Semanti, I can understand your attachment to your mobile phone! I refuse to use one but the one my dad has, and which I sometimes have no option but to use, is a basic one... most would consider it an antique piece, fit for a museum, but it gets the work done and that's all I care about!
No ominous bell-tolling to tell her if she was doing the right thing... love your tongue-in-cheek comments about the clichd scenes out serials and films. The vivid description of the football match and the various moves makes it come alive before our very eyes... thank god Arnav doesn't know that Khushi is watching him from the stands or I don't think he would have been in any frame of mind to come up with those winning strategies! Arnav seems to be a risk taker but a careful one [an oxymoron of sorts, I know] with all the preparations made: "I don't need a flamboyant huge score. We just need one goal-- to win, okay?" Nice to note that it's the playing captain who strategises and makes on the spot decisions rather than leaving it to the coach... and Arnav is doing a marvellous job of leading from the front... that he isn't a glory hound but a team player, is borne out by the fact that he passes the ball to another player to score the important goal. NK and Kshitij had managed to take possession of the ball and were now lazily passing it to each other, wasting time, even as the IIST forwards they had marked gnashed their teeth in frustration. NK was a distinctly flamboyant football player who loved showing off for the crowds. The crowd clearly loved him as well, as they hooted and cheered at his antics... lucky for them it worked in this instance... more often than not, as the team whiles away the time till the final whistle, the ball gets taken by the opposite team, inevitably resulting in a goal! Following tradition, all the St. Zee players stripped off their football jerseys and ran around the field in a victory lap, egging the crowd on... that is what most of the girls must have been there for! Khushi falling under the spell of the game, and especially that of the football captain comes as no surprise: Arnav Singh Raizada would be the death of her... yay! Also, it is very easy to get swept along by the crowd's energy. Endearing to note Khushi's boredom and bewilderment about the game transforming into excitement: She had been a little bored during the first half when nothing seemed to be happening. She had no idea why so many people were ooh-ing and aah-ing around her. What was she missing? [One can almost imagine Khushi scratching her head in puzzlement] And then the second half had made her want to scream, shout, bite her nails--all at the same time. She gets totally involved in the match. The larger part of her had shamelessly ogled at Raizada. Damn, did he do this every time they won a match? Preeto was right. He was beautiful. No debate there. She deliberately traced the lean, sinewy lines of his back and chest with her eyes as he ran around the field. He was the perfect balance between skinny and muscular--not veering excessively toward either side. It should be a crime for that boy to wear a shirt... Khushi's observations are bang on... forget homoerotic, the temperature in my room just went up a few degrees! Wow, brought back memories of a sweaty / shirtless Arnav / Barun! Khushi finding a freshly showered Arnav delicious is such a change from her straitlaced image [despite her having dated other guys]. It must have been anti-climactic for the nervous Akash, wondering about Arnav's reaction to the knowledge that he was in a relationship with Shahira, to realize that Arnav hadn't even noticed her... Arnav's whole focus is on Khushi... if that wasn't enough to boggle Akash's mind, the prospect of Khushi wanting to apologise to Arnav leaves him numb! As always he hadn't the slightest idea as to what was going on in Arnav's twisted mind. He prayed that he wasn't going to pick a fight with Khushi at that moment... He had to be missing something... he was still trying to figure out what was going on between the two of them... Akash turned to look at her in some confusion. "You know what this is about?" Poor Akash isn't quick on the uptake!
She looked so serene and so unlike her usual argumentative self, standing there in the falling dusk... a little oasis of calm in the whirlwind that was his life... he's so damn wrong... her thoughts are just roiling in her mind... a nervous and unsure Khushi is a nice change! She being completely open and frank about her emotions / reaction after their kiss is the right move as is Arnav, with his questions, egging her on to take the leap of faith. Kudos to Khushi for admitting that she didn't regret kissing Arnav. Khushi sent him a small smile and covered the last two steps between them... clear indication that she has stopped running from her feelings and from him... she is not backing away any more, despite her fears and the uncertainties that lie ahead. It's because I think you're very sexy and look fantastic without a shirt. It's significant that I think you're a fantastic kisser and want you to kiss me again... she knows what she wants and isn't afraid to ask for it! "You think I'm sexy?" "Khushi rolled her eyes, "Of course you fixated on that." "No. I heard all of it. I just didn't think Gupta would call me 'sexy'. I'm a mere mortal and not one of her favourite movie stars." Arnav's gentle teasing of Khushi is endearing. His touch, his lips moving over hers warmed her up and comforted her like nothing else. She didn't ever want to step out of the security of his arms... touching! She can have respite from her worries at least for a little while. "Shhh. I know. We'll figure it all out. You and me. Together. I told you that day, and I'm telling you again, you don't have to do everything by yourself. Let me in. I need you with me and you're not allowed to run anymore, okay?" Wish such supportive and understanding men could be as easily found in the actual world! Khushi shivered as his fingers slipped under her pullover and tank top, gently caressing the bare skin of her lower back and waist... All she wanted for the moment was to stay in her little bubble of happiness where Raizada took liberties under the cover of darkness and kept her warm and content... and there she was worried about keeping warm!
The NK-Payal messaging is hilarious, especially Yep. Now they "fight" in a different way... I ran out of the locker room like a ninja before they could see me... I have no such qualms. I am going to ask her the minute I catch her alone... eagerly awaiting this part... does he have the guts to ask Arnav?
Awesome awesome awesome...
So Finally the most awaited moment come... They has sorted out every thing...
Khushi watched football match... Now a days she is doing impossible things...😉
