Mauli hunched down to study her sister's face' which was emotionless as she rattled her fingers over the table, too engrossed to notice the book she was reading was lying abandoned for long and the pages flipped continuously.

Mauli contemplated and then shook her sister.

"...Di you lost again'???", Mauli shook Taani once more .

Taani jolted back from the reverie and looked at Mauli who seemed disappointed' she seemed to say something for a while and Taani had ignored her all along thinking about that fateful day.

"..sorry Mauli' tell me what were you saying?", she broomed her past memories of this morning to her moments Trash.

"'Chodo di' no use whenever I am just about to say the best thing that has happened today, you just go for a package tour in your la la land.", Mauli shrugged.

"Baccha'" Taani used this name whenever Mauli was sad or angry "Tell me na' I am all ears", she wrapped her arms around Mauli's shoulder, bringing her smile and excitement back.

"Taani Mauli' jaldi come down", their mother interrupted them from downstairs.

Taani who could hear the small chaos downstairs made her way downstairs while making a bun with her long hair.. and she stopped, her eyed wide. "No this can't be happening",

"Maa aapko batana chayie tha na mein aaj hi toh yahaan aur aap... mujhe apni M.D ki padhai bhi puri karni aur aap shaddi... aap janti hoon yeh pyar vayaar shaddi...not my thing Mein sirf ek acchi doctor banke logon ki help karna chati hoon that's it. Plz mom"

"Beta aaj tumhe ladke wale dekhne aa rahe hai tumhari shaadi nahin hai...Mauli apni behen ko le ke jaa andaar aur taiyaar kar ke le aa. Taani mujhe koi natak nahni chayie aayi samaj...ache se baat karna sabse..hmmm"

Taani ended with aggressiveness in her tone.

In Rey' s Home ( Hall)

"What is this mom...Mujhe aaye 3 gante bhi nahni aur aap yeh shaddi business le baith gayi. Aur ladki walon dekhne jaana not happening Mom."

"Beta please...ek baar tu use mil toh le Bahut hi pyari bacchi hai...Doctor hai...abhi internship kar rahi..Teri type ki hi ladki hai beta tujhe bahut pasand aayegi."

In Taani's Room

"Mauli yeh sab kya hai mujhe nahni pehna yeh sab kuch"

"Didu plz kitne mast dress ko aap bakwaas keh rahe ho jao jaldi pehen ke aao."

After some time

"Wow didu you are looking perfect. Jiju toh waise hi flat ho jayenge"

"Oye kya yeh sab jiju viju. Maine sirf use mil rahi hoon shaddi nahni karna hain mujhe."

Suddenly some chaos disturbed their conversation.

"Didu ladke wale aa gaye chal window se dekhte hai"

"Tu dekh mujhe nahni dekhana. Main yeh sirf maa ki khushi ke liye kar rahi hoon ok. Mujhe iss sab koi interst nahni"

"Oye didu tu toh pagal hain. Maine jaa rahi hoon okkk Bye."

Rey's Car

Suddenly his eyes flickered and he saw her. The girl he met this morning.

He just stood up, swallowing the beauty he was seeing in front of him.

"Man this girl is making me mad minute by minute. I just can't take my eyes off her."

Looking them Mauli broke the eye lock & said

"Yeh hai meri Di Taani"

"Taani"

Rey uttered beneath him

"Aao baitho beta Rey ke paas"

Rey's Mother said to her

She sat beside him & literally both had goose bumps at that time specially Rey.

Rey's POV

"Oh God How can I reject this beautiful girl. Don't make this more difficult for me"

"Beta agar tum dono ko akele mein kuch baath karni toh"

"Ji Aunty"

Rey said as fast as he could & without uttering a word they made their way together.
