Lovely update.

Here is some thing I would like to add to your note.

Kaveri Sankramana is Tula Sankramana, that falls sometime on mid- October. It is the day when the water spring out at Talakaveri and as you have told all people of Coorg worship Godess Kavery. It is not only the people of Kodagu but lots of pilgrims from Tamil Nadu and Karnataka flock there. People from the areas where river Kavery flows and gives them the water to drink and to grow their crops come there to witness the theerthodhbhava (springing of water) and that is considered as sacred.
