked at her hands and gasped. Arnav looked at her smiling widely.

The moment stilled and Khushi just blurted out a thank you.

"Thank you Arnav jee..." -Khushi smiled brightly.

"For what?" -Arnav frowned.

"The bangles." -Khushi tilted her head to look at Arnav who was looking at her intently. "I loved them."

"It's nothing Khushi. I know you loved them because I heard you last night." -Arnav chuckled and imitated Khushi, "Agar koyi mujsay kehta ke Arnav Singh Raizada mujay kabhi churiyan dein gay tou mein tou has has ke pagal hojati."

Khushi eyes and lips formed O's. And suddenly she left the reins. The horse jerked making Arnav hold onto the horse while pulling Khushi closer. The horse stopped while neighing, making Khushi almost fall off the horse.

Everything stilled.

Arnav held her in his arms and he had tuned into some other land.

Khushi's wide eyes looked at the horse and her breath was uneven. "Woah!" - she sighed. But as she looked at Arnav with her doe eyes, she was startled by the way he stared at her. Arnav's hands were settled on her tiny waist and as if on its own, his hand travelled to her face and ever so slowly he tucked a strand behind her ear. Khushi's breath hitched and her lips went dry.

Arnav's eyes travelled all along her face, as if mentally caressing her. He tucked another strand behind her ear and leaned closer.

Khushi closed her eyes on reflex.

The surroundings were perfect. The sun shone on them and there was light breeze which played along with them. The trees danced in happiness and as if the horse was told not to move.

Arnav was just a millimeter away when their lips brushed against each other. Khushi gasped as a shiver ran down her spine and Arnav quickly placed his lips on hers...

And they wanted everything to stay this way, forever.

I know you guys deserved a way better ending! I love you all for hanging in there for these sh*ty updates. (IF doesn't even let me say sh*t) -.- Thank you for the love but I don't deserve it cause I made you guys wait and wait and wait and like seriously this is the dumbest FF Ive ever read. :P LOL. Seriously. I'm so done writing. :P Why were you guys reading again? 🤣 I'm not leaving IF. I'll be here, on a reading spree. But I'm done with FFs. God! they are burdens! Oh by the way, you'll see me with lots of new One shots. Once a week or month.
